Magic Among Cybertron

ESKK: Here we are a new chapter and a reunion long overdue. Heads up a large part of this chapter had come from Harry Potter and the Angel of the Night by ReaperCB919. Please support his fanfics even if they don't seem to be getting updates anytime soon.

(Start The Day Elita took Harry)

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Albus Dumbledore was confused. The blood protections and defensive wards that he'd placed around Harry thanks to his mother's sacrifice had activated and were working properly, but the tracking charms weren't. What's more, his agent that he'd placed at Privet Drive reported that she hadn't noticed anything different about the way the Dursley's had gone about their morning.

That didn't make sense. They should have received his letter, but the charm he'd placed on it hadn't activated either to let him know about that. This bore, investigation thus, with that said, he looked over to his familiar.

"What do you think, old friend?" Dumbledore asked the phoenix to which Fawkes gave a soft questioning trill, and then bobbed his head back and forth.

"So, you don't know either, and that worries me even more." Dumbledore said as he stood and wrapped his cloak around him before throwing a pinch of floo powder into his fire, and stuck his head in. "Arabella? Might I come through, there's something curious going on." Dumbledore asked as he looked into the fire.

(Meanwhile with Arabella)

"Of course, Headmaster," Arabella Figg answered, before stepping back. Then a minute later the aged wizard stepped through the green flames. "What's wrong?" She asked curious as to what brought him here.

"I'm worried that none of the protections I placed on Harry have activated. They all should have done so the moment he entered the Dursley home." Dumbledore explained as Arabella listened to the headmasters' concerns. "What's more, the notification charm on the letter for Petunia had registered but I cannot trace it nor have the charms activated for Harry." Dumbledore said as it was clear he was troubled by such things.

"I know that Petunia is still home, but Vernon left for work right on time as usual. I didn't notice anything before that, nor did I see the basket this morning, and I woke up well before them." Arabella said as she seemed to think on what was going on. "But my Kneazles did notice something strange last night, though I don't know what." She began as Dumbledore listened to Arabella. "They seemed to perk up, rushed toward the window facing the Dursley home, then just settled back down again. I assumed it was merely you and the others dropping Harry off." She said and in turn Dumbledore thought it odd.

"Possibly, but I would think they'd know me by now... hmm... curious. I'll go out disillusioned, to check the wards. If it's just a simple issue, then no reason to worry anyone." He said before he quickly cast his spell, becoming invisible to everyone. "If you'd be so kind as to check the mail Arabella?" Dumbledore asked as he did not want to worry neighbors with the door opening and closing by itself.

"Of course, Headmaster." The squib smiled as she provided the distraction for Dumbledore to slip out and make his way invisibly toward number four, Privet Drive.

Once there, the aging headmaster quickly began to check the wards on the home only to come up short. He then ran several more diagnostic spells, but NONE of them were active, not on this home at least. He walked toward the home and cast a few more diagnostic spells once he had reached the front step and blinked. There was what looked to be a giant footstep on the ground. Upon investigation Dumbledore noted that it did not match any creature he knew of. By the looks of it the print seemed boot like, but giants don't wear boots due to their immense size.

Upon further investigation Dumbledore saw what looked to be knees near the footprints suggesting the form had kneeled down. With a growing sense of dread, Dumbledore cast several notice me not charms on the home and himself before dropping his disillusionment and knocking on the door. He smiled kindly as Petunia answered opting to be diplomatic about this.

"Ah, hello Petunia... I..." Was as far as he got before the door was slammed in his face. "Hmm..." He hummed before he cast a quick opening charm and strode into the house. "Petunia, I realize this is not the most pleasant of situations, but there is a problem. Where is Harry?" Dumbledore asked as he needed to know what had happened.

"What are you talking about? I don't want anything to do with you, my sister or her freak son... I don't want them anywhere NEAR my precious Duddykins." The horse faced woman raged. "Get out!" She yelled as she was trying to push Dumbledore out of her home.

"Didn't you find Harry this morning?" Dumbledore asked as he was very puzzled now.

"Of course, not I only found that our lawn was ruined and now I have to call a bloody gardener to fix it." Petunia snapped as she tried to push Dumbledore out. The old man saw that with how Petunia was acting he had to resort to the best way to get the information he needed, and looked her in the eyes, diving into her mind.

