Chapter 4
It didn't take long until the ki blast started to fly. Vegeta dodge while I flew towards Freeza knocking his ki blast away. The earthlings went to hide Dende somewhere safe. Can't have our white mage die on us after all.
I went for a punch but Freeza ducked under it and shoved a orb of ki into my chest blasting me away. Gohan and krillan came out of hiding and launched masenkos and kamehamehas at Freeza gaining his attention. Freeza fired a ki blast at them over powering their beams forcing them to dodge out of the way.
While Freeza was distracted with the earthlings I began to power-up. See I don't have 2 extra forms like Freeza since I had less power. I only needed 1 which was similar to his first form. I transformed into my final form bringing me moderately above Freeza second form.
Rushing back into battle I lashed out with a superman punch launching Freeza into a mountain. Quickly charging up a ki blast I launched it at him. Turning back towards the earthlings I told them to protect Dende at all cost. They nodded and flew back to Dendes hiding place.
Nodding at Vegeta we both blasted off towards Freeza. He was in the middle of transforming into his second form when we arrived.
"I go above you below!"
Vegeta swept Freeza's feet from under him and immediately after I kneed him in the face launching the tyrant into the sky. Freeza finished his transformation only to see 2 large beams closing in on him he dodge out of the way only to get knocked down by me.
"We weren't fast enough, go get a boost then come back!"
Vegeta scowled at me and reluctantly went to get a zenkai boost.
'Why didn't they take advantage of this in the show? After a couple of zenkais Vegeta could've taken on Freeza alone….'
I shook my head and focused back on Freeza. He tried to talk but before he could open his mouth I launched myself at him. He caught my fist and threw me onto the ground. I rolled out of the way of a punch he launched and used the shockwave to launch myself back onto my feet.
Freeza lashed out with another punch but I blocked it with my forearm. The clash shook the ground causing rocks to fly up. I knocked his arm away and tried to kick his head. He ducked under it and tried to gourd me with his horns on his head. I grabbed onto them and started to swing him around. When I released him he went flying into the Namekian ocean.
'I should've brought enough time for Vegeta to arrive'
Just in time Vegeta appeared and launched a move that looks eerily similar to the final flash at the ocean destroying it.
'Yep he's definitely stronger now. I guess his zenkai scales him up to the strongest being he could sense which would be me right now. I'll worry about that later.'
"Did you get him?"
"No, not even close.."
Freeza launched out of the dried ocean in his 3rd form. Looking absolutely livid.
'Goddammit! Why can't he be stupidly cocky like he was in the show!'
"I admit that the both of you are strong but now all of you will face the consequences of defying me! Including you Kuriza!"
Freeza launched a barrage of death beams at us forcing us to separate. He closed in on Vegeta and tried to take his head off in one clean swing. Vegeta blocked his hit with a smirk and threw one of his own. While they were clashing while moving from spot to spot I went to check up on the earthlings.
"You guys alright? things were getting pretty heated out there."
"Yeah we're alright. How's the fight going?" Krillan asked
"Surprisingly smooth. Although If he transforms into his final form we might be out of luck…"
"He has another form?!!!"
"Yes sadly, and before you ask no I don't have another form. This is my final form." 'For now at least.'
Krillan began to laugh "We probably won't need you to transform again. If you and Vegeta keep up what you are doing piccolo will arrive. Then we'll win in no time."
"Hey guys…" we turned towards a terrified Gohan. "I think he just transformed again. You gotta get back into the fight Kuriza, he's about to tear Vegeta apart!"
"Dammit! How long until your Namek friend arrives?"
"Uhh, about 5 minutes." Gohan said
"Great, support us if it looks like we are getting overwhelmed. Krillan be ready to launch a destructo disk and wait for my signal. Dende be ready to heal us Incase things don't work out. Always be on the move In case frieza decides to blow up an area he thinks you're in." After I gave my instructions I blasted off to help Vegeta.
Freeza was choking him with his tail while punching him in his kidneys. I formed a ki blade and sliced through his tail and kick Vegeta towards where the earthlings we're hoping they would heal him.
"My tail!! You insignificant little brat! I never should have listened to my father!!"
'Huh?'
"What do you mean?" I asked causing Freeza to scowl at me.
"You would've never been born if it wasn't mandatory for the next ruler of the planet trade organization to have a heir."
'Well damn……. not going to lie that stung a little but I'm trying to kill him so I guess this makes us even?'
Freeza capitalized on me being destracted and launched a death beam at me It peirced my chest. I fired back a couple death beams in retaliation but he either swiped them away or straight up tanked them.
