After the Minister left, Orion and Sirius were discussing on where to go. Both wanted to go to America, but they were having trouble on deciding where. "What about Forks, Washington? Remus mentioned a while ago that wolf shifters live there. We wouldn't be completely without magic," Sirius suggested.
Orion thought it over. It wouldn't be so bad. "Okay then. Forks it is." He honestly didn't care where he went as long as his dad was with him. Orion went to Gringotts to take care of business. As he went over all of the statements, he noticed that Dumbledore was also taking money out of his vaults. Not only that but money has been withdrawn a month before he started Hogwarts. Griphook had summoned all of James' belongings that have been taken over the years. He was shocked over how many personal things they had stolen. He made himself calm down because he knew that tomorrow they would get what's coming to them.
When Orion woke the next day, he quickly got dressed and went to wake his dad. Seeing his bed empty, he wandered to the kitchen. Smothering a laugh, he stood at the doorway just staring at his dad. He was dancing around the kitchen in a pink, ruffled apron. When his father twirled towards his son, he stopped dead in his tracks. Feeling his dad's embarrassment, he broke into laughter.
"What in Merlin are you doing?" Harry gasped out.
Noticing his son's grey eyes shine, he couldn't help but feel as if everything is going to be okay. He tried to get rid of the pink in his cheeks and cleared his throat. "I'm making breakfast for my favorite son," he said with mirth.
"Hey I'm your only son. I hope I'm your favorite," Orion joked. He felt a little weight lift off his shoulders to see his dad so relaxed. He knew it couldn't be easy for him and he respected how he was trying.
Sirius finished making breakfast and quickly took his seat. While reaching for the French toast and eggs he asked, "Are you ready for the trial pup?"
"I'm more than ready," Orion said. "I just hope they question them under veritaserum so we could know just exactly what their plans were. Also, I sent a Patronus to Snape saying when and where the trial is. He said he would be there."
Trying to diffuse the tension Sirius began talking about his birth while they ate. "When you were born, we knew that Dumbledore would try and use you so we couldn't let him find out I was your dad. We had to glamour your appearance. Usually it wouldn't work but Lily, James, and I put a lot of magic into it and we were able to pull it off. That's why you had Lily's eyes,' he paused to push back the fringe in front of his son's eyes, 'but I am so happy to see you have my eyes."
Orion's eyes softened and couldn't help the overwhelming joy he was feeling. He was so happy he had his dad. Everything seemed right in that moment in time and he was reluctant to break the moment. "I love you dad," Orion said softly.
Sirius' eyes widened before tearing up. "I love you to pup."
They both smiled widely at each other before finishing eating. They grabbed onto the cup that was made into a portkey and they both grabbed onto it. Feeling the pull in his navel, he tried to steady himself when they landed. He hated wizard transportation and wished he could just drive a car like a muggle.
Arriving in the courtroom, Orion squared his shoulders and walked with his head held high. Once again everyone was commenting on his looks. He rolled his eyes and did his best to ignore all of the emotions that were filling him up. It was easier said than done and he focused on his dad's emotions instead. Nervousness. Eagerness. Hope. Happiness. He smiled inwardly, happy with the fact that he and his dad were moving away from the Wizarding World.
He returned his attention to the room and took a seat next to his dad near the front. Snape was also in the front looking as if he wanted to leave. His emotions indicated he was correct in his assumption. He looked to the left and watched 4 Aurors dragged Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Molly to the center of the room.
He ignored the dark looks they were giving him and looked towards Madam Bones. "We will first call Molly Weasley up," she announced. The Weasley matriarch looked pleadingly towards her family, but was met with looks of disdain.
Once Molly sat in the chair, Harry's lawyer said, "I ask that Mrs. Weasley and the teens be placed under vertaserum. After everything that happened with Sirius, we wouldn't want a repeat."
Orion inwardly applauded at what he said. He didn't have to be an Empath to know that Molly was panicking. She turned horridly pale and was slightly shaking. Good. She should be scared. He thought. The Auror looked to Madam Bones who nodded. "Your request is accepted." The Auror then tipped Molly's head back and gave her 3 drops. Her eyes went glassy.
"Mrs. Weasley did you aid Albus Dumbledore in kidnapping Sirius Black?" Madam Bones asked.
"Yes," Molly dully replied.
Harry took a much-needed deep breath and calmed his magic. Madam Bones eyes widened before asking another question. "Did Albus Dumbledore knowingly give you illegal access to the Potter Vaults?"
