Gruetly Bay Farm Life

Season one Episode nine: A Sudden Swamp Escapade

Rock music started playing for the opening theme, and after a couple seconds, Lucky was shown to be skateboarding out of the barn with a confident smile. "London to Gruetly Bay is kind of a big change! (Patch is shown to be drawing something while sitting under a tree and hi fiving Lucky as he skates by) But Lucky's gonna take it on cause the mission's in range! (Two-tone is shown to be helping the pink pig from the intro with a dress as she waves to Lucky as he skates by) He and his friends are ready for whatever comes their way! (Rolly is shown to be reading a cooking magazine while giving a thumbs up to Lucky as he passes by) And they'll be by each other's side every day!"

Lucky is then shown to be talking to Roxie with the two showing clear feelings for one another. "Romance, (Lucky is shown to be punching a ferret that tries to attack him) action, (Lucky and his friends are shown to be various activities in the Bark Brigade) it doesn't matter! They're gonna work hard to make it better! (Lucky is shown to be punching Mooch right in the jaw) Bullies, (Lucky is shown to be struggling to sit through one of Tibbs' lectures) boredom, they can get through it! (Lucky is shown to be admiring his butt in a mirror before he jumps out the window) And Lucky is the leader who's gonna become most fit!"

The song then finished with the song finishing in an epic rock fashion as Lucky skateboards down the ladder to the window of the barn's top floor. "He's skateboard packed and ego charged! (Lucky is shown giving a sly grin and finger bang to some nearby animals who're annoyed by his ego) Cocky bugger livin' large! (Lucky spots Cruella about to hit one of his siblings) But when danger comes a knockin'; (Lucky saves his sibling and gets out of the way) he's ready for nose popping!"

Lucky and his friends then do their own individual poses with Lucky doing a peace sign, Patch giving a cheerful smile, Two-tone giving a friendly wave, and Rolly patting his stomach. "He's ready to get through the strife, (Lucky and his friends are seen spotting something in the distance) in his new Gruetly Bay Farm, Life!" The screen blows up with it then showing a rat running away with a scarf and dodging an attempt to pin him down from Lucky, running off and then having Lucky give chase, presumably in an attempt to get the scarf back from him.

The railway car Tibbs and Colonel lived in was shown with Colonel heard to be telling a story of his pre-captain days from inside. "And so, we barely managed to get the intel without lives, taking out two final guards before then." Colonel was shown wearing a purple regimental scarf as he showed them the photo he took with Tibbs and some other soldiers on that day. "And after we exposed the Yeti Scammers, we got rewarded with three regimental scarves. As you can see, I'm wearing one right now."

The story was definitely an interesting one, according to Lucky and his friends. Two-tone in particular took quite a liking to it. "You still look smashing in it to this day Colonel." Two-tone then had a thought and looked to Lucky to see if he'd be up for wearing it. "I think I know someone else it'd look good on as well."

Lucky caught onto what Two-tone was getting at, although, he thought it was for a different reason. "Um... T-T, it's be pretty weird if we hooked up."

Two-tone flinched at that idea and gagged at the thought of it for obvious reasons. The others laughed however, and Colonel quickly clarified what Two-tone meant. "Not to worry Lucky. I think I know what Two-tone means."

Colonel offered to let Lucky wear the scarf, and he happily tried it on after he made absolute sure. "Thanks Colonel!" Lucky then went to admire himself in the mirror, and he had to admit that he looked quite smashing indeed. "Crazy to believe that something I look this good in was able to survive in a building sized fire."

As Lucky admired himself, Blake was shown to have trailed off again, and he pointed out something he saw outside the window. "Hey Colonel? How come we never saw that swamp until now?"

Everyone else went over to where Blake was pointing to, and Colonel was quick to explain the situation to them. "That, my friend Blake, is a dangerous swamp. It goes by many names, such as "The Widow Maker", "Satan's Punch Hole", and "El Perdito". The description intrigued Lucky, despite Colonel's warning not to go there. "It's best you avoid this swamp. Many dangerous things lie in there."

