Pat Halstead had led his daughter to a warehouse where he currently had his son. Emmy had felt her heart hammering in her chest. Fear and anxiety was flooding through her body. She was terrified not only for herself but for her brother. This happened because of her. Because of her lie. If she had told the truth none of this would be happening and deep down she knew it.

When she saw her brother strung up by chains on his wrists her blue eyes went wide as she ran over to him. "Jay! Jay!"

The young Halstead girl started shaking her brother's pants leg frantically to wake him up. The detective felt something pulling on him, his eyes felt as if they had weights on them he tried hard as hell to try and pry his eyes open his vision was blurry a bit it had taken him a few minutes to clear his vision and he finally managed to open his eyes and he laid eyes on his young sister.

"E...Em...Emmy" He breathed out. "What..what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to save you Jay. I'm sorry, you're in this mess because of me. I swear I didn't mean for it to go this far"

"This wasn't on you"

"Oh yes it was!" Came their father's voice. "And now she's going to tell the truth or" He pulled a gun clocking it, aiming it at them. "Or both of you are finished. Your choice girl"

As weakly as he could, the detective looked down at his sister. "Em, what's he talking about?"

"The night I ran away and I found Will. I lied to you, both of you. What I said about dad telling me to come find you was all a lie. The truth is, I was the one to call the cops on dad and have him busted for what he's been doing. I locked myself in my room and barricaded the door so they couldn't get to me, I climbed out my window and got on my bike and well I left. I went through his things and that's how I found you guys. Will works at Med, you at the 21st. I was planning on going to you till I crashed and screwed up my arm. When I got to the hospital I didn't know if he had anybody watching or listening so I made up the lie about him having me track you guys down. I was scared to tell the truth because he already beat me once about the stuff I saw. I knew if he found out I was the one to rat on him I'd get worse than a beating. I didn't expect him to take you. I'm so sorry Jay"

"And the truth comes out now, was that so hard?" Pat said to his daughter.

She had an evil glare in her blue eyes. "Up yours you old ball sack. I don't regret calling the cops on you"

"How about I make you regret it?"

"I'm already born so that much I regret. I regret being born to a jackass like you. Will and Jay are ten times the men you are. What kind of man beats on his own child? A coward. What kind of man makes his daughter go to sell his product for him? What kind of man makes his daughter pick up his drugs for him?" She knew Will would be listening to this as are the other members of intelligence not to mention her injured brother behind her. This was going to set them all off. "What kind of man injects his drugs into his own daughter like a goddamn lab rat?!" She screamed, tears falling from her eyes.

When Will heard that over the radio he was fired up, now he wanted nothing more than to kill his father but Hank had to hold him back.

"I'm not leaving her in their Hank" Will argued.

"We move in when she says the distress word" Hank told him.

"And if he kills her before then?"

"He's not going to"

"Yeah again you don't know him as well as you think"

"Will please, not yet. You go in and you risk both of them getting hurt or even killed"

With a defeated sigh he sat back and just listened. Emmy just glared viciously at her father with tears falling from her eyes.

"I had enough and refused to let you bully me more so yeah, you're damn straight I called the cops on you. I was tired of being your punching bag and lab rat. Remember that beating you gave me was so bad that you made me stay home from school just so you wouldn't get busted. What you didn't know was that while you were gone those days I was planning on taking you down and you never knew it. I found out everything about Will and Jay. Where they lived, where they worked. Even down to their phone numbers. I could have busted on you at any moment. See what happens when you leave your kids alone they tend to find out secrets" She moved back towards her brother and took his backup gun from his knew her brother always carried a backup. "Just like I know my mom didn't just leave me when I was five. You killed her. You killed my mom!"

"Emmy, don't do it," Jay told his sister. "Put the gun down. Now"

"He killed my mom and told me she left. But there was no way she'd just leave me with no reason. He took my mom, it's only fair if I take his life. An eye for an eye" She held the gun at her father, tears falling from her eyes.

"Em, listen to me sweetheart. Don't stoop to his level. He will pay for what he did. Put if you pull that trigger your life is over. You don't have to do this. Just drop the gun"

"But he..he killed my mom"

"And he will go to jail for it. Drop the gun honey just do it"

She gripped the gun tightly before finally dropping it. Pat had chuckled darkly.

"Stupid girl. Stupid stupid girl"

He made his way towards her and grabbed her, wrapping his upper forearm around her throat while his hand held the gun.

"Ran- Ranger! Ranger!" She cried out, hoping intelligence would be close by.

"Nobody can hear you in here"

"That's what you think"

The doors busted open with the members of intelligence swarming in all their guns drawn. "Chicago Police!"

"Guess I screwed you again dad" Emmy spat at him.

Will had run in and when he saw his brother strung up by chains and his father holding his sister by her throat, but most importantly the gun in his hand he stopped and froze. Both his siblings had been in a great deal of danger. Antonio made sure to block Will from getting seen or worse, injured or killed.

When Pat laid eyes on his oldest son and smirked. "Ah Will, good to see you again son"

"Dad let Jay and Emmy go. You can still walk out of this" Will told his father calmly. As much as Will wanted to go crazy, it would do his siblings no good.

"I can't do that but I will give you a choice. Who are you going to save Jay or little Emmy?"

"Dad put the gun down. Now"

"Not a chance"

"Dad put the damn gun down. I won't say it again"

He kept a hold of his daughter as he aimed his gun at intelligence first and fired a few shots. None of them had a clear shot. Not without putting Emmy in danger. Pat then aimed his gun at Jay and shot him twice and grabbed Emmy running.
