A/N: I'm so sorry for the late update! With UNI ending and starting a new job, I kinda lost creativity for a while. I'm going to try and finish this story before August.

After laughing at both Sirius and Severus, Orion grabbed Teddy. Teddy squealed put his tiny hands on his cheeks. Orion melted and looked at his new son with fond eyes. He kissed Teddy's chubby cheeks and was delighted to hear him laugh.

Laughing himself, Orion turned to Edward and saw him lifting both of the wizards onto the couch. "I can't believe I'm going to be getting a sibling. I didn't even know my gift can sense babies in the womb."

"It must be because they are wizards. It seems magic can do a lot more than we ever thought.' Edward walked to Orion and caressed his cheek. 'I'm so glad I found you Ry. I'm no longer just surviving, I'm living and it's thanks to you. I can't wait to spend eternity with you."

Orion flushed and kissed Edward, being careful of the baby in his arms. "I'm glad I met you to Ed. Even though we have only really known each other for a few days, I can't imagine myself without you. I can feel you in my soul and our magic in my veins. There is no me without you."

Edward smiled widely and kissed Orion on both his cheeks. Before he could properly kiss him, a voice interrupted him. "Wow."

They both turned and saw both Severus and Sirius looking at them curiously. Severus had his arm wrapped aorund Sirius' waist and Orion can feel the happiness coming from him. He knew how unsettled Severus was with Orion's gift and didn't say anything.

Orion shifted the giggling baby in his arms. "Wow what?"

"It's jsut the two of you. You haven't known each other for a week, yet your bond is very strong. Have you...consumated it?" Severus sneered.

Orion turned bright red and stuttered out a no. This was awkward and Orion was at risk of passing out. Why did Snape of all people have to say that.

Sirius began laughing at his son's cherry red face. "Come on pup. He was just asking."

Severus cracked a tiny smile. Orion stood with his mouth hanging open at him. "What in the merlin is going on. I'm joking with Severus Snape of all people."

Orion momentarily forgot about his mate's ability and winced when he felt his fury. "Don't Ed. It's over and done with."

Edward growled lowly at Severus, scooting even closer to Orion. Severus looked at him confused. "What's wrong with your vampire Orion?"

Orion tightened his grip on the dozing baby in his arms and laughed uneasily. "My mate is a little angry at your um.. earlier treatment of me. During school."

Just as the words left his mouth, both his dad and Severus stiffened. It seems they both forgot about Severus bullying Orion.

Edward on the other hand was listening to Sirius' thoughts. "How did I forget about that? Do we just forget about it? Severus and Orion already got that over with and he apologized." Edward was genuinely surprised with Sirius. He seemed to always put Orion first. Yes, they put it behind them but that doesn't excuse Severus' treatment of him when he was only a child. Orion admires Severus, but has his doubts about whether or not he could truly look past James.

Orion conjured a small bed for the infant before hugging Edward's front. "It's in the past love. It doesn't bother me," he stopped when Edward just started at him, well it doesn't bother me much." He wasn't lying. It only bothers him because Severus seems to still not trust or like him very much.

The awkward silence became too much. Orion was fidgeting, trying to come up with something to say. What could he say in this situation? He had more pressing matters at the moment. Severus was rigid, but he was the one who cut the silence. "My godson is coming."

It was Orion's turn to tense. "What?"

Severus' lip twitched. "Draco is coming."

Orion was a little mad. Why was he barely letting us know? This is our house. Our sanctuary. "Did you ever care to ask Severus? You know what he was like to me, yet you invite him to my home. You didn't even give us the courtesy to say yes or no."

Edward could tell Orion wanted to say more, but decided to stop him before he could harm anyone. Edward glanced at Sirius and saw him staring at Severus in shock. "Who's Draco?"

Orion was glaring at Severus. "We went to school together and he tried his best to make me miserable. His family were known death eaters. He was one to. He may have been a complete prat to me, but he never wanted that life. He had a chance to out me to Voldemort, but didn't."

Edward was a little confused as to why Orion was so angry and asked him. Orion softened his glare to look at his mate. "I don't want anyone to know where I am. This is the first time I ever had a home that I felt safe in. All my "friends" betrayed me and the ones who didn't, most likely blame me for what happened to their family. I just wanted to live in peace, away from the wizarding world."

Sirius was upset with Severus. He had shared Orion's thought on the matter with him and yet he did this. It may not seem like a big deal, but Orion still isn't over what happened. He had such a hard time with Luna and Neville coming here and they were his friends.

Orion relaxed into Edward's arms and rubbed at his head. "Whatever. He could come." He picked up the baby and carried him upstairs. It was getting late and he was tired. (I can't remember the time of day lol)

He felt Edward quietly following him and felt content with the comfort coming form him. He put Teddy in the crib beside his side of the bed and changed into his pajamas. Once he was ready, he smiled going to kiss Edward. Yes it was a long day, but at the day, he was glad he had Edward.

