A bunch of Fic ideas that I had but don't plan on writing. Most are Naruto Fics but there are others in the mix. Each chapter will be a different Fic idea. All of them are up for adoption, the only thing that I ask in return is that you PM me if you write any of them so I can read it too! You don't even need to credit me lol.
FORCE OF NATURE
This idea was inspired by a FanFic called "Juugo Uzumaki", written by Bactum. It is a really good story, go check it out!
It all began with a scene, right at the beginning of the first chapter, when Juugo transforms his body into something that is fit for swimming underwater (he grows gills, fins and scales. Characteristics of a fish, you know?). I thought it was pretty cool! I always thought that canon Juugo's abilities were too unexplored, and that scene proved my point: Why limit the guy's powers to just a berserking Chakra-beam launcher when he could, potentially, shapeshift into almost anything he may want?! That's how my idea came to grow, and here it is:
The Uzumaki Clan was feared for many reasons, and by most of the Shinobi World: Their Chakra, life-force, and physical strength were rivaled only by the Senju Clan; Their cunning, intelligence and tactical minds were second only to the Nara Clan; Their Kenjutsu prowess was as deadly as Kiri's Seven Swordsmen; And their Fuuinjutsu talent was unmatched. All of these combined already made the Uzumaki a formidable Clan. But what truly made them feared was their strange and powerful Kekkei Genkai: The Four Gifts (or, in Japanese, according to GoogleTranslate; Yontsu no Okurimono).
The Four Gifts were a collective of, you guessed it, four different abilities that an Uzumaki could be born with. None of them were exactly hereditary (even though they were exclusive to the Uzumaki, nothing guaranteed that someone would be born with one or more of them, even if said someone's parents had the Gifts) and all were extremely rare to be manifested.
The first and most "common" Gift was the Adamantine Chakra Chains (you already know what it does… Moving on). The second was the Mind's Eye of the Kagura (again, you already know of it). The third was the Life-Force Donation (the biting thingy, couldn't come up with a better name, lol. Feel free to give it a better one).
The fourth and most rare of the Gift (only a handful of Uzumaki were registered having this ability through history) was the Force of Nature (I know, lame name… Again, feel free to name it better. And it is, essentially, Juugo's Kekkei Genkai… But I will spice it a bit. Also, it is up to you to decide if you want to keep the "madness" that it brings or not. Personally, I think it is unnecessary, since Naruto will have to deal with Kyuubi's rage already). Force of Nature is, basically, the ability to absorb Chakra from almost any source, but mainly from nature itself, and use it as it was the user's. Also, people with this Gift could shapeshift their bodies using Nature's Chakra (like Juugo) into almost any shape they wanted. Both their Chakra and body were even further enhanced by the Gift (they would have double of a normal Uzumaki's body/healing/life strength and Chakra reserves) and Senjutsu came to them easily, due their connection with Nature. Needless to say, the fourth Gift was the most feared of them, even if most thought it was only a myth.
Shortly after Kushina was sent to Konoha (canon timeline is a mess and I don't think I can truly fix it, lol. But, for this story's timeline, I think it would make better sense if Kushina was sent to Konoha as a newborn baby… I think… I am not sure… Regardless, I will try to set a somewhat cohesive timeline, but you are free to change it), a rumor was spread that an Uzumaki kid was spotted displaying the Force of Nature, after centuries from the death of the last one user, by an Iwa's spy (the kid was not Kushina. They were a random Uzumaki that was at Uzushiogakure). The news terrified the Great Nations and most of them launched an united attack against Uzushiogakure (it was Iwa, Kumo, Kiri and numerous smaller villages). Konoha tried to help Uzu, but was delayed by Suna. Eventually, Suna was forced into submission by Konoha, but it was too late. Uzu fell, taking almost all of the enemy army with them. Then, Konoha declared war against those who attacked Uzu. Suna sided with Konoha, since they were already into a "forced" alliance, after their recent defeat. That was the beginning of the Second Great War. Even if the other Nations were still weak after their battle against Uzu, they barely held off against Konoha (it was, basically, Konoha and Suna against the World). The War ended after Tobirama's death, and as soon as Hiruzen became Hokage (I believe that it would make sense that Hiruzen were a bit older here than he was in canon). There was no true winner, since all Nations were pretty beaten and none wanted to risk continuing the War as weak as they were, but that left a bad taste in Iwa, Kiri and Kumo's mouth, which led to the Third Great War years after.