He was back out a moment later and very confused. She'd spoke the truth as not only did she not find Harry at all, but she also had no knowledge of the Potter's deaths, or that he'd left their son here. He quickly obliviated her of this meeting and left the house, before he dropped the other charms on the home and vanished with a pop back to Arabella's living room.

"Did you find your answer's Headmaster?" Arabella asked, worried at the look on the wizard's face and the lack of sparkle in his blue eyes.

"No, not at all. Only more questions." Dumbledore said as it was clear something had happened last night when he left Harry. "I have to return to Hogwarts. I have to find out what could have caused this." He said before he looked to her Floo. "Do you mind, Arabella?" He asked and in turn the woman nodded.

"Of course not, Headmaster." The Kneazle breeder smiled as she stepped aside to let Dumbledore use the Floo. "And, while I'm sorry that this is troubling you, I honestly can't be sad that little Harry hasn't ended up with those... horrible people." Arabella said to which Dumbledore sighed.

"Alas, I can't say I disagree, but it really is for his best protection." Dumbledore sighed and threw a handful of floo powder into the fireplace, then vanished back to his office.

(Hogwarts Headmasters office)

Once there, the headmaster sat down and started to make calls. By nightfall, he'd have arranged for nearly the entire remaining order to come to Hogwarts. The search for Harry Potter had begun but the gnawing fear was eating at him over who took Harry, who had taken their only means to end Riddle once and for all?

(Scene Break Axelon Base 6 Years Later)

Outside the Axelon Base 6 years after the arrival of their young charge a house was erected. Acquiring the material was easy for the Autobots as was clearing out the surrounding area. We now see a farmhouse where trees used to stand, and a small field of crops set up near it. The Axelon Homestead was built right outside the location of where the Axelon had originally crashed which served the Autobots well. Close enough to a human populated location for any supply runs for their charge yet far enough so to avoid any prying eyes. The area of course was labeled as private property to keep any naysayers out but there came the time when Harry needed to socialize with his own kind.

Their home was built with a barn so the Autobots can go in and hide out if need be. But at the moment only Jetfire can make use of the barn in vehicle mode. A small garage for two Autobots to park at any given time and a yard for Harry to run around in. Speaking of knowing what they do about the boy Harry was nary out of Elita's sight for more than a microsecond. Truly Elita was easing into the role like a Sparkling to their first transformation. She was a natural at what she did and as far as Harry knew Elita was his mum and he was her son.

Speaking of upbringing Elita knew it was time for Harry to socialize with others his own age hence why they had planned this excursion well in advance via Preceptor. The plan was that Elita would drive Harry to school in vehicle mode but with an added bonus of a proxy form. This proxy form was suited with a holographic projector to allow Elita to use it via mental controls. Of course, the Gynoid was still in the beta testing so all Elita can do to maximize its use is using a Cortical Psychic Patch and remote control until Preceptor can perfect it.

Any who Jetfire had become Harry's favorite uncle and no doubt it was due to Harry enjoying flight. Jetfire suspected the boy may have been a Cybertronian Flier in a past life with how much Harry enjoys it. Still according to most parenting books Elita had Preceptor download for her a child needs to be able to socialize and interact with others his own age. More so Harry needed to go to school if for no other reason than to help him connect better to his human heritage. Elita loved Harry to death, but she wanted him to be able to identify with others of his own species.

Using her proxy body Elita had climbed the steps to find Harry was getting ready. Elita had modeled her body off of that of the late Lily Potter after Preceptor and Elizabeth's people managed to find data off of her. "Harry it's time to go." Elita said as she saw Harry wasn't entirely ready yet.

"I know mum but…" Harry began and thus Elita sighed. Walking over Elita began to fix Harry's uniform so he would look presentable.

"There we are." Elita praised as she smiled to her son. "You look ready to meet High Council at one of their parties." Elita said as she knew using Cybertronian terms may not help her goal, but it was hard to let go of her own heritage.

"Mum… do I have to go?" Harry asked as he was clearly nervous and a tad bit shy.

"Harry while I'm sure Preceptor can be an excellent teacher you need to be able to interact with those your own age… and species." Elita said adding the last part as she looked to Harry. "After all you don't want to be around your dear old mum for the rest of your life, do you?" Elita teased as Harry looked away.

