Magic Among Cybertron

(Start Country Road)
It has been two weeks since Elita and Harry met Hermione and in turn her family. Jazz was seen in vehicle mode driving down the road out on patrol for new Energon signatures. But it was boring so as Jazz drove, he struck on conversation with Moonracer to pass the time. Harry was at school, so he was not available for a conversation at the moment. The Autobot 1st Lieutenant was a bit of a mellow guy, and he only talks without end when he was really bored with nothing to do. Harry was great friends with Hermione as they both tend to interchange what they did from a day-to-day basis. Either they spend the day reading or they spend the day outside playing some game.
Anyway, Elita had become something of a role model for the girl and the Grangers loved having Harry around giving Elita an excuse for a babysitter if need be. Hermione on the other had been a joy to have around as well even if she was unaware of the Autobots. Elita had been making it an effort to have Harry interact with his own kind so he can identify with them better but at the same time Elita had a tendency, to smother the boy with love.
It was a miracle he hadn't become spoiled yet, but life is as life does for the most part. SO back to his current task Jazz was driving patrolling for Energon and/or Decepticons which had been a no show even now. And with how quiet it was it was the reason why Jazz was so bored right now. "So, there I was parked all nice and relaxed when all of sudden this light show came in from my rear-view mirror and then it hit me. I'm illegally parked." Jazz announced as he drove through the roads.
"Did you get another speeding ticket?" Moonracer asked as the young Femme was curious as well as a bit suspicious.
"Kid I got better this time; I got the boot." Jazz announced as he continued driving keeping an optic on his scanners.
"Big metal tire clamp impossible to remove." Moonracer said as she got at least ONE of those in her life.
"Bingo so I let the good old bobbies do their thing and let them go up a block before I have a bit of fun. When they got close that's when I let them have it." Jazz regaled the tale as he got a kick out of it. "So, I ditched my new shoes and then... BAM!" Jazz called out and thus Moonracer chucked.
"Our happy men in blue mess themselves." Moonracer chuckled at what Jazz announced.
"Well, you know how it rolls Jazz can either be smooth or he can be banging." Jazz announced as this got a chuckle from Moonracer on her end.
"Honestly, I'm not sure how that complies with Autobot rule number one keep a low profile." Moonracer said as she was also driving scouting for Energon.
"Come on kid don't be like that Harry loves my stories." Jazz announced as Moonracer smiled a bit. "Speaking of Harry heard he and the little missy are going to have another play date or something." Jazz said as Moonracer chuckled.
"I think it's just sweet though I'm wondering if Harry will ever introduce us to them." Moonracer said with a sad tone.
"Come on Moony don't be like that one day, I'm sure." Jazz began but then his sensors picked up on something. "Hang on I just picked up a signal." Jazz announced as he continued to drive.
"Need backup?" Moonracer asked with concern knowing of Elita's buddy rule.
"Sure, meet me at the coordinates once I send them." Jazz said as he sped up and went off road to locate the signal. It didn't take him long as he got to a clearing with blue crystals sticking out of it. "Baby yeah get the cubes ready because Energon is on me tonight!" Jazz cheered as he saw the Energon Crystals before him.
Just then he saw a large shadow cast over him making the Autobot widen his opticus. "Or not." Jazz added and thus Jazz transformed and looked up to see the source. "Decepticons." Jazz announced as he saw the Cons were in fact on Earth now.
In turn a laser turret aimed and locked on Jazz before firing upon him. The blast was enough to send Jazz flying after trying to avoid the shot. He landed among the Energon Crystals. As Jazz got back up, he glared at the ship and from it he saw a familiar set of figures drop down from above. Upon closer inspection Jazz saw that they were Vehicon Troopers with the Combaticons leading them.
"Oh scrap." Jazz cursed as he realized he was facing a combiner team. "I'm going to need that backup now." Jazz called to Base knowing full well he was in trouble.
"We're getting everyone together just hold on!" Moonracer responded as the only one who could make it was Jetfire.
Upon realizing he was on his on Jazz got ready to fight. "Word of warning Cons… I'm smooth and deadly." Jazz said and in turn transformed before driving uphill to face the Cons. Maxing out his speed he flew upward before transforming again and slamming down on them. The combaticons stepped back as Jazz began to fight off the Vehicon grunts while the Combaticons looked ready to jump in. Jazz held his hold as best he could but not only was he outnumbered but he was out gunned as well.
Still Jazz was an Autobot and chose to stand his ground however long that would take him. Just then Jazz was blindsided by Onslaught who cracked his visor with a punch. Following his leader Brawl grabbed Jazz by the head and slammed his knee into the Autobot's face. This went on as Blast Off and Vortex joined in followed by Swindle. Jazz was no match for the Cons as they took immense pleasure in beating down the Autobot. Brawl then grabbed Jazz before tossing him into the Energon Crystals.
Jazz coughed from the beat down that the Combaticons gave him be he wasn't down yet. Just then he heard a beeping sound which made the Autobot worried. Looking down to the source the Autobot saw one of the Cons threw a grenade down making Jazz go wide eyed realizing where he was. "Uh-oh." Jazz gulped and in turn tried to run to cover. But alas it was too late and in turn Jazz was blasted forward due to the explosion by the Grenade and the Energon's volatile nature. Jazz was on the ground not long after leaking Energon as the Decepticons laughed at his misfortune while Jazz simply glared at the combiners promising them some dings. They in turn grabbed Jazz and began to drag him off to the ship either to interrogate him or worse.
(Later up on the Dark Side)
Nightbird glared at the scene as she clenched her servos angry over what the Combaticons had just done. "By the pit Onslaught we needed that." Nightbird growled as she glared at the scene. But speak of the devil because soon the door bend Nightbird opened and from its Vortex and Blast Off were seen dragging Jazz before Nightbird with the other Combaticons following after them.
"Hey Nightbird, haven't seen you in a while… how's Megatron's berth treating you?" Jazz taunted as Nightbird glanced to the side.
"Oh, if only." She mumbled to herself actually wanting a bit of that, but she knew her place in Megatron's world. "You on the other hand Autobot have cost me a good deal of Energon." Nightbird said as she held her clawed finger under Jazz head.
"You want an apology Con?" Jazz asked as Nightbird then grabbed Jazz's head and smirked.
"No, I have a much more effective solution." Nightbird said as she stood back up and walked off a bit.
"Scrap him and clean up the mess once you lot are done." Nightbird ordered and in turn the Combaticons got moving.
"Combaticons kill him." Onslaught ordered and thus Jazz knew what was coming.
Brawl then punched Jazz in the head before Swindle grabbed one of his arms. Dragging him a bit Blast Off proceeded to grab his leg before the Combaticons began to tear him the Autobots apart. Jazz cried out in pain but was quickly silenced when Onslaught tore off Jazz's head allowing it to roll on the ground his spark extinguished.
(Back at the Energon Deposit)
After the Dark Side flew off Jetfire flew in and transformed only to go wide eyed at the damage. "Jazz respond!" Jetfire called out to his communications hoping Jazz would answer. "JAZZ!" Jetfire called out again but was met with static from the wayward bot.
Just then the ground bridge opened and from it the rest of Elita's team drove out and in turn saw Jetfire there. "Jetfire where is Jazz?" Elita asked and in turn Jetfire responded with only silence.
Perceptor began to scan for the missing bot's life sign but only found the ones there with Jazz showing zero life signs. "No." The Wrecker gasped as he realized what this meant. "Jazz's spark… has been extinguished." Perceptor mournfully announced as the Autobots were wide eyed by this revelation.
Meanwhile Elita clenched her servos at the loss of one of their own this day. But she had to keep strong not only for those under her command but for when she had to tell Harry of their loss today. Still, this was going to be hard to tell Harry when he returned home later.
(Scene Break that same evening)
At the School Board building Remus was carefully searching through all the files the government had on schooling. He didn't doubt that finding the information he wanted would be difficult, but it should be doable. All children from the ages of five to sixteen were required to be educated in some form, either by state funded schools or otherwise.
Remus doubted that Harry was in a normal school. After all, for someone to go through all the trouble of hiding him this way clearly did not want Harry to be found. Remus theorized that Harry would have to be at least in a private school or home schooled. Still, better to search any way, just in case he was in a public school. The werewolf sighed as he put up another set of files, before taking out the next.