Lucky and his friends were heading over to where the swamp was with Patch looking concerned about this. Two-tone, Rolly, Roxie, and Blake were also with them, and due to not wanting anyone to get hurt, Patch reminded Lucky of Colonel's advise. "I don't know about this Lucky. Colonel seemed pretty serious about this swamp."

"That's why we're just getting a look at it from the entrance." Lucky assured Patch, showing that he was smart enough to steer clear of the danger that lied here when he had no reason to go in. "If there's ever a situation where we HAVE to go into the swamp, then we should at least get an idea for what it's about so we don't go in completely blind."

"Well... as long as we aren't going directly inside." Patch advised Lucky with concern, not wanting anyone to get hurt or killed. "Just make sure it's only a peek."

Lucky and the others got a good look at the swamp once they stood by the last patch of grass before the entrance. As he got a good look at it, Lucky started to think about how cool it'd be to have a mission in the swamp. He just wished there were something on the Bulletin Board said something about coming out here. "Too bad no one in the Bark Brigade is a high enough rank for missions beyond a boring D rank."

"Not ALL the D rank missions have been bad Lucky." Rolly chimed in, remembering one D rank mission in particular that he liked. "I was particularly fond of the palette tester."

"You would like that one Rolly." Lucky responded, smirking as he then hit Rolly with a solid strike to the gut; pun intended. "We might as well start calling you donut." Lucky and the others laughed at his joke, and they failed to notice the scarf descending slowly into the swamp water. Lucky caught it just in time once he noticed, and that was when a rat came up from his swim and started using it as a towel. This got on Lucky's nerves, and rightfully so. He pulled the scarf up, annoying the rat as he looked at Lucky as the others noticed him. "Sorry dude. This isn't for dry cleaning."

The rat inspected the scarf from where he stood, and Roxie was quick to make a suggestion about what they should do. "I'm starting to agree with Patch on this one Lucky. We should head back now if the swamp residents can come this close to us."

"Aw, no need for caution there girly." The rat assured Roxie, and then he jumped over Lucky and grabbed the scarf after blinding him with swamp water.

Everyone else was surprised by this with Roxie trying to grab the scarf, only for the rat to bite at her before jumping back into the swamp water. "Thanks for the donation kids!"

The rat made sure not to get the scarf dirty as he swam further into the swamp, leaving Lucky to insult the rat. "You'd better give that back you disease spreading thief!"

Roxie started thinking about what they could so they could avoid the scarf being gone for too long. "Okay, no need to panic. Even with Spot sick, we should be able to-" Lucky then, without thinking, jumped into the swamp water and went after the rat, much to everyone's surprise. "Lucky!?"

Patch sighed in response to this, knowing he couldn't leave Lucky's hasty action unchecked. "I guess we're going in after him!" Patch, Blake, and Roxie jumped in with Two-tone and Rolly staying behind.

Two-tone informed them of their role as she called over to them. "We'll stay behind and keep watch for anyone coming by! Just don't expect us to be near the swamp!" Patch gave a thumbs up to Two-tone, and despite being anxious about this, he knew he couldn't let Lucky do this on his own.

Somewhere in the swamp, Patch, Roxie, and Blake spotted Lucky pounding on the door that was seemingly used for the house of the rat from earlier. "Open up you sleazy little rodent! I'm not leaving until I get that scarf back!"

Patch, Roxie, and Blake arrived to shore with Patch informing Lucky of how crazy his stunt was. "Lucky, you can't just swim into the swamp like that. You could've gotten hurt on the way over here."

"I made absolute sure that I didn't." Lucky assured Patch, and then he pounded on the door again to get the rat's attention. "I'm not saying it again butthead! I'll kick this door down and take the scarf back by force if I have to!"

Patch, Roxie, and Blake weren't sure how this was gonna go, but Blake had to admit that he was excited. "You think he'll do it!?"

"I mean..." Patch started, trying to find a good part to Lucky confronting the rat. "If he does, at least it'll show Lucky isn't scared of confrontation."