"No… maybe… yes." Harry said as he sounded like the child he was.

"Ah but Harry flattery will not get you out of this." Elita smiled and thus got her sons shoes. "Come now we do have a day of learning to get you too." Elita said as she helped Harry into his shoes. It wasn't hard and soon enough Harry was ready for the day. "Now… ready to go?" Elita asked offering her hand to Harry.

"Will Sparkplug be there?" Harry asked as Elita sighed. Sparkplug was a minicon they had found and had bonded to Harry. The minicon acted much like a dog in many aspects and had become the unofficial pet of the base.

"Sorry love but Sparkplug has to stay here… but don't worry he'll be here when you get back from school." Elita said with a smile on her face.

"Ok." Harry said trusting his mother. "Now come on this form only has limited energy after all." Elita said and thus Harry took Elita's waiting hand and the two departed.

(Scene Break School)

The local Primary School of St. Ottery was the one closes to their base and thus closes to where they lived. Elita drove with her proxy body in the driver's seat looking like she was driving. As the Autobot Commander drove she made sure Harry was in the back seat as they made their way to the school. Never know when he might pop away to avoid something, so she liked to be ready.

Eventually they parked outside and thus Elita stepped out with her proxy body and walked over to the backseat. Opening the door, she let Harry out as he looked nervously at the school. Elita walked over to where the teacher would take Harry and could not help but be worried for him, at least until she looked to her charge. Seeing his nervousness Elita knew Harry was like a sparkling on their own first day to school. "Come on Harry I promise I'll be out here waiting for you when you get off." Elita assured her son knowing being nervous for their first day was natural.

"Promise?" Harry asked and thus Elita offered Harry her pinky.

"Promise." Elita responded and thus the two hooked pinkies before parting ways.

The teacher smiled with the promise he would be taken care of and thus Harry was of into the school. Once Harry was inside Elita smile turned to a sad smile knowing that for her less time had passed that Harry was just a year old recently orphaned toddler. Human and Cybertronian's aged differently and for her Harry was still that baby at times. It's one of the things that hurt Elita knowing one day she will have to outlive her son. With a sad sigh she went back into her main body and switched over via shutting down the proxy body.

When her son was safely inside the school Elita then drove off and returned to base knowing they had things to do.

(Scene Break in the Sky)

A dark ship was seen hovering over the planet mainly the European area of it. As it flew the ship was clearly not something you want to see overhead. Inside the ship was a different story as on the bridge was a femme glaring at her crew of Vehicon Troopers.

This was the Decepticon Commander Nightbird and this vessel as her ship the Dark Side. They had followed a trail of Energon to this world and in turn had found it rich with Energon that they intended to harvest.

"Commander." Came another voice which drew Nigthbird attention to it. Standing behind her was the Combaticon Leader Onslaught as he kneeled to his Commanding Officer. "Scans just came in this place is rich with Energon." Onslaught said as he looked to Nightbird.

"Good prepare a scouting party I want them to find an Energon Mine and have it ready for mining." Nightbird ordered as she stood there with her hands behind her back. "We will need it if we are to ensure Lord Megatron has the resources he needs." Nightbird said as she looked to Onslaught. They had intercepted a signal originating from this planet not long after they shot down the Axelon. Deciphering it was a problem, but they were able to figure it out thanks to the aid of some unwilling Autobots they happened across.

Hence why they were here because they knew that Optimus Prime was on this planet. And if Prime's message was to be trusted then this world was rich with Energon ripe for the taking. But first they needed Energon and then they can get to work on their purpose here.

(Later back at the base)

Elita arrived at base after dropping Harry off at school. "Preceptor have you found anymore Energon deposits?" Elita asked as she looked to Preceptor.

"Several but there is cause to be concern." Preceptor began and thus pulled up a new data. "I had detected a vessel of Cybertronian origins arriving." Preceptor said as he looked to Elita. "I believe it's the Dark Side due to how quickly it vanished when it appeared." Preceptor said as Elita looked to this with concern.

"This is concerning." Elita began and thus had orders to give. "Preceptor called back all Autobots to base I don't want anyone going it alone." Elita said showing her concern for her troops.

