Gruetly Bay Farm Life

Season one Episode four: A Cranky Old Goose

Rock music started playing for the opening theme, and after a couple seconds, Lucky was shown to be skateboarding out of the barn with a confident smile. "London to Gruetly Bay is kind of a big change! (Patch is shown to be drawing something while sitting under a tree and hi fiving Lucky as he skates by) But Lucky's gonna take it on cause the mission's in range! (Two-tone is shown to be helping the pink pig from the intro with a dress as she waves to Lucky as he skates by) He and his friends are ready for whatever comes their way! (Rolly is shown to be reading a cooking magazine while giving a thumbs up to Lucky as he passes by) And they'll be by each other's side every day!"

Lucky is then shown to be talking to Roxie with the two showing clear feelings for one another. "Romance, (Lucky is shown to be punching a ferret that tries to attack him) action, (Lucky and his friends are shown to be various activities in the Bark Brigade) it doesn't matter! They're gonna work hard to make it better! (Lucky is shown to be punching Mooch right in the jaw) Bullies, (Lucky is shown to be struggling to sit through one of Tibbs' lectures) boredom, they can get through it! (Lucky is shown to be admiring his butt in a mirror before he jumps out the window) And Lucky is the leader who's gonna become most fit!"

The song then finished with the song finishing in an epic rock fashion as Lucky skateboards down the ladder to the window of the barn's top floor. "He's skateboard packed and ego charged! (Lucky is shown giving a sly grin and finger bang to some nearby animals who're annoyed by his ego) Cocky bugger livin' large! (Lucky spots Cruella about to hit one of his siblings) But when danger comes a knockin'; (Lucky saves his sibling and gets out of the way) he's ready for nose popping!"

Lucky and his friends then do their own individual poses with Lucky doing a peace sign, Patch giving a cheerful smile, Two-tone giving a friendly wave, and Rolly patting his stomach. "He's ready to get through the strife, (Lucky and his friends are seen spotting something in the distance) in his new Gruetly Bay Farm, Life!" The screen blows up with it then showing Lucky arguing with a blue goose as Patch tries to break the two up, Two-tone shows concern for the both of them, and Rolly watches without clarity on what he should do right now.

The farm was shown in it's usual beauty, but this time, it was being plagued by a nasty heat wave. Mayor Ed Pig and Dumpling were in a mud puddle trying to cool off, and when that wasn't working, they tried to move; only when they did, they were stuck in the mud for a bit. They were able to get out, but it was still an inconvenience. Nanny could feel the heat in her body as she milked one of the cows. The cows could as well, hence the comment Nanny made when she was giving less milk than usual. "I'll say Duchess. You deserve an air conditioner for all of the previous heat wave you must have survived in here."

The cows took a liking to that with Duchess then noticing Lucky and his friends running to Hiccup Hole. She was quick to warn Nanny about it, since she heard about Lucky's emotion issues. "I just saw that Lucky kid run to Hiccup Hole. Don't be too hard on him if Lucy starts complaining about him and his friends. She doesn't get along with a lot of us in general."

"As long as he doesn't start any trouble, he'll be okay." Nanny assured Duchess, knowing that Lucky wouldn't start a fight without a good reason.

The woods were then shown with Lucky and his friends running in as they made their way to the creek, where Hiccup Hole lied. There, a blue goose, who went by the name of Lucy, took a step into the water and sighed of relief at the cool feeling on her webbed foot. She then went in entirely and started to relax, only to hear the cheering of Lucky and his friends. This led to her giving a deadpan look to the screen. "Oh bother."

Lucky and his friends arrived at Hiccup Hole with Lucky proudly exclaiming his excitement as he jumped into the water. "Cannonball into paradise!" Lucky did a cannonball into the pond with Patch Rolly joining him, and the three of them ended up going so far that they splashed Lucy to shore. Two-tone was quick to dodge the small wave that the three boys made, watching them laugh at how big the cannonball was as she then saw Lucy there.