Lucky kept pounding on the door until it opened, and the rat was getting angry as he called him out on it. "The name is Swamp Rat, thanks." Swamp Rat then got in Lucky's face as he called him out on how loud he was being. "And I stole that scarf fair and square kid! Beat it!"

"Oh, I'll beat something." Lucky threatened, and then he and Swamp Rat glared into each other's eyes as Lucky made his final offer. "And if you're not interested in seeing what I mean by that, then you'll give me that scarf back and let us leave in peace!"

Roxie was quick to step in, letting Swamp Rat know that Lucky wasn't someone to be messed with. "If I were you Swamp Rat, I'd recommend listening to my friend here."

"We'd like to avoid getting violent if we can however." Patch informed Swamp Rat, and then he gave a nervous smile as he joined them. "So maybe you could please, kindly, give us the scarf back?"

Blake then saw the scarf and started walking towards it as he pointed out that it was there. "That looks easy enough to get."

"Not so fast kid." Swamp Rat advised Blake, stopping him from going into his house as he did, and then he made a deal with Lucky. "Alright kid. You may be annoying and rude, but you also have a lot of guts coming in here for a scarf." Lucky wondered what Swamp Rat was getting at, and the rodent then made his deal. "I'll tell you what. If you can beat me in a little game, then you can have the scarf back. If not, then I just might take something else that's yours." Lucky started tot hink about whether or not he should accept. Could he really trust that Swamp Rat would play fair?

Lucky and the others were in Swamp Rat's house, and as Blake was looking around in awe, Patch was trying to talk Lucky out of this. "Lucky, we have no idea what Swamp Rat can do. We should just tell Colonel and come back here with him."

"And who's to say HE knows what Swamp Rat's about?" Lucky asked Patch, assuring him that he'd be ready to handle whatever it was that Swamp Rat threw at him. "Trust me Patch. I wouldn't have accepted this if I didn't think I could handle it."

Roxie chimed in with an interest in what this was going to be about. "As hyped as I am, just make sure not to take it too far."

Blake was currently looking around, getting a good look around the place, finding that it looked rather cozy for someone who lived alone. He wondered why Swamp Rat had a life like this, since he didn't seem to have any company. "I don't think I'd be able to live alone like this."

"Ya get used to the quiet." Swamp Rat informed Blake, and then he looked to Lucky to see if he was ready for his test. He looked underneath the table before doing so, knowing that he had to do this just right. "Alright kid. I should be just about ready with the test. You ready to lose that scarf?"

Lucky raised an eyebrow in response to that. He was confident that he'd be able to win. "If my 'lose the scarf', you mean get it back and return it to it's rightful owner, then yes. I'm ready." Patch couldn't help looking worried as Lucky walked over to Swamp Rat and gave a confident grin in regards to the challenge. "Hit me with whatever ya got dude. I should at least have a good chance at beating you down."

Swamp Rat found Lucky's confidence annoying, and he was about to make absolute sure that it got shut down. "You'd better hope you can back up that big talk." Swamp Rat put up three trays with lids on them and put them in front of Lucky. He also darted under the table quickly and subtly, making sure Lucky didn't catch on. After revealing all three scarves to Lucky, which were all a different shade of purple, he switched them super quickly and stopped them after five seconds of switching them around. "Alright kid. Your call. Which one is scarf under it?"

Lucky wasn't entirely sure what he expected, but he was confident that he'd make the right call with this one. "Gotta say Swamp Rat. You know your stuff." He kept his confident look as he addressed something that stunned the other three pups. "It's just too bad I already figured out your shtick."

Swamp Rat was caught off guard by that one, but he kept his cool and gave a laugh in response to Lucky's answer. "Why, whatever could you mean kid? One of them is right in front of you!"

"Okay. Then answer me this much." Lucky made his shot towards Swamp Rat, putting his paws on the table as he did. "Why are none of these scarves a normal purple?" Swamp Rat flinched when he heard that, and Lucky then explained what he meant. "There are three different shades of purple for each individual scarf." One by one, Patch, Roxie, and Blake were shown to be amazed by what they saw. "Light purple, dark purple, and indigo."