He knew it'd be several days maybe even weeks' worth of searching before he found what he was looking for. But it was the last avenue he could think of that could help in finding Harry. He scanned the files he'd pulled out and decided to just copy them and search them at home. He muttered a few quick spells, copying and shrinking the files before slipping them into his pocket. After making sure he was not seen he began to make his way out of the building. After all, once he got home, he had a lot of searching that would need to be done.
(Scene Break the next day)
Elita and her remaining Autobots stood atop a clearing at Axelon Base. Standing before them was a mound of rocks made to simulate a grave. "We have lost one of our own." Elita said as among the Autobots Harry was seen clearly upset judging by the sad expression he had. "On this day we six are the few remaining Autobots on this world." Elita said as she now knew for a fact the Decepticons were on Earth.
"Despite this loss we must carry on if not for the memory of Jazz, then for ourselves, for the memory of Cybertron, for any Autobots in any Galaxy seeking safe refuge, and to humankind." Elita said adding the last part with a glance to the saddened Harry who was on Ironhide's shoulder.
Moonracer then turned around and began to walk away her servos clenched hard enough to be shaking. "Moonracer?" Elita began as she saw the way their scout moved. Moonracer was the last one to speak to Jazz before his Spark had been extinguished Primus only knows what is going through the young femme scout's processor at the moment.
"Sorry commander but… the Cons snuffed Jazz and standing around her moping won't bring him back. Right now, humankind needs us if they want to stand a chance against the Decepticon forces." Moonracer said as she looked to her commanding Officer.
"I understand but do not let emotions cloud your judgement." Elita urged and in turn Moonracer walked off to start patrolling for Energon and any Decepticon activity in the area.
(Scene Break the Grangers)
It's been two days since Hermione had seen Harry and needless to say the little girl was worried for her possibly only friend. From what her teacher told her Harry was going through a tragedy and while Elena was in close contact with her parents, they haven't been forth coming with why Harry wasn't at school. Hermione began to worry as it wasn't like Harry to be out of contact.
It wasn't until later that day did, she finally find out what happened. "Is Harry, ok?" Hermione asked to her parents who looked to be preparing for guests.
"Somewhat sweetie." Emma said as she looked to her daughter. She had to admit Elena and Harry were godsends to her daughter when they had arrived. Her daughter was always lonely and the target for bullying. It was thanks to Elena and Harry that Hermione managed to gain confidence in herself as well as learn to defend herself should the need arrive.
"Harry just went through a great loss recently and has been spending time with immediate family to cope with it." Dan, Hermione's father, said as he knew the poor boy must have taken the loss hard. "So, Elena hoping to help asked if we can watch Harry for a couple hours while she's at work." Dan said as he looked to Hermione who heard Harry was hurting.
"What can I do to help?" Hermione asked hoping she can do something anything to help Harry.
"Just be there for him but don't push him he will talk when he is ready." Dan said as he knew his daughter would do right by her friend.
"Ok." Hermione said with a nod and thus went about helping her friends get ready for company. After all Hermione would always be there when Harry needed her because it's, what friends do.
(Scene Break the Dark Side)
On the Dark Side in the Command Bridge Nightbird stood there once more as Slipstream approached the femme leader. "We are ready to deploy by your orders commander." Slipstream reported as she did a small bow to the Commanding Officer of the Dark Side.
"Good and our preliminary scouting?" Nightbird asked as she glared at Slipstream.
"Beyond the dead Autobot… there are several others within the area." Slipstream reported but had more to share. "But I do know that the Autobots have made contact with a small group of humans." Slipstream said and thus showed the data on the humans in question. Nightbird saw them and in turn smirked as she knew how Autobots cared deeply for their allies. "Shall we use them to our advantage?" Slipstream asked as she looked to Nightbird.
"Yes, we shall." Nightbird confirmed and thus with a small bow Slipstream took her leave to begin preparations for their hostages.
(Scene Break Granger Home)
Late in the afternoon Harry and Hermione were seen at the Grangers home after Elita had dropped the boy off. Needless to say, Dan and Emma could see the effects of loss on the boy. It's never easy to lose a loved one no matter who you are or how old you are. It affects everyone and thankfully in the case of Harry he had a support group to help him get through the loss. Hermione had been one of Harry's biggest supporters on his loss and was always there when he needed to talk and stepped back if he needed his space at the moment. Still the pain of loss was a tough thing to endure and in turn move on from especially if it's the loss of a family member.
Though the day spent with the Grangers did good for Harry seeing as the boy was smiling more as he spent time with Hermione. The bookworm and her best friend were a joy when they were together and when they were apart Dan had often sworn Hermione was counting down the time, she and Harry would see each other again. But as time goes all good things must come to an end as after supper it came time to take Harry back home to his mother for the evening.
"Mum does Harry have to go home tonight?" Hermione asked while giving a cute pout over having to see Harry return to his mother.
"Come now luv I know you like having Harry around, but his mum is no doubt already returning from work already." Emma said as she also enjoyed having the boy around. But his mother was no doubt expecting him home soon and would no doubt want to be with him to help him get through the loss the family had experienced.
"Can I at least come?" Hermione asked hoping to milk every second she could to be with her best friend.
"I don't see why not?" Dan cut in as he knew how much Hermione looked up to Harry's mother. The woman was a good role model for his daughter if Dan would say so himself. "Now go get ready pumpkin." Dan said and thus with a nod Hermione went to get her shoes and coat.
(Later driving on the road)
The four were filed inside the Grangers car as they began driving over to Harry's house to return him home. All was peaceful for the moment as Harry sat next to Hermione while they drove. But as they drove Hermione kept making glances at Harry worried for him wondering if he was doing ok after losing a relative of his.
They drove and were unaware of a small group of cars driving their way about two in total. "Harry how are you?" Hermione asked as she looked to Harry.
"I'm doing better I suppose." Harry said as he knew why Hermione was asking. It didn't escape his notice that the Grangers were trying to help him with his loss. Jazz was a splendid uncle to have, and Harry would miss the smooth talking Autobot's voice. But as it stands, he was gone and with it showing that the Earth may in fact be in danger from the Decepticons.
"Harry… I can't lie and say it will get better." Dan said suddenly as he spoke up. "The pain of a lost loved one it never truly goes away." Dan went on as he tried to help Harry. "But just know your not the only one to suffer such a loss." Dan said and in turn Harry nodded in understand the meaning of the Dentists Words.
"Thank you." Harry said and thus everyone began to smile in response to this.
All was well and happy until suddenly they were blindsided. From out of nowhere the Grangers car was slammed into from the side T-Boning it and even pushing it off the road much to the shock of many. Glass shards went flying as the car was forced off the road by the collision.
Everyone was shell shocked from the event as they all began coughing a bit from some dust. "Is everyone ok?" Dan asked as he looked to everyone.
"Yes." Harry responded as he grabbed his glasses off from the floor. Just then much to their shock the ground shook and from the windows what appeared to be massive fingers came through and to their shared horror lifted the car upward. Everyone began to panic grabbing on to anything stable that they could reach as the car was shaken almost like the hands were trying to force the cars roof off. Just then to their surprise the roof came off and the car fell to the ground do to weight and gravity.
After a small bounce everyone began to gather themselves and in turn Harry went wide eyed at what he saw. "Decepticons." Harry gasped and in turn glaring down at them was a Decepticon in blue as his red eyes carried a malice against them.
"Commander Nightbird this is Dropkick I have the targets permission to maim them?" Dropkick requested much to the group's horror as the other two cars transformed into what could amount to grunt units.
"Denied bring them to me alive and in one piece." Nightbird ordered and in turn the Dropkick scoffed to this.
"I never get to have any fun." Dropkick said and thus was about to grab the group. But before the Grangers could make a run with Harry out of nowhere another car zoomed in and transformed into the Femme Moonracer who kicked Dropkick in the face. Dropkick was sent flying as Moonracer used her blasters to shoot up the Vehicon troopers.
"Are you all ok?" She asked with urgency to the group.
"Y-yes." Emma gasped as Moonracer then saw the Cons getting back up.
"Scrap." Moonracer cursed and thus transformed back into vehicle mode with her car doors open. "Get in hurry!" Moonracer called out and seeing their car was useless the Grangers were hesitant. But Harry wasn't and thus the boy unbuckled himself and charged for Moonracer.
"Harry wait!" Dan called out but Harry wasn't scared.
