When they arrived, Orion took Teddy out of his carrier. The baby was playing with a light up ball Orion had conjured when they left. His hair kept changing to match the colors and it was amusing for all of them. Before they even got inside, Rosalie rushed outside and greeted them.
She cooed at the small baby and had a dreamy look in her eyes. She Rosalie was also the happiest he's ever felt from her. "How are you doing Rosie?"
"I'm honestly happy. Thank you again Orion," she said sincerely. Orion blushed, but nodded. He was glad that he could do something for them. He wanted them to be happy. She walked back inside and motioned for us to follow her.
Edward smiled at his mate's thoughts. He couldn't help but wonder what his mate would look like with more children. He just seemed to have a natural instinct.
Orion blinked at the feel of love from Edward. He felt as if they were going too fast. He tried to think about it, but felt the mate Bond trying to tie them together forever. The mate Bond is obviously a majority of their relationship, but they do have genuine feelings towards each other.
Orion shook his head of those thoughts. He gave Draco a concerned look at his nerves. "Are you alright?"
"I'm not sure," he confessed. He gave a wary glance at the Cullen's house. "I am anxious to go inside."
Edward's head tilted to the side and listened to Jasper's thoughts. He was having the same reaction as Draco. Well, it looks like someone has found their true mate.
Orion was concerned but encouraged Draco to walk inside. He didn't know what was going on but had an idea from Edward.
Once they walked through the door, Draco and Jasper's eyes connected and everyone knew that Jasper had found his true mate. He had found the one he was meant for.
Orion was bemused at the entire situation. What a coincidence that they both found their mates here of all places? Fate loves to play with our lives it seems. Orion looked at Draco and noticed that he looked a little scared. "Rosalie can you take Teddy please?"
Rosalie didn't hesitate and took the baby. She went to the corner of the room, out of the way just in case things got out of hand. Orion went to Draco and put a hand on his shoulder. He heard a growl and stiffened. Orion closed his eyes and pushed calm emotions into everyone. He could feel his muscles tense and wanted everyone to calm down. It wouldn't be ideal for Jasper to lose his head and hurt his own mate. And if he went after Orion, Edward would go after Jasper. Once he felt everyone relax, he introduced Draco.
"This is Draco Black, my cousin," Orion said, but stumbled over his last name.
Draco, not like himself, awkwardly waved. You can tell he noticed what he did because he grimaced and straightened up. He gave a nod and said bluntly, "So you're my mate."
Orion choked back a laugh at the way he worded it. Technically Draco was Jasper's mate, but Draco wanted to take control of the situation. He still could feel Draco's nerves and knew that he was hiding behind his mask. He hoped that Jasper and Draco could help each other.
The silence in the room was broken by Emmett laughing. Just like that, the tension was broken. Jasper walked up to Draco and put a hand to his cheek. Orion looked away, feeling as if he was intruding on their moment. He and Edward walked towards the kitchen with the rest of the vampires.
Rosalie was seated on the chair, with Teddy in her help. He was still playing with the light up ball and it made everyone smile. It made them gasp to when he changed his hair to the different colors. "It's amazing that he could do that," smiled Carlisle.
"I was surprised his Matamorphmagus abilities showed so early,' confessed Orion. 'It just shows to prove how poweful he is." He gazed lovingly at his son.
"You're taking parenthood surprisingly well Orion," beamed Esme.
Orion slightly blushed. "I've always wanted family of my own. I never really had one before I found out who my true parents are. "
Esme nodded. "How many children do you want?"
Orion looked to Edward and saw that he was listening intently. Edward's eyebrows lifted when he saw the number in his head. Orion shifted in his seat but mumbled "6".
He blushed when he saw that everyone was looking at him in mild shock. Rosalie however, understood. The desire for your own children go deep. The desire to have a family that you can give your love to and hve it returned.
Orion felt Edward's hand on his waist. "I've always wanted a big family to. I think it's a perfect number Ry."
He relaxed at his mate's words. Orion breathed a sigh of relief when Draco and Jasper walked in. He really didn't want to answer more questions for fear of it turning to embarassing ones.
Jasper and Draco were standing close together and even without his gift he can sense how cam they both are. Orion was happy for them.
Draco walked to sit on the other side of Orion and Jasper followed. "So what brought you to visit? Besides introducing us to Draco?"
Orion shot Edward a worried glance. He didn't want anyone to treat Severus differently. He knew that it would take a while before Severus could trust in him. He did bow to a dark lord to survive.
Of course Draco was the one to answer. "My idiotic godfather believes that Har-Orion will turn evil of he is exposed to dark magic."
"Dark magic?" Jasper asked.
"We were discussing ways to get rid of Aro and possibly the others. A spell called fiendfyre, which is cursed fire, was suggested. It is known to be an advanced dark spell," Orion explained. He genuinely didn't feel worried about controlling the spell or even going dark. He just wasn't that type of person.
"I know you aren't Ry," Edward whispered. Orion kissed him, not bothering to make it chaste. He was grateful of the support and wanted to show it to him.
Orion pulled away and tried to ignore his flaming face. He weas blushing much too often lately and wondered if he going to permanently be red.
"Is it Emmett still with Alice?" Orion asked.
He sae Esme and Carlisle's faces dim a bit. "Yes. We don't know what to do in this situation and are trying to find a solution."
