A/N: Hmmm… So, I don't think that I made it too obvious, but here goes. Since this has been a very popular question in the reviews, I'll address it directly.

Arizona is twenty-two years old, I think I wrote it in the first chapter where Callie calls the blonde immature as she stumbles in drunkenly making out with some random woman.

And Callie is twenty-four, I mentioned it in chapter four. She was engaged at twenty-two and lost her fiancé Erica right about that time. Which is why it bothers her that Arizona is being so reckless, when she lost everything at that age.

So yes, Callie is two years older than her. I guess that answers the question about their age perfectly?

Okay, so no one got the nugget, not even one of them. So the postal code was the date Calzona got married May 5th 2011. The other nugget… I feel like its a bit stupid, yes I'm talking about the nugget that has been going on since chapter one, yes it is in this chapter as well. I'll let you guys know what it is when someone, at least one person gets it. My hint would be to read the chapters closely. It's right there!

Okay, long author's note over, here you go!

Chapter 5

Arizona Robbins was not a writer, but the past few months would tell you something otherwise. They have been writing to each other for months, sure they would have to wait for a week or two between them, but it somehow seemed worth it.

Arizona had kept her promise and sent her a package filled with chocolate chip cookies. She told her how she had baked brownies or well tried to but they had turned out to be too weird and didn't want to poison her.

The last letter that Arizona had written to her was about her plans for taking a break from painting and that her friends had gotten about five days off from college and were planning about going somewhere. They said that they were torn between Miami or Flagstaff and Arizona was opposed to both. She knew that her friends only suggested Flagstaff, because haha, that's in Arizona and she did not want to spend five days being the butt of all jokes. Whereas with Miami, she knew that it was Callie's hometown and wanted to explore it with the Marine instead of her friends. That was the last letter she had written to her.

The one thing that the blonde didn't know was that Callie was going to make her wish come true. The Captain had finally gotten some time off and was going to surprise her in Miami. She had even asked the blonde's brother to confirm with his father that the girls were indeed going there, the rest was to figure out the itinerary. Callie had convinced Sargent Robbins and another one of her colleagues, Sargent Avery to join along with them.

According to Danny, Arizona would be on the beach with the maximum number of hot chicks and with that information Callie wasn't sure if she was thankful that her brother knew her that well or get a little jealous that he was right. Miami was Miami. It was known for all the hot babes, drinking and partying.

It had been months since they had last met, like in person and not exchanged letters, and the sea was a bit lonely to her. Even though she refused to admit it, she had been missing Arizona a bit too much for her own liking.

And with that Callie along with the two boys took off for Miami. The brunette knew that south beach was a giant area and she didn't want to straight up ask Arizona for her address, so she knew she had to play it by the ear and play it right.

After they dropped off the luggage at the hotel -Did she even need a hotel room? She was probably going to spend the whole time with Arizona wherever she wanted to be- the boys and she quickly changed into their beach wear.

"Captain Torres, I don't mean to be crude but you look hot!" Jackson said as he and Danny walked into her room with their swimming trunks.

Callie was dressed in a red bikini that not only flaunted her curves but showed off her muscles that came with being in the marines. That along with her naturally tan skin was a deadly combination. One she was sure would have Arizona drooling within minutes, if not seconds.

"She can still whoop your ass Avery!"

"You got that right!" Callie said. "You boys ready to hit the beach?"

"Yes."

After taking a little swim each, Danny decided that they should sneak up on his little sister. Callie had been counting the seconds until he suggested that. She still wasn't sure if he knew about her and his sister hooking up and by the looks of it, he clearly didn't. There was nothing to know about, they weren't dating or anything. They slept together one night and exchanged letters, but that was about it. Nothing to think about here.

"So Captain, I was thinking I would ask her where she was."

Callie thought about it. Arizona would not buy into that plan for a bit. She was too smart for it. Moreover, she wanted to see the surprised reaction of Arizona's face and not make her presence known beforehand. "No, no, no, try this instead. Tell her that you are back, that you are at home and that you are wondering where she is."

"But she told me that she would be in Miami."

"Yes, but play it as you got the dates mixed up or timed your visit wrong."

"What! That would make me look stupid."

Callie raised her eyebrows. "Not you too, Captain!"

