Chapter 2

The Wind Ninja Academy was no joke, not even in the early 50s where I had landed, 4 years of almost constant training and I was a Ninja Master, Specializing in Earth, but capable of doing some of the air and water techniques, I had been asked to stay and train the next class, but I knew that I had my mission given to me by the morphing masters, So I bid Sensei farewell, grabbed my gear and Streaked North towards Washington State to grab what I hoped would be a ranger morpher. Stopping in the Desert of the Yakima Valley, about 40 Miles out of Silver Hills.

"Ok, first possible morpher." I say to myself as I look at the vast desert, I had put a lot of thought into how I would go about finding this one, buried in the Earth. I put my hand on the ground and pulsed my ninja energy into the ground going 40feet deep and 200feet wide in all directions, Earth Ninja echolocation, a great technique that Sensei had taught me personally as a kind of Graduation Gift, Dang nothing in this area, I moved for 3 hours through the desert, Drinking water often to stave off heat stroke, I place my hand on the ground as the Sun was setting, deciding that this would be the last try for today, when all of a sudden I get back a Metallic Trapezoid, about half the length of a 12 pack of Soda, about 113ft Northwest by West and 23ft underground, I excitedly streaked in the direction, Pulsed my Echolocation again, and now it was just 23ft beneath me, I preformed the hand sign and dove into the earth, disrupting nothing, the desert was a silent as it could be for about 3 minutes, until...

POP! the earth gave a small poof of Dust and there I was holding the Quantum Control Box, I decided to wait a few moments before putting my hand in, knowing that as this was a change to the timeline that they would be showing up soon. I streaked towards a dense wood about 12 miles away, reached into my ninja subspace area and pulled out a tent and a crystal, I had hidden the Control Box in my Ninja Subspace and just finished setting up my tent and was getting a fire pit created when I heard them stomping through the Woods, using my echolocation quickly determining that their was 3 of them, I continued to set up the firepit, putting wood into it.

"They must be right around here somewhere." A mans voice called out. I smirked and preformed a handsign before throwing a small fireball at the Naphtha covered wood, causing it to catch fire and illuminating my small campground.

"Whose there?" I call out with a tremble in my voice, a ninjas first tool is deception.

The three people stepped out of the line of trees and into the view that my fire illuminated, wearing Time Force uniforms.

"Hello, we are park rangers out looking for a lost person, are you the lost person?" The one in the center asked me, I had to refrain from laughing, Park Rangers, out this late, with no flashlight?

"No, I don't believe that I am lost, just camping." I tell them as I point over my shoulder at my tent.

"Well, Sir, we are going to have to search your tent to make sure that nobody is stashed away inside of it." The middle one states.

"I don't consent to any search, specially from Time Force officers." I finally have enough of this guys attitude. When suddenly I have three Chronoblasters pointed at me.

"Freeze! You are under arrest for theft of Time Force technology and tampering with the timeline!" The Left one shouted.

still sitting down, unphased by their blasters I retort. "I have broken no laws, and I act in the service of those way above you." I tell them, Tossing a Crystal in my hands I look at the man who looks like a younger Captain Logan. "Here Logan, play this, that's my credentials and it will tell you how to progress from here." Logan catches the crystal but the sudden movement causes the other Time Force officers to discharge their weapons as I was hoping they would, I quickly whip out the Control Box and use it to catch the blasts, Kicking the control box on, I smirk. "Thank you kind folks, it would have taken a lot to turn this on." I place it back in my Subspace and wait for the Hologram Message from the Red Master to finish telling Officer Logan what to do.

"Alright, no crime has been committed, this man is to be Deputized, and i have a Oath from the Morphing Masters that this wont negatively affect the timeline." Officer Logan said pocketing the crystal and pulling out a spare Time Force Badge and Chronoblasters and handing them over to me. "Continue as you were Ranger, we will be leaving now." He turns to the others and nods and they leave. I place the badge and blaster in my Subspace Pocket right next to my Identification paperwork and bank info. I decided to them boil some water and make a cup of noodles to make sure that they are gone, I Finish my noodles and pull the Control Box out of its hiding spot and smile, This was it, the wish of Every Power Rangers Fan, I was about to join the Ranger family. I place my left hand into the glowing hole of the box and the entire box lit up and then transformed into the Quantum Morpher, I stood up and quickly knocked down and folded up my tent and put out the fire and covered it to make sure that there would be no forest fire. I then Streaked south back towards California, I wasn't about to actually Spend the Night in the Mountains of Washington State in the late fall. Stopping when I reached Mariner Bay, I get an motel room for the next couple days, My search for the Gem and the Coin might take a little while. So I went to sleep.

The next morning i quickly showered and got something to eat, then headed out and found a phone booth, I needed a phone book so I could find the address of the Oliver's address, as much as I didn't want to commit theft, I was going to have to to get this Power Coin, looking through the book I found the address, wrote it down and left the phone booth after looking like I had made a call. I headed to the diner down the street to get a breakfast. After eating I go on a long walk, as this is the fifties nobody looked at me strangely.