"Don't worry she's a friend!" Harry called out and seeing their attackers getting back up knew they had to hurry. Once they unbuckled themselves, they got into Moonracer and once they were strapped in Moonracer revved her engine and zoomed off.
Dropkick seeing this began firing at Moonracer trying to stop her only to be surprised when she pulled a doughnut around him and zoomed off.
"After the Autobot!" Dropkick ordered and in turn he and the two Vehicons transformed and gave chase to Moonracer.
(With Moonracer and the Grangers)
"What the Bloody hell was that?!" Dan asked as Moonracer saw through her rearview that the Cons were giving chase.
"Mr. and Mrs. Granger this is awkward, and this was not how I expected us to meet in person." Moonracer apologized as she drove.
"Wait you know us?" Emma asked and thus Harry spoke up.
"Don't worry big sister Moonracer is a friend." Harry said oddly happy that Hermione and her parents were meeting the Autobots even if the situation was not dire. Just then laser fire went off behind them causing Moonracer to start avoiding it.
"Frag. Moonracer to base requesting immediate backup!" Moonracer called to her communicator as she needed the help of the other Bots right now.
Carefully weaving through traffic Moonracer was trying to lead the Cons away from any populated areas as they chased after her. It would seem that luck was on their side as suddenly sirens were heard suggesting law enforcement or emergency services. Following it up was a police car blaring its sirens chasing down the Decepticons.
Just then the car weaved passed one of the Vehicons and then bashed the other one sending both tumbling away. Once that was done the car zoomed on passed Dropkick cutting him off from his pursuit. Dropkick snarled at the Autobot and to the shock of the Grangers watching from the rearview mirror Dropkick transformed again into a helicopter and continued to give chase from above.
"Scrap." Moonracer cursed when she saw the Triple Changer that was now chasing her from the sky. "Hang on we're going off road!" Moonracer called out and thus to the passenger's surprise Moonracer drove off the road and to what looked to be a drain river so she would have more space to maneuver.
As they drove Emma saw through the Rearview the Vehicons were still on their tail. "They're still chasing us!" Emma called out and thus Moonracer realized she would have to fight her way out of this. She then saw a pipe that the humans could fit inside and had an idea. Swerving to the pipe she came to a stop and opened her doors again. "Hurry inside the pipe!" Moonracer ordered and with a nod the four humans filed out and got inside the pipe. Once they were out Moonracer drove at the Vehicons before transforming into robot mode and fired her weapons at the Cons as she skidded past them. The Cons were hit and thus transformed into robot mode themselves glaring at Moonracer.
"Let's do this cons." Moonracer challenged and thus charged at the Decepticons itching to let out her rage on them for Jazz. With fast and quick attacks Moonracer was going hand-to-hand against the Decepticon grunts. But after a few short swings the Vehicons glared at her and thus Moonracer backflipped away to avoid their laser fire.
Just then from the rode Red Alert came in, transformed, and fired at the Cons hitting them with his shots. "Moonracer what do I always say? Stay alert!" Red Alert called out as he stood with Moonracer.
"Sorry they were tougher than I thought." Moonracer countered as the two Bots were ready for battle.
"Yeah well… Incoming!" Red Alert yelled the last part as from above Dropkick began firing down upon the Autobots who ran over to the nearest cover they can find. Once they were in cover the Autobots stayed in the cover as the Grangers were in the pipe hiding from the violence. "Jetfire, we need air support, Harry and the Grangers are in the crossfire!" Red Alert called to his communicator and just then get engines were heard.
From the sky Jetfire flew in and fired at Dropkick catching the Decepticon off guard and in turn forcing him to transform into his Robot Mode. Once Dropkick was on the ground Jetfire also transformed into his robot mode and joined the Autobots. The Autobots got ready for the next bout as they all took a battle stance together with Jetfire being the tallest of the three Autobots.
The Grangers saw what was going on and saw that they might be here for a while with the odds evened out. That was until of course a truck horn was heard and from nearby all eyes saw a red pick-up truck driving in. Once it got close enough it then transformed into a robot as well revealing that it was none other than Ironhide.
"Hey Decepti-chumps you feeling lucky?" Ironhide challenged as the Decepticons saw they were outnumbered and out gunned now.
"Decepticons fall back!" Dropkick ordered and thus the three cons went vehicle mode and drove off to live and fight another day.
"Oh, come back I haven't even showed you, my cannons!" Ironhide called out but alas they were gone.
Meanwhile Moonracer went to the pipe she left the humans at and thus saw the surprised faces of the Grangers and the happy face of Harry. "Hello, Harry sorry you had to see that." Moonracer apologized as she looked to Harry with concern. "Are you ok?" She asked and in turn Harry smiled.
"I'm fine Moonracer." Harry responded as Emma then had to ask.
"Harry what or who are these things?" Emma asked and thus Harry smiled to the Granger Matriarch.
"Family." Harry said and thus Moonracer transformed once again.
"If you would like to know more… get in." Moonracer said as the Autobots transformed as well waiting on the Grangers.
"A Guard convoy." Dans aid as he knew one when he saw it.
"Don't worry you can trust them." Harry said as clearly the boy trusted these alleged Autobots with his life.
(Later Autobot Base Axelon)
Needless to say, the Grangers were shocked by what they saw when they eventually made it to Harry's house. Now it was not the actual house itself but the mountain area behind it that shocked them. After they went to the dirt trail that led behind the house the Autobots drove up to a stone wall which of course scared the Grangers. Of course, that was before it opened up to reveal a doorway to what they assumed was a secret base of operations as they drove into the base.
What they were met with was a massive chamber with a raised area that could pass for a living room humans would use. On the large computer Terminal was Perceptor as he the former Wrecker was monitoring for Decepticon Activity. Nearby was Chromia who was at the moment cleaning her rifle ensuring it was ready for the next combat mission. Ironhide and Red Alert then transformed into Robot mode and joined with their fellow Autobots as Jetfire had to land before he can transform himself.
"Wait where's the flying one?" Hermione asked suddenly after Moonracer stopped and let the group off before transforming herself.
Speak of the devil and he shall appear because from another hallway Jetfire was seen walking in. "Was someone asking about me?" Jetfire asked as he looked to the humans.
"I apologize for this meeting." Elita spoke as she walked into the main meeting area while the humans climbed the steps to the living room area. "I had truly wished it was under better circumstances." Elita added and in turn Harry saw she was here.
"Mum!" Harry called out as the Grangers were shocked by this.
"Wait mum?!" Dan asked as he looked at Elita. "But I saw we saw." Dan stuttered and in turn Elita sighed knowing this was coming.
"What you saw was a proxy body I used to help Harry identify with humans and to avoid isolating him from other humans." Elita explained as she looked to the group. "My name actual name is Elita 1 Third in Command of the Autobot forces." Elita introduced herself as she looked to the Grangers.
"What are you?" Emma asked as her husband's mind looked ready to fry.
"We are a race of Autonomous Organisms from the Planet Cybertron." Elita explained as she looked to the Granger Family.
"Wait your aliens?!" Hermione asked as she seemed almost excited about the concept of aliens.
"Wait third in command are you, military?" Dan asked as he looked to Elita. "And while we're on the subject why are you on Earth and…" Dan trailed off gesturing to Harry.
"In that order yes and our reasons for being on Earth is to protect it from the Decepticons who are in turn here because our own world Cybertron, in uninhabitable ravaged by centuries of civil war." Elita said sadly revealing that not only were they soldiers but for lack of better terms they were refugees of a destroyed world. "As for Harry… to make a long story short I happened upon him dropped off at a house one evening in the middle of the night. I had originally intended to take him to child protective services when he and I were attacked by men seeking to end him." Elita said as she looked to the Grangers. "It became clear Harry would be left in danger if I put him into the system and as an Autobot I am sworn to protect all life big or small." Elita said as she looked to the Grangers as she graced one of her digits on Harry's hair trying and failing to tame the mane.
"Ok but why were you fighting?" Dan asked and thus Elita looked to the side with a saddened look.
She then sighed knowing he should know the truth and in turn looked at the man straight in the eyes. "It is a long story, and the war was fought for varying reasons but one of the foremost reasons was for control of our world's supply of Energon the fuel and life blood of all Cybertronians Autobots and Decepticons." Elita explained as she looked to the couple and their young daughter.