"That's the only thing she'd believe and then ask her if she's comfortable." The brunette thought for a second. "Oh oh oh and then tell her to give you the name of her hotel so you could get her like bottle service or something?"

"I don't know."

"We just need the name of the hotel right? She and her friends wouldn't go too far from then hotel,"

Danny thought about it. "True." And proceeded to dial her number. He excused himself to go talk to Arizona privately, something that Callie had not anticipated.

But it was okay, she would be meeting Arizona soon and that was good enough to keep her going. After a few minutes, Danny came back to their spot at the beach.

"Arizona said that she was somewhere called North Avenue Villas?"

"Oh, that's not too far from here," Callie replied as she got up from her beach chair and put on her cover up. Her hair was still wet, so she tried to dry it a bit with a towel. While the side of her head was good, the top part of her hair where she had some length, had curled up a bit and had come back to its original waves, no thanks to Miami's humidity.

"Let's get going then?" Danny asked as the three of them took off.

After walking for about ten minutes they spotted the three girls on the beach, each of them lying on their own chairs.

Callie's eyes immediately took in the blonde. She had her eyes closed and was lying underneath an umbrella. Her blonde hair was curly, way curly that she had ever seen it becoming and she just wanted to bury her fingers in it. Plus with the way the light seemed to hit it, it looked almost golden.

Moreover, Arizona was wearing a nice baby blue bikini and had a straw hat on her face, keeping the harsh rays of the sun away with her earphones plugged into her ears.

This should be fun, Callie thought. She asked the nearby kids if she could borrow their buckets for a bit. She quickly made her way to the water before filling both of them with sea water and handed them to Danny and Jackson.

"Alright, drop these on her when I tell you okay?" she whispered.

The two nodded.

Callie quietly tiptoed and stood in front of the blonde before turning around to face the beach, effectively blocking Arizona from all the sunlight, while the boys went and stood behind her, by her chair.

The blonde removed the hat and earphone from her ears. "Do you mind?" she said as she snapped her fingers, trying to get the attention of the woman in front of her.

Suddenly, the woman in front of her turned around. Arizona couldn't believe it. "Oh my god!"

Before she could get up from her chair and pull her into a hug. Callie looked behind the blonde's chair. "Now!"

And suddenly two buckets of water were poured on the Artist. "What the- Danny?" She said as she looked behind her.

Danny pulled a face at her before he took off running as his sister started chasing him. "I can't believe you!" She screamed, but Danny was way faster. It seemed like every time she closed some distance he turned towards a new direction and took off running faster.

Callie took in the whole scene in front of her. The Robbins siblings seemed so joyful contrary to the last time she had seen them. The last time she was at their house, it seemed like the two of them couldn't be in the same room without yelling at each other and calling them names. This was a welcome change and she was happy for her contribution in it. Soon enough the two of them got tired and returned back. Arizona was punching Danny in the arm as he apologized to her, but she could tell that he didn't really mean it.

Callie awkwardly just stood there and watched her. It felt nice to watch her smile to watch her laugh as she hugged her brother one more time.

"Arizona, it was all Captain's idea!" He said.

"Thanks for ratting me out Sargent, remind me to make sure he runs extra drills when we get back."

It was as if a bulb went off in the blonde's head. Callie was here. Callie was finally here for god knows how long and she had spent the first few minutes chasing her stupid brother up and down the beach.

Suddenly, she didn't know why but she was nervous. Yes, they had already had sex and talked about a thing or two through their letters but it was different when the person was standing in front of you and not miles apart. And also, Callie had gotten her off. She had not even seen the brunette naked let alone touch her.

Callie sensed her awkwardness and spoke up "Don't I get a hug too?" she asked. "I mean do you remember me? I spent Memorial day weekend at your house?" Callie teased knowing fully well that she did remember her.

"Oh right, Captain Torres, remember?" Danny chimed in.

"Yes, how can I forget," Arizona said as she leaned in for a hug and whispered in her ear. "I was asked to be a good girl so that I don't get taken over your knee. Isn't that right Calliope?"

