The Medi-Spray is here:
Harry found himself being shaken vigorously into consciousness by Hermione. He could also see Remus, along with a rather amused Clementine who seemed to be watching the magical generator they had built with a large amount of curiosity. Clementine came over and spoke with excitement colouring voice,
"My my young man, you had a late night. Hermione has been up for about half-hour. I understand that you have a change of clothes on you?" Harry who was still groggy, gently nodded in a rather uncoordinated and disoriented manner.
"Excellent. Follow your elf as she knows her way around. You can freshen up, and a breakfast tray will be brought for both of you."
Harry walked a small distance to the Delacour manor with Hermione as they carried their change of clothes and other personal items that were part of their morning routine. He decided that he would wear casual clothes instead of his robes. Sometime later they would be visiting the I.C.W Pioneering Guild and then, they would go 'all out' on the elaborate robes. The pair walked back to the studio after they were finished changing. Both of them discussed among themselves the general state of affairs, concerning the next set of devices that could integrate into the armour project. After all, the custom aerogel pieces were going to be delivered not too long from now.
"Had you told me that I would develop a fairly reliable rifle and pistol at the beginning of this year, ago I would not have believed you. We won't need any grenades, but it would be nice to have that much later."
"We need to prioritise flight, protection, stealth and then offensive weapons. Then we work on testing the plasma against the Dementors. We need confirmation on that. If we confirm that, then it is possible that with the right intelligence things will go smoothly."
"The Gringotts rush job was nice money but it pushed back my itinerary. Still have the drone pieces to assemble. Do you want to help me with a presentation on how airplanes fly? I heard Weasley senior wants to know."
"You know what Harry? That might be fun. Maybe we could make some little demonstration devices?"
Harry and Hermione arrived to find Clementine already hard at work painting in the switches and using her wand to spell them. Fleur and Gabrielle were busy feeding Grace cheese and assorted fruits. Harry and Hermione both removed the cloche from their trays and ate the rather large breakfast that had been prepared for them. They guessed that Mipsy had been involved in ensuring the portions were up to the acceptable sizes. The sisters looked on rather agape, as they wondered where all the food had gone when the pair of them were finished.
Clementine asked, "Well now that you are finished, tell me what caused you to sleep well into the morning. How much sleep did you get?"
"About six and a half hours of sleep. That is a lot by our standards. Harry? Time for the moment of truth?"
"Yes indeed. I think we have a rough prototype of a device that should suppress the allure just enough. The question is if it works. And naturally, this device is not portable, but it can be miniaturised for sure. Can you sense their auras?"
"I can. Fleur, Gabrielle?" Clementine asked.
Clementine continued to issue some instructions in French. Fleur and Gabrielle then stood next to Harry as he slipped on the plastic bracelets that possessed a large thick copper coil on Fleur's , arms and ankles.
Harry's eyes flared luminescent green as he observed her aura. He started the electric motor and observed as the magic was pumped into the power cell. After some tweaking and readjusting the distance between the aluminium pieces in his contraption, Harry had Fleur's aura constrained to the skin. It appeared to flow all over her body like water that was slowly draining down a sink. Clementine reached out with her hands as she began to feel for the aura. She was intimately familiar with how the auras of her grandchildren felt - after all, it was her magical lineage that was present in her children. Gabrielle who could feel her sister's aura watched on as the presence she had gotten accustomed to, just disappeared. And while she missed the intimacy of it, she began to jump for joy as she connected the dots. Gabrielle suddenly found herself next to her sister with her arms stretched out as she waited for her turn to try on the bracelet.
When Harry was finished testing the device, he soon found himself and Hermione quickly assaulted by Gabrielle and Fleur as they jabbered on quickly in French. They could not understand a word of what was being said. But the tone was obvious enough – Thank you. Clementine who had witnessed the entire spectacle looked on at Remus and Jean who were just mildly impressed. Upon observing this, she clarified the lack of excitement.
"Both of you are aware that in one night, these two solved a problem that has plagued the Wizarding World for centuries? The discrimination of part-Veela people has been an ongoing issue because of the allure. And these two children solved it in a couple of hours? This is an Order of Merlin First Class Award from the French Ministry of Magic! And that excludes the piece of elf-lore that Harry has already discovered, which is easily another!"
