A school outing:

Harry awoke the next morning to find Grace missing some of her feathers. At first, he was scared out of his wits. Then he reasoned that it was normal for a fire phoenix to experience its burning day, and be reborn from the ashes. But Grace utilised lightning as her element. What would happen now? He gingerly took up Grace from the attic and carried her downstairs, and opened the door of the null-box to find Remus still sleeping. He then placed her on the table.

Grace shook herself like a dog and approximately eighty per cent of her feathers fell out. Harry collected all the feathers and placed them in a cup. He realised that this was how probably the majority of phoenix cored wands were created. He would use these phoenix cores for his projects, as her magic was attuned to his core.

"All right girl, you rest. Take it easy and…."

CRACK!

Lupin immediately awoke with his wand, ready in hand, only to find Harry smoking with his hair on end. A small featherless baby phoenix staring at him. Harry had been mildly electrocuted, and Grace looked rather contented.

"Uweuweuewewwe!" Grace squeaked, as she bobbed her head and laughed at Harry. Remus found the pair hilarious, as it seemed like Grace with the embodiment of maximum sass.

"Well Harry, you do have a fantastic alarm clock there. Lots of personality. It was nice to sleep on a mattress. Rocks are unforgiving." Lupin commented.

"I know what a hard surface feels like yes, it is not nice on the back at all. Sleep well, uncle?" Harry asked.

"I certainly did. What now? I am famished." asked Lupin.

"Let me see. Mipsy?"

POP.

"Morning Mipsy. How has the repair to the manor been going? Any chance there is a functional kitchen and a functional shower? I don't want Uncle Moony to show up in the Dursley's memory at all." replied Harry

"Yes, Master Harry it works. Will master be needing breakfast too?" Mipsy asked hopefully.

"Yes, we do. You will have to apparate us. While Uncle Moony is having his shower, wash his clothes and give them a quick dry. We are going shopping today. Wait let me look….ah here it is…got it." Harry neatly folded a piece of paper and put it in his pocket.

"Yes Masters, Excellent. Hold Mipsy's hands."

Lupin found himself overlooking a manor that was easily the biggest he had ever seen. The entire building and property were approximately three times the Potter Estate. Mipsy began to walk slowly as Harry and Remus followed. The elf, then informed Harry about the repair work that had been completed successfully.

"Master Harry, the Master suite renovation is complete. The televisions and equipments is in boxes there. Master Harry will have to makes things works. The vineyards be doing well. We can sell the extra fruits to makes some more money. Mistress Lorna knows wheres to sells them."

Harry nodded as he rechecked the wine operation. The elves mostly did everything with magic and the process was very low effort. After walking around the vineyard, they soon arrived at the main building. After entering the main parlour, Remus noticed while the building looked old, the furniture was modern and fresh. Remus guessed that Harry had picked the pieces. There also seemed to be a lot of equipment and tools littered about.

"We will have to outfit the place with power cables, and I will have to make modifications. I want every convenience. You will see that I have crates all over." Harry commented. Remus nodded his head as he realised that to even maintain such a large house like this was a tall order. How would Mipsy and Tipsy manage?

Harry then called Hermione. She, who was enjoying her new title answered the phone,

"Priestess-Granger speaking. How may I help you, Lord Peverell?"

Both of them giggled.

"Just calling to let you know Grace is in the null-box but she will be out for a while. Remember you asked about the burning day some months back? It is more like a... lightning day. I got a full dose of electricity this morning. Not nice at all. She is essentially a cute but featherless chicken right now."

"Ouchie. I will stop by and check on her, poor thing."

"More important, first call from inside Peverell Manor. Excellent signal. Data is working too. So, we have confirmation. LTE inside Hogwarts will be funny shit. Maybe we can storm the Hogwarts library with a shielded document camera and just take pictures of everything. It might be the best way to dig in the old legends."

Remus realised that 'the pair' were planning to get unauthorised copies of Hogwarts books. Remus as a bibliophile himself smiled. He would not mind the extra reading material. Perhaps he could help narrow down the books only to the titles that were not well known? Those could become priority acquisitions.