Two-tone saw that Lucy was annoyed and was quick to assure her that the splash wasn't to ruin her day. "My sincerest apologies for my brothers reckless play. (Rolls eyes while smiling at her brothers' behavior) Some boys just have that devil may care vibe to them."

Lucy got up in a fit of rage, one which Two-tone took alarm to as she noticed Lucy going towards the playing puppies. "And it's a vibe I won't tolerate!" Lucky, Patch, and Rolly heard the exclamation as Lucy then began scolding them for their behavior. "You three had some nerve coming to my pond and splashing me onto the land!" Lucky was already starting to get annoyed with Lucy's behavior as she continued to scold them. "You'd best leave this pond this instant!"

Patch was quick to apologize for the inconvenience, not wanting to start any conflict. "Sorry about that; we didn't know-"

"I got this Patch." Lucky assured Patch, not ready to let Lucy talk to him or his allies like that. "Listen here whatever your name is. Last I checked, this pond wasn't owned by anyone. It's public property, and we have the right to be here." Lucy didn't take kindly to Lucky's tone, even though he was kind of right. "And we didn't intend on splashing you, so if you could just let us play by ourselves, that'd be great."

"I will do no such thing!" Lucy shot back, insisting that she was in the right in this situation. "And if you must know, my name is Lucy! I have been living here for years, and I won't tolerate this behavior!"

Lucky was baffled by that and started laughing softly as he then shot one back at Lucy. "Okay; listen here ya whiny ol' windbag." Lucky's insult shocked Lucy, who was then slapped in the face with a quote from Lucky that was... technically true. "In what way would leaving us alone do any harm?"

Two-tone saw her time to chime in as Lucy spoke back in regards to Lucky's taunt. "No one speaks to me that way! You are by far the rudest, most insignificant puppy I have ever spoken to!"

Lucky was about to speak up as Two-tone interjected, making sure that Lucky knew to stop. "What Lucky was trying, (Gives Lucky a stern look) to say," Lucky rolled his eyes and crossed his arms as Two-tone looked to Lucy. "is that it's really hot out today, and this is the best way we have to cool off."

"As if I'd let this infernal brat anywhere NEAR my pond!" Lucy shouted, leaving Lucky to step in and give Lucy a comeback that scorned her.

"Jesus Lucy. You're already saggy enough; why bother making your vocal cords as nasty as your figure?" Lucy was Appalled by this and left in a fit of rage, leaving Lucky to laugh as Patch and Rolly showed worry, whereas Two-tone gave a look of concern. Though, Patch did snicker a bit at that last comeback as Lucky spoke to Two-tone confidently. "Oh, relax Two-tone. What's she gonna do? Whine to our parents?"

Pongo and Perdita were shown giving stern looks as Lucky was shown holding a can of soda as he commented on it. "A toast to my big mouth!"

Lucky chugged down the soda can and burped when he was finished, tossing it into the recycling bin and scoring as Patch fist bumped him in congratulations. "Nice shot."

Lucy then decided to get to the point, having been the one to confront Pongo and Perdita about the issue. "This infernal brat and his brothers assaulted me with my own water, and then the horseshoe one insulted me and said I was saggy!" Lucky was starting to get annoyed again as Lucy made her demand. "I demand an apology!"

"An apology for what, standing up for YOUR pompous butt?" Lucky asked, and then he looked to his parents to see what they had to say about this. "Mum, dad, I would like to point out the fact that Lucy was the one who started the argument by demanding we leave Hiccup Hole, knowing about the heat wave that's going on."

Rolly was starting to get especially hot due to his weight as he cooled himself off with his fan. "Side note, we should get an air conditioner for the barn."

"It's on back order." Pongo assured Rolly, and then he spoke to Lucky about the issue. "Now Lucky, I do understand that Lucy started the argument, but that doesn't excuse you continuing the fight yourself. Sometimes the best method to use (Lucy wipes away a fake tear) is to ignore them."