Orion hummed. "Is there a coven that can take her in and try and help her? To be honest, there's a low chance of her recovering. Too much of her mind has, for lack of a better word, become broken. She was without her mate for too long and that made her unstable."
Orion took a deep breath and clutched Edward's hand when he felt the despair and fear coming from the Cullen's.
"So there's nothing we can do to help? What about the magical world?" Esme asked.
Thankfully Draco answered this as Orion still didn't know too much about the wizarding world.
"How far gone is she? If her mind isn't too broken we can ask uncle Severus if he help."
Before the Cullen's could start demanding or have hope, Edward quickly said, "I don't think you'll be able to. When I was in her mind, it was scattered. Most of her thoughts were broken and didn't make any sense. She seemed to only be coherent when she thought of her visions."
"What about her visions? How many has she had since she has been with this coven?" Draco asked.
"From what I got from her ramblings and her scrambled thoughts, the only visions she's had was decades before she joined the coven," Edward answered.
Draco's eyebrows furrowed and we can all tell by his grimace that it wasn't a good sign for what he was about to say next. "That isn't a good sign. When creatures find their soulmates, they become dependent on the other. Especially when they have gifts. With their mates by their side, it thrives and evolves."
Orion nodded understandingly. "How does the wizarding world deal with creatures that have gone insane? Or creatures whose soulmates have died?"
"They mercy kill them," Draco said. At once, the vampires got defensive. Jasper jumped in front of Draco and snarled warningly at them.
"Wait does that mean that Aro is in the same state?" Orion asked quickly to diffuse the tension.
Carlisle took a human breath. "I've seen him use his power on others."
"That doesn't make any sense. Are you sure you've witnessed him using it? I mean it is quite easy to fake," Draco said.
Orion was trying not to twitch in his seat. He felt bad for the thoughts running in his head and he hoped Edward didn't think anything bad of him.
"I think we should get rid of Aro. From what I've heard and what people have told me about him, he's no better than a dark lord," Orion hesitantly said.
He felt better when Draco nodded with him. He felt the confidence to continue speaking. "There's no helping Alice at this point. She's too far gone and once we kill Aro she will die anyway."
It didn't matter that he said it softly, everyone heard what he said and some of the Cullen's weren't happy. Surprisingly, the one holding his son was one of those Cullen's. Orion tensed and immediately went to get Teddy from Rosalie.
When Rosalie went to snarl at him, he acted quickly and grabbed him. He immediately put up a shield, just in case Rosalie decided to attack him while his son was in his arms.
"We can't just kill Alice. She has been a part of our family for years!" Rosalie shouted. Everyone can tell she was only holding back because she was pregnant. Her arm were wrapped protectively around her middle.
Feeling Teddy's fear he sent a patronus to his dad. Hopefully he will immediately apparate. Right after his tohguht had finished, his dad appeared with a loud pop.
"What's going on pup?" He demanded, sensing the tension in the air.
Orion gave Teddy to his dad. "Take him home. I will be there soon okay?"
Sirius looked as if he wanted to argue but once he saw the desperation in his son's eyes, he nodded and apparated out.
Orion let out a breath and felt Draco come up beside him. How are these people vampires? Do they not understand the danger if they don't kill Alice and Aro?
He turned around and saw the Cullen's looking at him with a frown. "Are you insane? Alice has been playing you for years! Nothing she felt was genuine for you! She pretended to be a part of your family and you still want to save her?"
Esme's sorrow was starting to choke him, but he continued on. "Do you think Alice will spare you when you release her? She's too far gone and I will not have her endanger my family!"
A this point, Orion was swaying and sweating profusely. Every breath he took was short. Draco and Edward stood by him and were trying to help.
"Ry what's happening? What's going on?" Edward demanded. He felt useless towards his mate at this moment and was getting desperate.
"It's Esme," Jasper said. He didn't really believe the wizards when they told them that Esme was gifted. But at this moment he could feel Orion choking on the intense emotions coming from Esme.
Esme looked shocked and looked to Carlisle for help. "I don't know what I'm doing. What's happening?"
Draco was looking frantic. "Esme stop! He's suffocating."
Jasper crouched beside Draco. He looked to Edward and said, "Get him out of here. NOW!"
Edward immediately picked Orion up and ran as fast as he could to Sirius.
Draco looked angry. "He was just trying to help! You are creatures for Merlin's sake! Are you really going to let Aro and Alice live when they are a threat?"
Carlisle shifted and wrapped an arm around Esme. "It's not right to kill."
"Who says? Orion is trying to protect you and his family. Are you forgetting that Rosalie and Esme are with child? Alice wouldn't hesitate to kill them both," sneered Draco.
Jasper interlocked his hand with Draco's. "I agree with them."
His words alone seemed to have shocked Esme and Carlisle. Rosalie however was just sitting and she looked to be in thought.
"We're going to see if Orion is alright. Why don't you think about what we should do and how we can keep our family safe," Jasper said and walked out the door with Draco.
Before Draco left, he turned and smiled. "I would be prepared for Sirius' arrival. He's very protective of Orion and you almost killed him."
They walked out and took the car that driven to the Cullens. Draco hoped Orion was alright and hoped that his idiotic bloody godfather won't say anything stupid.