Remus and Harry shared a delicious full English breakfast as they discussed Harry's plans for the nearby future. He realised that being in Harry's world implied not easy days of relaxation, but essentially a lot of break-neck work. Lupin did not mind. After all, it was an opportunity to learn something. He took a shower and found the warm water relaxing. He found his same clothes while still tattered and full of holes, properly cleaned. Unknown to Harry, Lupin was in terrible pain as he was suffering from injuries that he had sustained recently. He cleaned his bandages magically, reapplied them and walked into the kitchen, when he was decent. Harry then outlined the order of activities for the day.

"Madam Malkin is our first stop. No, you are not paying. Consider it nine years of birthday gifts from me. March has gone by, and I know the 10th was your birthday. Glamour yourself, let us go."

Harry glamoured himself, as the newly installed Goblin wards at Peverell Manor blocked all magical signatures. Not even the Ministry of Magic would be able to detect anything. While he was a Lord and not subject to underage magic, he was testing the ward to ensure that he could skip Hogwarts, and it seemed to funtion as planned. Remus held Harry's hand and their world slowly dissolved into a blur of colours. Harry and Remus were now within a nondescript side street. They walked for about two minutes until they arrived at Madam Malkin's store.

Harry was not the only boy at the store – rather there were two red-headed boys in the store with a plump, short woman. They seemed to be troublemakers.

"Woman, you call yourself our mother. He is Fred and I am George." both of them replied successively in tandem. The woman, clearly frustrated, took a newspaper and rolled it up menacingly.

WHACK! WHACK!

"You think I don't know the difference between both of you. I made you for Hecate's sake, don't try that rubbish again!" the woman replied.

Remus Lupin smiled. Harry did not miss the cue, that Remus knew the woman.

"Hello Molly, keep the volume down, doing private business today. It is Remus," he whispered. A brilliant smile lit up her face, and she embraced Lupin in a warm motherly hug.

"Only you could be so peaky. You look like you haven't eaten anything for a while. It is so good to see you. I know you have been bouncing around from place to place, come by for a meal sometime? I hope you are okay. How have you been and who is this young man?"

"Ah – you might be pleased to hear I have permanent residence in the Muggle world. I came into a small sum of money recently from a distant relative. I am very comfortable. It is because of that, I have this young man with me here today. He sadly lost his parents to the war, and I am his magical guardian. Please, nephew, introduce yourself?"

Molly thought about the loss of her twin brothers during the last war and intrinsically understood how painful the situation must have been for the boy.

"Er, Hi. My name is Hadrian Eagle and I am recent to the English wizarding world as a muggleborn. I am from America, but I grew up in England. I used to go to Ilvermony. It is nice to meet you, miss?"

"Molly Weasley my dear. This troublesome lot is Fred and George. They blew up their robes during potions class. Imagine that – second year and they are already causing explosions. So, you are not a Hogwarts student?" she queried.

"No. Don't think I qualify. I was an American citizen at the time the letters were sent out. I know it is unusual to meet a foreign and a muggleborn wizard, this is probably very odd.

Also, it might annoy you Ms Weasley, but I am kind of like your boys. I tend to make stuff that blows up. These two are my brothers from a different mother"

"Oh dear, not another one!" She replied.

"Can we invite him to dinner? We want to know about the Muggle world too. Dad has tons of questions. Maybe he might know how the airplanes stay up?" Fred asked, sensing they had another person to join their rambunctious activities.

"Arthur would probably love that. Not to worry Molly, I will send you an owl. Hadrian needs kids his age, as he only reads, all the time. You will find Harry knows a lot of magic but as of right now, and only has one friend. We can't have that, can we?"

"No, not at all. Perhaps he is like Percy. Percy loves his books, good boy but sometimes too serious." Molly replied, with a tinge of frustration colouring her voice.

"I understand. Now, Harry went to muggle school too, so he knows exactly how airplanes stay up. He can definately answer Arthur's questions." Remus replied.

This drew an incredulous look from Molly. She would invite the boy, if only so her husband would never ask the question again.

