Chapter 2

DISCLAIMER- I do not own the characters from Harry Potter or Twilight. They all belong to J.K. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer. Some of the plot also belongs to these authors.

Harry Potter woke up to someone shining a light into his eyes. He groaned before trying to sit up. "Easy Mr. Potter-Black. You hit the ground pretty hard."

Mr. Potter-Black? Wha-? Harry's eyes widened. Wait, his name isn't even Harry it's Orion. He didn't know whether or not he wanted to go by his true name or not. Pushing those thoughts away he sat up. "So, is the letter true Griphook? Is Sirius my father and James carried me?" he asked desperately.

Looking uncomfortable Griphook replied, "Yes. The parchment is dipped in veritaserum. James couldn't tell anything but the truth."

"Can you take me to my vault with my dad's belongings? I wish to remove some. Also, I know that Hermione, Ron, and Ginny have been removing galleons from my vaults. I wish to see it all paid back no matter what. If there are any problems contact me directly," Harry said with authority.

Griphook grinned evilly. Theft was very much not appreciated and Griphook would make sure every galleon is paid back in full. "As you wish Mr. Potter-Black. I will take you to the main Potter Vault."

As Griphook led Harry down to his vault, he couldn't help the guilt that rose up in him. Sirius was his father. He was his own flesh and blood and he killed him. Not directly no, but close enough. If Harry hadn't been stupid Sirius wouldn't have been there in the first place. Feeling the cart stop, he shook his head and walked toward the door. "Thank you Griphook," Harry said sincerely.

Griphook nodded and left. Harry stood there for 2 minutes just staring at the vault. It's now or never he thought. He pushed open the door, it had been unlocked by Griphook, and entered. He couldn't believe his eyes. Mounts of galleons, sickles, and knuts crowded the vault. His vibrant green eyes were wide with disbelief. He couldn't believe he had all this money and he dressed in Dudley's hand me downs. He walked further into the vault and stopped in his tracks. There along the back wall were his father's belongings. This time Harry didn't hesitate to go over. He went to the first box that was locked. It was a gorgeous silver box with green trimmings along the side. He was confused because it was Slytherin colors but he continued to inspect it. Right in the center of the top was were two wands crossed over each other with a raven in the middle. Is this the Potter-Black symbol? Harry thought. He hoped it was. He looked all over the box and couldn't find a key hole. No one would know that this is the Potter-Black sigil, so maybe he was the only one that could open it. But how? Would his parents use something that was simple? They were young when they made this box so maybe it's...

"I solemnly swear I'm up to no good," Harry whispered. The top of the box popped open and inside were pictures. If he didn't believe his dad carried him before he did now. The first picture was of his dad who looked about 6 months pregnant. He was dressed in sweats and a plain black t-shirt. The shirt was tight around his stomach and he was holding it with a prideful expression. Harry teared up at the love in his father's hazel eyes. Standing next to his dad was Sirius, his other dad. His eyes also showed love when he looked at James' stomach. The picture was moving and Sirius' hand was resting on his husband's waist. Harry was freely crying now. He was obviously loved so much. He was devastated that he could've had a family who loved him instead of "family" who wanted to beat the magic out of him. Setting the picture aside, he looked at another photo. This one was of his two dads and Lily. James and Sirius held on to each other while Lily played with a young Harry. As Harry looked at this photo, he couldn't but feel love and respect for Lily. She may not have been the one to carry him, but she gave her life so he could live his. Harry was still crying. He cried for James, the father who would've loved him unconditionally. He cried for Sirius, the dad who would've raised and loved him. He cried for Lily, the woman who loved him enough to give her life for him.

Once he was able to stop crying, he continued to look in the book. There was a small box with two rings inside of it. They were both silver with small diamonds around the band. Both of their rings. He gently closed the box and moved on. There were two envelopes under the pictures and Harry pulled both of them out. The first one had a label that read The Potter-Black Family Tree. The writing was too small so he muttered, "Engorgio." The family tree grew enough so that the names were easy to read. He didn't pay too much attention to the older generations. Instead he looked at James and Sirius' names. That can't be right he thought. Harry frowned deeply when he looked closely at Sirius' label. It read Alive. He looked at James' label and that read Deceased. Harry was distraught and confused. How is he alive? Didn't he fall into the veil? How can I find him? So many questions were running through his head.

"I'm going nutters," Harry laughed dryly. All these secrets were getting too much for him. He doesn't think he could handle any more. Looking at the last letter, he saw that it was addressed to Severus Snape from Lily Evans. He wasn't going to read it since it wasn't his business. He carefully put everything back in the box and whispered, "Mischief managed." The box was once again sealed. He put a lot of galleons into his pouch before leaving. Once Harry was back in the Gringotts lobby, he thanked Griphook and headed back to Hogwarts. When he arrived, the sun was setting and he quickly made his way to the dungeons. He nervously ran his hand through his hair making it even more of a mess and finally managed to knock on the potion master's door. He was relieved when he was found alive in the shack because Harry owed him for saving his life so many times.