"Like that fake tear?" Lucky asked, and then he brought up another point to his side of the story. "And look. I get that everyone has their own methods of fun or relaxation, and I can respect that. What I CAN'T respect is Lucy believing she owns Hiccup Hole, as if Ed owned it before and he gave her the deed or something."

Lucy growled to Lucky who ignored her and listened to what Perdita said next. "We do understand that. But it gives you no right to call Lucy names." Lucky then started mocking Perdita to Patch, who started snickering in response. "Now you all, owe Lucy an apology." Perdita then closed Lucky's mouth, informing him of his own role in the conflict. "Lucky, you, most of all."

"Alright, fine." Lucky then looked at Lucy, and gave her a non-apology worth remembering with Lucy being horrified by the language. "Lucy, I'm sorry you're a whiny, saggy, webbed feet Karen who thinks she can own whatever she wants just by saying she owns it, has no respect for children which is probably why she doesn't have any, assuming she lives alone, and would much rather throw a tantrum towards any children who enter the pond in a way she doesn't like than lose one moment of silence."

Lucy was about to explode at Lucy as she started short circuiting with Two-tone informing Lucky of it. "Lucky, I would recommend stopping while you're ahead."

Perdita sighed as she then asked the others how they felt about this. "And do the rest of you feel the same way?"

Patch was quick to back Lucky up. "Lucy started it, and was also pretty rude. I'm with Lucky."

Two-tone was more or less, not taking sides. "Honestly, I just want this to be over."

And Rolly wasn't really paying attention. "I don't care WHO wins. I just want this heat to be done with."

"Right." Perdita then gave the others an ultimatum she was sure they couldn't ignore. "Until you four apologize to Lucy, the swimming pond at Hiccup Hole is off limits."

Lucky's group started complaining with Lucky especially making it clear he wasn't on board with that. "Wow; way to be parent of the year mum!"

"Now Perdy, don't you think that's a bit harsh?" Pongo asked Perdita, who rasied an eyebrow in response with Pongo trying to be reasonable. "I'm just saying, they weren't entirely unprovoked in the confrontation."

"Thank you dad!" Lucky chimed in, looking to Perdita in the hopes that she'd listen. "Please, listen to him!"

"Don't bother." Lucy spoke up, glaring at Lucky as she spoke about her plan. "Once I tell Ed about this, all puppies will be banned from Hiccup Hole, and then I'll have infinite peace and quiet!"

Lucky blew a raspberry at Lucy and walked off with his group coming with him, leaving Lucy to leave in her own direction as Pongo spoke to Perdita about her rule. "There's also the heat wave going on."

Perdita started to give Pongo's point some thought, knowing that the heat wave would be tough to survive. "That is a good point."

Lucky and his friends left the barn with Lucky getting an idea as he looked to his friends, making sure not to take his anger out on them. "Hear me out guys. I need twenty minutes again, and I think I know where to take it." Lucky's sly grin gave the others an idea of what he was going to do with Patch being excited, Two-tone being concerned, and Rolly wondering what he was thinking.

Lucky was laying still in the water of Hiccup Hole with Patch, Two-tone, and Rolly watching as they tried to keep cool with popsicles. As Patch licked a banana popsicle, he looked to Rolly, wondering if Lucky's idea would work on Lucy. "How do you think Lucy will react to this Rolly? She isn't exactly familiar with Lucky's 'twenty minutes'."

"She was smart enough to figure out who our parents were after only meeting us once." Rolly pointed out before biting into a blue raspberry popsicle. "I think she'll listen to his family when we tell her not to interrupt something that could give her a death wish."

"If by smart enough you mean weak enough, then no!" Lucy was revealed to be swimming over to Lucky, who was trying to get his twenty minutes done as Lucy started to berate him for ignoring her new rule. "Listen here you infernal, horseshoe spotted brat! I specifically-"

"Went, away?" Lucky responded harshly while shooing Lucy, who was getting more infuriated by the minute. "Since you're clearly unaware, whenever I get angry enough, I need twenty minutes where no one bothers me. That includes my family, my friends, and you."