"I think just for knowing that, you have gotten an invite. Remus, you will owl me. When the boys are home for the holidays, we can do something. Or if he wants to come over and meet Ronald and Ginevra, I would like that." Molly replied.

"I would love to come over, but I might be between countries. International Wizarding mail and Immigration are taking a while. If I disappear, don't be concerned. I will be here for sure around next year June." Harry answered as he considered the Azkaban raid.

"Oh not to worry dear, whenever you are ready. As soon as you get settled, darling."

Molly gave Remus and Harry both hugs as she left. The seamstress already knew who was in her store as she looked at the glamoured faces, and she smiled.

So Harry had gotten in contact with Remus Lupin after all.

"She is nice, I can feel her magic. She loves her family. I kinda like her already." Harry commented, behind the privacy ward.

"That is the Weasleys for you. Dependable and lovable folks. Friendships come to define all the people involved. Just as your father was my friend and it changed both of us, the value in your life is not purely from inventions, but who you can reach out to and touch with your work and knowledge.

The Weasley family have also been staunch supporters of Dumbledore. But say if you became close with them, Molly would take your side. Especially if she saw what I saw yesterday.

I mention this specifically because to put the Weasleys in a better place, would infuriate their mortal enemies, the Malfoys. Let us also say Molly is as good as your grandmother when it comes to her culinary skills. Her specialities are the British classics."

"Consider it done. I will do anything to upset that little cunt, Draco Malfoy. We met him when Hermione and I went to get Vervain shoots at Slug and Jiggers. He called us 'filthy mudbloods.'

I wanted to kick his teeth into his asshole.

Any other people you think I should reach out to?" questioned Harry.

"I know the Longbottoms have suffered from the war very badly. I am talking about the total hospitalisation of Alice and Frank. We will have to visit them. If you could help them in any way, that would be one of the greatest gifts you could give to your godbrother, Neville." replied Lupin.

"I know about that somewhat. Giving him a chance to speak to his parents, would warm my heart. I wish I could talk to my mum and my dad. Hermione will have to help me with that. I think designing the Medi-bracelet will help us with fixing them.

Sirius first, then we can start with other things." replied Harry.

Madam Malkin once again looked at the shape of his eyes and already knew who was in her shop. She however pretended that Harry was a new customer. However,he chose to deliberately introduce himself:

"Good morning. You did some work for me already. I have made some modifications to the design. We have some meshwork, some belts and straps that pinch certain parts of my body and some small strings. Dark navy blue, two sets. Acromantula. For him here, five sets in this previous design, assorted colours. Acromantula. Pick the colours according to your preference. Dark pallets."

"Ah you again, Welcome back young Lord. I heard there was a commotion sometime last week at Gringotts. A finely dressed young man with an intimidating mask stormed Gringotts and scared the populace. Everyone wants to know who made the robes.

My competitors know it was me because they are quite aware that they didn't do it." Madam Malkin laughed.

"Ah yes. That was me. They had a right to see your handiwork. Let me put it like this - in the last war people dear to me were killed. More importantly, Magical England suffered from the loss of business. I am sure things were not too good." Harry replied.

"Yes, it was terrible. I lost a lot of business. I had to dip into my savings, and I almost depleted it." she replied as she remembered the difficult times.

"Exactly. I am going to make the scum pay. As to why I am telling you this, I heard they wanted to kill you for selling Muggle clothes. I might as well look immaculate while taking the vermin out, and you are going to help with that." Harry replied.

Madam Malkin realised that Harry was truly like his mother and his father combined into a single person. She replied, "Well when you put it like that, I can't say I disagree. Do you want to look stylish while doing it? No problem. Come back in about three hours for these items."

Remus left Madam Malkin's to purchase a new trunk at Briggs & Stewart. This was the same business where he had bought his Hogwarts trunk, as a young man. Remus felt that for this new chapter of his life, he should probably support the business once again. He outfitted it with every option he thought was useful. Many of those enhancements were considered a small fortune by other wizards, but one thousand galleons were no issue to him now. As he purchased the trunk, Harry idly commented to Lupin.