"As of now you three are one of the few if not the only people who know of our existence." Elita said as she looked to the humans before her. "And I fear that since you now know of our existence the Decepticons know of yours as well." Elita said with a tone of warning to the humans before her.
"Does that mean I can't be friends with Harry anymore?" Hermione suddenly asked as she was fearful of losing her only friend.
"We weren't even talking about that." Dan said as he understood his daughters worries but also knew the danger, they were now in.
"I fear even if you sever contact the Decepticons may view you as our allies regardless." Elita suddenly said as she then looked to her Autobots. "Until we can fully decern their intentions I would suggest you all remain here." Elita said but Dan had objections.
"Pardon me Elita." Emma began as she got the leaders attention. "But Dan and I run a dental practice you can't expect us to drop everything to be in Autobot Witness protections like that." Emma said and thus Elita almost forgotten about that.
"I see… Moonracer." Elita began as she looked to their scout. "Accompany the Grangers home and maintain covert surveillance." Elita said as Dan was about to object but thought it over.
"Got it boss bot." Moonracer said and thus headed over to the Grangers. "Seems you lot have your very own chauffer/Autobot bodyguard." Moonracer said as she smiled to the three.
"As for your young man." Elita began as she looked to her adopted son. "It's time for you to rest it is late after all." Elita said and thus Harry pouted a bit. "I'm sure Sparkplug is waiting for you to come through the door as we speak." Elita added and in turn Harry sighed in defeat.
"Ok." Harry said and thus it was time for everyone to head out. Moonracer transformed followed by Elita and in turn the Grangers filed into Moonracer while Elita had her backseat open for Harry to board. Once they were set the Bots drove off no doubt would return later to carry on their regular tasks as originally intended.
(Scene Break the Dark Side)
"You let them get by you!?" Nightbird snarled as she glared at Dropkick for his failure.
"My apologies commander Nightbird but the Autobots took me by surprise." Dropkick said as he looked to his leader.
"I don't want to hear excuses!" Nightbird snarled as she glared at the Triple Changer. She then turned around only for a red femme to approach her. "Tell me you have good news for me, Shatter." Nightbird growled as she glared at her fellow Femme.
"Construction of the Transmission tower is well underway we have an ideal location easily defendable and perfect to our advantage over the Autobots." Shatter said as Nightbird huffed a bit and focused back on her own display of her ship.
"Finally, some good news." Nightbird said as their plan was simple. They intend to send a transmission out to all Decepticons informing them of Earth and in turn prepare it for Lord Megatron's inevitable arrival.
"But there are some setbacks… we need to retrofit parts to finish it." Shatter said and thus Nightbird knew what this meant for her.
"Provide me with your wish list and I will send out troops to retrieve them." Nightbird said as she knew these particular setbacks can be forgiven.
"As you command." Shatter said and in turn she and Dropkick then took their leave.
Once Nightbird was alone she smiled sinisterly with anticipation for her lord and master's arrival. "Soon Lord Megatron we shall be reunited at long last." Nightbird said as she would not allow anything to stand in her way especially not the Autobots and their allies.
(Scene Break the Next Day)
Needless to say, the Grangers were met with the oddest of wake up calls on a Saturday. Now they were early risers no questions asked but the strangest part of their schedule came in the form of their Autobot Guardian. With the threat of the Decepticons still evident Moonracer had opted to stay in their driveway the entire night. Normally they either brough Hermione to their practice with them or had a babysitter which at the moment would have been Elisa or Elita as she's truly called.
So, imagine their surprise when they were all set for work when they heard the sound of engines roaring outside. It was of course Moonracer waiting for them as she was clearly itching to go. "Come on I'm starting to rust here!" Moonracer called out though made sure not to disturb the neighbors.
Thankfully, she was very welcoming during the drive to the practice and even offered to take Hermione to Elita. Of course, they had their concerns until they saw Moonracers Hard Light copy as she called it. Basically, it was a holographic driver to help the Autobot blend in without surprising people with a self-driving car.
Thus, while the Grangers were at the practice Harry and Hermione were at the base as Moonracer drove in. Harry smiled as he saw Moonracer return and with her Hermione as the girl shot out of the back seat and ran over to Harry. "Harry!" She called out and thus gave him a very tight hug.
"Hermione your parents let you come over?" Harry asked and thus Hermione nodded.
"Yes, after the initial shock I suppose they came to accept it." Hermione said as she smiled to Harry.
Nearby Hermione gasped when she saw what looked to be a massive metal dog casually walking over to Hermione. "Oh, Hermione you never met Sparkplug yet have you?" Harry asked as he looked to Hermione as Spark Plug padded over and sat as if to inspect Hermione.
"Spark Plug?" Hermione asked as she carefully approached Spark Plug.
"Don't worry he's friendly." Perceptor said from his computer station. "And thankfully house broken… now if only he'd stop chewing on my tools." Perceptor said as clearly Spark Plug had a habit of chewing things he shouldn't be chewing.
Moonracer saw the event play out as Spark Plug got to know Hermione. She was soon met with Elita who saw the entire scene. "So, it seems our new human ally has met the dog." Elita said as she saw the scene with a smile.
"Well Spark Plug did take to Harry almost instantly maybe he just has that sort of disposition." Moonracer offered as she looked to her commanding Officer on this matter. "So has there been any updates on the Grangers and the Cons?" Moonracer asked and thus Elita nodded.
"Worry not, our human allies have been informed of the situation and from what I was told it seems Dan Granger served in the Royal Navy." Elita said which meant Dan was military. "Furthermore, our Liaison is being kept appraised of any possible Decepticon Incursions ensuring we will be the first to know of any attacks by them." Elita said and as if to answer her the computers alarm went off meaning they had a communication from their Liaison to the outside world.
"What's going on?" Hermione asked with concern and thus Elita looked to the girl.
"Hermione it's fine we are receiving communication from our designated liaison." Elita said and thus approached the computer as Perceptor patched their agent through. "Special Agent Melina what do we owe the pleasure?" Elita asked as she looked to the woman.
"Good news and bad news. The good news thanks to your warning I was able to have power transferred over to me in the event of Cons the bad news is that it came at a good time." Melina said and thus the Autobots knew what this meant. "The Decepticons are breaking into a secure facility attempting to steal some equipment our soldiers there are holding them off and." Melina began but Elita cut her off.
"Inform your troops to fall back. While you may be acceptable in allowing humans to throw their lives way I on the other hand am not." Elita said with a stern tone and thus Melina sighed to this.
"Alright I'll give the order just get your metal butts over there." Melina said and thus ended the communication line. "Autobots!" Elita began and then took note of Harry and Hermione in the base. "Moonracer you will remain here with Perceptor to watch our charges the rest of you with me." Elita said as Moonracer was surprised by this.
"But Elita." Moonracer began but Elita looked to the Velocitron scout.
"Moonracer right now much has changed, and we need to adapt. After all you would not wish to upset Harry, would you?" Elita asked as Moonracer glared at her commanding officer.
"I hate it when you use Harry against me." Moonracer scowled and thus agreed to remain behind at the base.
With a nod Elita then directed her attention to Perceptor. "Perceptor lock on to those coordinates and open the Ground Bridge." Elita ordered and thus Perceptor got to work. Once the Ground Bridge was open Elita directed her attention to the remaining bots. "Autobots Transform and Roll Out!" Elita called out and thus they each transformed and drove into the portal or in the case of Jetfire flew into the swirling portal.
"Wow!" Hermione gasped as she saw the Ground Bridge in action as once the Bots were through it closed up. "What was that?" Hermione asked as she looked to Perceptor.
"A Ground Bridge our method to instantly travel across your planet." Perceptor said as he looked to Hermione.
"How does it work, what are its finer uses, what limitations does it have?" Hermione asked and thus Perceptor saw Hermione truly had an inquisitive mind to be asking all these questions.
"I would explain such finer details but I'm afraid it may be beyond…" Perceptor began only to see that Hermione had a notebook and pen in hand from her bag. "Very well then you asked for it." Perceptor said and thus Harry saw that class was in session between the two brainiacs.
(Meanwhile Jasper Nevada Autobot Base Omega 1)
"Prime!" Came the voice of one Special Agent William Fowler as he approached Optimus. "I have good news and bad news." Fowler said as he looked to Optimus. "The Good news is that your team or clear for European travel." Fowler said as then Cliffjumper spoke up.
"Ok then what's the bad news?" Cliffjumper asked as he looked to their liaison.