"Understood." Preceptor said as she sent out the call back signal to the other bots.

"What is going on?" Jetfire asked as he looked to the scene.

"Preceptor may have detected an enemy vessel I want you to head out and do ariel recon see if you can ID the ship if not locate it." Elita said as she looked to Jetfire.

"Consider it done." Jetfire said as he began to leave.

"Remember observation do not engage." Elita warned and thus Jetfire nodded and left the room to hunt himself the Decepticon Ship. Just then the Ground Bridge Whirled to life and in turn the Autobots drove in before transforming to robot mode.

"Yo boss bot what's the call back?" Jazz asked as he looked to Elita in confusion.

"A vessel of possible Decepticon Origin has been detected and I rather not lose any bots anytime soon." Elita said as she looked to the Autobots. "Henceforth any Autobot leaving the base is to be accompanied by a partner." Elita ordered making it clear their safety was her top priority.

Understanding the Autobots knew the order was for their own safety with how few of them were on Earth. "Should we tell the humans?" Ironhide asked as he looked to Elita.

"Yes, they need to be made aware of a possible Decepticon incursion." Elita said as she looked to Ironhide.

"And Harry?" Chromia asked and thus Elita paused as she though it over.

War never has winners only victims and if the war of Cybertron was coming to Earth then it may make a victim out of Harry. But she did not wish to worry him either, but the boy did have a nasty habit of learning things he shouldn't know. For the time being the best thing to do would be to keep Harry in the dark. After all no need to freak someone out over a false alarm but a ship appearing and then vanishing was setting off alerts in Harry's mind.

"If he asks about it be vague no need to worry Harry over a possible Decepticon Incursion that might not even come." Elita said as she looked to her fellow Autobots.

"Understood commander." Preceptor said as everyone understood the order she had given.

"Good now than I do believe I need to pick Harry up." Elita said as she then transformed into vehicle mode. "But first my proxy body." Elita said and thus she drove off back to the house to pick up her proxy form before she goes to pick up Harry.

(Scene Break at the school)

Harry was waiting outside as the teachers were seeing students off to return home. Harry's life was a strange one to say the least to anyone who asked or even found out the truth. After all Harry was being raised by an Autonomous Robotic Organism from the Alien Planet Cybertron. Still, it was a happy life because despite being of a difference species Elita loved Harry as much as any mother would love their child. Harry had already been made aware that Elita wasn't his real mother because quite frankly it was not that hard to see even for children.

But she took him in with the other Autobots and there she raised and loved him like her own. As Harry waited for his mother to arrive, he suddenly heard a familiar engine roar and from down the street she saw a magenta-colored car driving up the road. Harry smiled when he saw her as the door soon opened to reveal her proxy body.

"Hello love have a good day at school?" Elita asked as Harry smiled as the teacher approached Elita.

"Yes, it was fun." Harry responded with a smile much to Elita's joy.

That was of course when the teacher arrived to speak with Elita. "Ms. Elita I must confess your son seems oddly gifted." The Teacher said as Elita nodded to the woman.

"Of course, one of his uncles is quiet attune in research and study. I suppose it rubbed off on him." Elita said knowing Preceptor tended to go overboard on such things at times.

"Happy to hear at least he's more welcoming that the Dursley Child one of my friends from another school has to teach." The teacher said as she then sighed to this. "I swear from her stories alone that boy sounds like none one has ever told him no in his life." The woman said knowing coddling a child like that would only result in tears.

"I see." Elita said as she loaded Harry into the back seat of the car. "Well then I best be off." Elita said and with a nod Elita boarded into her vehicle form and drove off to their next destination.

(Scene Break at the Park)

After a day at school Elita opted to take Harry out to the park. Get him to socialize with children his own age. Elita of course smiled as she walked through the park with her son, holding his hand gently. She swore many times over that Harry was like a smaller Orion Pax before receiving the Matrix of Leadership when Cybertron went dark eons ago. Centuries of War had drained her home planet of its precious fuel source and had left it a barren wasteland.

Despite this she wanted the memory of Cybertron to live on and in turn she and the others have been teaching Harry a bit of Cybertronian History. Elita had also made it a point to teach Harry of the skills she acquired from her time as a Dock Worker. Of course, data monitoring and the other odds ends of exports and imports flew over the child's head much to her crushed hopes. Still the boy took history and enjoyed learning about Cybertron and its ancient past.