"What are you doing here Potter? Don't you have fans to get to?" Sneered Snape. Harry flinched and bowed his head.

"I'm sorry to disturb you Professor, but I was at Gringotts and I need to discuss someone of importance with you," Harry said softly.

Snape gave him a contemplative look before sneering and opening his door wider. "Well don't just stand there like a dunderhead Potter. Come in before I send you on your way."

Confusion. Hate. Relief. Harry was confused on why the Professor was relieved to see him, but he shook it off and quickly stepped in. He didn't have time to look around before Snape rudely gestured for him to sit down on the black leather couch.

Harry nervously glanced over at Snape and began his story. He told him about how his "friends" were stealing from him and what he asked Griphook to do. He told Snape about how James was his carrier and Sirius is his other dad. "I was looking through this box and found a letter addressed to you. I didn't look in it."

Snape looked hard at the envelope Harry was holding out to him. Harry could feel the distrust and continued, "It's from Lily." That seemed to shock the Professor and he quickly snatched the letter out of his hand. While he was reading the letter, he pulled out the box and whispered the password in parseltongue to open it. He pulled out the family tree and patiently waited for Snape to finish reading the letter.

Harry's head shot up when Snape cleared his throat. He noticed that Snape's eyes were glassy and he was trying to blink back the tears. "I'm sorry Po—Harry for being... unprofessional during your years of learning," Snape apologized.

Harry smiled brightly before replying, "Think nothing of it Professor. I understand that you had a duty and I couldn't blame you for it. Although I do have something to ask of you,' Harry trailed off, but continued when Snape nodded his head, 'I was looking at the Potter-Black Family Tree when I noticed that Sirius- my dad, is still alive."

Snape's eyes widened and demanded that he see the tree. Harry watched him closely and for the first time, Harry willingly used his empathy. Fear. Relief. Reluctance. "You know something," Harry accused. He didn't know if he should be angry or not and his magic was begging to be let out.

Snape sneered at him. "Don't accuse me without knowing the facts Potter. It reminds me of a conversation I had with the late Headmaster,' he hesitated, but at Harry's dark look he continued, 'he kept saying that you were not to have any distractions. That even though it was a dreadful occurrence, it would keep you from denying your destiny."

Once Snape had said the word destiny, Harry's magic was released. Harry clenched his fists and let his magic go. His magic was so powerful that the glamour that was put on him, dissolved. Harry looked the same except his eyes were grey and he stood at 6'0 instead of 5'9. There was no denying that he was Orion James Potter-Black. His magic was pulsing and it was breaking glasses that was in Snape's office. He's alive. Dumbledore did something. He's alive. He's alive. My dad's alive. These thoughts were running through his mind as he tried to control himself. He can't lose control now. He had to find his dad. He closed his eyes and focused on Snape's emotions. Fear. Concern. Annoyance, they beat at Harry's head until he was in control. When he opened his eyes, Snape was trying to repair all of the glasses that Orion had broken. He was confused as to why Snape wasn't even confused over his change in appearance. He may have not seen it but he could definitely feel the changes.

"I'm so sorry Professor! It's just hard to control my magic when I'm angry," Orion said sheepishly.

Snape raised a brow before nodding. "I have a potion that can lead you to where your father is." Snape didn't have to continue because Harry was already nodding his head. The professor nodded his head before going to the cabinet in the corner. It took him a few minutes before he found what he was looking for. It was a light purple and was kept in a small vial. "All I need is a drop of your blood." Orion quickly complied before giving Snape what he needed. He shook the vial and it turned a deep purple. "Drink it," Snape ordered.

When he tipped the vial into his mouth, he felt a warmth spreading over him. Before he knew it, he was being led out of the room. Before Orion could open his mouth, Snape interceded, "Don't fight it. Just let it lead you. I'll follow just in case."

Orion nodded and relaxed. After a few minutes he found himself on the 7th floor, staring at the space. He felt Snape's confusion and said, "The Room of Requirement. The room will provide you with what you need." Without waiting for a response Orion quickly walked back and forth 3 times. Need to find my dad. Need to find Sirius Potter-Black. Need to find where Dumbledore hid him. Need to find my dad.

After repeating that a few times a door appeared. He looked at Snape who stared in shock. If it wasn't a serious situation he would've laughed. Orion's hand was shaking as he opened the door. He looked in the room and took a deep breath. He could feel a wide range of emotions. Rage. Helplessness. Fear. Hope. Confidence. Orion walked into the room and his eyes widened. "Dad?"

Authors Note:

Hey! I have so many ideas of where to go with this story and I can't wait to share it. Harry is going by Orion now in case you need clarification. The next chapter will most likely be longer since I'm going to be going over some information before they move to Forks. RxR Please. Thank you 3