Swamp Rat tried to deny this, knowing he'd be caught if he fessed up now. "Listen here kid! If you think I'd con you like that, then you've got-"

"And another thing." Lucky interrupted as he put his paw up. He then addressed something else he caught onto rather quickly. "Why did your eyes dart under the table?" Swamp Rat started sweating, knowing that he'd been figured out thanks to Lucky's observation skills. "As far as I'm concerned, you wouldn't have darted under the table like that if one of the scarves was up here." Lucky finished his final fact as he tilted his hat up and then pointed to Swamp Rat. "Instead, you would've darted to one of the trays you set up for me to choose from!"

Swamp Rat couldn't believe that Lucky caught onto him so easily. He didn't think this level of observation could be found in a child. 'Observant little bugger, ain't he.'

Lucky decided to stop playing around and demanded to see the scarf back now that he'd figured Swamp Rat out. "You'd best give it up Swamp Rat."

Swamp Rat caved and pulled out the scarf, handing it to Lucky as Patch walked up to him and patted his shoulder. "How does some of your hasty thinking work out?"

"I dunno. I guess it just does." Lucky admitted, and then he left with his friends after happily accepting the scarf back.

Outside of Swamp Rat's hut, Lucky and his friends were preparing to head home. As Lucky put the scarf back on he had to admit that he was done with said swamp for one day. "Come on guys. Let's get back before anyone finds out we came out here." Just then, a snake slither was heard from nearby, and it caught Lucky and the others off guard. Could there really have been a snake right outside Swamp Rat's hut just now?

Patch suddenly started hugging Lucky's arm, surprising him as Patch then stated why that was. "I'm not so big on snakes."

Lucky was quick to try and calm Patch down by rubbing his head as Roxie then let him know that he'd be okay. "Don't worry Patch. Snakes mainly eat rodents and other kinds of living prey, so we should be safe knowing that this one likely doesn't get hungry for dogs."

Just after Patch said that, a snake was revealed to be on top of Swamp Rat's hut with Swamp Rat revealed to be right next to him while crossing his arms. He nodded to the snake, who dove in right on cue and quickly slithered around the four dogs, wrapping them all up in a bind. As the four dogs were wrapped up, Swamp Rat hopped onto the snake's head as the snake commented on Lucky's victory. "No one your age has ever bested S-s-swamp Rat before. I'd s-s-say to be proud of yours-s-self for that one."

Lucky knew the snake was being disingenuous however, so he simply spat in his face in response. Swamp Rat helped the snake wipe the spit off as he laughed at how dumb Lucky's move there was. "Better be careful there Lucky. Cydne could easily make all four of you croak if he wanted to."

Patch flinched and then froze up when hearing that, leaving Lucky to speak up when he noticed. "You must not care about how bad you'd look after that."

"I'm not looking for a death count, but I can't control Cydne when he gets too angry." Swamp Rat informed Lucky, leaving Cydne to make the signature snake sound as Swamp Rat gave them a warning. "You'd best hand over that scarf before my friend here does his job."

Lucky wasn't quite sure on what to do, but Roxie thought of something and whispered it to Lucky. Since Lucky felt he could pull this off, he decided to play along. "Okay Cydne. Come in closer." Cydne did as Lucky requested, "Closer..." unaware of what exactly he was planning. "Closer..." Once Lucky was close enough however, he quickly opened up Cydne's mouth with his paws and let out a nasty...

UUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRP

...five second burp into Cydne's mouth, causing him to cough and wheeze while letting go of the four canines. Swamp Rat fell to the ground as Cydne let go and coughed, leaving him to call for another friend of his who was nearby. "Come on out Steven! We've got some smart alecks on the run!"

Lucky and the others were swimming out of the swamp entrance when they heard that, and when they did, they were suddenly lifted by a crocodile rising from the swamp water. The crocodile was quick to look back at Lucky and his friends with Lucky complaining about how long this was taking. "Give me a break dude! What kind of value would this scarf even have to you to wast our time this much!? You live in a swamp!"