Harry had often commented that the Predacons reminded him of story book creatures he read, and Elita admitted to a similarity being noted there. It was something to look into but at a later date as her focus was on Harry. Now Ironhide of course had taught Harry about tactics and Chromia was a big help with that and oddly Harry soaked that up like a sponge. Elita smirked as they came near a football game being played in one of the parks open areas. The red side had the scoring advantage so far, but they seemed to be tiring. The blue team however was keeping better control of the ball. It was only a few teenagers, not the professionals she'd usually use, but they did have two full teams. She stopped their walk and gestured to the field with Sparkplug sitting down next to the pair.

"Tell me, what do you think the outcome of this game will be?" Elita asked as she kneeled down next to him so they could talk equally, a tactic she took during lessons to make sure that he didn't look to her for every answer but knew he could come to her if he truly needed.

Harry grinned at her, then turned to watch the game for a moment. He took in both teams individually at first, watching how each side played, and who they had playing what positions, then the game as a whole and how each played against the other. He nodded after a moment, before turning to her.

"The blue team has the better chance of winning in the long run. Their problem is they have the wrong person as goalkeeper. You can tell he isn't used to the position. The red team though isn't as talented in dealing with the ball and scoring. They've managed to get a few shots in, but they're wearing out and running out of tricks. The blue team will overwhelm the red goalkeeper before long." Harry said after taking a moment to analyze the game.

"Good, and a very accurate analysis. Now, how would you solve their goalie problem?" Elita asked as she wanted to see how Harry would solve this. She knew Harry had the spirit of a Prime inside him, but she didn't try to get his hopes up or make him into trying to become that.

Harry thought about this one for a good few minutes before gesturing to one of players on the field. "Put him as goalie." Harry began after a few minutes of pause. "You can tell he's good at what he's doing, but he still has the instinct to reach for the ball with his hands." Harry analyzed the game before looking back to his mother. "My bet is he was a goalie before, though why he isn't playing there already I couldn't tell you." The six-year-old finished looked up at Elita.

Elita smiled to this seeing how smart her adoptive son was becoming. "Very good, and just what I'd do." She agreed happy to see Harry took their small lessons to heart. "Now..." Elita began until was interrupted by a yell. The pair in turn looked to the source and found that the source of the sound was a girl yelling.

Their eyes narrowed at what they saw and it boiled Harry's blood over what they saw. The pair saw that a small girl with bushy brown hair about Harry's age was being pushed to the ground by a larger boy with two of his friends surrounding her. They were too far away to hear what was being said, but it was obvious they were picking on her because of her books for some reason.

Of course, before Elita could try to stop him Harry was already making his way to the scene before him. Elita knew her adoptive sparkling had a tendency, to jump in when he felt something wrong being done to others. It often made Elita think of Harry as a younger Orion Pax before the great war that left Cybertron barren. Harry truly had become her sparkling in every way that mattered and for Elita she was grateful for that.

Elita swore that there was more of her in Harry then Orion Pax because Elita always was one to spring into action when something was array. With a small sigh she followed after Harry hoping to put a stop to this before it escalated. Elita tried to make sure Harry went for a peaceful solution first before resorting to using violence. Elita arrived to see Harry snatching the book away from the bullies much to their surprise.

"I don't know why you guys are picking on her, but you should probably leave now." Harry said with a diplomatic tone as he handed the book back to the girl.

"Says who you little punk?" The leader as Elita watched the event go on ready to jump in if need be.

"I'm not exactly ordering you; I'm just offering you the chance to walk away before it escalates." Harry said as he looked to the bullies around him.

"GET HIM!" The leader yelled to his two companions causing Elita to sigh to this.

Elita just leaned against a nearby tree as she watched. Harry easily slipped between the two rushing at his back, placing all of his opponents in front of him with him between them and the girl. As they came at him Harry dodged the two as he weaved around them and tripped the duo causing them to fall. Elita was impressed how Harry only used minimal force against the pair. Acting fast Harry managed to kick the third one in the stomach causing the air to be pushed upward. Grabbing his stomach, the boy stumbled back and began to cough from the attack he endured.

