Time Skip No Jutsu – One Year Later

Wake up Naruto it's time for school, Kana yells as she opens the door. It's time for us to head out. Kana opens the door and sees Naruto whilst changing out of his PJs and into school clothing.

All of Naruto's training from his world and what he has done since getting to Earth has been paying off, chiseled muscles, no useless fat can be seen on his body, lean muscle built up over the years of cardio and hard work that the life of a ninja makes necessary. The scars of a man beyond his years and the countenance of someone who knows how to have a good time. That is Naruto to a tee.

Hey Naru, looking good all that working out has been doing you good, I'll have to be punting all the girls away from you, going to be irresistible for all the ladies. In the sanctity of her mind, Kana has gone down the rabbit hole and Kana. xe has stopped responding. Naruto gets close and boops his erstwhile occupied best friend on the nose. What's going on in this head of yours, you enjoying staring at my abs, Kana? Naruto asks teasingly.

Kana responds "huh …... what oh yea how you're such a dweeb and we are going to have to postpone the weekly prank. I must get ready for my graduation …. Little brooo. This coincides with a noogie to her while now grown-up Naruto Uzumaki is still her little brother of 17 to her 18.

Naruto responds despondently, oh ok Kana I guess that's fine I had forgotten you graduate here in a week. I am going to miss my bestie. So, have you figured out what you are going to use as your fake name yet for when you join up?

Kana answers teasingly, "yup but I ain't going to tell you muahahahahaha. "

She continues, "It's kind of lame anyway I am just going with my middle name, I don't think Shepard is all that cool "

Naruto responds, "I think it's pretty cool, it could be a name and a title all in one. Especially with our goal in mind." Sensing Kana's trepidation with all that was to come soon, Naruto decides to hug her and begin stroking her on her head comfortingly.

He continues, "it'll be ok big sis I'm going to be right there beside you in 2 years so no worries yea. The galaxy won't know how to take us Maelstrom siblings. And then we can start to plan our future. "Naruto gives her a very chaste kiss on the cheek "I love you too much my big strong Sheppy you're going to do great things and then ill be there too soon so just go into this with pride in me and especially yourself. "

Time Skip no Jutsu: Eight Months Later

"Dad I miss Kana have you heard anything to do with her deployment, Naruto asks, I was wondering where she might get stationed in case it was close enough for a visit. "

Minato says, "Last I heard she was getting posted on Elysium on a standard patrol route with the Marines in her detachment. She did get promoted up to 2nd Lieutenant before she left the Academy, which means she's already on her way to growing into an officer of her own. "

A large rumbling in the distance is heard for a few seconds before the door is flung open and a Kushina Uzumaki slams open the door and she grabs Minato and looks into his eyes, "turn the tv to the news right now something has happened. I just got the alert we need to get ready right after. "

Minato switches the tv on and turns the news on, " And here we are with our combat reporter on the ground at Elysium we switch over to them. "

Massive explosions and gunfire lacing the sky are seen on the screen. an attractive blonde in combat fatigues and Medium Armor on. She is opening fire with an Avenger rifle. She speaks over the headset she is carrying while her drone records her "This is Combat Reporter Cary Calliope on the ground I am embedded with the Marine 3rd Battalion on Elysium, the planet has come under massive attack, from what I've been told a pirate armada and a Batarian slaving fleet are in orbit seemingly come to do very similar things. The sky has been lit up with their firing at each other for the last hour. We are not very sure of what's going on in orbit, but we have been fending off attacks from both groups for the last couple of hours. In all honesty, things on the ground are not looking good, the troops here are doing their best including me but most of the higher command was wiped out in the initial attack. "

A Mako tank rolls up next to her and drops its troops off and then drives off-screen taking hundreds of hits from seemingly off-screen until it detonates with its last breath being a high yield shell shot into the distance The camera pans over the battlefield Cary is fighting over in the distance shapes innumerable from the bipedal shapes of people to what seem like larger people and then one large shape with one outstretch line. A bright light begins to build before being launched out of that largest shape.

Cary says, "Well Jessica this may be my last broadcast, I think this is it, to the Alliance forces out there please avenge us "

The Camera pans over to what seems like a lone shape standing on the top of a hasty fortification and a voice is heard over the mic, voice says "You bastards shall not take one step past us and will not harm one more of my men "

As the bright bolt of seemingly bright blue biotics looks like it is about to impact a massive shield manifest to cover the Marines spread out before the fortification and the two biotic powers begin fighting for what was more powerful.