"I understand why these products are expensive. Multiple charms on a single item are quite possible as long as you are capable of dumping a lot of energy into stabilising them. These items probably completely drain the core of a wizard in their construction, and they have to be done over a long time. And while you can shrink things and apparate with them, don't think you can put a house inside there. There are limits to what the charm matrix can hold. Also, you better pray it doesn't take incidental spellfire from somewhere. The results are quite explosive." Harry commented.

The man behind the counter was shocked and nodded appreciatively.

"I must say young man, you must be building things yourself to know those principles. I must congratulate you on your knowledge. Craftmanship is largely ignored now. I feel appreciated both in the business I have received, and the appreciation of the constraints I had to work with. I will not ask the name I am experienced enough to see you both are wearing glamours. I will say you will go far young man." The owner replied.

"Let me give you a tip. Don't build and then charm. Charm and then join the pieces without magical methods. Use muggle methods if you must. Advantage? Spellfire can only damage an item with a single charm at a time. Also, you can have as many charms as you want if you think carefully about the arrangement. Also, you won't have to empty your core. But be careful, still exercise caution." Harry replied.

"I never thought about that! Yes, it makes sense! I will have to investigate. But thank you for the tip. You must be quite talented!" The man replied kindly.

"Thank you, good sir. I know it seems odd, but surely you know a lot of things we use come from the Muggle world. Ask a Muggleborn to take you to hardware, and look around. Ask questions. I promise you will enjoy many of the items and modern materials."

"Will do! Have a wonderful day gentlemen!" the man behind the counter brightly replied.

Lupin used the trunk to store all his purchases as he jumped from store to store. He visited many places that Harry was familiar with, and purchased specific books and Wizarding materials. After those things were taken care of, both of them went to the Eyelops Owl Emporium. It was here that a rather big snowy owl took a liking to Remus. He purchased the owl and all the necessary supplies that would keep her properly spoiled.

"I think I will name her Mercury. I think I have everything I need. Time to track back and get the clothes, and then something at Tom's place I think." Remus commented.

Harry nodded as they returned to Madam Malkin.

"Yes, my dears that will be 1400 galleons. The custom robes represent most of the cost, especially for your guardian. He is a strappingly large man after all." Madam Malkin commented, grinning a bit.

"Excellent. 1500 for you, we were not here. Don't worry, with the kind of work we do, we tear through a lot of clothes and we might be back soon. I have a friend who will require robes just like mine. Her options might be more feminine. But yes, all modern lines and form-fitting. You get our aesthetic quite well. She will greet you with, I am the troublemaker's friend." smiled Harry as he laughed cantankerously.

"I look forward to working with her, certainly. Thank you for supporting me so graciously young Lord. I hope you and your guardian have a fine day." replied Madam Malkin as she released that she had made almost a year's salary with the robes he alone had bought. And he was sending another customer? She would jump on the opportunity.

Harry and Remus arrived at the Leaky Cauldron and Harry decided he would try something different. Remus Lupin however ordered exactly what he enjoyed eating during the Wartime. Cottage Pie, Bangers and Mash along with the Garden Salad had been his main meal. Additional things included Wedge Fries, Firewhisky, and an odd some Gillywater. Harry and Remus ate their meal as Remus told Harry about his father.

"This is Remus Lupin," Tom thought to himself.

He had heard the rumours that Remus was a werewolf, but Tom never really cared much about such things. It was only until the other young man started to eat that the mannerisms revealed it was indeed Harry Potter. This warmed Tom's heart. Harry Potter was slowly getting his family back. Perhaps one day, he would ask the necessary questions. Today his job was only to make them happy. They lingered into lunchtime as they ate their meal and laughed, as Tom just casually observed the pair.

So finally, Harry Potter was in the company of his late father's friend.