I walked to where the Oliver's live and climbed a tall tree, and waited to see Mr. Oliver was leaving for work as his two children ran out, His wife leaving as well to get on a bus about 20 minutes later, the house was empty. I knew that I might not have a long time so I quickly Ninja Streaked through an open window to land in Living Room, I started my search quickly but thoroughly without throwing the house into disarray, it wasn't until I found a Grandfather clock in the Dining Room that I saw it, The Dragon Power Coin, I went and quickly grabbed a screwdriver , then went back to the clock, opened the face and pulled out the coin which flashed Green in my hand, I replaced it with a Metal Cast of the Dragon Coin from 2022 that I had been playing with when the Morphing Masters had recruited me to this mission.

Closing the Grandfather clocks face, I subspace pocketed the Dragon Coin, donned my full ninja outfit and Streaked out of the window, this time landing back in the tree where I couldn't be easily seen and Ninja Changed to my regular outfit and pulled out a book, The Hobbit, and made it seem like I was reading it while in the tree, 40 minutes later I left the tree, book in hand and headed back to the diner for a coffee and early lunch, then headed out to a bike store, I was going to need some way to visibly enter towns,

I purchased a Motorcycle and a small closed trailer to go on it so I could seem to be lugging around my possessions. Thank the Morphing Grid for the Identity that the Masters set up for me. I pulled into a gas station to fill the tank of my Triumph Tiger 100, grabbed a map of California, if I wasn't going to just rapidly streak everywhere, I needed to know how to get to Reefside from here. I then went back to the motel and chilled out meditating and just staring at the Quantum Morpher on my wrist and the Dragon Coin, I hadn't used either, but I would soon morph.

I waited for the sun to set before going to sleep, making sure to lock the door. I woke early and checked out of the motel. Getting on my motorcycle after putting my travel bag in the trailer, I kick started the Motorcycle and took off, listening to an MP3 Player i had with a wireless headphone in, Luckily I was listening to music when I was recruited and that my Morpher allowed me to charge both the MP3 Player and the headphone, I travelled Northbound to Reefside.

I was riding for about 3 hours before pulling into the very small town of Reefside, it was mostly a mining town.

I checked into the motel for a week, hopefully that would give me time to find the gem, If what the White Morphing Master had told me was true, it would bond with me because they willed it too. The Receptionist asked what I was in town for, I said just passing through and figured it looked like a nice place to do some hiking and exploration. I went and put my things in the room and then went out to the forest surrounding the town, made sure that nobody was near me using my earth echolocation I quick changed into my ninja outfit, with Sword on Back, and Quantum Morpher Visible I start streaking through the forest every two hundred Using my echolocation to search for any Unusual Gems, I had been streaking around the forest for 3 days on and off, it was a big forest before my echolocation pinged with two things in a rock 150 feet south, I walked my way there as silently as I could, Pulsed again to make sure I was in front of the right stone, I was.

I got into a fighting stanch and closed my eyes, Breathing in and out, simply focusing on my Breathing and my Earth Ninja Energy for about 10 minutes before suddenly opening my eyes and lashing out in quick strikes against the stone.

"Hiya! Hiyaa!" The strikes quickly shaving the stone of of pieces. "and Kapow!" the final strike revealing The white Dino Gem and the Silver Band of the Morphing Bracer, reaching out with my Left hand to Grab the Dino Gem and it glows, bonding with me, I feel a rush of energy similar to when I got the Quantum Morpher, I then grabbed the Silver band and put the gem into it and put it on my right wrist, it then changed into the Morpher. I smiled as the Draco Morpher started beeping, I brought it up to my face and pushed the button.

"Hello? Who is this?" I asked, wondering who in 1954 could possibly be calling me on this Morpher.

"Ah, David, I see that you have found all three Ranger Powers that were available for you to get." The voice of the Red Master came from the Morpher. "Observe the stone." I looked to the stone that I had broken and watched as a Green Dino Gem appeared and the stone reformed around it. "The Timeline is Preserved, we must warn you now, do not try to Morph with two Morphers at the same time before you can get them properly merged so it doesn't kill you."

"Yes Master." I tell him. "I will be ready for 1969, I assume that my first real mission will be assisting the Rangers of that time in Defeating Psycho Green?"

"Yes Ranger, Make your way to Zordon of Eltar and offer your assistance, other than that particular mission, your sole responsibility is to fight the forces of Evil and assist where you can." The morpher then cut off. I was alone in the world currently but I had Immense Wealth in Multiple Banks, I would be investing in massive companies to gain even more wealth, all I had to do was train and help people. I quickly made my way back to my Bike and quick changed back into civilian clothes, I went to the only restaurant in town to grab dinner no longer in a hurry.