"We have….far more dangerous things. These are old innovations which are being repurposed." Harry replied.
"I believe I understand your uncle's fear now, Hadrian and Hermione. This is old? So what is new exactly? Both of you seem responsible enough at least….."
"They are capable enough and they can manage. Both Hermione and Harry know enough combat magic to make junior Aurors sweat. As to why we aren't pushing for publicity, we have political issues to deal with at home. I think Harry was supposed to tell you last night, but he forgot."
Clementine nodded as a message came to Hermione's phone.
Clin-clink!
Hermione opened the message from her father and read the contents.
"You are grounded. But nice kick. Ms Singh is currently getting me up to speed on the characters involved. So those individuals are the Death Eaters. Good to know. By the way, pray for Harry. His mother is not pleased."
Clin-clink!
Harry then took up the phone knowing exactly what had happened from the time Hermione's face had taken on a frown. The news had come through.
Beep. Whistle.
Harry already understood that both Remus and Jean had received messages at the same time. He continued to read the message from his mother:
"Hi sweetie. You are in trouble. You are grounded for a month. We will talk when you get back."
Lorna's message arrived next:
"Nice shot. The Daily prophet used three pages to showcase multiple viewpoints. See the headline yourself. Priya doesn't know that I hatched this plan. Say nothing! She is still too nice to understand how to plot. She will have to learn the hard way, one of these days."
Harry was then rewarded with a picture of the Daily Prophet with a large set of headlines and various pictures set in many different directions.
"MALFOY, PARKSON AND GOYLE HUMILIATED BY CHILDREN WITH NO WANDS"
"NEW DARK LORD AND LADY SPOTTED IN MAGICAL ENGLAND"
"JUSTICE IS HERE –THE STORMBRINGERS SWEAR REVENGE!"
"DRACO MALFOY ASSAULTED BY A RUFFIAN AND A HAG"
"MINISTRY MANHUNT ON FOR TEENAGE CRIMINALS CARRYING MAGICAL GUNS!"
"FANTASTIC FASHION ON DISPLAY!"
Harry then received some video snippets from various parts of the newspaper via Lorna's chat. He observed that whoever had put all the memories together had done a fantastic job of stitching together various viewpoints together. The newspapers displayed Harry and Hermione cloaking and then proceeding to appear out of nowhere, with Harry shooting all three adults with dead precision. The paper then displayed Hermione's laser sight lining up the shot as she stunned the Auror at the full 40 metre range, dead centre to the chest. Harry appreciated that the person had demonstrated the entire travel length of the spell. To add insult to injury was Harry choke holding Draco, before the sword was placed at his neck. The entire execution of the hilt being detached and the sword flaring into existence was highlighted, and it looked fearsome. Finally, a magnified view of Hermione's foot connecting with Draco's crotch was shown very clearly for comedic effect. Daro then seemd to topple like a tree, and it almost looked cartoonish.
Luis walked in with a copy of the Daily Prophet and handed it to Clementine, as he roared with laughter knowing exactly which two wizards had upset England. Even the French were talking about it and many had concluded that getting a copy of the English Daily Prophet was worth it. Then he said two words that made Clementine howl with laughter.
"Lucius Malfoy!"
Clementine connected the dots and hugged Harry and Hermione, if only because she could not contain her laughter. Harry was soon informed that the Malfoy family were considered of ill-repute because many centuries ago after unlawfully murdering the Head of House of another family, they fled to England. The French who had loved Lord Dubois at the time had considered the Malfoys to be permanently dishonoured. Lord Malfoy had tried many times to make his way back into French Royalty in recent times, but nobody was particularly interested in what they had to offer - there were also rumours that he had supported a local terrorist organisation. Upon this suspicion being expressed, Harry decided it was a good time to offer at least a compressed version of the conversation that was supposed to happen the night before.
"Well Clementine and Luis, I would like to tell you a little more about the terrorist organisation. I do not know if Fleur and Gabrielle should stay."