Lucy wasn't about to let some puppy boss her around though. She refused to let him ignore her rules. "I don't care how many minutes you need! If you need to calm down then fine, but you can't do it here! (Lucky's eyes open with anger) Banned means you can't come back!"

"And twenty minutes is longer than twenty seconds!" Lucky shouted, causing her to grab Lucy's chest as soon as he shouted seconds.

Patch, Two-tone, and Rolly watched as Lucky beat Lucy up off screen, leaving them to watch in horror as Two-tone sighed in response to Lucy's decision as she finished her orange popsicle. "If only she'd listened to his warning." Lucky continued to beat Lucy up off screen with the others worried about what would happen next.

Lucky and the others were at the snack stand with Lucky slurping down a cherry soda and then asked for seconds. "Fill er up again Connor. I need as much as I can get." Connor obliged to Lucky's request as Lucky then apologized about what happened to his friends. "Sorry you guys had to see that. Should've known Lucy was too ignorant to leave me alone in the one recurring instance where she'd have to."

"In your defense, that was on her as well." Patch responded, and then he took another sip of his chocolate milkshake before clarifying what he meant. "I mean, she has to have at least heard of us by now. She couldn't have possibly thought that was a good idea."

Lucky got his second soda with Roxie being heard exclaiming Connor's name in an exhausted tone from nearby. "Connor!" Lucky and the others saw Roxie coming over to the snack stand and sitting down next to Lucky, being incredibly hot as she made her request. "This heat is killing me. I need a strawberry soda stat!"

"You got it." Connor assured Roxie, and then he got to work on the soda as Roxie gave an exhausted sigh.

Lucky and his friends could tell from how sweaty Roxie was that this was from heat exhaustion, leaving them worried as Lucky spoke up. "You okay Rox? You look way to hot for your own good, and not in the good way." Lucky then realized what he just said and hoped that didn't come out wrong as he decided to correct himself. "You're not ugly of course. I'm just pointing it out."

Roxie wiped her forehead with Connor handing her the strawberry soda she ordered, and she gulped some of it down before she replied. "I wish I could say yes to that Lucky." Roxie then finished her soda, letting out a burp before she commented on what happened. "Ya know Lucy, that crazy lady I warned you about? Well she decided to up and ban all of the puppies from the swimming part of Hiccup Hole!" Lucky and his friends became shocked when hearing this as Roxie took notice and asked about it. "I mean, you guys had to have heard about that, right?"

Lucky then sighed with guilt in response. Despite there not being any glaring eyes aimed at him, he still knew he played a part in why this happened. "I... might've been partially responsible for that." Roxie became interested in that detail with Lucky then explaining why as he looked at her. "My friend and I met up with her after Patch, Rolly, and I ended up splashing her by accident when jumping into the water. Of course, she felt the need to make me mad, so we started arguing, and I called her a whiny old windbag, and eventually, it led to her getting beaten up."

Roxie was impressed with that insult and couldn't help but laugh when she thought about it. "Whiny old windbag. I gotta remember that one." Roxie sipped some of her soda as Lucky took a sip of his as well with Roxie then asking what led to him being beaten up. "Why'd you beat her up though?"

"Well..." Lucky struggled to speak up at first, but then sighed, knowing that lying to Roxie wouldn't help him. "I have this thing, where if I get too angry, I need twenty minutes of no one bothering me to calm down. I tried taking advantage of that by going to Hiccup Hole to calm down, but of course, I should've known that Lucy would be stupid enough to get in my face, after being clearly warned about what NOT to do during that time."

Roxie gave an understanding look as she then spoke up about what was going on. "Well she said it's unless you guys apologize to her, but I doubt she'll actually let us all swim in Hiccup Hole again even if you DO end up doing that."

"She definitely doesn't seem like it." Patch admitted while drawing an angry Lucy nagging Lucky at the pond, and Lucky saw said drawing and got an idea. "Anyone have any plans?"

Lucky gave a mischievous grin, one that caught everyone's attention, and he was more than happy to say why. "I think I know something that can help."