The other two got back up only for Harry to dodged them and trip one before grabbing the third and slamming him onto his downed friend. "Leave and take your friends with you this is your last chance." Harry said before he turned his head back to look at the girl. "And if I ever hear of you picking on her again, I won't be as nice next time." Harry added and in turn the boys quickly got themselves together and ran off in the other direction. Elita started to slowly walk toward Harry as he helped the shocked girl to her feet.

"Harry are you ok?" Elita asked as she looked to her son only for Harry to focus on the girl.

"I'm fine mum it's her I'm worried about." Harry said as he focused on the young girl. Elita saw this and noticed something that erected an old memory of hers. Of course, ages were different as were biology, but the situation was more or less similar just take away the bullying aspect and it was similar to how she and Orion met. "Hi I'm Harry, Harry Potter. That is me mum Elena Alberts." Harry introduced as he looked to the surprised girl using the name Elita told Harry so keep people from learning who she really was.

"I... I... I'm Hermione... wh... why did you do that? Why didn't you just stop them?" Hermione asked as she looked between Harry and Elita on the questions.

"Well two reason one I have a firm belief of allowing Harry to fight his own battles when needed. More so I doubt I could have stopped him due to his utter distaste of bullies." Elita explained as she looked to Hermione.

"Yeah, and even if I got an adult they would just try again when an adult wasn't around." Harry said as he knew how their tactics work. After all one does not grow up around war vets and not pick up a few tricks.

"Harry is right by having someone your own age stand, up for you it means he could be around when an adult isn't and isn't held to the same limits an adult would be." Elita explained as she viewed it from the point of both a soldier and a politician. "All I would be able to do is stop them and tell their parents. Harry can fight back without fear of too much reprisal." Elita added as she knew parents would always protect their own before anyone else's.

"Oh..." Hermione said as she just stared at Elita. "But... isn't fighting wrong?" She asked and in turn Elita sighed as she had this conversation long ago with another back on Cybertron during the dawn of the war.

"It depends on what you're fighting for that decides if fighting is right or wrong." Elita said as she looked to Hermione. "To change a society would be a good reason to fight but what sort of society do you want to make one where freedom is traded for peace and security or one where all matter of life is free to make their own choices to be who they want to be and not what others brand them to be." Elita said as Hermione saw what Elita meant.

"I suppose I'd choose freedom over tyranny." Hermione said as she saw it from the view of a child but even, she understood that trading freedom for peace was not the way to change a society.

Just then Harry spoke up as he looked to Elita. "Mum, can we take her for ice cream?" Harry asked grinning causing Hermione's eyes to light up.

"I guess, though we should probably let her parents know, if they're around... or..." Elita trailed off looking to Hermione her question clear.

"We just live down the street. I usually walk here to read." Hermione said as she held up her book as Elita's optics gave it a look over.

While the subject may have a primitive from her perspective, she also saw that for a human it was quite advance for one as young as her. "That's an upper-level science book. Are you in an advanced class Hermione?" Elita asked as she suspected Preceptor and Ratchet would have enjoyed this girl's company.

"Um... No ma'am, but I am the best student in my class, so I guess I just read ahead." Hermione said as she blushed more causing Elita to chuckle a bit.

"Well come along, let's go see your parents, and then get ice-cream." Elita said and in turn the trio began to head over to where Hermione lived.

(Scene Break Hogwarts)

Dumbledore sighed as he waited for the rest of the Order and his school staff to arrive. He'd been distracted since Harry disappeared, but he still had responsibilities; and he was attempting to see to them all. So far that had proved difficult, but manageable. Still, he'd been unable to find any trace of Harry or any reason for the blood wards to be active. It didn't make any sense.

He looked up as the doors opened, letting in the teaching staff first, "Minerva, Severus, Filius, Pamona, good evening. " Dumbledore greeted as he smiled at the new arrivals.

"You look tired, Headmaster." Professor McGonagall said as she settled into her usual seat.