Orion was getting lost in the kiss and moaned when he felt Edward's hands run up and down his thigh. Orion shifted until he was on top of Edward and tugged at his hair. Before they could get any further, there was a cry. Edward groaned. "I guess we better get used to being interrupted huh?"

Orion chuckled and went to Teddy. "Yes we have to. He just needs a change and a bottle.' He went to the changing table and wondered if he would ever fully in peace. Things keep getting in the way and he feels as if he's on the edge of a breakdown. He's glad he has Teddy. His magic is calmer now that he and Teddy's magic are bonding. His magic is focused on protecting the infant and Orion is glad for it. That's one less thing to worry about.

Teddy whined and Orion broke out of his thoughts. He quickly put the diaper in the trash and sent Edward to fill up a bottle. Edward nodded, but turned. "Um how am I...?"

Orion laughed. He explained to Edward how much formula to put in the bottles. Edward nodded and hurried down. Thankfully, his vampire speed had the bottle ready to go. "I'll feed him Ry. You just get some sleep okay? You're exhausted and you need to sleep."

Orion frowned. He wanted to sleep, but didn't want to leave Edward to do everything. Before he could argue, Edward interrupted. "No Ry. You have been through a lot and you need to sleep. Besides I'm a vampire. I can do everything while you get sleep.' Orion saw how Edward looked down at Teddy and felt the love coming from him. 'Besides, he's our son now. Since I am your mate, it is my duty to take care of him to."

"I love you Edward," whispered in his mind. Orion doesn't understand why the bond between them is so intense, but he can't help but love it. This was his mate. The one he'll be with forever.

Orion woke up feeling better than he did yesterday. He wasn't feeling as emotional anymore. If anything he was drained. He shouldn't care what others think about him.

He smiled a little then opened his eyes. He sat up and frowned a little when he didn't see Teddy or Edward. He reached out with his empathy and noticed that Severus was still here. Orion shook his head and began to get ready. Once he was in a simple silver shirt and black pants, he headed downstairs.

Sirius was the first to greet his son. "Pup! How are you?"

Orion smiled at the concern. "I'm alright dad. I just had an overwhelming day."

Orion noticed the look Sirius have Severus and tried not to smile. It seems as if his dad had scolded the scowling man.

Edward was holding Teddy and gave him to Orion while giving him a quick peck. Teddy saw Orion and he immediately gave an excited squeal. Just hearing him laugh made Orion's day. There's something about a child's laughter that makes you so happy.

"Is everything alright down here?" Orion directed his question to Edward.

Edward leaned closer to Orion so only he would hear. "Yes. I'm glad I was here to hear Sirius yelling at Severus. It seems him being pregnant makes him more protective of you."

Orion laughed quietly. "I'm not surprised. He was already protective of me before and it's only going to get worse. We lost a lot of years with each other."

Edward kissed his cheek to bring him out of his thoughts. "Don't worry too much.' Orion saw Edward hesitate and smiled at him reassuringly. 'It seems Draco will be here shortly."

Orion's smile froze. "Ah so that's why dad was yelling so much." He didn't know how to react, but there was no going back. He isn't going to run like a coward.

"Is your family coming? What's happening to Alice?" Orion questioned.

Edward led Orion and Teddy to the couches where Severus and his dad were. "Jasper is bringing Alice here. Even though she isn't his true mate, he wants to know if she can ever be cured."

Orion looked to Severus and they both shared a look. Thankfully it was Severus who answered. "There's no need to bring her here. She has been apart from her mate for decades. There is no way she can recover."

Orion felt a bit of sadness coming from Jasper. He conjured a bassinet for the sleeping baby and took Edward's hands. "I'm sorry we can't do more."

Edward looked fondly at Orion. "There's nothing for you to apologize for. It's all on her. I'm just worried for Jasper."

"He'll be alright once he finds his mate," Orion reassured him.

Both Edward and Orion turned to the fireplace where it lit up. Orion stood with his wand in his hand.

Draco stepped out the fireplace with a kind of grace Orion knows he can't have. He looked put together like he always did, but his hair seemed to be a little longer. His face was narrow and he had bags under his eyes. Anyone can tell he's been having trouble sleeping and Orion can feel it.

Orion walked over to Draco. Everybody but Edward looked at him in concern. Orion smiled teasingly and held out his hand. "Ferret."

Draco tensed, but once he saw the teasing he relaxed. "Scarhead."

Orion let go and beckoned his mate over to him. Edward picked up the baby and stood next to Orion. "I'd like you to meet my mate and our new son, Teddy."

Orion saw Dracos eyes lit up with recognition. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Draco Black."

Everybody in the room had wide eyes. Orion hummed. It was brave of Draco to drop his family name. He would never get the Malfoy fortune. The most he would have is his trust fund. He wonders if Narcissa embraced her maiden name. He didn't doubt it since she loved Draco more than anything.

Orion took a deep breath and smiled genuinely. He would have more family and that's all he ever wanted. A clan slate with Draco was the best option. "Well then, welcome to our home cousin."