Lucky and the others were at Roxie's house, since she had an air conditioner, and Roxie gave them a warning about what her parents thought about guests. "Remember guys; my parents hate guests who aren't beyond polite, so if you have to fart or burp or whatever, do it out the window."

Lucky and the others took note of this as Patch then asked Lucky what he wanted him to do while he was drawing. "So Lucky, what exactly was your idea again?"

"It's simple." Lucky assured Patch, and then he went into explaining what he wanted Patch to do. "First, you'll write out a comic that mocks Lucy by having her see a therapist who convinces her to be mean to kids to pleasure herself." The others seemed off-put by this as Lucky continued. "Then we'll print it out and hand it out to everyone on the farm for a dollar a comic. I call it 'Operation: Hiccup Hole Belongs To Everyone,"" Lucky then brought up something that he felt would be perfect for Patch's time crunch. "And the best part is that you only have to write one strip!"

"That, I can work with!" Patch stated confidently, and then he got to drawing and made sure to do the best he could.

Two-tone then spoke up, being unsure if this was really the best way to go about this. "Are you sure about this Lucky? This could just make the situation worse."

"I don't see exactly HOW the situation could get worse." Lucky admitted, and then he put a paw on Two-tone's shoulder while assuring her that they'd be okay. "Cmon Two-tone; it'll be a cinch." Two-tone sighed, knowing he would be able to talk Lucky out of this one. Then again, has she ever been able to do that? She just hoped they wouldn't get in trouble for this.

The next day, Lucky and the others were selling Patch's comics with Patch and Rolly shown making their sales they were getting on one part of the farm. Patch was amazed at how many sales he was getting so fast, and they still had a couple dozen left to go. "Wow Rolly! It's almost as if we became a business overnight! Minus the fact that it's daytime, of course."

"Yeah, you said it Patch." Rolly replied, although, he then expressed concern over how the comic would be received. "I just hope not too many people think it's too harsh."

"Neither do I, but if they agree with us on the Lucy thing, then we'll be good." Patch assured Rolly optimistically, and then the two of them continued to sell his comics, still being impressed with the profit he was making off of it.

Over by Hiccup Hole, a lot of residents were buying Patch's comic with Two-tone speaking up about it with worry. "Lucky, we really shouldn't be doing this at Hiccup Hole. Lucy might find out."

"That's the idea genius." Lucky snarked, and he continued to make sales as he explained the next part of his plan. "Once Lucy finds out what we're doing, she'll come over and start to criticize us, and then she'll see the comic and realize she has to get over herself and let us swim here."

Two-tone wasn't sure about this, but Lucy came over before she could object, being furious by the noise. "I said no-" Lucy then saw what they were doing when she got close and when she went to take one of the comics, Lucky gestured for a dollar. She reluctantly gave one before asking what it was about. "What are these supposed to be?"

"Just a cartoon we're selling." Lucky explained, and then she handed Lucy a comic strip and allowed her to read it.

When Lucy started reading the comic strip, she started fuming. It was then revealed that the comic was of her berating Lucky unfairly.

The strip was in a hand drawn comic book style, and it started with Lucy berating Lucky and his friends. "You're trying to have fun in this pond, and I don't like fun!"

"But that's not fair Lucy!" Lucky declared proudly. "Hiccup Hole is for everyone, no matter who they are!"

Lucy wasn't having it however, and her arms were crossed in the third slide as she retorted. "You're correct about that! But I'm still going to be clingy with my pride and hold onto this pond being mine!" The fourth slide also showed an instance of psychological roasting, which Lucky obviously advised Patch to draw. "Also, I'm a cranky old hag who's jealous of children for their optimism, and I'm also narcissistic."

The fifth slide had Lucky asking a question about this. "So you pretend you own this pond because you're obsessed with feeling as if you're in control of something!"

"Precisely!" The sixth slide showed Lucy stating proudly before announcing that he was going to lie about what actually happened here. "And I'm going to tell your parents that you intentionally harmed me because no one wants to hear me whine for too long!"