"You don't just come across a genuine scarf that good looking any day of the week!" Swamp Rat informed Lucky, and then he snapped his fingers, leaving Steven to knock the four canines into the air. Lucky grabbed onto a tree branch just in his reach after spotting it when rising up. He then grabbed onto Patch, who grabbed onto Roxie, who grabbed onto Blake. That was when Blake grabbed the scarf, but he let go when Steven chomped onto it, knowing it would break if he didn't. "Don't tear it now Steven! It'll lose profit if it has hols in it! I can't risk that!"

"Sorry boss." Steven started checking himself out after putting the scarf on, having a mirror on him just in case.

Patch took notice to this and thought up a way to distract Steven to get the scarf back. "Maybe if I-" Just then, the branch broke and cause the four dogs to start falling down to the swamp water. Steven caught them and had them all land on Swamp Rat's land as Swamp Rat got onto Cydne.

Once Swamp Rat knew Steven was close by, Swamp Rat made sure to let the puppies know not to follow him. "You four should get home now if ya don't want triple trouble."

The three baddies then made their leave, but Lucky wasn't giving up. Once they left, he was quick to assure the others of this fact. "You guys up for following them?"

"Believe it or not, I am!" Patch assured Lucky, and then he backed up why with a confident smile. "And I think I have an idea that can help make this job easier."

Lucky and the others arrived to where Swamp Rat, Cydne, and Steven were currently hiding out at. As they arrived at the hideout, which was surprisingly big for someone of Swamp Rat's lifestyle, almost like a one story castle, Swamp Rat was admiring the scarf on Steven. He just knew this would be of great value to him once he made a sale on it. "Just you two wait. Once we get a sale on this bad boy, we'll be swimming in all the stuff we could ever dream of!"

Cydne and Steven loved the sound of that, and Lucky looked to Patch once the group were on shore for his plan. "Alright Patch. Fire away."

"On it." Patch instantly got into action, looking over to Steven, who was liking the way he looked in the scarf. "You see Steven over there?" Lucky, Roxie, and Blake looked over to what Steven was doing, and Patch was quick to back up his question. "I saw him admiring the way he looked in the scarf earlier too. I was thinking I could distract him by offering to make a drawing of him." Patch then finished his plan explanation when he and the others hid. "Although, I don't think I'll be able to get to Steven without help. Anyone have any ideas for how to do that without getting hurt?"

Lucky did have one idea in mind for that, and he was more than ready to act upon it as he let the others know. "Try to follow my lead." Lucky then started sneaking over to the side of the base that Swamp Rat, Cydne, and Steven were on. Roxie and Blake didn't expect his limited explanation there, but they were quick to follow up on it with Roxie signalling Blake to follow her. He did so, and Patch then started to execute his part of the plan.

As Lucky was sneaking over to the side he needed to go to, Patch was spotted by Swamp Rat, and he spoke up just in time. "I'm not here for the scarf." Patch took out his sketchbook and pen in an attempt to distract the three. "I was hoping Steven wouldn't mind letting me... sketch him?"

Steven started to think about the offer, questioning Patch about it as Swamp Rat looked at him to see what he'd do. "You and your friends seemed persistent in getting this scarf back from Swamp Rat. How do I know you won't do it this time too?"

As Roxie and Blake were sneaking around, Blake caught sight of something nearby and trailed off as Patch continued his persuasion. "My friends aren't anywhere near here." When Blake went over to what caught his attention, Roxie took notice to it and scampered over to him quietly. "You have nothing to worry about."

Steven started to consider his decision just as Blake showed Roxie what he found, which looked like a shiny rock. Blake thought it looked cool, but Roxie had another plan in mind. "Maybe we can use this to our advantage."

Steven decided to take Patch up on his offer, and just as he did, Lucky arrived right up to Cydne with a vine he grabbed from nearby. "Why not kid?" Seeing that Patch's plan to distract Steven worked, Lucky pumped his fist and felt even more confident about his part of the plan working. "Even if you were planning something, I could eat you in five seconds anyway."