Luis nodded as both the children left, with both of them giving friendly waves as they shut the door behind them. Harry continued his altered story, which was somewhat true:
"So essentially, there has been hostility to those born of non-magical heritage in England. And then Lord Voldemort comes forward. A self-styled dark lord who more or less promised to fix the issues by eliminating the unclean. Standard Nazi rhetoric, although I don't know how much you know about mundane World War II. To do his bidding, he demanded his closest followers brand themselves. They call themselves Death Eaters. I have reason to believe the brand is a willing magical oath. Then they proceeded with killing, rape and whatever they fancied. My godbrother's parents were tortured into insanity. My parents were killed by his movement."
"Ah, the English Wizarding War. We the French, know about the issues somewhat." Luis responded.
"I can confirm that Lord Malfoy and his two other associates carry the mark. I can see the magic, even if it is under their clothes. And the magic looks sickly green and decaying."
"He died, this Lord Voldemort? I have no idea why his name is French?" Luis commented.
"The story goes that he showed up at a young boy's house with the intent to murder and the killing spell backfired. Nobody knows where the boy went or where he lives. So, he is safe, I think. Now, for some reason, I ran into an artefact where Lord Voldemort left a piece of his intelligence. The thing almost killed me. I have no idea how he did it, but he is alive in some sort of demented form."
"You think he will come back?" questioned Luis?
"He certainly will and I have no idea what his plans are – we are talking about some type of Necromancy. What I do know is that should he reappear, I will not be vulnerable. He and his followers also killed my parents and I am an orphan. This little group here is all I have. Even Remus here is a friend of my Father. He isn't biologically related, but I think he loves me enough for it to certainly pass as such."
Remus smiled. Harry continued as Clementine continued to paint.
"I cannot make any comments about anybody else. I want their heads, plain and simple. Eventually, the second volley will be to kill. I am not giving them any mercy. They should have considered consequences before they committed their acts of savagery."
Clementine and Luis's eyes softened. It all made sense – the drive, the ambition, the ridiculous work ethic, all of it. The young man was serious. So his research was preparation for an eventual war. That was why he was accompanied by his friends for his visit – he had no family of his own. It also did not go unnoticed how his eyes glowed. And ancient magic could be felt in the environment. Both of them reasoned that his house magic demanded justice. Harry's magic then slowly receded. Clementine looked upon the spectacle and nodded. She then spoke:
"In our history, we had a time where a bloodbath was required to make things better for our citizens. The French Revolution spanned both the non-magical and magical worlds. This is perhaps why we have no distinction between these groups. If that is what must happen, so be it. If my assistance contributes to this effort, as a Frenchwoman I am certainly willing to help you. Let Lady Magic guide and protect those in your little corner."
Clementine the received a Patronus that delivered a message in French. When Clementine heard the message, she turned and addressed Hermione directly.
"Hermione dear, please prepare your equipment. The I.C.W Pioneering guild will be ready to receive us in a half-hour. I suppose you will want your full robes and your mask?"
"Yes, I think so. Harry time to dress to impress?"
Harry nodded as he left the small pieces of the project he was modifying on his desk as he followed Hermione. Clementine stepped out as she probably wished to change also. Remus and Jean had been sent a fresh change of clothes the morning via Mipsy when she realised that Jean and Remus had not packed clothes, and they went elsewhere to prepare themselves.
Harry decided that green and black was his colour for the afternoon and Hermione had selected blue and white. Both children returned to the studio and attached their helmets, which Harry had left to charge from a lithium-ion power pack. He also ensured that his guns were on display, just in case they were accosted. Hermione followed suit but Remus opted to keep his weapon hidden. Clementine soon arrived in an all-black robe, before walking the entire group to the outhouse. Remus carried Hermione's hardshell case as he followed Clementine. Jean brought up the rear of the group.
"Not to worry, the gentleman will respect your privacy. He is an old friend. All of his colleagues can be vouched for and they will give oaths if required. This is a private meeting, so you will not be hassled over anything." Clementine explained.
The visitors were surprised to find Apolline and Fleur waiting at the floo. Fleur was dressed in a silk red robe that brought out her hair and her complexion. Fleur understanding that some sort of surprise was around the corner observed Harry and Hermione before giggling. Apolline kissed her daughter goodbye as the whole group stood still and prepared to use the floo. Clementine then shouted something incomprehensive in French and the group found herself in a lavishly decorated waiting room. The floo area cleaned off the ash and dust and then the entire group stepped out to hear a rather loud voice shout:
"Clementine! Ah!"