The seventh slip showed someone going 'Ahem.', and then it was revealed in the last slide that it was Pongo and Perdita, who weren't very pleased as Perdita spoke to a now nervous and scared Lucy, who knew that this wasn't going to go down well. "We're intelligent enough to know not to suck up to narcissistic jerks."

End!

Lucy gave Lucky a furious look when she finished the comic and demanded to know who was responsible for drawing it. "I demand to know who drew this infuriating mess that you made of me!"

Lucky was baffled by that one; as if Lucy actually believed he'd just tell her who wrote it. "Do you really think I'll just TELL you who wrote the comic so you can go and yell at them instead? Sure I arranged this comic to give you a peace of my mind Lucy, but I have standards, and getting my friends in trouble to cover my hot butt is one of them!"

Lucy scoffed, knowing that she wasn't going to get Lucky to talk, so she would have to resort to other measures. "Very well then. I'll just go to Mayor Ed Pig and have HIM sort you out! (Walks off) Just you wait. There's nothing that can help you with the mayor of this farm on my side."

Lucky laughed a bit after Lucy left with Roxie having overheard what happened and walking up to Lucky. "You may wanna look into that Lucy. Ed and Lucy are actually really good friends. They go all the way back to Animal High School."

"There's an Animal High School?" Lucky asked, and Lucy nodded her head yes with Lucky having to admit that he could get behind that. "Makes sense. The Bark Brigade is kinda like a school from what we've seen from orientation."

Two-tone then gave a look of concern as she spoke up about the plan. "This is what I was talking about. Now she knows what we're doing and you're gonna get in trouble."

"Not if we can hit him where it hurts." Roxie assured Two-tone, and then she looked to Lucky to give him some advice of her own. "Try hitting him with the rank card. One jab at his ability as a mayor and he'll be on your side like Tibbs and Colonel." Lucky nodded in response, and had to admit that he was a little excited. Even though he hated politics.

Lucky was heading over to Mayor Ed Pig's office as he looked to his right and saw Blake reading the comic strip by the barn entrance. Lucky was glad to see Blake laughing at it with Blake noticing him as he was walking by. "This strip is great Lucky. I didn't know you could draw like this."

"Haha. Thanks Blake." Lucky replied, and then he made sure to let Blake know who actually drew it. "It was actually Patch who drew this though. I just came up with the story for it."

Blake took note of that as he then pointed out that Patch wasn't the type to write mean stuff about others. "That makes sense. From what I've seen, Patch is way more into drawing, and he also isn't the type to insult people like this."

"Believe me when I say that Lucy deserved it." Lucky assured Blake, rubbing his head and making him smile as he finished what he had to say. "I'm gonna sort out the Hiccup Hole thing with one simple exploit."

Lucky walked off with Blake smiling as he continued to read the strip, leaving Lucky to walk up to Mayor Ed Pig's Office. Right on cue as well, as Lucy exited at that moment and didn't hesitate to call him out, which led to him giving a deadpan look. "Oh, great. It's the brat again. Just be glad your parents are busy doing errands with your humans. I learned that when I asked the other human."

Lucky moved Lucy out of the way after letting out a nasty on cue in her face, causing her to gag as he went into Mayor Ed Pig's office. "Honestly sir, I don't know how you can be friends with her."

"I usually get to see her kind side more than most do." Mayor Ed Pig explained, and as Lucky sat down, he started listening to see what he had to say. "Lucy says you splashed her at Hiccup Hole's swimming area, and proceeded to insult her. Is this true?"

Lucky groaned in annoyance at what Lucy told Ed as he then made sure to explain his side the best he could. "Okay, yes. I did splash and then insult your for some reason that I can't for the life of me comprehend friend." Mayor Ed Pig raised his eyebrow, which Lucky ignored as he continued his explanation. "But the insulting part didn't even come up until she came to us and and demanded we get out of Hiccup Hole, knowing that there was a heat wave going on, and still is. You'd have to be crazy to think I was going to let her ruin mine and my friends fun."

