Plans within plans:
Lady Magic began to slowly recover from her sorrow. By the threads of fate, the boy had survived. He had expelled the evil parasitic sentience that had leeched onto him and finally had access to his mass-energy manipulation matrix. He was in the presence of his familiar and she found the situation acceptable enough. She would have preferred if the boy did not have to suffer, but it was out of her hands. She was not supposed to interfere with the Phoenix's projected flight path after summoning the bird. Perhaps management would allow the minor infraction? She was carrying out this distasteful experiment on their behalf in any case. So far, it seemed as if 'management' did not mind one bit, and that made the situation almost perverse – was the boy fated to be a lynchpin in plans that were out of her control?
She would focus on what she could control, as she considered the next essential part of her plan.
Crucial in the next step of this plan was for Priya Singh to do her job, as she was the right candidate for Harry's new teacher. She was easily the best healer in Magical England with a new set of eclectic approaches - she had drawn inspiration from the muggle world and developed an entirely new suite of spells based around anatomy and a magical diagnostic device. Lady Magic had slowly worked through many intermediaries to ensure the next possible outcome – Priya Singh would use her cutting edge research to heal Harry Potter.
Priya had seen the pain that some of her pureblooded housemates had been put through at Hogwarts. Corporal punishment and abuse were regular methods of discipline in the magical world. It was no issue if children ended up broken. As long as they could serve their Head of House and carry out their duties, it was all fine. Priya who felt that she could do something to fix this issue, out of the goodness of her heart, became an informal therapist during her time at Hogwarts. Her talents were simple but effective. She could get past barriers with a kind, unthreatening disposition. She could also understand people deeply. Sometimes she wondered if her magic was suited for these gifts - she always felt a low humming in her core when she indulged herself in the pain of others as she tried to wash away their torments whether it be physical or emotional.
Priya would, at least according to Lady Magic's carefully laid out plans, turn Harry away from being cynical and cold. She also hoped that the natural tendency of Indian Families to adopt surrogate children would play out here – Harry would eventually get Grandparents by proxy. She hoped that Harry grew into his competence, he would protect Priya from those who would harm her.
Priya Singh would put Harry Potter on the correct path, by putting the boy's soul back together.
Lady Magic found Harry's execution of his mental defence to be utterly amusing. A young barely eight-year-old boy who was at least mentally eleven had used Terran science fiction to shape a particle barrier. From her perspective, it seemed that his mass-energy manipulation matrix assumed that the shield was primarily for blocking energy-based attacks. While the standard Protego shielding spell suffered from not being able to block the darkest of the magical curses, Harry's shield had been completely immune.
Harry had accidentally applied a reductionist paradigm – he saw the magic as energy. No more and no less.
She also loved the psychological intimidation employed in the second part of the scuffle. Brute physicality was used to stall energy attacks, and this was not unusual - this was already a standard that was present in Terran magic. Subatomic Realignment could often temporarily change one form of matter to another, and such techniques were often used to conjure obstacles in the pathway of directed energy. The Terrans called it Battle Transfiguration and it was considered a very demanding application of magic.
Essentially, Harry had made magic great again, by bringing a giant wall to Lord Voldemort.
These events were clear indications that Harry Potter had the correct predisposition to become a Techno-Mage. His endless imagination would provide the template for many great things to come. Lady Magic then giggled as she thought about how Lord Time-Space would document the rather unusual life of the green-eyed boy. She could not wait to read his notes.