The greeting was followed by a couple of rapid words in Spanish followed by French. Hermione observed that the man seemed to be good friends with her, as the Frenchwoman greeted him the usual way. His gaze slowly examined the other people in the room. He also greeted Fleur quite jovially as she seemed to be his favourite. When he attempted to greet Hermione, he noticed the mask. His face immediately took on an expression of surprise. He then began to laugh as he jabbered something in French to Clementine, before he introduced himself.
"Gris Albanoz, Head Potions Overseer here at the I.C.W Pioneering guild. I have always trusted Clementine to be rebellious and interesting. And today she has delivered. It is a great pleasure to meet both of you. I enjoyed the spectacular headlines in the English newspaper! And who might both of you be?"
Clementine mentioned something to him and the nodded. He then took out his wand and intoned in English.
"I give a magical oath to keep the business and identities of our guests secret." At this point, Hermione, who had heard the oath began to speak.
"Rune-Priestess Lady Granger at your service. I am accompanied by my mother, Ms Granger. But since you are under oath…"
Hermione took off the helmet and said, "Just Hermione, thank you" as she smiled brilliantly and offered a handshake. Harry followed suit.
"Palatine Artificer Lord Peverell at your service. I am accompanied by my Uncle Mr Lupin. But call me Hadrian." Harry replied, after removing his helmet.
"I must say I love your robes and your masks. I think I will have many questions. Had Clementine told me I would be meeting two of the most internationally famous people of the moment, I would have offered her a bottle of wine."
"I still want the wine in any case!" Clementine commented, deadpan serious.
"That can be arranged. Follow me to our private lab, please. All of you." The man replied.
The party arrived in a small room where all of them were checked by a couple of wizards, as they muttered a set of incomprehensible spells. When they were satisfied, they fell into a single file and brought up the rear of the arrangement. Gris then explained the reason for the procedure:
"The check was for contaminants and diseases. We like our labs to be clean. As we all checked out, we will have no problem" Gris spoke as he motioned particularly to Hermione. The group entered the lab and the two other wizards who had done the contamination check, offered oaths of secrecy. Remus handed over the hardshell case to Hermione and followed Jean and Fleur to sit at a bench, not too far off at the side of the room. Both men then introduced themselves.
"Master Potioneer Antônio Paulo at your service" the wizard answered, in a proud Latin American accent. He seemed to be very excited. Hermione reasoned that to some extent they had been informed as to the manner of business for the afternoon.
"Master Potioneer Otto Adelheid my dears!" replied the other man in a jolly tone, as he shook Hermione's and Harry's hands animatedly. This man gave off the vibe that you would associate with an eccentric but animated German professor.
"Rune-Priestess Lady Granger I suppose, but please call me Hermione. This one here is Palatine Artificer Lord Peverell, but call him Hadrian."
It was at this point that eyebrows were suddenly raised as the two men realised that appearances were rather deceiving. Otto upon recognising the robes and the general design yelled out aloud in a thick and sharp german accent, where the 't' and the 'th' sounds, were almost completely replaced like a 'zees':
"Yes! It is them! The wizards with the guns! Look they are strapped to their legs!" Harry nodded to Hermione as he decided he would stay silent. Hermione took it as a cue for her to explain the situation.
"Correct, it was us indeed. However, the weapons are his work. And I can assure you that those men who we shot at might parade as English Lords but they probably are rapists and murders. We don't tolerate vermin at all."
"Former Death Eaters?" Gris questioned.
"Correct. You are well informed. They carry the brand. How are you aware of this, if I may ask?" Harry inquired.
"I had a cousin who attended Hogwarts some years back. He was on the run for his life. He eventually moved back to my home in Brazil to lay low. You should have shot them. I know exactly what they are. My cousin was a muggleborn Slytherin. I even know those names that were mentioned in the paper."