"I have been researching on what or who had taken Harry from his aunt's care without the wards alerting me." Dumbledore said as he sighed with the air of a tired old man. "Alas, I'm no closer to answers than I was five years ago." Dumbledore said as it was clear he was running out of avenues to research

"It is like nothing I have ever heard," Filius said as he looked to Dumbledore. "Who could have taken Harry in spite of the wards meant to hide him?" Filius asked as he was worried for the boy. "More so how have they remained hidden for so long?" Filius added and in turn Moody spoke up.

"Constant Vigilance!" Moody bellowed as he came into the room. "Whoever it is knows there's Death Eaters still about." He said as his eyes both tracked over Snape for a moment. "And they're not taking any chances." Moddy said while glaring at Snape.

"Ah, Alastor, welcome." Dumbledore said as he smiled to the old Auror. "I'd thought you'd be busy at the ministry." Dumbledore said as he was happy to see one of their best had arrived.

"Not till the latest class graduates the auror academy." Moody grumbled as he was no doubt not happy about it. "They're making me take on students. So far none have lived up to my standards." Moody growled as he sat down with the group. "Damn fools wouldn't know a Death Eater from a flobber worm." He snarled a bit and thus Snape rolled his eyes.

"Really," Snape drawled no doubt not bothering with Moody. "I thought the Ministry had already declared all of The Dark Lord's followers captured or freed from his imperious." Snape said and thus earned a glare from Moody.

Moody just growled, then turned to Dumbledore. "Who are we waiting on?" Moody asked as he looked to Dumbledore.

"Remus, Hagrid, and Mundungus" Dumbledore provided for the old Auror. "They should be arriving any minute." Dumbledore said as he had made sure this meeting was nowhere close to a full moon.

"Really, Headmaster, is there any reason to invite Lupin to these meetings? Like as not, he's one of the ones behind Potter's disappearance." Snape sneered no doubt making his assumption clear.

"Truly, I wish I were Severus," Lupin said as he came into the room, with Hagrid and Mundungus Fletcher in tow. "Alas, I was not made aware of the headmaster's plans till after Harry had disappeared. Had I known, I'd have fought them. Lilly was adamant that Harry never be given to her sister." Remus said making his stance on the subject clear as day.

"As I told you, Remus, it was necessary for the blood wards that protect Harry." Dumbledore said defending his actions, but Remus would not have it.

"The blood wards that still failed?" Remus pointed out almost accusing Dumbledore on this. "I told you professor, I am helping because I am worried for Harry, but if you try to put him into Petunia's care, my help will end." Remus said as he sat down making it clear that werewolf or not Harry was not going to a place he'd likely be abused.

"Has there been ANY progress?" Dumbledore asked trying to change the subject while he looked to everyone in the room.

"None," Moody growled no doubt unhappy with himself for this. "I've been checking all the official records I could at the Ministry, it's like the entire Potter family vanished. They're still listed, but any defining information on them is... as if it's under Fidelius." Moody said as he knew something was amiss.

"Quiet, even their seat on the Wizengamot is frozen, as if it's waiting for the proper person to take his place. We didn't know about that till the chosen proxy tried to take the seat till Harry came of age. The magic of the court ejected them." Dumbledore said with a sigh as he was there when that happened. Since the Potters never had need of a proxy before no one was aware of the magic involved with the seat having such protections. "What's more, after that occurred, one other seat froze as well." Dumbledore said as he looked to the group.

"What seat Albus?" Filius asked as he looked to the headmaster just as confused as everyone else.

"Oddly enough, the seat of the Black Family." Dumbledore said as he shook his head. "Which doesn't make sense since while Sirius Black is the current head of the family, he cannot claim his seat since he is in Azkaban. I can't understand why his seat would be frozen." Dumbledore said as Remus found this oddly suspicious.

"It obviously has something to do with Harry." Remus said as he suspected something off about this.

"Really, Lupin? You expect to claim that Potter is the heir to Blac?" Snape sneered as he glared at Remus.

"I know he is the heir to the Potter line, obviously, but what claim about the other seat?" Dumbledore asked.

"Magical Heir to the Black family, since Sirius has no son. Before he betrayed us, he made Harry his magical heir as his godson." Remus shrugged as he looked to the group. "But you must admit it's too much of a coincidence to ignore." Remus said as he made his thoughts known. Still things were not adding up why make Harry his heir if he was planning on killing Harry for Voldemort. It didn't add up and for Remus his mind was trying to find a piece of a puzzle that went missing on that fateful night.