When the meal was all finished, Remus revealed his identity and told Tom that he wanted to square off. Remus upon hearing that his tab over all the years was 400 galleons, touched his moleskin pouch and paid Tom 1000 galleons. He explained that he had stepped into a small inheritance and he was thankful that Tom had helped him when things were rough. Remus also explained he hoped that Tom would put the rest into his business, as a favour from a friend. Tom was surprised, but he accepted the gift gladly. Harry and Remus walked towards an empty corner within the pub, and apparated. Under all the noise and the boisterous crowd present in the inn, nobody cared much for their sudden disappearance.

Harry arrived at home, and Grace had sprouted a lot of small feathers. She looked endearingly sweet as a young chick. Harry snapped some pictures as they both sat down and took a break. He then looked at the documents Gringotts had provided and decided that the easiest thing would be for a cabbie to carry them to the address. He wrote the address on a piece of paper and then took Remus to the road in front of Dursley residence. After waiting a while, they finally caught a cab. The driver dropped off both Harry and Lupin at the location.

Harry and Remus approached the rather worn-down house. As soon as they touched the gate, Harry knew the Goblins had summoned magic at this location.

"Dad took some kind of package from the Goblins," Harry commented, as he continued to walk towards the dilapidated, creaky house. It was at this point that the house revealed its true appearance. The house was a modern looking flat, that was luxurious and painted in a cheerful warm green. The house was full of stainless steel and transparent glass panels.

"Well, looks like dad got one on you. This looks rather modern. You officially have a nicer place than me, no this won't do at all!" Harry complained as Lupin laughed. As they approached the door, Harry took the single key out of his pocket and handed it to Remus.

"All yours, do the honours," said Harry as the key slid into the look with a metallic sound. The lock could be heard as Remus turned the key. A small brown envelope fell from the door and Remus gently opened it. He read aloud:

"Dear Moony,

This is for you. In case Harry ends up by the Dursleys, you can keep in contact with him. It has full amenities. Lily chose the architect. I understand by Muggle standards it is very fancy. I got to say, I love my wife's taste. It has power and electricity, and all the bills have been paid from our account. When you move into it, Gringotts will take the bills out from your account.

The appliances haven't been plugged in, but don't worry you will figure it out. You have a Duelling room, a full gym, a small potion lab and a personal library for you to populate with your books.

Make sure and train Harry, if we aren't with you anymore when you get this. I am hoping we can just trash this letter after the war, but if we don't you know what to do.

Your loving brother and sister,

Prongs and Lills."

Lupin's face became sad as Harry patted his back, befo they both entered the house. On flicking the light switch, Harry noticed that there was no power and the place was severely dusty. He took out his wand and summoned a high-intensity Lumos. He went from room to room and finally found the breaker box in the laundry room. Harry opened the panel and began to flick every breaker. He switched on every light switch, the air conditioner and explained:

"That is called the breaker box. It is the main power supply. It protects the house in case of an electrical issue. You will figure it out, not to worry. Mipsy? I need you to find me. Moony's new house."

"Masters Harry and Remus, what Mipsy be doing for you?" Mipsy questioned in her sing along voice.

"Suspend all Peverell Manor repairs – tell everyone to come here. I want to chit chat with everyone." Harry said, nodding his head.

Mipsy disappeared and within thirty seconds, a gigantic cacophony of bodies appeared silently in the room. Lupin was surprised that Harry owned this many elves, but then Harry was no usual wizard. Remus also noticed that most of his elves had hair? And some of their features almost seemed human? They were different and while their clothes were multicoloured and odd, there was no rags present. He also noticed that all the elves seemed to adore Harry

"Welcome my dearest friends, some good news. Except for Mipsy and Tipsy, none of you know this man. He is Remus Lupin, my official Uncle and also the childhood friend of my father James Potter, who as you know sadly is no longer with us. Snaggletooth – You will be the primary house elf for this property. I do understand you have some age on you, so don't work too hard. You will find you have a lot of work to do still, but these tasks are gentler on the bones."

Snaggletooth nodded.

"The rest of you, I want this house spick and span in thirty minutes. I like the Gym here and the duelling facilities. Chances this will become a hotspot. Whatever Uncle needs, whoever is available, you are summoned with 'Available Potter elf' if Snaggletooth is indisposed.

