Night of the Executioner Part 1
Imperial Capital at Night...
A red moon is seen in the night sky with smell of blood in the air. In a dark creepy street alley we see a body covered in blood but with no head on it. Why?
Because this person was decapitated by a tall robust man holding in one hand a woman he was planning to kill next with a big creepy smilespread across his entire face.
This tall robust man with very marked facial features, his sinister smile being one of those that extends almost the entire length of his face. He has dark blue eyes, blonde hair with horn-like bangs and white and black headphones, with his clothing consisting of a long coat with a steel, shell-like object on the shoulder.
Under the coat, he wears a white shirt and purple tie, with wears black gloves on his hands along with pants of the same color as well as brown boots and a blue number 8 decorated on the hand blade-holder he had.
"Please!D... dont kill me!"said a woman with tears in her eyes begging for her life to be spared.
"Oh, but i trully must. This is youre own god damm fault for taking a walk this late at night with youre husband"said the creppy tall man.
"Please i beg of you spare my life"said the woman with no response back to her from the tall man.
"Hey you, release that woman at once or youl face my wrath"said a new voice behind the robust man.
"Huh?Says who?!"said the tall man turning around with an annoyed that someone stopped him killing this woman.
Behind was none other then Teresa of the Faint Smile.
"You dare telling me what to do?"said the tall man when...
"OUCH" the tall man screamed from the sudden pain he was feeling.
Looking at the source of his pain the tall man saw that the hand he was holding his victim has been cut off.
"You fucking sick bitch, how dare you cut my arm"said the tall man to Teresa with no response from her giving the tall man a scary look that made him back away.
"Hoh... that is one heck of a look. Remember this woman if i ever cross paths with you again you regret for the rest of youre miserable life"said the tall man leaving Teresa all alone.
Seeing the woman fleeding the area Teresa put her sword back behind her back starting to leave also just another typical night in the Imperial Capital.
Next day at Night Raid Base...
Clare was running the hall looking for someone to play with her.
Lately Clare noticed everyone was very busy doing there own thing that made Clare feel all alone and bored with nobody hanging out with her like they did when she and Teresa joined Night Raid she hopped someone will have a little time to play with her .
First person that Clare spot was Mine cleaning the hall.
"Mine - oneesan wanna play?"asked Clare appearing in front of Mine surprising her how energetic Clare is today.
"Sorry Clare i cant at the moment, maybe later okay?!"said Mine.
Clare nods that she understands seeing Mine cleaning the floor leaving Mine alone alittle upset but there are plenty of people here so she is not at least discouraged.
Clare enters the library room and spots Sheelle reading a book at the table.
"Shelle - oneesan can we play?"asked Clare.
"Sure"said Sheelle to Clare putting down her book to play with her but just then Najenda came into the library starting to speak:
"Sheelle i need youre help with something very important"said Najenda.
"Sure i a minute"said Sheelle.
With Najenda leaving the room Sheelle looks at Clare looking very dissapointed.
"Sorry Clare , but i promise will play afterwards okay"said Sheelle receving a nob from Clare that she understoood.
So Clare keept trying but she got the same response with Leone being busy scooping more info for there future assassin missions, Lubbock putting a few more extra traps around the base, Bullat going hunting for meat, he was in charge of that since Akame and Tasumi have been training like crazy.
Saddly for Clare even Akame and Tatsumi had there thing to do.
Clare returned to her room really sad nobody wanted to play with her until...
Teresa enters the room with Clare jumping out of her bed and hugging her surogate mother.
Teresa noticed Clare hugging her more tightly then ussual she picked up from a long time that when Clare does that she is very upset over something.
"Is everything okay Clare?"asked Teresa.
Clare was about to confess to Teresa but decided not to. It might worry her seeing Clare upset so she said:
"No everything is okay Teresa"said Clare to her.
But Teresa was not an idiot she knew something was up but she decided to wait until Clare is ready to speak.
"Did something interesting happen in the Imperial Capital today?"asked Clare.