"Yes."
Madam Bone' jaw was clenched. "Why did he give you access to the vaults?"
Molly looked as if she was struggling for a split second before saying, "Albus promised me that if I made sure Harry was taken care of, he would make Harry marry Ginny."
"What do you mean 'taken care of?'" Madam Bones asked.
Molly started sweat as if she was trying to control her words and lie. But then she yelled, "I paid the Dursley's with the boy's money to break him and make him easy to manipulate. Albus needed him like that so he would be willing to die. I was more than willing to help him. Harry doesn't deserve the money he has let alone the clothes on his back!"
Orion paled and stilled. The room started to shout and condemn Molly. Even Ron and Ginny looked at her in disgust. The Wizengamot didn't need much time to come up with a sentence. A small man with blonde hair stood up, "We sentence you to life in Azkaban because we believe death is too kind."
She was dragged away kicking and screaming. Orion didn't think he could take anymore. His dad's hand was clenched in his own and he tried to take comfort from him. Once the room was settled, Madam Bones spoke. "Since these 3 have only been accused of theft, we will only question one of them. Ronald Weasley will come to the stand."
Once the Auror placed the drops in his mouth, the questioning started. "Did you along with Ginevra Weasley and Hermione Granger steal from Mr. Potter-Black's vaults?"
"Yes."
"Did you know that Mr. Potter-Black's father was alive?"
Orion held his breath. "Yes," Ron replied dully.
"Why didn't you tell him? Isn't he your best friend?"
Ron sneered at him before yelling, "That attention seeker didn't deserve to know he was alive. He doesn't deserve the happiness he has. If he died like he was supposed to the we would've gotten his money."
Harry had enough and ran out the room. Once opened the doors he fell against the wall with his head in his hands. Break me. They wanted to break me. They only wanted my money. They wanted me to die. These thoughts kept running through his head and wished he could just forget. He wished he never came to this trial. It was too much for him. All he wanted was to leave and never come back. As if hearing his thoughts, his dad bent down and told him they were leaving. "Come Orion. Let's go to Grimmauld to get our things and we're leaving to Forks at once. Kingsley has already made us a portkey to the Potter Manor there. He will give us an owl on the results."
Orion nodded and stood up. He noticed that Snape was also in front of him and before he left, he handed him Lily's engagement ring. "I wanted to give you this. It's quite obvious she meant a great deal to you and I know it should be with you."
Snape just stood there for a few seconds. He hesitantly reached out and grabbed the ring. Surprising both Orion and Sirius, Snape gave Orion a hug. "Thank you, Orion," he said and quickly removed his arms. "I wish you a safe journey to your new home." With that said, he turned around and left.
Orion looked to his father still stunned. "Did he just.." Orion trailed off.
Sirius gave a bark of laughter and replied while still laughing, "Yes he did pup. Severus Snape, the potions master, gave you a hug."
Orion just rolled his eyes and grabbed his father's arm for side apparition. Once they arrived, they grabbed their packed bags and headed for the portkey. "Ready?" Orion asked his father.
Sirius smiled. "Definitely." Once their hands were on the scarf he whispered, "Lion's den."
And with a pop they landed in Potter Manor.
Once again Alice was squealing. Rosalie was the first one to speak. "What is it Alice?" She asked exasperatedly.
"There's a new student coming to Forks," she said excitedly.
Rosalie frowned, but it was Jasper who spoke next. "Is he or she special?"
Alice smirked before turning to Edward. "I don't know. Edward, is he?"
If Edward could blush, he would be. Swallowing a stutter, he said, "He's my mate and he's not fully human. He's a wizard."
This time it was Rosalie who squealed, surprising everyone. "A wizard? Really?"
Emmett looked at his wife in amusement. "What's so special about being a wizard?"
Edward read Rosalie's thoughts and his eyes widened. "It's because they already know about us. Vampires. Rosalie came across Wizards once and they didn't fear her."
Carlisle hummed. "It will make it easier for you to tell him then, if he won't already know." He would tell Esme everything that is being said. She would love to have another in the house.
Edward frowned at Jasper's thoughts. Jasper was worried that he won't be able to control himself around a human who will be around him with Edward being his mate. "You don't have to worry Jasper. Wizards blood doesn't call to us."
Jasper gave a curt nod. Alice, who squealed again, turned to her husband. "He's an empath." Jasper's eyes widened before a small smile graced his face.
Edward smiled and couldn't help but think his mate will fit in perfectly with his family.