Other than that, and the repairs which I have noted that are proceeding rapidly at Peverell Manor, I do thank you from the bottom of my heart for your excellent work. As I always say, we are family. Besides this emergency clean, nothing else my friends. Don't forget to report for your magical therapy sessions, I like what I am seeing. You look far healthier, and I am very satisfied."

The elves could feel the genuine gratitude coming from Harry Potter and it nourished them with powerful magic. Little did Harry know that the casual compliments that he gave to the elves were easily worth a year's worth of magic in comparison to some of their previous masters. And if that was not amazing enough, Harry Potter would nourish them by directly giving them energy. No other wizard had ever done that.

Harry Potter was the greatest wizard indeed, according to his adoring house-elves. Ms Grangey was also held in similar regard.

Harry demonstrated how electrical plugs were used and soon the house sprang to life. With the cleaning now done, the house felt brand new. Another elf had appeared with about a month's supply of groceries – Harry had simply instructed Pickity to utilize some of his groceries from the extra refrigerator he had installed (with some trusty compulsion) in the Dursley kitchen. The elf began to levitate the groceries into the new refrigerator. Lupin found a wardrobe and began unpacking all his clothes wandlessly from his trunk. Very soon, all his clothes, potions ingredients and stationery were settled in their respective places. Finally, Mercury was on her perch and she was set up with her seeds and water.

"Hoot Hoot!" she exclaimed.

"Atta girl, I can see you are settled in," replied Harry. He then continued:

"Well, nice place. Oh, I almost forgot I had prepared this in advance, and I forgot to mention it."

Harry momentarily slipped his hand into his pocket and presented Remus with a shielded smartphone. He outlined how to add contacts and make calls. He also demonstrated how to write a message, just to be sure. Lupin struggled to write a message but as soon as he understood the concept, he felt like he had a better chance at eventually using the device with proficiency as the time went by. The phone had already had some contacts stored on the phone, as Harry had done most of the setup along with modifications.

Hermione called and mentioned that she felt like eating Subway. Harry considered it would be a good opportunity for Remus to see the mundane world in a controlled way.

"Yep, alright call one of my elves and ask them to carry you to Uncle Moony's house. We were unboxing things and I am here. Yes, it might be good to show him how his bank card works. Yes, see you in ten minutes." replied Harry as he hanged up.

Harry explained how Muggle credit cards and debit cards were used to purchase items. He then walked Remus through common British currency denominations and explained the equivalent Wizarding money value. Remus truthfully found Muggle money to be more practical – using multiples of two and five and one hundred made calculations easy. The bills also were lightweight. Hermione appeared with Snaggletooth, all dressed and ready. Hermione nodded and said,

"Snaggletooth, the little side street that you showed me a couple of months ago, between the trash bins. Everybody hold hands, three…two….one….go."

Remus Lupin found himself in a darkened alleyway where nobody would notice anything suspicious. Harry began to walk towards the Subway joint, with Hermione in tow and Remus bringing up the rear. Harry was also a regular at the place and the people knew him well enough. He then explained that his uncle was a researcher and that he was away for many years. He was now acclimatising to being back home.

It was at this point, that one of the most surprising things happened. The girl scribbled something on a piece of tissue and handed it to Harry. He read it and suddenly smiled afterwards:

"Hogwarts 98. Play it cool. Your uncle still has his wizard robes on. Make him ditch it soon. Take your time, I know he is clueless. Vanish this napkin afterwards.

-Love, Evelyn."

Harry passed the note to Hermione and then to Lupin. They all smiled. Evelyn had never suspected that the boy and girl who were her regular customers were also Wizards. When the other two families left, the girl shouted to her co-workers "I will handle this lot, go take a break the rest of you."

When her co-workers, left and disappeared to the back, Harry observed the witch stretching into her pants while she seemed to flick something. Harry realised she had cast the spell while having most of the wand in her pocket. She then spoke:

"Privacy ward up, I have a friend who works at the security company that monitors the place. He will scrub everything out. I know both of your faces, but had no idea you were a wizard and witch. Your uncle's first time? Evelyn Joseph at your service."