"This still does not help us find him, however." Dumbledore provided as the group saw the fact there. "What about your contacts, Severus?" Dumbledore asked turning to Severus.

"Unfortunately, Headmaster, my old compatriots are just as baffled as you in this regard." Snape began as he looked to the group. "None can find any means of locating Potter, and I know of a few who have tried. So far, any efforts have come back... it is as if he doesn't exist. There's no magical means available that have been able to find him." Snape said as he looked to the group. "And considering the one who was found dead in full Death Eater attire I suspect he may have found something and was put down for his efforts." Snape said suggesting one of the Death Eaters found Harry and was in turn slaughtered by the one who was no doubt protecting the boy.

"Hmm..." Remus spoke before an idea popped into his head. "Have any of us tried to find him through Muggle means?" Remus offered as he looked to the group.

"Are you suggesting that some muggle might be hiding him? A muggle who knows how to block him from every form of magical detection attempted?" Snape sneered as he glared at Remus. "Come Lupin, I thought you were the smart one of your band of misfits." Severus said as he looked to the werewolf.

"I'm afraid Severus is right Remus," Dumbledore sighed seeing that as an impossibility. "The chance that a muggle could hide themselves so completely..." Dumbledore said but Remus already had a counter for that.

"Ah, but perhaps it is a witch or wizard hiding as a muggle?" Remus said much to everyone's shock. "Or at least a muggle who has a contact in the form of a Witch or Wizard." He added and thus this got the gears turning.

"But who? And why?" McGonagall asked now seeing where Remus went with this. "It doesn't make sense." McGonagall said as she did not know why anyone would take Harry like this.

"Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be true." Remus said with a shrug while quoting the famous Sherlock Holmes.

"What are you saying Lupin?" Snape asked with a sneer as he suspected Remus was getting somewhere with this.

"It's not any of Voldemort's followers, nor any of us in the order, nor does the Ministry have any idea who it is." Remus began as he looked to his allies. "That means it's a new player, someone we've never heard of before, nor do we have any idea of their motivation, or resources." He said before he looked over to Dumbledore. "I have a feeling that when we do see Harry again, that none of us will be prepared for it." Remus said as inside he hoped it was a good thing.

"I do fear you're right, Remus..." Dumbledore said with a sigh seeing the logic in Remus line of thought.

"If this is the case, we have a new avenue to explore in locating Harry." Remus said as he had the most experience navigating the Muggle World. "If he is truly living in the Muggle World then he would not doubt have school records and with those School Records we can track him down." Remus said and in turn it became clear to Dumbledore that Remus had a plan.

"If it may aid us then please begin your search posthaste Remus." Dumbledore said and thus Remus nodded to the headmaster. Unaware to him Remus also had something else he wanted to look into. After all you don't make someone your heir if you plan to kill them. Remus wasn't as smart as him and even this sort of scheme seemed too complex for Sirius.

But unaware to them this group ran the risk of exposing the magical world to a war that had been waged for countless eons.

In an old Missile Silo a large computer was seen with a white mech similar to Elita and her team was seen. The base looked new and recently built as the Mech's body had signs of an emergency response vehicle. He then noticed something on his scanners and went wide eyed to this. "Optimus our scanners have detected an Autobot signature from Europe." The old mech said and from nearby a large form approached as he looked to the screen and the mech. "It matches up to the Axelon, Optimus do you think…" The mech began and in turn the mech looked to the screen.

"This requires investigation, but we will need to clear it with Special Agent Fowler." Optimus said as he looked to the medic. "Europe is a foreign nation and as guests upon this world we must abide by its laws." Optimus said making it clear not to make a move unless their hosts ok it.

"Very well I will contact Agent Fowler." Ratchet said as he got to work but he knew Optimus had other thoughts. After all the Axelon was one of the first ships to depart Cybertron during the exodus and had not been heard from since. No doubt Optimus was hoping to reunite with one who was most dear to him.

As Optimus took his leave, he would need to make a few plans to scout the area of the signals. 'Elita, please be there.' Optimus thought as he long desired to see his love. He had given up hope of ever seeing her again when the Ark had left Cybertron, but this may be a chance for the two to at long last reunite.