Mayor Ed Pig saw Lucky's perspective, but he wasn't about to let Lucy believe he didn't respect her as a friend. "Now I do understand that mindset Lucky, but I can't just ignore the part you played in all of this." Lucky gave a deadpan look as Ed then made his decree. "I say that the ban will be up to your parents."

Lucky knew that wasn't gonna go in his favor with how his mother insisted on the punishment, so he went for the move Roxie advised him to use. He even gave a sly grin to show that he was kind of enjoying it. "You don't actually believe your followers will respect you if you make that decision, do you?"

Mayor Ed Pig flinched, getting serious as he asked Lucky what he meant by that. "What are you getting at Lucky?"

"Just that this ban now extends to all of the puppies on the farm." Lucky reminded the mayor, and then he continued his explanation while making sure it hit where it hurt. "Do you really think my parents should be in charge of the fun of not only ninety nine Dalmatian puppies, but also a bunch of other dogs on the farm they have no authority over?" Lucky put his paws on Mayor Ed Pig's desk as he laid the final in the coffin. "Face the facts sir. The only one who can help both sides is you." And the final nail in the coffin, was these words right here.

"And I can personally assure you that if me and my friends don't get through this heat wave... (Gives a devious grin) it won't be pretty."

Mayor Ed Pig found himself unable to move. He knew that with Lucky hitting him with the rank card, along with everything else he mentioned, he couldn't take a shortcut with this. Lucky felt that he'd won, and it was confirmed when Mayor Ed Pig spoke after sighing. "Fine. As of this point onward, Lucy can't ban anyone from Hiccup Hole, unless they are disrespectful from the start, and are the ones provoking her. (Lucky beams) And the ban to all of the puppies in Hiccup Hole is now null and void."

"Yes!" Lucky pumped his fist and rushed out of the room after shaking Ed's paw and thanking him for his decision. "Thanks Mayor Ed Pig. You won't regret this!"

Mayor Ed Pig put his elbow on his desk and laid his head on his hoof as he contemplated those words. "I certainly hope not."

Lucky and his friends were at Hiccup Hole, playing and getting refreshing swim time as they wished since the heat wave started. There was also Lucy there, in another part of the pond that was also in the swimming area, but not where all of the puppies were playing. Lucky took notice to this and pointed it out to his friends as he swam over to them while Rolly was preparing a cannonball. "See guys? This is what I'm talking about. If she just left us alone at the start, all of that drama would've been avoided."

"Just try not to rub it in too much Lucky." Patch advised Patch, and then he gave a sly grin as he playfully jabbed at Lucky's ego. "It's worth remembering that your smart mouth is part of why things got as serious as they did."

Lucky laughed a bit while scratching the back of his head, and then Rolly jumped in for his cannonball after making sure he wouldn't land on anyone. "Cannonball!" Lucky, Patch, Two-tone, and some of the other puppies ended up being splashed to shore, leaving Lucky and Patch to start laughing with Two-tone smiling as she shook the water off of her.

The other puppies got back in as Pongo and Perdita arrived with Lucky and Patch noticing them as they stood up and getting worried. While Pongo and Perdita didn't look very stern, Lucky and Patch were still worried as Lucky tried to explain themselves. "Mum, dad, if it's about the comic and everything that's happened since this morning, then-"

Perdita raised her paw to signal Lucky to let her speak, and she then stated what was on her mind. "I spoke to Pongo about it after the ban was lifted, and we came to the conclusion that spoiling your fun would be pointless. And during the discussion, I also realized that I might've been too harsh on you, since while I don't approve of the methods you used to counteract the situation, I should have also considered that none of you started the confrontation."

Lucky and Patch were relieved to hear that with Pongo and Perdita smiling as the former spoke cheerfully. "Now jump in and have some fun in the sun!"

"Gladly!" Lucky and Patch exclaimed, and after doing their signature handshake, the two of them jumped into the pond and got back to playing. Pongo and Perdita simply watched while smiling at the sight of their puppies playing as the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