"Nah the same as ussual"said Teresa when...
"Hey wanna go outside on a nice walk around the Imperial Capital?"asked Teresa.
"Yeah i want that"said Clare really happy that at least Teresa was gonna spend some time with her but saddly for Clare her moment was cut short.
"Everyone Assemble"said Najenda.
"Clare can you wait a little until this meeting is over will walk all day around the Capital after"said Teresa.
Clare was gonna complain but she knew Teresa never broken her promises to her so she nods that she understands.
After Teresa left and headed to the meeting room, Clare decided to take a peek at the meeting since she had nothing better to do hopping that nobody will spot her and send her to her room.
Meeting room...
"Listen carefully everyone , our target this time is the rumored serial killer that is plaguing the appears late at night chopping off the victim's head"said Najenda with a serious look on her face.
"There's no mistake it has to be Zank the Executioner"said Lubbock.
"Who?"asked Tatsumi receiving a dissapointing look from Mine.
"Sigh"You really are from the country bumpkin huh?!"said Mine as she started explaining who Zank is.
"Zank the Executioner used to work for the empire's greatest prison. Thanks to the prime minister Zank always had plenty of victims to behead, day after day after day that ended up becoming a habbit of him to behead people"said Mine.
"If he returned back to the capital after dissapearing many years ago then we must stop him at all costs"said Bullat.
"May i speak?"asked Teresa.
"Yes you can, youre part of the team"said Najenda.
"I meet this Zank last night when he tried to chop off another victim"said Teresa.
Hearing this the room become silent as a graveyard until...
"Heh?You meet him?"said Leone.
"Yes he was resisting to release that victim so i personally made sure what pain feels when youre on the receiving end"said Teresa.
"Did you killed him?"asked Najenda.
"No i ripped one of his arms with my sword after that he dissapeared in the dark alleys"said Teresa gaining a few shocked faced from the rest of the Night Raid members.
"Well since he lost his arm he will definetly try to lay low until the pain will ease up a little"said Najenda.
"That's my teacher for you"said Tatsumi proud of Teresa.
"Anyway we must find him and finish him off whille we have the advantage"said Najenda.
After that Najenda announced the teams that will look for him. One team was Akame and Tatsumi the other one was Bullat , Sheele , Lubbock and lastly Mine with Teresa.
Nobody noticed that Clare heard everything and had bigger plans that will turn out bad or good.
Late at night...
Tastumi was walking next to Akame in hopes they can catch Zank until...
"Akame?" said Tatsumi noticing her stopping right in front of him.
"Show youreself"said Akame with her hand on her sword followed by Tatsumi getting the message really clear that someone is following them.
"Is it Zank? Or is someone else?!" said Tatsumi to himself with sweat coming down from his face when...
Both Akame and Tatsumi were shocked to see it was none other then Clare.
"Clare?"said Tatsumi.
Meanwhille...
In a dark alley Zank was sitting down on the ground in lots of pain. Ever since he lost his arm the pain he recieved from it did not slow at all only the bleeding stopped which was good for him if not he could have seriously died if he keept losing more and more blood.
"Tch, that woman will pay for what she did to me"said Zank grinning his teeth as he remember the defiant look Teresa gaved him.
"Just you wait, once the pain ease up i will hunt you like a stray dog and behead you like everyone else"said Zank.
Back with Tatsumi , Akame , Clare...
In a dark alley Tatsumi and Akame with there new extra member Clare have hidden when they heard the footsteps of soldiers on duty.
"Why are you here Clare? Teresa is so gonna be upset with you"said Tatsumi.
"I want to help you catch this bad guy"said Clare.
"Thank you Clare but no need to worry about us, with my Teigu nobody will dare hurt us"said Akame.
"Teigu huh?!"said Tatsumi hearing that name ever since he joined Night Raid.
He wanted to ask for a whille now what Teigu's are but didn't knew how to ask so he decided until everyone will be okay to tell him what are Teigu's.
Akame noticed what Tatsumi was saying and decided to tell him what Teigu's are.