"The Bad news is that the Cons are here and there staging a hit." Fowler said and thus it was clear what needed to be done.
"Understood." Optimus spoke as he then looked over to their Medic Ratchet. "Ratchet open the ground bridge. Autobots Prepare to Roll out!" Optimus ordered and thus they all got ready while Ratchet locked on to the coordinates provided by the team's liaison.
(Meanwhile over with Team Elite)
The Decepticons were already in possession of their goal as two Vehicon Troopers were seen carrying their cargo while another acted as escorts. The two had their blasters at the ready while several other Vehicons were providing backup for any possible Autobot incursion. It seemed to be a good call because suddenly a green portal opened up and from it, Elita and her team came out with Jetfire flying out.
The Autobots were quick on the uptake as they began firing at the Decepticons. Getting to cover the Autobots were intent to keep the Decepticons away from their prize, but the Cons were putting up a fight. Just then from the sky the Vehicon seekers flew in and began firing on the Autobots. Jetfire in retaliations flew as well firing at them taking a few of them down before transforming in midair and slashing through one of the seeker grunts. He then returned to jet mode and flew again as the battle carried on.
(Back on the Dark Side)
"Commander Nightbird the package is secured but the Autobots are here requesting reinforcements." The Vehicon Trooper announced and thus Nightbird heard this.
With a snarl Nightbird had her next orders to give. "Lock on to those coordinates and open a Ground Bridge and summon the Combaticons for this fight." Nightbird ordered as she was not going to allow the Autobots this victory. "Slipstream gather the seekers and meet me at the location." Nightbird ordered and thus went to the twin Triple Changers. "Dropkick Shatter prepare the warship for rendezvous the package will be ready for pick up by then." Nightbird ordered and in turn headed out to lead from the frontlines.
(Back over with Team Elite)
The battle carried out as the Vehicon Troopers were being mowed down by the Autobots on sight. As they were taken out one by one the Vehicons were quickly being boxed in by the Autobots while trying to protect the package they needed to retrieve.
It seemed that this would be a victory in the Autobots favor and hopefully they can learn what the Decepticons are planning to do. That was of course until a Ground Bridge was seen and from it, laser fire went off targeting the Autobots. Forced back into cover they saw the Combaticons exit the portal followed by a form that Elita was most familiar with.
"Nightbird." Elita said realizing that her old sparing partner was on Earth and no doubt so was her ship.
"Decepticons!" Nightbird began and in turn Slipstream with her seekers appeared and began to move in. "Attack!" She ordered and thus the Decepticons began firing down on the Autobots.
"Autobots get to cover now!" Elita ordered and thus Jetfire joined them on the ground and ran to the nearest protective cover.
"Scrap we're pinned down!" Ironhide cursed as the Decepticons moved in on them while ensuring the package would remain secure.
"This seems bad, back on Cybertron we could request reinforcements from Prime." Red Alert said as they returned fire whenever an opening would present itself.
"Frag out!" Ironhide called out throwing a live grenade out and thus saw it land between a group of Cons.
"Grenade!" A Vehicon called out with urgency and thus tried to grab and throw it back only for it to go off and take him and a few of his brothers with him.
"Perceptor we may be in need of backup prepare to." Elita began but then Chromia saw something.
"Look!" Chromia called out as she pointed and thus the Autobots saw another Green Portal open up.
"One of ours?" Red Alert asked as he saw the swirling portal appear.
"Not sure but be ready." Elita ordered but it would seem that would not be needed.
Then to the shock and joy of the Autobots Optimus Prime ran out with a group of fellow Autobots as they opened fire upon the Decepticons seconds after arriving.
"I don't believe it, its Prime!" Ironhide cheered as Optimus arrived and joined the battle.
Smiling to this Elita knew moral was being boosted just with Prime being here. "Autobots move in!" Elita ordered and thus the Autobots got out of cover and joined Optimus in the charge. When Optimus looked and saw Elita even with his battle mask on the Last Prime could not hide his surprise at seeing his Conjunx here.
"Elita." Optimus gasped as he saw Elita here.
"No time for catching up Optimus we have a mission here." Elita said and thus he nodded to the Femme.
"Understood." Optimus responded and thus the Decepticons were shocked to see Optimus Prime here.
"Prime!?" Nightbird gasped and thus growled as the battle continued.
"Blast Off Vortex provide air support!" Onslaught ordered and thus the two cons got to work.
"Understood!" Blast Off called out and in turn the two fliers transformed and took off to help with the air support.
"Jetfire!" Elita ordered and thus Jetfire was on it.
"On it, Commander!" Jetfire called out and thus transformed to join in on the air assault.
The battle carried on as it was clear the battle had taken a turn in the Autobots favor. In retaliation Brawl went into his vehicle mode and got ready to fire on the Autobots. Once he had his targets the tank began to fire forcing the Autobots to move out of the way.
"Cliff with me!" Arcee called out as the two-wheeler and her partner charged in and made a run for Brawl. The two transformed and in turn made a beeline for Brawl and once they got close Arcee transformed and jumped while using the momentum to force Brawl's cannon elsewhere.
In retaliation Brawl transformed and began to fight the two Autobots who separated and fired upon him. Just then from nearby Ironhide roared out as he fired at Brawl forcing the Combaticon down as he rolled from the force of the weapon specialists cannons. "That one was for Jazz!" Ironhide called out as he glared at Brawl with pure contempt.
"You two, ok?" Ironhide asked as he regrouped with the two.
"We'll be fine big guy." Cliffjumper said and thus with a nod Ironhide rejoined the fight.
Nearby Bulkhead was taking on Onslaught as Red Alert provided the Wrecker with some much needed back up. The two were facing the Combiner leader and keeping him on his tows as the two Autobots were a huge help in turning the tides. "In coming!" Arcee called out as the seekers were firing down on them.
Chromia seeing this began to open fire on the Decepticons in the sky and to the shock of many managed to hit quiet a few of them. This helped Jetfire as he flew in and helped thin out the Decepticons numbers. Several of the Seekers meanwhile had peeled off and joined the ground battle and thus it came down to Optimus and Elita.
The two leaders charged into the fight and in turn began to fight their way through the onslaught of several Decepticons. The two leaders were in perfect synchroneity with each other as while one may have a blind spot the other covered that spot. Truly if there ever was a thing such as a power couple Optimus and Elita embodied it perfectly. No words needed to be spoken between them the pair just knew instinctively what the other was thinking and did it accordingly.
Nightbird glared at them but then caught the glare of Elita who then got ready. Optimus then opened his palm and allowed Elita to step onto it before he threw her to her intended target. Elita then clashed with Nightbird surprising the Decepticon Femme who in response began to fight back. The two rolled to the ground before parting from each other and began their age-old battle once more.
Nightbird then jumped back away from Elita before she transformed and flew straight at her. In response Elita grabbed onto Nightbird attempting to force the flier back to the ground. The two spun out as Nightbird lost control before the two femmes crashed into the building nearby. Nightbird them flew out once more using the smoke to cover her and thus Elita opened fire on her age-old rival.
"Combaticons It is time!" Nightbird ordered and in turn Onslaught knew what this meant.
"You heard her! Combaticons Form into Bruticus!" Onslaught ordered and in turn the Combaticons began to combine much to the shock of the Autobots.
"Optimus." Arcee warned as she saw the combaticons forming up.
Once the order was given the Combaticons got moving as first came Brawl and Swindle who drove forth in vehicle mode to form the legs. Once that was done Onslaught transformed to vehicle mode before again transforming to form the head and torso. Finally came Blastoff and Vortex who formed the arms of Bruticus much to the Autobots shock.
Soon the combiner Bruticus stood before them as they saw the massive Decepticon towering over them. "Autobots fall back!" Optimus called out and thus they began to run for cover and/or higher ground.
"Bruticus Online! Ready for action!" Bruticus announced as Nightbird laughed at the event. But it would seem it was going from bad to worse as the from above Nightbirds ship had arrived. AS Bruticus moved in on them the warship fired down on the Autobots forcing them all to find some cover.
"Perceptor, we need an emergency ground bridge on our location stat!" Elita ordered as she knew they had to escape.
The battle was going against them now, but it seems fate favored them this day as the Ground Bridge opened up. "It's for us!" Chromia called out and thus Jetfire regrouped with them as Optimus understood.