"Hadrian Singh, Jean Von Neumann and Remus Lupin. Yep, he is not so sure. It is nice to run into a magical like ourselves. Hook my uncle up, he has no idea what our fast food is like."

"Yes, question. More meat or more vegetables? Extra cheese?" Evelyn asked.

"More meat, some vegetables, extra cheese, I think. I like garlic bread. I think I might be able to eat two footlongs? I do have an appetite right now." Remus replied.

Evelyn then settled on a combination Remus was pleased with and then made what Hermione usually ate. Evelyn then took Remus through using his bank card. Remus realised that the affair was easy enough. He was stunned, by the available options. The Wizarding world had absolutely nothing like this. Remus then procced to ask:

"Harry, is there this much variety at the places like this?"

"London is a crazy place for food because we have the established British things. Also, we have several immigrant communities that are doing their traditional food items along with fusion cuisine. Only a couple thousand places. We will help you pick out the best places. I am going elsewhere for my food this evening. I feel Greek is on the menu."

At this point Evelyn interjected:

"Yes, it will be good for your uncle. We have more variety. It was always the same thing at Hogwarts. It was tasty, but I got bored quickly. It was nice running into Wizards, I miss magical England, but the pay is way better here. My magic helps me with the rest. Hope I will see you regularly."

She beamed a big smile.

After the whole affair was finished, Harry walked and pointed out some of his favourite places within the area. Hermione also explained that since she had gotten access to a salary and the ability to get around, it was not uncommon for her to buy a lot of food from many places. She felt hungry regularly, and she ate whatever she wished. Then, Harry turned a corner and headed to a small joint that seemed to have a much more homely feel. Harry was a regular here as the conversation from the owner was easily,

"Good to see you, the usual? Or big order today?" in a thick Greek accent.

"Double the big order. Buying for friends."

Yiannis was indeed a very happy man today. This was an easy eighty pounds, he thought to himself. Harry picked his favourite items from the menu. After a brief waiting period, Harry collected three large bags that were filled with food. He was distinctly aware that when Hermione was done with the sandwich, she would get hungry soon. There were multiple portions of Lamb and Chicken Souvlaki, Fries, Kleftiko, Gemista and many other items. He paid the total and was greeted with "See you again Hadrian, Opa!" which was his favourite phrase.

Harry then ducked into one of his preferred apparition spots that was well hidden and then whispered "Alight everyone hold hands, any available Potter elf, pickup at spot number twenty-one. Make it discreet. Null-box."

Remus found himself in the familiar null-box with his charges. Harry handed over a single bag and told Tipsy

"Tell the entire team thanks for their speedy assistance. I have some Greek food here. Have fun!"

Tipsy nodded and smiled as she apparated away. Elves did not need to eat regularly if they were being nourished by magic, but Harry had never accepted that explanation. Harry insisted that his elves expose themselves to food from all over, as a commandment. He also instructed them to buy whatever they wanted from their salaries. They could always ask Lorna to make purchases and then reimburse her if he wasn't around.

The elves after experiencing some of the options available to them, made it their business to discuss preferences. They were preparing to eventually surprise Harry and his family with a menu that was continental, oriental, ethnic and everything else – a truly world-class menu with as much variety as possible. The plan was to spring it on him, as soon as they had acquired the expertise. Lorna was secretly supplying the recipes and the elves were far more literate – Harry and Hermione often had reading and storytime sessions with the elves, on the suspicion that they needed socialisation like anyone else.

Master Harry and his family would only receive the best.

Remus listened to the conversation provided by his nephew and niece – Harry and Hermione had plans for the afternoon that involved experimentation, and he was anxious to see the process. Remus considered carrying many of these food items to Tom - perhaps they could add value to Tom's establishment. Hermione apparated away with Whootsy and shortly returned with a book bag and a couple of hardshell cases, that were filled with some personal research. Remus drank the Coca-Cola and looked on.

"This is going to be interesting," Remus thought to himself.