"This may not be the time but i will tell you what Teigu's are"said Akame to Tatsumi.
Hearing this Tatsumi was all ears waiting to hear what Teigu's are with Clare next to him.
"About 1000 years ago, after the great empire was created, the empire itself begin to worry.
The Teigu were created on the instruction of the First Emperor, who feared that the Empire he had founded would eventually fall.
To prevent this, he gathered many materials and hired many scientists throughout the world to make strong weapons and defenses.
The creation of the Teigu are the result of their efforts. There were 48 Teigu in all, but almost half of them were lost during a civil war about five centuries before the start of the story. Several Teigu have been seen to be destroyed; it is not known how many of the original 48 remain.
Many Teigu were created from the remains of Danger Beasts that had unique powers, imbuing them with special abilities.
Many weapon and armor-type Teigu were forged from a rare metal called Orichalcum. Teigu are not limited to one ability; some are known to have secret powers that are yet to be discovered, and some have powers that are lost to history"said Akame finishing her story.
Tatsumi was impressed by this story whille Clare was to young to understand complicated stuff so she keept her mouth shut for the time being.
"My Teigu is this sword i carry around. One Cut Killer"Murasame"a katana known for being coated in an immensely deadly poison that could kill those cut by it within seconds, as the poison itself had no antidote. The Teigu's trump card, the ability to strengthen its user with the power of its poisonous curse for a short amount of time"said Akame.
"That is so cool and scary at the same time . So what about the others? asked Tatsumi.
"Leone's Teigu is One hundred- Beast - King Lionel the belt she is always activated, it enhanced her speed, reflexes, strength, and regeneration, as well as giving her animal-like characteristics.
Mine's Teigu is Roman Artillery"Pumpkin"capable of shooting in three modes: sniper, machine gun and long barrel. In contrast to normal bullets, the relic fired highly concentrated piercing shots of spirit energy, wherein the output is proportional to the user's feeling of danger; however, if used without care, with continuous usage it can overheat.
Bullat's Teigu is Incursio, an armor Teigu that changes form depending on the person using it.
When activated, the armor has a special ability to turn the user invisible for a limited time, having mastered Incursio to its limits as he was able to call on the armor without the use of its key as well as being able to use its invisibility for long periods of time.
Lubbock's Teigu is "Infinite Uses: Cross Tail", which is very powerful and has many uses, including offensive and defensive techniques his wires are so strong that can cut anything.
And finally Sheele's Teigu is Cutter of Creationation "Extase"which is said to be able to cut through anything almost like Lubbock's Teigu . She could use its trump card to make her Teigu shine a blinding light against the enemy"said Akame telling Tatsumi about everyone's Teigu.
"Maybe one day i will have my very own Teigu"said Tatsumi to himself.
"But if two teigu users are to battle against each other only one will survive whille the other one one will die thats the iron rule for all Teigu users"said Akame.
"I see"said Tatsumi understanding know that its gonna be either Akame or Zank to survive whille the other one will die.
Clare on the other hand was bored when she noticed something that piqued her interes.
She wouldnt cause Tatsumi and Akame to much problem if she went not very far away from them, that's what Clare was thinking at the moment.
Just as Tatsumi realized he was focused on the story he wondered if Clare is bored but when he turned around he was surprised to see that Clare was nowhere near him or Akame.
"Tatsumi?!"said Akame seeing Tatsumi looking around with a worried look on his face.
"Akame, where is Clare?" asked Tatsumi with a worried look on his face.
"Huh?"said Akame just now noticing that Clare is missing.
Clare though she wont be far away like she though at first but now she was walking around in the middle of the night looking completely lost.
"Tatsumi , Akame"called Clare there names with no response from either of them but...
After turning to next corner Clare bumps into something or someone.
"Excuse me sir...said Clare only to notice a tall man that looked at her with a sick smile.
"Well, well what do we have here?!"said the tall man that Clare bumped into.
In front of her Clare just meet none other then dangerous seriall killer Zank the Executioner.