Patch then got started on the sketch now that he had Steven's attention with Lucky tying the vine to a nearby pole. Once he was sure to have it tightly tied on, he snuck over to Cydne and tied it to him quickly upon jumping up. Swamp Rat caught sight of this and was quick to call him out on it once he tied up Cydne. "Steven; your modeling session is a setup! (Steven looks to Swamp Rat) Get the horseshoe spotted brat!"

Lucky jumped off the stage after having tied Cydne up, barely managing to avoid his bite before running out of his reach. Good thing it was a sturdy pole. Steven tried to chase after him next, and Swamp Rat grabbed the scarf from him to make sure it didn't get damaged. "Don't hurt the merchandise!" Just then, Roxie threw the rock into Swamp Rat's view, and due to the color, he mistook it for something else. The glow of a similar looking gem appeared in his eyes as he went over to it. "Is that a sapphire!?"

Patch seized the opportunity and tackled Swamp Rat to the ground and grabbed the scarf. "Sorry for the violence, but you stole from us first!" Patch ran over to Roxie and Blake, making sure to avoid Cydne as he complimented their tactic. "Good call using that rock! Let's go help Lucky!"

Lucky was evading Steven's attacks the best he could, and he spotted a stick nearby that could be able to help him. He dove for it while evading one of Steven's strikes, and when Steven came for him again, he jumped up and used one of his paws to slide down Steven's skin. Steven then threw him up with his tail, only for Lucky to grab onto a branch that he got launched up to. As Steven started snapping at him, Lucky spotted his friends nearby. With clear fear in his eyes for what could happen to them, Lucky felt Steven ram the tree he was on to get him to come down.

Lucky acted quickly when he looked at the stick he had on him, jumping down and timing his next move just right. When Steven attempted to bite at him, with Patch, Roxie, and Blake looking in shock, Lucky put the stick right into Steven's jaw. This caught him off guard as Lucky then used the stick as a catapult to jump over to where his friends were. Sighing with relief as they ran off, Patch made a request to Lucky in regards to what he just did. "Lucky, please; don't scare me like that again."

"No promises." Lucky responded as he accepted the scarf back, wrapping it around his neck as Swamp Rat lunged down at him. Swamp Rat attempted to pin Lucky to the ground, only for Lucky to be fed up with him and slam him to the ground himself and start punching him. "God; what makes you back off!?"

"Getting what I want!" Lucky heard Steven snap the stick nearby, swatting Swamp Rat to the side as he attempted to scratch at him, but failed. He rejoined his friends with Swamp Rat calling out to him as Steven checked to see if he was okay. "You four can't keep that scarf on you forever!" Lucky blew a raspberry at Swamp Rat as Steven gave him a cloth for the bruises on his face. "Thank you kindly Steven." Swamp Rat and Steven then went over to Cydne, who got free from the vine after enough struggle. "Why did you take so long to get out of that trap? Ya don't even have bones."

"Believe it or not, the tightest knot can trap any creature." Cydne explained, and then he asked Swamp Rat if they should go after Lucky and his friends again. "Should we go after the kids for the scarf?"

"Bah, let em keep it." Swamp Rat sat down and wiped his forehead, being completely tuckered out from the tenacity of Lucky and his friends. "They ain't worth it right now. Especially that horseshoe spotted pup; that kid is trouble!" Swamp Rat then lied down on his back as he thought about how he failed to hold onto the scarf.

Lucky and the others arrived back to shore with Two-tone and Rolly there waiting for them, showing immense joy at the sight of them making it back unharmed. Once they got there, Lucky was quick to apologize to the other three who joined him after they all shook the water off of them. "I'm sorry you three almost got hurt back there." Patch, Roxie, and Blake looked at Lucky as he expressed clear remorse for putting them in danger. "Unless a mission calls for it, or if one of them captures someone I care about, or whatever, I'm staying away from this swamp."

