So, ok, this chapter is hopefully an impressive fight scene. It is a little chaotic, because lots of things are happening at once. I haven't really written fight scenes, so I hope it turns out acceptable.

In two separate circles, sat Scott and Allison. Behind them sat a massive stump. A crone stood between them, chanting in an indecipherable language. As Scott awoke, he attempted to escape the circle only to find that he was thrown back in a fashion similar to mountain ash.

Scott yelled in his head, DEREK, HELP!

Derek, in the Hale house, did not hear Scott's cry for help. He was, however, planning the rescue. "Do we canvas the town or stick together to find Scott and Allison?"

Isaac said with terrifying certainty, "I know where they are. I got closer to the wolf spirit, I can tell exactly where Fenris is coming through."

Derek said, "that's… new. Angela, witches are not something we have experience fighting. Any hints?"

Angela stated, "I'll keep her busy. I'll need your pack to handle her summons. It's her modus operandi. They should be well within a werewolf's ability to fight. I can give directions to the Genim and another on how to cast gleipnir."

Stiles said, "I've never done magic before. Doesn't being a werewolf cancel out potential?"

Angela said, "I feel an odd spark within you. Magic is in you still. A bit more bestial than most, but their none the less." Stiles struggled to keep his excitement in check. "I also sense a seer?" She looked at Danny.

Danny said, "my power just started manifesting when I joined the pack."

Angela said, "Good enough to cast the spell. It has complex materials, not a huge power requirement. And your sight should guide you through the casting, if you trust it." Danny nodded.

Isaac said, "guys, the border between dimensions is thinning. I can hear the call of Fenris. I'll start tracking, follow my scent." He ran out.

Angela said "I'll talk through the spell while we drive." Everyone was loaded into cars. Isaac was hitting speeds above what Derek had imagined possible. He was running at least 50 miles an hour. He led the group to a clearing near the road.

Angela muttered, "of course there's a Nemeton." Louder, she said, "Seer, I need you to connect to the energy here. This is your home, your birthright. Take the power from her."

Danny focused on feeling power around him. First, he felt the pack. He pushed past that. Next, he felt something massive. He could feel something already charging from this wellspring. Danny yanked on the energy. It responded to him easily, greeting him as its child, his friend. He opened his eyes. They glowed solid forest green. His hands were trailing sparks of energy of the same color. He said with a strange echo to his voice, "This is my land. I'm ready."

The circles containing Allison and Scott were glowing bright silver. Between them stood a stump. Above that, floated a witch of immense power. Above her, a glowing rainbow tear was forming in reality. Through the tear, a massive wolf was visible, snarling.

Angela floated up and said, "It's over, Bathilda! You will not end this world tonight!"

Bathilda asked in a creaky voice, "you and what army is going to stop me?"

Derek, Stiles, Isaac, Lydia, Jackson, and Danny stepped into the clearing. Derek shouted, "This army!"

Bathilda creaked, "oh you brought war dogs!" She muttered some arcane words and three trees morphed into 8 foot tall humanoid treants.

Stiles muttered, "that's a basic ass magic trick." Derek, Jackson, and Isaac ran up to keep them occupied.

Allison and Scott were banging on the edges of the circles, but no sound came from them despite them clearly shouting.

Angela and Bathilda began swirling around, throwing spells at each other, blocking with shields, and generally teaching those around them witches are not to be messed with.

Danny and Stiles began preparing for their very first spell. Stiles laid a line of mountain ash. Over it was laid a sinew of a bear. A single beard hair from a woman was placed in the center. The full air bladder of a lungfish was placed at one end. A swift's nest was placed at the other end. Stiles pulled out his phone and played a video of a cat on crinkly leaves, and left it on loop. Stiles said, "I am Genim. I should know my part." He paused. "I've got a bad idea."

Danny said, "oh boy. Follow your instincts?"

Stiles sang, "I've got the magic in me. Everything I touch, I turn it into gold, into gold." He continued singing the full song. And to both his and Danny's surprise, the objects began forming a silk thread of pure gold.

Danny said, "and now to direct." He took the energy that was coursing through him and grabbed the thread at one end. "Ancient magic and brand new, bind the wolf god anew, take this thread through, and make it do its job through and through." The other end of the thread stretched and shot through the tear in reality. The ribbon began tying down Fenris. Danny immediately realized a problem: he needed to anchor this end, and fast. Options: himself, bad, only solves the problem for a lifetime. The Nemeton: mediocre, it would have catastrophic consequences locally eventually. Then it was Danny's turn for a bad idea. "Hale pack's power stands true, today I bind something anew, to us I pledge to keep the wolf, so as to stave him off." The other end of the ribbon shot towards Derek. He jerked back as it flowed into him. From him, shot ribbons to every other member of the pack. The ribbons shattered the circles holding both Scott and Allison, causing them to stumble out. Allison pulled a small crossbow from her boot and began firing at Bathilda. Scott rushed to assist in dealing with the treants.

Bathilda shouted, "NOO! YOU WILL NOT UNDO MY WORK!" She dived towards Danny and Stiles. In doing so, she made two fatal errors: first, she failed to account for Allison's deadly aim as a bolt pierced Bathilda's heart and second, she left her flank exposed as Angela blasted her with a stream of fire. Bathilda immediately dissolved as the two fold death took her.

Angela lowered herself to the ground. She began muttering and the tear in reality began to close. The treants became trees once more. Stiles was just about to say something when the world spun for him. He passed out, as did every member of the pack, leaving Angela confused and concerned.