Uzumaki Naruto, our Main Character (I think it would be cool if he had Kushina's red hair and golden eyes [here Kushina had yellow eyes, instead of purple] and Minato's facial structure and calm personality [also as a tribute to Juugo's peaceful personality]. Oh, and Kurama's whiskers lol), became Kyuubi's Jinchuuriki the day he was born (nothing new here). One day, when he was a little kid (not sure how old, but probably before the beginning of his time at the Academy), he was "playing tag" with his birdy friends, hopping from a tree branch to another. Suddenly, he slipped and almost fell on top of some pointy rocks that would hurt him badly. Luckily, his body reacted instinctively and his arms morphed into something that shielded him from harm. Naruto had the fourth Gift of the Uzumaki. Unfortunately, the event was witnessed by one of Orochimaru's spies, who reported what he saw to their master.
The Snake summoner organized a team to kidnap the boy and they barely succeeded. Orochimaru's objective was to use Naruto's DNA/ability to improve the Curse Seal that he had developed (the final product would be the Seal we saw on Sasuke and the Sound Five in canon). For the next few years, life was tough for Naruto. Every day he was submitted to experimentation by either Orochimaru himself or one of his goons. Not to mention that Orochimaru's crew wasn't exactly the gentle kind… Well, except for one person; Kimiko (gender-bended Kimimaro. And yes, that is the pairing for this one: Naruto x femKimimaro[a.k.a. Kimiko]).
Kimiko was a whitehaired girl around Naruto's age (maybe one or two years older… You decide it) who was designated to share a bedroom/cell with the boy. Kimiko was extremely loyal to Orochimaru and her master made this arrangement to have an extra pair of eyes watching the redhead and to, hopefully, have some of Kimiko's loyalty rubbed into Naruto. Well, that didn't work out…
Despite her devotion to Orochimaru, Kimiko was a gentle and kind girl who also longed for a bond of friendship, one that her current situation would never provide. Slowly, but surely, Naruto and Kimiko opened up to each other and became the first true friends they ever had (although they kinda had to hide it around Orochimaru's goons, so they wouldn't be separated). Of course, Kimiko tried to convince Naruto that Orochimaru was good news, but failed to do so. Instead, it was Naruto who slowly planted the seed of doubt into his friend's mind. By the end of the day, she was still somewhat loyal to the Snake, but nowhere near as her canon and male counterpart was (and her loyalty would also be slowly diminished during the following years, as she witnessed her master's cruelty more and more [which she began to frown to even more after "tasting" so much of Naruto's warmth and kindness]).
Eventually, a few years after Naruto's kidnapping, Konoha managed to find the base where Naruto was being kept. Orochimaru had no choice but to let Konoha have the boy back, otherwise he wouldn't be able to escape (Naruto also didn't matter much to Orochimaru at the time, since the improved Cursed Seal was almost ready). Of course, Naruto was happy to be out of Orochi's grasp, but he was devastated for being separated from Kimiko, and didn't even have the chance to say goodbye.
I am not sure how Naruto's Kekkei Genkai and kidnapping would affect his life back in Konoha… Though, I can see him forming a bond with Anko. Also, I think his rivalry with Sasuke would be formed much earlier at the Academy, since he would be more capable than canon Naruto (both in power and wits). I don't think that the Mizuki Incident would be necessary. And the encounter with Orochimaru at the Chunin Exams would be an even more impactful event (not to mention at the Tsunade Retrieval Arc).
During the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, however, Naruto would have an emotional reunion with Kimiko. I believe that this stronger Naruto would be able to handle an ill and much, MUCH, less Orochi-loyal Kimiko by himself. At the end of their confrontation, Sasuke would get out from that urn and run away. Gaara would arrive and take the unconscious Kimiko back to Konoha, at Naruto's request (no need for Lee here. It was cool to see his Drunken Fist, but let the boy recover, for Kami sake!). If Naruto hadn't just fought his oldest friend, he would have been able to beat Sasuke (easely, in my opinion), but his previous fight hindered the Uzumaki just enough for the Uchiha to barely get the upper hand and escape to Orochimaru's lap.
Back in Konoha, Tsunade was able to heal Kimiko, both from her injuries and her illness. After some negotiations and a bit of Naruto's Talk no Jutsu, Kimiko agreed to give Konoha information about her former master and, slowly, the girl would switch loyalty (but her primary loyalty would always be her redheaded friend). If I were to write this story, I would probably have the time-skip done with Naruto traveling with Jiraiya while Kimiko would stay in Konoha (just because I have no clue what I would write during this period lol). But it would be awesome if she tagged along, you know? Mostly because it would give them the opportunity to bond even further and progress their romantic relationship. Also, I think it would make sense for her to go with them… I mean, she wouldn't receive the warmest welcoming from Konoha, at first, for obvious reasons. Also, the traveling trio could make some missions to raid Orochimaru's bases, and Kimiko's intel and presence would be invaluable during them.