Roxie was quick to compliment Lucky for his bravery as he took a step closer and spoke up about his role. "For what it's worth, I think you pulled through in spite of that." Lucky didn't expect Roxie to be praising him like that, and Roxie then pointed out some of the stuff Lucky did today. "And I wouldn't call outsmarting Swamp Rat or escaping Steven's jaws any small feat."

Lucky smiled in response to Roxie's praise as Patch then pointed out how insane the adventure was. "Just make sure to give us a heads up the next time you throw yourself directly into harm's way."

Lucky laughed a bit before giving Patch a thumbs up in response, leaving Two-tone to come to realization about something. "Hey guys?" The others looked at Two-tone as she explained what she just figured out. "It just occurred to me that Colonel and Tibbs have a direct view of the swamp. They might've already figured out we went in."

"You mean WE went in." Blake corrected as he pointed to himself, Lucky, Patch, and Roxie. "You and Rolly just stood watch."

"I think she means we all went here when we weren't supposed to Blaze." Rolly pointed out.

"Ah." Blake then nodded his head in response once he had a more clear meaning of Two-tone's wording. "Yeah, that makes more sense."

Lucky was quick to assure the others that they would all be able to avoid something too harsh. "Don't worry guys." Lucky walked on ahead with the others following from behind to see what he had in store. "I know Colonel would never try to go all Pug on us. No wind sprints for my team today!"

Roxie could never help admiring Lucky's confidence, and she whispered to Patch in response to it. "I can see why you look up to him." Patch giggled a bit after hearing that. Thankfully, no one else paid any attention to it.

Inside Colonel's train car, he was currently talking to Lucky and his friends about what they did, and he wasn't very happy about it. "So four of you went into the swamp, and two of you stood guard nearby to make sure they didn't get caught?"

Patch was quick to confirm this with a nod, and after he spoke up about the situation, Lucky pointed over to the fridge, which Colonel nodded yes to him in response to. "We didn't intend on disrespecting you Colonel."

"Oh, I'm well aware Patch." Colonel assured Patch, having gotten to know Lucky and his friends quite a bit. He still asked why things happened the way they did after Lucky grabbed a cherry soda from his fridge. "Still. Why did you disregard my advice?"

Lucky butt bumped the fridge door to close it and went over to Colonel to explain the situation. "Well at first, we were just gonna get a good look at it for the sake of future missions we might have. Then this rat butthead named Swamp Rat came along and stole your scarf, and some of the stuff we did to get it back was pretty crazy. Especially when Cydne and Steven got involved."

"All three of them!?" Colonel exclaimed, being amazed to hear that these cadets held all three of them off. "Did you manage to escape unharmed?"

Lucky nodded his head yes proudly with Blake pointing out another benefit to the situation. "And we kept your scarf in mint condition as a bonus!"

Colonel was quick to turn around and open up this box that had the other two scarves lying inside of it. Lucky and the others were surprised by this, and as Colonel put one of the scarves on, he went over to the group to explain what he was trying to tell them. "A scarf can be replaced my friends. You, can't." Lucky opened up his soda and started sipping it as Colonel continued. "Tibbs and I will think of a suitable punishment for you later today."

"I think being harassed by swamp animals all afternoon was punishment enough." Lucky snarked after finishing his first gulp of soda. After letting out a nasty burp into his paw, he started to wonder what Swamp Rat's motivation was the whole time. "What could Swamp Rat have needed that scarf for anyway?"

"Most likely for money." Colonel suggested, knowing full well what Swamp Rat is capable of. "Swamp Rat is a well known con artist on the farm. He can swipe anything, and use it to his advantage for anything he desires."

Lucky had to admit, that sounded about right. He also felt they'd be encountering Swamp Rat again soon. "Then something tells me this won't be the last we see of him; pardon the cliche."

Patch flinched at the thought of facing Swamp Rat again, mostly because of one particular henchmen from him that caught his ire. "Let's hope Cydne doesn't come to his aid next time." As Patch shuddered at the thought of facing Cydne again, the screen faded to black, ending the episode off.

An instrumental version of the main theme played during the credits.