In the light of this fight, we see a breathtaking woman of intense beauty with strikingly blonde hair now as the camera zooms in shifting to a bright crimson color. As the figure wins the biotic battle the blast is sent back to where it came from, and a sizable detonation is seen through the fog in the distance. The figure points at the pirates and batarians in the distance and says "Boys it's time for the hunt to begin "

With that like ghosts in the fog men and women in marine uniforms rise from their fortification and begin a charge on the enemies three Grizzles rolling behind unloading with their dual autocannons firing.

What was presented to the viewers for the next 5 minutes is a battle for survival from the Pirate perspective as this figure destroys entire groups of them and the marines slaughtering the remnants. The camera seemingly entranced on the figure shows entire squads of Batarians being ripped limb by limb and being launched at their friends while the figure unloads with a massive Typhoon machine gun

The seemingly Angel of Death says after all is said and done "we need to fall back until the Navy can get here we will hold the line "

The camera pans off and then Cary says out of breath "Jessica I think I'm going to sign off I think things are going to get pretty bad here, I hope we get help soon "

The now named reporter behind the desk Jessica says, "that woman is a hero, and I don't think anything I can say will help so I think it's time for those that believe to have a prayer for those fighting or a least a moment of silence."

The tv is shut off and Minato and Kushina rush out of the room seemed to their bedroom to get ready, Naruto sits there in a stupor and prays to the Goddesses, "please keep my sister safe "

He continues "I need to pick my path soon so I can work well with big sis, I'm thinking Engineer might work out "

Time Skip No Jutsu: Six Months Later

Naruto throws his graduation triangular hat in the air and celebrates his growing into an adult and the left of high school. His parents sitting in the background crying.

Naruto says to himself, "It is time sister I will join you soon it is time for us to take this galaxy by storm. "

The scene fades out to a party with the entire Uzumaki and Senju clans. Grandparents and parents alike hug and congratulate their blonde bundle of fun.

Naruto's grandfather Hiruzen pulls him aside, "I am so proud of you my boy, now we won't be assisting you while you join as is the tradition in our house, but I want you to keep in touch, your sister has been a little bad about that, but I am sure for good reason have you figured out what your fake name will be."

Naruto responds," I think I will be taking my sister's fake name as well; she did give me the heads up that she had mentioned she had a brother to a few people some joining like that actually might help her cover story. "

Hiruzen, "well I'm very happy you're going to be aiding young Kana me and your other Grandparents will get your secondary ID set up so you can get joined up to have you decided on Marines or Navy"

Naruto responds, "I think I might go navy to balance her out and take inspiration from our parents. Maybe I can even command the ship her detachment serves to get some good combo there; I know that mom and dad did that for a while before they got their ships. "

The conversation starts to slowly dwindle until Minato comes over and says, "my son I am so proud of you its that time in your life where you are going out on your own and you're training over the last couple of years should have prepared you and I am very happy to see you following my footsteps by your conversation with Sarutobi. I will tell you some interesting new ship designs are coming down the pipeline so I might see if you are available when they come out, I may not be able to assist you directly I do want you to be in the best position to succeed.

Naruto responds with tears in his eyes, "thanks dad that means a lot "

Hiruzen pops in, "dang it Minato and here I was going to offer the same thing, "he says as a big cloud of smoke comes out of his mouth.

Fades to Black

Fades to White

The next time we find our hero is him in another ceremony not celebrating this time but in a very serious way. He is in a blank white room with around 40 other men and women all swearing and oath.

And I swear to uphold the responsibilities of my position. I will take my men through the gauntlet and do my best to bring them through safely. I will in every interaction know that I am a representative of the Systems Alliance. If need be, I will sacrifice myself to save those who cannot save themselves. I will never forget the honor that those who came before me brought to the positions I will hold, and I will do my best to uphold that. For that is the Oath of a member of the Navy of our Systems Alliance

The crowd begins to break up and everyone there stands up ready to get their things. Naruto grabs the various things he had brought with him including his datapad and he sees a message from his sister.

Hey Bro,

How are you doing I just heard you got into the Naval Academy, I am so proud of you, I can guess your plans with how we discussed things before I shipped out are you still planning on "commanding" me lol. Well, hopefully, we will get to serve on the same ship one day. Stranger things have happened. I know we haven't talked since Elysium, and that's for good reason. I haven't been in the best mental space moreover all this super hardcore training I've been doing being a "hero" opens doors for you. I can't talk about it on this avenue of communication but if we get a chance to use others I can then.