"Shoot them? I certainly agree. In due time. For now, things are quiet. But we believe another terrorist group is slowly beginning to reform. Our weapons are to protect us, as Wizarding England is on its way to instability again." Harry commented. Otto, who was listening intently nodded in affirmation. It seemed he was somewhat informed about the events in England. Perhaps Gris had informed them in passing.
"What have you brought for us? Tell us what it is, how you came to brew it and the results of testing it." Gris instructed.
"Today I am here to demonstrate an enhanced healing potion. I am what the English call a muggleborn – or as I like to say a person born to mundane parents. I did not know anything about magic about twenty months ago until I met this bighead"
Harry smiled. Harry liked when Hermione called him bighead.
"I tell you this so you can understand how I approached the brewing. Essentially, both of us received trunks from people who were Hogwarts Alumni, and we began our magical studies rather early. We also ended up claiming long lost inheritances, hence our titles."
"How did you qualify for those titles? Did a guild vouch for you?" Otto asked.
"No. Gringotts magic qualified me. I use only the titles the Goblins provided us with."
Otto's eyes lit up as he exclaimed "Heiliger Strohsack! Ich glaub mich knutscht ein Elch!" He scratched his beard and continued, "Magic does not lie. If Magic itself has decided you are worthy, there is no contest to that. The Goblins do not make mistakes."
Antônio interjected, "I take it your….." and continued to trail off, wondering about the relationship.
"Brother" Hermione replied.
"Your brother created the weapon? Everybody is talking about it?" Antionio asked.
"Yes, he did – and that is where things get interesting. Both of us have leveraged technology and scientific ideas in the creation of our items. We are both mundane and magically educated in our preferred fields. Perhaps not to full mastery or a bachelor's qualification, but we decided not to wait with the experiments. I have a control structure for runes that eliminated what we call the patchwork quilt problem. Reliable repeatable logic and behaviour." Otto upon hearing this comment was very excited.
"When you are ready, I hope some of your work will be used at our lab. I will take any oath you desire! I think the rest of us would like to jump on something new and exciting!" The rest of the men nodded. Hermione continued:
"So, what I wondered was why the wound cleaning potion smoked. I began to test the chemistry equivalent of astringency – the acidity or alkalinity. Or as we say, the pH. I found that the potion was too acidic. The standard potion would kill a non-magical dead if used."
"Ah yes, we are aware of it. We have never been able to use it on large wounds even on wizards. The potion can kill the patient. What did you do?" replied Antônio.
"Sodium Hydroxide. A mundane compound. Made the potion more or less neutral."
"What? Are you telling me that adding a single substance fixed that problem? Are you aware of the implications? How did you test it?" Antonio asked.
"On myself. But also tested it on Mr Lupin over there. And it healed werewolf size wounds - the gashes, burns, cuts, even fixed the yellow pus infections." Otto who was almost on the edge of fainting wasted no time and yelled at the top of his voice, "Mr Lupin, over here please!"
When Remus came over, Otto quickly uttered some diagnostic spells. After he was finished, he yelled "He is clean, He is clean from the scourge! I cannot believe this?"
Gris looked on at Hermione and Harry who seemed utterly confused. He then quickly summoned a partition and asked for Remus just to remove the top robe. Remus was initially confused but went along, figuring that they wanted to examine the results of the spray. Hermione opened the case and distributed bottles of the spray. Otto began gently poking his chest and back and seemed to be examining the skin.
"This - this – is fantastic! Gris, Antonio see for yourself! Not one bit of it, no infection, nothing at all. Perfect skin. Even the scars are mostly gone!" Gris after examining the skin grasped a strange looking scalpel and made a fairly long gash along his forearm. Hermione found herself immediately uncomfortable but decided that it was probably a litmus test of her claims. Gris then sprayed the potion and then observed the result as the skin knitted up quickly. "No burning! and…" Gris muttered a couple of indistinct spells for the next fifteen minutes as he tested the results.
Otto in the meanwhile explained that the scourge was an infection that remained untreatable since lycanthropy had been discovered. While it was not transmissible, it resulted in inhuman amounts of pain. Remus had been in screaming pain and had not said anything, probably out of shame. It was known to delay healing in a wizard's body and gradually beat down the body's defences, resulting in death if the wizard was not physically healthy. Otto continued to explain how just even this singular contribution could easily be an Order of Merlin from the I.C.W and he was convinced that Hermione was not leaving without a Guild Fellowship. Gris shared his observations.