'I should've finished him off when he was in first form…'
Freeza finally got the upper hand and I won't have Vegeta to back me up this time. Wait I still have my assist.' Smiling I rushed Freeza and we started to exchange blows in a fast manner. Shock waves rocked the planet everytime our blows connected. Freeza was winning most of our exchanges. 5 minutes past of me slowly but surely losing to Freeza. Each blow he delivered making my wounds worse.
Finally Vegeta came back to help more powerful than ever.
"Hey Freeza, you're not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior anymore, I prince Vegeta, have finally become... the legendary Super Saiyan! HAHAHAHA!!!"
A Vegeta drunk on power………...this isn't gonna end well.
"Finally, now we can take him down once and for all."
"No…" I turned towards Vegeta in confusion only to see him blast me away with a ki wave. "I'll take care of him myself. After that I'll be the strongest in the universe!!"
Freeza seethed "Vegeta what makes you think you can hold a candle to me. I just took care of you a few minutes ago. Matter a fact." Freeza turned towards where he last saw the earthlings and atomized the area with a ki blast. "There no more tricks anymore. Now come and face your death monkey!!"
Vegeta charged at Freeza starting their brawl. They were evenly matched from what I could see. Seeing as Freeza did a lot of damage to me I slowly made my way to were the earthlings last hid. Luckily my plan worked and Freeza doesn't know their exact location.
"You mind *cough fixing this for me?"
"KURIZA?!" They all yelled. Dende quickly ran towards me and started to heal me. Little guy seems almost tuckered out. Maybe we can give him a sensu bean when Goku arrives?
"Your healed now what happened?"
"Vegeta seems to have gotten drunk on power." I pull myself into Indian criss cross style. "This is probably his biggest increase in power yet. Hopefully post zenkai clarity is a thing…"
I turned my head towards the fight. Freeza and Vegeta were still going at it with Vegeta taunting Freeza every other exchange.
"If this keeps up he will give Freeza time to transform again and if that happens there will be no amount of planning we can do to overcome the power difference. We need to end this now….." I muttered
"Post zenkai clarity? What's that a reference to?" Gohan asked Dende who shrugged just as confused as Gohan.
"Ah erm piccolo will tell you when your older Gohan."
"Speaking of which, is he close?" Krillan closed his eyes and got excited.
"Looking for me?" Right there in the sky above us was piccolo. Cap flapping in the wind.
"Mister Piccolo!!"
"Piccolo aren't we glad to see you. We need your help to finish off Freeza." Krillan explained what happened so far and turned towards me "Do you got another plan Kuriza?"
I grabbed my chin in a thinking pose. 'Father has 1 transformation left Dende is practically dead on his feet so we can't count on abusing zenkai boost anymore either.' I turned towards the z fighters "Do any of you have a technique that can paralyze someone?"
"I might have something. What have you thought up?"
I smiled.
"Give me the run down on your abilities."
Vegeta
'I've never felt so powerful in my life. I can go toe to toe against Freeza. The demon in my nightmares the one that genocided my people. I can finally get revenge!' Vegeta thought while exchanging blows with Freeza. 'I am finally a super Saiyan!!!'
Suddenly was Freeza was blasted away by a purple beam and Kuriza stood in front of him.
"Get out of my way. I don't need you or the earthlings help anymore runt!" Vegeta tried to move past him but Kuriza wouldn't let him.
"Listen Vegeta, I know you got a lot of beef with father but you can't keep toying around with him. The earthlings and I have came up with a plan to finish him off. We need your cooperation..." Vegeta didn't listen and blasted Kuriza away again. Hell-bent on facing Freeza alone now that he has the power to do so.
"Well, I tried, GUYS PLAN B"! I yelled. The Krillan and piccolo sent out a 2 multi form clones of themselves towards Freeza. Vegeta obviously wanting to finish the fight by himself started to attack the clones. The battle quickly became a 3 team free for all. With Vegeta and Freeza well distracted I started phase 2. Krillan and another multi form clone started to charge up a super distructo disk while piccolo and his multi form clone each started to charge up a attack. One a special beam Canon and one a weird blue beam. I signaled for Gohan to follow me and got closer to the free for all.
I signaled for him to begin his part of the plan.
"HEY IDIOTS DONT COUNT US OUT YET SOLAR FLARE!" Vegeta closed his eyes recognizing the tactic which is what we were counting on. it was a bluff to get him to drop his guard. Quickly the Krillan and piccolo clones rush Vegeta. Krillan grabbed his arms and piccolo fired off his antenna beam stunning Vegeta. Turning towards Gohan I signaled him to do it towards Frieza but for real this time.