One of his fellow cadets walks up and looks over his shoulder and asks," whatcha got there? "

Naruto responds, "Oh nothing a message from my big sister, nothing too crazy. Who are you nice to meet you I'm Naruto? "

She responds, "Oh my names Sara, Sara Ryder "

Naruto now looks at her, seeing her from more than out of the corner of his eye. Sara is a very attractive young woman; she had the vibe of an excitable tomboy and the body of a model. Standing at about 6 foot she looks like she could fight you as much as she could dance with you. A very slender body type that seems to flex every time she moves. Naruto thinks, "she works out almost as much as I do, and she's really cute. …. I can't think about this I have Sheppy to think about right now, plus all this school stuff, Naruto you need to cool your jets"

Naruto Shepard, it's legitimately nice to meet you seem cool what are your plans here at the academy. I am thinking of the leadership course and engineering, with a mix of some combat mixed in there"

Sara replies," I was thinking of Xenobiology, Leadership, and a smattering of Biotics. Another triple path like me double nice "She gets a huge smile on her face, most likely because she just made a new friend who is going to be doing the same things as her.

Naruto responds, "did you know that the dorms are Coed, maybe we will be roommates, that would be cool. "

Naruto continues, "well let's go find out then I think the list is outside "

They walk outside the room, they find a list surrounded by the other cadets all clamoring to find out their room assignments.

Naruto says, "So are they doing as a kind of simulation of how bunking would be on a ship or is some kind of test of our willpower to not do something stupid"

Sara responds, "oh it's probably something along the lines of both or maybe they were too lazy to try to separate by gender, "she says with a goofy smile on her face.

The two now friendly cadets continue to talk about various subjects such as their dreams, reasons for joining, and general plans. Naruto learning that she is interested in the other races of the universe even learning about the Protheans she thinks could be cool, along with that she wants to serve on a ship at least for some time, he also learns she is a biotic, born from parents who had been exposed so she got hers naturally. Her father was a Commander in the Marines before joining N7, he's now retired and serving as a liaison. Her mother was a doctor, studying deadly diseases.

Naruto gives her the vague version of their family that he and his sister had come up with. It wasn't technically a lie. He told her his parents both currently serve, and they are deployed, and he comes from a military family. He does bring up his sister serving in the Marines. Thankfully as Sara seems to want to ask more questions the crowd had finally dispersed enough that they could check room assignments, so he avoided that conversation for a time.

Naruto looks up his name and decides it's time for one of his favorite pastimes. Sara asks, "so who did you get is it someone in our Cadet unit or one of the other ones."

Naruto responds, "Hmmmmm it's someone I can't say their name it's kind of dumb. He continues Saaaar"

She interrupts, "Oooo is it a Sally maybe "

Naruto continues, "Sarraaaa, this last name is especially hard to say "

Sara finally picks up what he's doing and looks over his shoulder, "Oh my name is dumb is it well I guess this dummy gets to pick their bunk first muahahaha "as she darts off first to get ahead of Naruto.

The scene fades as the two chases each other through the corridors of the Academy finally reaching their dorm room laughing and joking all the way.

Authors Note

So for a few things I have to do housekeeping.

1. I will be updating the character sheet occasionally when I feel it warrants it, would yall like a separate chapter dedicated to the Char sheet. In all honesty, I have it in the story as a way to really quantify his strength and also aid him in helping his allies down the road this isn't a full "gamer" crossover there's already a lot to keep up with and I wouldn't want to add all that for it to get lost in all that's going so let me know

2. The harem is pretty locked in currently most of the females in ME I find interesting is in and Naruto girls are also in, it's just going to be a while until we get there and that may change depending on how this goes im not trying to really write myself in a corner on my first fic .

3. This chapter introduces some of the changes I have made so far to the base of ME such as the Academy, I am not sure if it's a thing. I have also to a certain extent smashed all three Shepard Backstories together and I am not done after all Naruto has to prove himself as well.

4. So for his long term development, Naruto is right now a really high-level ninja with the basics of going the Engineer route (class wise ) I thought it would be interesting for the " dumb" Naruto to actually go the intellectual route while this one is a little OC he's not too far off the mark. Another reason I thought it might work is it's the direct opposite of space magic\ninja powers. He will use jutsu and other powers normal Naruto has and more he got trained by his dad for a couple of years, look forward to that but the major thing for him as a character is he is in a new universe and he wants to fit in and being super OP and shooting massive Jutsu everywhere is not going to help things and he has had his parents and the wider family explain what they have gone through to keep the secret and how they have got around things so don't fear he will have his we will get back to the tailed beasts and the new ridealong for this fic just not for a little bit

5. For some of you, you might not like the slow development but I'm really enjoying the slow setup, I want to expand on some characters and establish context for some things also setting up little plotlines is interesting like setting up Cerberus for some bad stuff early on might have affected things.

6. Finally, if yall have any cool ideas shoot them my way, I'm churning my way through a lot of my contemporaries in the ME fanfic arena and Naruto crossovers, while also coming up with my own stuff so any cool stuff is welcome.