"Autobots into the Ground Bridge!" Optimus ordered and thus the Autobots ran to the Ground Bridge to fall back. Once the Autobots were through the ground bridge closed just moments before another blast hit the area that would have snuffed all the Autobots sparks.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
The Autobots returned to base as they began to make their way through the location. "My word Optimus it truly is you." Perceptor gasped as he saw the Leader of the Autobots alive and well.
"It is good to see you as well Perceptor, old friend." Optimus greeted as he saw Perceptor was still around.
"Perceptor!" Bulkhead was heard before he proceeded to chest bumped his fellow Wrecker catching him off guard. The act knocked him down and thus Perceptor was on the ground from that random collision.
"Heh some things never change." Ironhide laughed after witnessing the Wreckers greeting.
"It's good to see you as well Bulkhead." Perceptor said and thus the Autobots began to catch up for lack of better terms.
"Mum?" Came a new voice as Elita looked and saw Harry and Hermione looking to the new arrivals.
"Humans?" Optimus asked as he was curious why human children were here at all.
"Optimus you may want to sit down for this one… it's quiet the tale." Elita said as she looked to her Conjunx as she now had to explain that he was basically a father to the child she had adopted.
(Scene Break the Dark Side)
Later on, the Dark Side after securing the package Nightbird was listening on the progress report of their big plan. "Construction of the Transmission Tower is on schedule it should be ready within One Solar Cycle." Slipstream reported as Nightbird nodded to her Second in Command.
"Good now while Optimus Prime's appearance was unexpected not even, he can face the full might of the Decepticon Army lead by Lord Megatron himself." Nightbird said as she saw the image of the aforementioned transmission tower. The tower would be used to hack into every major satellite around the planet to send out their transmission of the existence of Autobots on Earth which was rich with Energon.
"So that means we're moving in?" Dropkick asked hopeful for a new home to set down their roots.
"Yes, and humanity is being evicted." Nightbird responded and thus Dropkick cheered over the prospect of a new home planet to call home. "Prepare the Warship for landing I want no chances of mistakes on this mission." Nightbird said as she knew how sensitive this tower would be if her forces acted reckless.
"As you wish Commander Nightbird." Shatter said and thus the three Cons took their leave so Nightbird may continue plotting.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
The whole meet and greet between the reunited Autobots was a welcome surprise for most. To learn Elita and her crew had been marooned on Earth and no one on Team Prime realized it was a shock. But it was also a shock vice versa to learn that the Ark managed to make it to Earth was a shock to Team Elite. So, while the other Autobots were reuniting Elita told Optimus everything especially why Harry was in her care.
"And thus, Harry had been with us ever since." Elita said choosing to tell Optimus everything even how she broke Prime Directive 1.
"So, the boy was in danger of his own kind, and you took action to ensure his safety." Optimus said as he looked to Elita who looked ashamed of the fact, she harmed a human.
"I did what I had to do in order to ensure he was safe. But I take no pride in the fact I expunged a human from this world." Elita defended but Optimus understood why she did it.
"Perhaps you and the boy may have been destined to meet." Optimus said as he looked over to Harry and Hermione who were playing with the Minicon Spark Plug. "While I am disappointed Elita, I will not fault you for doing what you felt was needed to protect the child." Optimus assured Elita as she nodded in understanding to her Conjunx Endura.
"So would you like to officially meet him?" Elita offered as she knew this was a long time coming. "Because I am sure Harry has been dying to meet you as well, Optimus." Elita said and thus Optimus looked surprised if not a bit bashful over this.
After a brief moment Optimus had made up his mind and smiled to Elita. "It would be my honor." Optimus said and thus the couple began to make their way over to where Harry was.
Meanwhile Harry and Hermione were with Spark Plug as the Minicon K9 was enjoying the attention the children were providing. That was until the footsteps of the Autobots were heard approaching the area causing all three to look to the source. Harry and Hermione looked and were in turn surprised to see Optimus and Elita approaching the pair of humans.
"Harry Potter, correct?" Optimus asked as he looked to Harry.
"Yes, sir." Harry responded to the leader of the Autobots.
"Elita has told me a great deal about you, young one." Optimus said and thus Harry nodded with a small smile to the Autobot leader.
"Yes, and mum also told me a lot about you, Optimus sir." Harry said which oddly enough caused Optimus to make a small smile over this expecting that from Elita.
"Call me Optimus I do not wish for you to feel you are obligated to show me any respect." Optimus said to ease the boy who looked ready to faint.
In turn the two entered a brief silence as Hermione and Spark Plug watched the scene play out before them. "So, what was it like living on Cybertron before?" Harry asked and thus Optimus smiled a bit and thus the two began to talk on what Cybertron was like before the Great War had started.
(Scene Break Later That Day)
During the talk between Optimus and Harry Moonracer had snuck out for a small task. The Autobots under Optimus were of course informed of the humans who were attacked and thus understood they would need to watch their step. Right now, the Autobots were hard at work trying to figure out what Nightbird and her Decepticons were trying to accomplish.
Just then Moonracer drove into the base and in turn opened her doors to let the Grangers out. Climbing the steps to the platform they saw Hermione playing with Sparkplug as the Minicon was on his back with Hermione rubbing his belly. Sparkplug was thumping his leg as Hermione rubbed the Minicon's belly like he was an actual Earth dog.
"With the data I have acquired Commanders I have deduced within a reasonable margin for error that the Decepticons are attempting to construct a transmitter." Perceptor said as he looked to the two leaders. "I have compared my data and notes with Ratchet at Autobot Base Omega 1, and he too agrees with my assessment." Perceptor said as he showed the data.
"A transmitter but who could they be contacting?" Chromia asked as she found that odd.
"I'd figure Starscream would have informed the other Cons after getting the information from my head back on Cybertron." Arcee said as she found this to be odd.
"This is Starscream we're talking about, I doubt he told any other Cons so he can seize the glory for himself." Jetfire confirmed as he looked to the smaller Femme.
"It would stand to reason Nightbird is attempting to contact the other Decepticons scatters across the stars for a full-scale invasion of this planet." Optimus deduced knowing full well what may be in store if Nightbird is allowed to carry on with her plan.
"What's this about an invasion?" Dan asked with concern for not only his planet but his wife and daughter.
"Daniel Granger, I presume?" Optimus asked as this was the first time, they were meeting with the Grangers bar Hermione who Optimus found could easily become a data clerk if she had been born on Cybertron.
"Yes, and that must mean your Optimus Prime Elita's husband?" Dan asked as Optimus would not deny that.
"If you mean Conjunx Endura then yes." Optimus confirmed as Dan figured that was the Cybertronian equivalent to marriage. "As for your prior question we believe that Nightbird and the Decepticons under her command is attempting to contact the Decepticon forces scattered to the stars we must not allow that to happen." Optimus said with urgency in his tone.
"But to do that we need to find her Transmitter and remove it." Jetfire added as that was easier said then done here. "Otherwise, your world will find itself conquered by the Decepticons." Jetfire added and thus it was clear they needed to find that Transmitter before it can get the message out.
Dan thought it over and thus had an idea from his days in the military. "I think I might have an idea." Dan said and thus the Autobots looked to Dan.
(Later)
With a map presented on Perceptors computer Dan began to point out where the Transmitter might be. "Here." Dan said as he pointed to the spot. "It's an old military installation decommissioned but it should have what the Decepticons would need to build a Transmitter or at least the basis for one." Dan said as he showed the information on the map.
"It's isolated, out of the way, easily defendable, and most of all the last place one would look." Perceptor said as he looked to the map.
"Bumblebee Moonracer I need you two to head out for initial scouting, Jetfire you will provide ariel surveillance be back here as soon as you confirm the Cons are there." Elita ordered and thus the two Scouts and Flier understood.
"Yes sir!" Jetfire, Moonracer, and Bumblebee confirmed as the yellow scout simply made beeps to confirm he understood the order.
"Perceptor lock on to the coordinates and open the Ground Bridge." Optimus ordered and thus Perceptor nodded.
"Yes sir." Perceptor said and thus inputted the Coordinates into the Ground Bridge.
(Meanwhile at the Transmitter Site)
The Decepticons had landed their warship at the sight where they were constructing their Transmitter. As they worked on their project Dropkick and Shatter were hard at work on it. Overseeing the construction was Nightbird as Vehicons Troopers moved the parts where they were needed as a few others were welding parts at varying locations.