"Solar flare!" This time Freeza was clutching his eyes and screaming. "NOW PICCOLO!!"
The piccolo clone that was charging the beam fired it at Freeza now this wouldn't usually damage Freeza especially a beam by a severely weakened piccolo from the multi form technique but it wasn't just a normal beam. "EVIL CONTAIMENT WAVE!!"
Freeza was caught in the blast unable to sence the beam hurling towards him. Piccolo eventually redirected the beam towards the empty container that used to hold rejuvenation chamber liquids. Gohan quickly put its lid onto it.
"Hurry that won't hold him for long!" Piccolo yelled his clone rejoined with him after his job was done.
"Send out your strongest attacks at the bottle!!!"
Right as the bottle broke releasing Freeza who seemed to have transformed into his 100% form. Piccolo, Gohan and I launched our strongest attacks.
"SPEICAL BEAM CANON!!"
"MASENKO!!"
"EVISCERATION WAVE!!!"
Freeza seeing the beams coming towards him launched a death wave at us. Our combined beams clashed with his. The beams were even for a second before Freeza started gaining on ours.
"I admit you lot has impressed me by being able to push me this far but this farce has gone on for far too long NOW DIE LIKE THE INSANIFICANT WORMS THAT YOU ARE!!"
'It's do or die now.'
Freeza beam began to engulf ours. It would've completely overtaken us if it wasn't for Krillan.
"Destructo disk!" The clone sent off his charged destructo disk then rejoined with the original. Freeza jumped over the disk and turned to Krillan.
"You iritating fly!!!" Sending a death wave at Krillan hoping to take him out. The beam was blocked by another familiar beam. Gohan and I redirected our beam after Freeza jumped over Krillans attack. With Krillan protected and Freeza's attention back onto us. he went in for a melee attack only to be stopped by 2 arms coming from out of the ground. While Gohan and I was redirecting our beams so Krillan won't get atomized piccolo used his stretchy arms to bury his hands into the ground waiting for a chance to restrict Freeza.
"W-what?!!" Freeza said looking down at the hands grabbing his feet.
"Antenna beam!!" Piccolo fired 2 beams from his antenna stunning Freeza. While Freeza was paralyzed Krillan finally unleashed his super destructo disk barrage which was just multiple longer destructo disks. He sliced Freeza in half then horizontally then side ways. It continued until Freeza was cut into a medium sized cubes.
"Is it over?" Krillan asked exhausted. He must've used all of his ki for that barrage
"No, our race is extremely resilient something like this could be fixed with a quick dip into a rejuvenation chamber. We have to atomize him." I said while raising my hand.
Me and the z fighters made quick work of whatever was left of Freeza.
"W-we did it? I can't believe it!!! Wait until the others hear about this!" Krillan then looked towards me "Er sorry you couldn't get your wish bud. if you would like you could wait a year and wish on our dragon balls after we revive our friends."
"Nah it's good there's no reason now…" I stared disappointed at the ashes of my father. "I was hoping that I could wish him into being a better person but things escalated too fast for me to do so."
"Oh we're sorry." Gohan said while staring at the floor. I walked over and Pat his head "It's not you guys fault it probably wouldn't have worked anyway." I turned towards the still repeatedly paralyzed Vegeta. "What do we do with Vegeta? I doubt he's gonna be happy with us stealing his kill…."
Krillan looked conflicted "he helped us a lot here but he did order the death of our friends." He looked to the side "I say we deal with him now so he won't become a threat in the future…"
Gohan looked down and muttered "I think we should knock him out and the leave the planet."
Piccolo was staring hard at Vegeta deep in thought before saying.
"I believe we should take him with us to earth."
"WHAT!?! you can't be serious piccolo!!"
"Think about it. Now that his life goal of Killing Freeza is completed he has nothing else to strive for except." Krillan face brightened up finally understanding what piccolo was saying. "Your betting on his rivalry with Goku to add another powerful Ally to earth!" Krillan yelled
"Exactly, Goku already converted former enemies into friends maybe he can do it to Vegeta too."
They all nod.
"Now who's gonna give the news to Vegeta that Freeza is dead?" Gohan dissapared hastyly saying he's going to check on Dende and krillan did the same but for Bulma leaving only me and piccolo. He turns to me.
"Are you planning to come to earth with us?" He asked
I looked toward my hands in thought. I really don't have anything left in the planet trade organization and now that Freeza dead Cooler my uncle is gonna be the next head until I become of age which isn't as likely as him killing me as soon as I return. I still need to clean up the mess my father made of the universe though.
"Do you guys have spacecraft on earth?"