The brunette looked around to check if anyone heard them. She didn't know that Arizona had upped her flirtatious game, what were the people at her art retreat doing? She knew the stereotype about being hippies, but this Arizona was new to her. Also, she called her Calliope. No one called her Calliope and got away with it, probably just her dad, but there was something about the way she said that made her like her name. Like she was seeing her name in a new light and actually liking it. The way it seemed to roll off of her tongue so effortlessly.

As soon as they parted, the blonde introduced them to her friends.

"This is April and Teddy, both of them were my classmates turned best friends, they are finishing up their final year of school," she said as she pointed out to the two of them.

"Well, I'm Danny, Arizona's brother and this is Sargent Avery and Captain Torres."

Callie turned to him. "We are on vacation, so you can call me Callie and this is Jackson," she said as all of them shook their hands. The brunette watched Arizona rolling her eyes. Yes, she knew that even on vacation she referred the two boys by their titles but it was just the Marine in her. Apparently, that part of her doesn't shut off when she's on break. But yes, she didn't expect to be called Captain by civilians.

"I'm going to go get us some shots," Callie said as she saw Danny ogling Teddy and Jackson inching closer to April. Looks like the boys were going to have fun on their vacation. Maybe enough fun that she could get the blonde alone and not feel guilty about hogging all of her time. "Miss Robbins? Help me carry them out?" she asked.

"Sure."

The blonde followed her and finally took her appearance in. The slightly damp wavy hair, those curves, those muscles, that skin. She wanted to kiss her so badly. Callie could feel eyes on her so she purposefully swayed her hips a bit more.

Once they reached the bar counter, Callie ordered a round for all of them. "Miss Robbins, how have you been?"

"Calliope, I'm doing great! This was a pleasant surprise, why didn't you tell me!" She said as she punched her arm.

"And ruin this giant smile, no way!"

"This smile would have been the same," the blonde argued.

"But then Sargent Robbins wouldn't have been able to get you wet."

Arizona leaned in closer towards the Latina. "Calliope, I was already wet when I saw you."

Yup, they were definitely mixing something in the waters at this art retreat the blonde had visited. This was not the Arizona she knew but she was enjoying it much more.

"Do you want to do a shot here? Before we get there? Callie asked.

"Sure."

Arizona took her shot glass in her hand and was about to put salt on her hand when the brunette stopped her. "In Miami, we do shots a bit differently."

"How?" She asked innocently.

Callie bent down and lightly licked the alabaster skin of her collarbone before sprinkling some salt on it. Not that she had to since Arizona already drenched from being doused in water, but she couldn't help herself. She wanted to taste that skin as soon as possible. The sun had done her good. Callie picked up a lemon wedge and put it in the blonde's mouth as her fingertips brushed her lips ever so slightly.

She then downed the shot in her hand before licking Arizona's collar bone and leaning in to take the lemon wedge from her mouth. She saw Arizona's eyes closing before she took the lemon from the lips as her teeth lightly grazed and bit those red lips.

"You want to try it out?" She asked.

The blonde nodded as she immediately leaned in and kissed Callie hard on her lips. The Captain felt her tongue entering her mouth, trying to assert dominance. Emphasis on trying. There was no way she would be dominated, not this soon anyway. Arizona pulled her in closer as her hands tugged on the back of her head pulling her impossibly closer.

They pulled apart and the blonde downed a shot, not bothering to chase it with a lemon or salt.

"I think you messed up the order a bit Sugar lips."

The blonde felt a wave of relief washing over her, hearing the blonde calling her that. Something, she didn't know she had been dying to hear until that moment.

"What are you going to do about it? For someone who keeps on threatening to spank me, I'd love to actually see if you are capable of doing so," Arizona teased.

The Captain immediately pulled her in for a kiss as her hands immediately went to the blonde's butt. She squeezed both of her cheeks before sharply hitting one. Callie perfectly timed it with biting her lower lip that the blonde jumped in her arms.

"Don't tempt me Sugar lips," she said as she picked up two short glasses and handed them to Arizona before picking two herself and walking towards the beach, leaving her dumbfounded.

She knew one thing for sure and that was that her break had suddenly gotten a lot more fun.

"One kiss and she has me wrapped around her finger, I need to get a grip on myself," she said before heading out to join their group of friends.

A/N: So, do you guys like how shots are done in Miami? Because I do!

How was it? Let me know if you liked it? Also, what do you think will happen in the next chapter? One word, drama…