"Progress report?" Nightbird spoke as a Vehicon held the data Shatter and Dropkick have provided.
"We're just about ready we need simply to charge up the power source and beam the transmission out." The Vehicon Trooper spoke as he reported the progress of their transmitter.
"Excellent." Nightbird said as she grinned over the fact more Decepticons would be arriving on this sorry excuse of a backwater planet rich with Energon. "Once this transmission has been beamed out, I want preparations made for the inevitable arrival of Lord Megatron." Nightbird said as she then took her leave and found the Combaticons awaiting her next order.
"What's the plan boss?" Brawl asked as he looked to Nightbird.
"Ensure we are not disturbed be they Autobots or human." Nightbird ordered and thus the Combaticons nodded and got ready to depart.
Meanwhile from behind a large rock Moonracer and Bumblebee saw everything playing out from nearby. They saw that the Decepticons were all but ready to transmit and thus they were short on time. "Scout Team to base, Dan's hunch was on point." Moonracer quietly reported as she saw through a scope of what was going on right now. "The Cons are charging up to send their transmission we need to act now." Moonracer said and thus it was clear what was to happen.
(Meanwhile back at the base)
"Understood." Elita confirmed and thus it was time to move.
"Autobots." Optimus began as he called both teams attention. "The Decepticons are preparing to transmit we must stop them at all costs." Optimus informed as he looked to the gathered Autobots. "We shall split into two groups, Elita you shall lead stealth team if we are to be successful, we must not allow the Decepticons a chance to use alternative means of transmitting." Optimus said as this meant one thing.
"Looks like the Femme team are reuniting." Chromia said as she looked over to Arcee.
"Heh just like old times." Arcee said as she still remembered when she served under Elita 1.
"I will lead the forward assault on the Transmitter itself." Optimus said as he looked to the Autobots. "But with the Combiner Bruticus we may require a method to counter him." Optimus said and thus Hermione had an idea.
"Wait why not just tie up his legs?" Hermione asked as the Autobots looked to her. "I mean I saw it in Star Wars Episode V the Empire Strikes Back, if you can trip up Bruticus it may make combatting him a simpler task." Hermione offered and thus that idea did sound like a plausible one.
"We shall consider it." Optimus said with a small nod to the bushy haired girl.
"Autobots time to arm yourselves." Elita said and in turn gestured to the back rooms of their base of operations.
(Later the Axelon Weapons Vault)
Elita punched in the needed codes and in turn the Weapons Vault opened up revealing an assortment of weapons all organized and ready for use. "Autobots take your pick." Elita offered and in turn they knew it was time to arm themselves for a full-scale assault against the Decepticons.
One by one the Autobots armed themselves as they grabbed every gun and explosive they had at their disposal. "Autobots the plan is simple; Optimus and his team will make a charge for the Transmitter and decommission it." Elita said as the Autobots armed themselves. "Meanwhile me and my team will make an attack on the Decepticon ship and plan explosive onto their engines sabotaging it and preventing them from sending word out the old fashion way." Elita added and thus it was clear the Autobots were going to war.
"We must fight." Optimus cut in as he looked to their gathered forces. "To ensure that the Earth and her people may survive we must stop the Decepticons at all costs." Optimus added and thus Perceptor began to ready the Ground Bridge for their deployment.
Soon the Ground Bridge was opened and thus with a nod to each other Optimus and Elita had their next Order for their assigned teams. "Autobots Transform and Roll Out!" Both Elita and Optimus ordered and thus each of the Autobots transformed and drove into the portal to their mission.
(Scene Break Decepticon Transmitter Site)
The Transmitter was at last ready for use and in turn Nightbird stood at the ready herself. "Beginning transmission." Nightbird said as the power began to charge up while the transmission was ready for input. "Calling all Decepticons Autobot Base has been located come to the Planet Earth and stake your claim on our new home world." Nightbird ordered and thus the transmission began to load.
Just then an explosion was heard and in turn the Decepticon Leader looked and was wide eyed as the Autobots had arrived. Seeing this Nightbird snarled and thus had her next order to give. "Decepticons we are under attack! Mobilize now!" Nightbird ordered and thus the battle truly began. Laser fire was going off all over as the Autobots began to fight their way to the Transmitter to neutralize it. "Protect the Transmitter!" Nightbird added before she transformed and joined the fight herself.
The Autobots meanwhile were firing upon the Decepticons taking every shot they can and moving closer with each wave dealt with. The Autobots moved in and were taking out every Decepticon that stood in their way. Of course, the battle was a stalemate at the moment as their gorilla warfare was their only means of getting to the Transmitter right now.
The battle progressed as the Autobots were trying to get the upper hand against the Decepticons. They eventually got to a stalemate spot as they had cover quickly set up while others hid behind hand shields from the Axelon's vault. Optimus meanwhile noticed one of his Autobots was still unaccounted for as he looked around for him.
"Where is Bumblebee?" Optimus asked and as if to answer for him a car engine was heard.
Nearby Bumblebee was seen driving in as he bashed through a few Cons and made his way over to the Autobots. Once he got close, he transformed and joined them and began to help with the fight. "Found him!" Red Alert called out jokingly as he hid behind cover.
"Good to see you soldier." Optimus nodded to Bumblebee as Ironhide then grabbed something.
"Here your gonna need this kid." Ironhide said passing a weapon for Bumblebee and a hand shield as well.
With a few whirls and beeps Bumblebee thanked Ironhide and proceeded to open fire on the Decepticon forces. Explosions went off as Vehicon Troopers were falling to the Autobots one after the other as the Autobots continued to move in on the Decepticons Transmitter.
"Stealth Team Progress Report!" Optimus requested as he hid behind cover with his fellow Autobots.
(Meanwhile with the Stealth Team)
Elita and the other Femmes had regrouped with Moonracer and once she was armed had moved on and successfully infiltrated the Decepticon Warship. Upon entry however it had not been long until the Femmes were discovered by security and were thus currently being held up.
"We're enroute to the target but security is tighter then originally anticipated we may be delayed." Elita reported as she and her femmes held their ground knowing the Cons were blocking, they're way to the ship's engines.
"Stand strong Elita we must secure both objectives." Optimus urged and thus Elita smiled knowing Optimus had faith in her and her team.
(Back with the Assault Team)
Once Optimus hung up Bulkhead went wide eyed when he saw a familiar sight. "Uh Optimus." Bulkhead announced and in turn the Autobots looked and saw the Combaticons joining the fighting again.
"Combaticons form into Bruticus!" Onslaught ordered and in turn the Combaticons began to combine once more into Bruticus.
With a savage roar Bruticus was ready for battle as he began to fire down on the Autobots with added firepower as a powerful combiner. "Air support is on the way!" Jetfire was heard and from above Jetfire came down and began to fire upon Bruticus hitting the combiners eyes.
Bruticus cried out in pain as he grabbed his currently blinded face after Jetfire's attack. Once that was done Jetfire kept the fire on as he went for Bruticus upper body.
"Autobots now is our chance go for his legs!" Optimus ordered and thus the Autobots moved in on Bruticus.
In turn the Autobots got moving as Bumblebee and Red Alert grabbed some chains. As the other Bots began firing at Bruticus' joint areas Bumblebee and Red Alert swung the chains at the Decepticons legs before they began running around both legs. Bruticus kept moving but with each step his movements were being restrained until Ironhide and Bulkhead joined in.
Grabbing the chains, the two strongest Autobots held their ground and in turn with a yell of panic Bruticus fell over. When he landed, he created a hole for the Autobots to get through and thus they began to move in towards their primary objective.
"Not so fast Autobots!" Dropkick called out as he fired rockets down upon the Autobots.
Running to cover the Autobots fired back and in turn Shatter did a fly by while shooting down upon her Autobot enemies. But once the Autobots got behind cover Jetfire joined in and began a dog fight with Dropkick and Shatter keeping them off his ground bound fellow Autobots. Seeing the chance Optimus lead the charge as they made their way to the Decepticon transmitter.
(Back with the Stealth Team)
The Femme meanwhile finally made it to the door into the engine room. Problem is they were being met by major opposition. Elita looked to this and in turn had an idea. With a nod to Chromia who understood the Autobot Femme's got moving.
"Arcee Moonracer move in on them Chromia and I will cover you!" Elita called out and thus Arcee nodded.