"Only recently…"
I do need a base of operations. Somewhere I can rest easy knowing someone won't try to poison me or kill me in my sleep. And from what little time I had with them the earthlings seem alright. I clench my fist then looked into piccolos eyes.
"It looks like I'm with you guys for the long haul." I shake piccolos hand.
A ship arrived in orbit with a capsule Corp logo.
"Seems like our rides here."
It took awhile but Goku eventually calmed down the livid Vegeta mostly by being his punching bag for a couple of hours. But hey look at the bright side at least Goku got a decent zenkai out of it. Now he's closer to Vegeta in power keeping their rivalry going strong. Goku seemed to be disappointed that Freeza and the Ginyu forces are dead but was happy to see Gohan and Krillan. He was even nice and polite to me when even I said that Freeza was my father. Goku was a little suspicious of me before accepting me as part of the Z fighters.
Guess I underestimate his pure heart nature.
Goku used king Kai to get Mr popo to summon Earth's dragon wishing back every non evil person Freeza and his goons killed. We quickly used the last wish on the Namekian dragon balls to teleport planet Namek somewhere that the planet trade organization doesn't know about. Now we won't have any metal cooler incidents happening…...I hope.
The big evil was vanquished, the earthlings friends were revived, and everyone was so happy festivities arosed. I watched Dende run over to his father figure Moore and hug him along with his brother. I turned away and took a sip of my fermented lettuce juice.
'That makes 2 lives now………'
I never had a father while growing up. There was one sorta but he left after a couple of years. I always wanted a father figure to look up too and ask for guidance or to observe and learn how a man should act like.
That was why When I was reincarnated into this world i was in so much denial. I thought this might be a chance I can experience what having a father was like and to be honest it wasn't half bad. Even with his own evil twist ways Freeza was a decent father, I never had to want for anything but not to the point of becoming a spoiled brat. He would always educate me on certain things sometimes going on rants or story's about his own experiences or shenanigans he and cooler used to get into while they were younger. We even bonded over our favorite drinks sometimes.
When he blew up planet Vegeta it all went down hill from there. I always thought of myself as a selfish person but even I couldn't tolerate mass genocides just because I wanted to live in a fantasy. I had to throw away my…….well I wouldn't say happiness but contentment and get rid of this scourge on the universe.
I swirl the juice in my cup. Still watching the Namekians and the earthings party. Gohan spotted me and approached me "you ok Kuriza?"
I looked at him
"I- yeah I'm just thinking. Just go have fun kiddo. Don't worry about my grumpy self."
Gohan looked at me worried but before he could ask more questions Krillan called him over wanting him to participate in some party game with some other Namekian kids.
"Let us know if somethings bothering you. We haven't known you for long but you helped us get our friends back. that means Your a good guy and good guys shouldn't be alone!"
"Gohan hurry before they start without you!!!"
"Coming Krillan!!" Gohan gave one last serious look towards me before running off.
"Wow didn't expect that from Gohan of all people."
"Kids real surprising." Piccolo walked up to me finally done talking with all the curious elders. We sat in silence watching the party rage on. "You know he's right."
"Huh?"
"Depending on people isn't wrong." He took one long glance at me.
"You don't need to feel guilty about Freeza. He had it coming."
"I don't it's just * sigh I just need time to process all this but I keep getting distracted with what ifs. What if I could've used the wish to--"
"It wouldn't have mattered. The dragon balls can't affect things that are stronger than them unless the user wants to be affected." Piccolo began to float criss cross.
Silence.
"How's earth. Our database just says it's a small planet with weak beings on it." The trade organization didn't even deem it good enough to conquer.
"I'm not the one to be asking kid. Most of my time spent on earth was as a vagrant. I never cared about where I was as long as I could train." He began to meditate. After a couple of hours the party died down. Moore was made the new grand elder and not long after guru died causing spirits to die down alot. Everyone was just mourning his death now.
Bulma with the help of a reluctant Vegeta siphoned enough fuel from Freeza's space crafts into Goku's ship. After resting for a day we finally gathered inside. The Namekians we're kind enough to resupply the ship for us though Goku and Vegeta had to take one of the left over space pods in order for the rest of us to survive the trip. Never underestimate a Saiyan's appetite.
They apparently had a gas that puts the person into a sorta hybernation sleep mode where they don't need to eat. It took 15 days but we finally reached earth. When the ship landed we touched down in some remote forest and stepped out of the ship.
I was suddenly hit with a huge pang of nostalgia taking in my surroundings. Trees with green leaves deer roaming the forest a creek flowing into a river. I felt I wanted to stay here.
'Maybe I should call this new place home.''