"Yes ma'am." Arcee responded and thus she and Moonracer transformed to vehicle mode. The two Femmes drove in on the Decepticons as Elita and Chroma got out of cover and fired upon them. Once the two got close they transformed once more and in turn Arcee busted out her arm blades slicing the head off of a Con and shooting the others that were closest to her.
Following it up was Moonracer as she fired her guns on the other Cons from behind taking them out one after the other. Once the area was clear Elita and Chromia moved in and opened the door. Entering the Engine room, the four femmes were met with the sight of Energon Cubes being loaded into the Decepticons Engines.
"Chromia prepare the explosives we'll cover you." Elita ordered and thus taking out their bomb the Autobot Femmes began to set up. "Optimus we're at the objective preparing the explosive devices now." Elita reported to Optimus who got the message from her.
(Back with the Assault Team)
"Understood." Optimus responded and thus they continued to move in on the Decepticons Transmission Tower. "Autobots charge!" Optimus roared out and thus the Autobots moved in on their final objective.
(Meanwhile with Nightbird)
Nightbird growled as she looked to her onboard computer and saw the Transmission was only at 54% completion. With a snarl she flew down to the Autobots and fired off rockets at them. This in turn forced the Autobots to take cover from the Decepticon Femme's attack.
As she continued her attack on the Autobots she made sure to keep them as far from the Transmission Tower as she could. Seeing her troops on the ground she flew down toward them before transforming and joining them for the battle. "Decepticons slaughter them!" Nightbird roared as they Cons moved in on the Autobots with every intention of seeing their sparks finally snuffed out.
(Meanwhile back with Stealth Team)
Chromia was putting the finishing touches in on their bomb and soon saw the lights on it shine. "It's armed!" Chromia called out and with a nod Elita had the next order for her Femmes.
"Autobots roll out!" Elita called out and thus they transformed and began to drive off with intent of going the same way they came in.
(Later with the Assault Team)
The Autobots were pinned down as they were running out of time to stop the Transmission. As the laser fire continued Optimus knew they needed to do something fast before the transmission went out. Just then from afar lasers began firing at the Decepticons. Looking to the Source the Femmes rejoined the others as they gave the Autobots room to move.
"Autobots move in!" Optimus called out and thus they got out of cover and began their final bout.
Nightbird snarled at this just before she heard a car engine and looked to the source. With her optics glaring she saw Elita driving in before she began to transform into her robot mode once more. Once she was ready Elita glared at Nightbird as their eyes showed the history the two Femmes shared between them.
"Nightbird." Elita growled as Nightbird knew her nemesis had arrived.
"Elita!" Nightbird snarled and thus transformed into her Cybertronian jet mode. As Nightbird flew at Elita the femme leader jumped and grabbed onto her rival's wings and thus both were taken for a ride. Nightbird flew upward and thus transformed before they began to free fall and fight at the same time. Firing their blasters at each other Elita refused to give Nightbird the chance to enter vehicle mode again. Nightbird used the momentum and with her legs grabbed Nightbird by the head and flipped her away sending Elita a bit away.
As Elita fell and spun, she looked nearby and saw the Transmitter wide open. Taking out her rifle she aimed at the tower and with a careful shot she fired her weapon. The laser bolt flew fast and true and to the horror of Nightbird hit the computer and energy source for the transmitter causing it to shut down due to power failure.
"NO!" Nightbird roared as she transformed and flew after Elita. Firing her lasers at Elita the Autobot femme smirked unafraid of what came next. Just then laser fire went off on Nightbird and thus Jetfire flew in and managed to catch Elita just in the nick of time.
Forced to pull up Nightbird returned to the Dark Side and knew the day was lost. "Decepticons fall back!" Nightbird ordered and in turn every Con who received it ran back to the Dark Side to escape. As they ran the Autobots fired at them until they were on the Dark Side which began to take off and leave the battlefield.
"Was the bomb armed?" Optimus asked as they saw the Dark Side was high in the sky now as Elita and Jetfire rejoined the group.
"Let's just say it all comes tumbling DOWN!" Chromia announced with a detonator in her hand and punctuated it by pressing the button on it.
(Meanwhile on the Dark Side)
The entire ship shook as the Decepticons felt the explosion come form somewhere on the ship. "Statues, report!" Nightbird demanded as she glared at the bridge crew.
"Commander the power core has been compromised we can't stay in the air!" The Vehicon Trooper reported and thus it was clear what was about to happen.
"Inform all hands to brace for a crash landing." Nightbird ordered and in turn the order was given.
(Back with the Autobots)
The Autobots saw as the Decepticon Ship fell and would no doubt suffer a crash landing. Their only hope was that said crash would eliminate them all and if not maroon them on Earth. "Autobots let's go home." Optimus ordered and in turn the Ground Bridge opened and the Autobots entered it.
(Scene Break Autobot Base Axelon)
The Autobots returned to base and were in turn greeted by the humans. "Did you do it has the Transmission been stopped?" Dan asked with concern over the possibility of a Decepticon Invasion.
"Fear not the transmitter has been destroyed and the Decepticon ship has been grounded." Elita assured the Grangers who sighed in relief.
"But… it's not over, is it?" Dan asked as he looked to the Autobots.
"I'm afraid not if they survived the crash, they will no doubt be continuing our conflict." Elita said and thus she knew came the big question.
"Does this mean… me and Harry have to say goodbye now?" Hermione asked as Sparkplug didn't like the tone Hermione used and whimpered a bit at the prospect of Hermione leaving.
"Hermione that is up to your parents I will not countermine their judgement on this." Elita said as she looked to the young girl. In turn she looked to her parents with a hopeful look knowing full well that they had the final say in this adventure.
(Scene Break the Dark Side)
Alarms were blaring as the Decepticon ship had crashed at the bottom of a cliff next to the ocean. As the ship sat their smoke was coming off from the thrusters showing the damage was centered there. Inside Nightbird growled as she got back up. "Status report." Nightbird spoke and thus Slipstream spoke up.
"Our engines are shot to the Pit. The damage is far too severe for us to feasibly repair within a short amount of time." Slipstream reported to her commanding Officer.
"In other words, were marooned here on this damn rock." Dropkick cursed realizing the situation that they were now in.
"What of the other systems, defenses, other essential systems." Nightbird said and that was where the good news came in.
"Thankfully, our defenses had only suffered minor damages, but our sensors need to be recalibrated and all in all other then the engines we only suffered minor damages." Slipstream reported and thus Nightbird knew what this meant for her entire crew.
"Begin repairs on what can be repaired, I want our ship cloaked from any sensors and most of all we must turn our ship into a base of operations if we are to be trapped on this world it shall be on our terms!" Nightbird ordered and thus had more orders. "I want 24/7 watch on our sensors if a Decepticon signal is detected I want to be the first to know of it we may have lost this battle, but the war is far from over." Nightbird said showing she was not going to surrender to any of her enemies' humans or Autobots.
"As you command." Slipstream said and thus went to carry out the orders with Dropkick and Shatter.
(Scene Break Monday)
Harry and Hermione were leaving school for the day as by the looks of it, it would seem that they were still allowed to interact with each other. Just then a car horn was heard and from it they saw Moonracer was here. Smiling the two ran over to the Autobot and hopped onto the back seat before she drove off. It would seem that even though the Decepticons were on Earth life still carried on as it the Grangers approved of Hermione's continued interaction with the Autobots.
(Later Autobot Base Axelon)
Moonracer arrived at the base as once they got there they came in on Optimus and Elita sharing a quick moment as Optimus prepared to depart for Autobot Base Omega 1. Hermione saw this and gushed as Moonracer's horn got the leaders attention and thus both began to blush at being caught. Harry of course hugged Elita's tread as she smiled and kneeled down before having him jump onto her servo. Once that was done, she held him close as a way to hug her child even if he was not hers by birth.
The Autobots were learning of the term family as that was what they had become. In a way family is more then just blood relations it's the bonds one shares and for young Harry Elita was her mother and Optimus Prime was his father. Optimus smiled to this and after Harry smiled and hugged the bots head Optimus put Harry down to go join Hermione.
The Autobots did not choose Earth nor were they of this planet but in a way the Earth chose them. This blue planet was their home and as anyone would do, they will fight to protect their home from all threats who come from beyond. And hopefully they will build a future where children like Harry and Hermione would not have to face the horrors and struggles of their War. Because in the end just like the Autobots there was more to the human race then meets the eye.