"Clean, no scar mark, it numbs the pain and no infections. How did you brew this – this is much beyond the original function of the potion? I can't conceptualise how so many contradicting ingredients work together! I just checked it against all known tests. Not a single side effect!"
Hermione then looked on at the three men who sat down on the stools almost like puppies waiting for a pet from their owner. She explained:
"So, this is where things get strange. I do not use standard pioneering equipment. I use standard non-magical lab equipment. Flasks, Bunsen burners, Pipettes, and Test Tubes. The heat distribution on the glass is better. The cauldron always has a hotspot at the bottom. I did not like that. I used a non-magical device called a FLIR camera to check the heat distribution. At this point, you are probably saying, what about the magic that is supposed to seep into the solution? Well, Hadrian over there has invented a device that can store large amounts of magical energy. I am talking about something that makes most power-rune arrangements look like a terrible joke. I used a rather early prototype and I got probably fifty times the energy in. Not using cauldron is not of any concern, really."
Harry on hearing the explanation, took his gun off his leg and removed the capacitor magazine out and handed it to the men. The three men examined the quantity of magic stored in the device. Otto asked, "This is utterly ridiculous. I take it that you build items that consume a lot of magical power?" He then passed the item to Antônio who was utterly astonished.
Harry laughed and explained, "This is tiny. I have far bigger devices. This one is also much more refined." He then received the magazine and slid it back into his gun and locked it into position on his leg. Hermione resumed her explanation:
"The other thing I learned was that non-magical copper is of a much higher quality than magical copper. They are using some old type of smelting process, I believe. Harry, want to run the cauldron folks out of business? Me and you? We could make a killing?"
Harry's head took on a pondering look as the other men smiled.
"So yes – I am going to use the word ordinary for non-magical. Ordinary folks have devices for stirring substances. What I did was connect a piece of the copper plate to the power source after I charged it full of my energy and used that as the stirrer. So, we have much better magical and heat distribution, and a lot of consistent high velocity stirring."
"That explains why the consistency is like oil. Our hands are rather practised and even could not do such a job. I think you will have to introduce us to your equipment!"
"We might be able to arrange equipment. That is bighead's area of expertise." The men guffawed in absolute surprise. Gris asked, "What about the ingredients and the brewing method?"
"Also, a deviation from the accepted method. Brewing uses heat control to selectively cook-off undesirable aspects like skin and contaminants. I reasoned instead of playing with the temperature, I just use an ordinary blender and processed all the reagents to a fine paste. Most of the important parts are soluble in water, so I just wash the reagents and collect the water. A coffee filter is used to ensure only the important reagents pass through. The rest I consider as waste and I use it for plant fertiliser. I have some common reagents here in the blended form and then the main reagent filtered off." The three men then anxiously received the samples and began to test the properties of each of the ingredients. They soon realised that these samples eliminated a lot of the work involved with boiling off hard skins and other unwanted material to get to the core of the ingredient.
"I must say – this is a rather exciting afternoon for us. You just turned the entire pioneering word upside down. While we will not share any of your secrets, we would appreciate if you could take us through your methods and equipment. These methods are brand new and we know little about the non-magical world. Yet, you have confirmed many of my suspicions. I always suspected something was wrong with the heat distribution. Tell us about your method for combining the ingredients for this specific potion?" Gris kindly enquired.
"Standard potion recipe with the boiling steps removed as we do not need to crack into the skins of the materials. Equal volumes. Then mixed thoroughly with sodium hydroxide. I put enough until the pH goes neutral. Then I add vervain infusion and then finish off with the standard numbing potion that has become obsolete. Once again, no skins so no reason to have ingredient incompatibility. Boiling roll in terms of the flame. Constant stirring and magic until it cools. The real piece of genius is the inclusion of two particular compounds. One of them increases the protein solubility and is a complex non-magical chemical. The other one is perfume. Helps give it a small scent, without the perfume you can't tell if it is applied or not "
"Do you think it could be field-tested? We have a critical case," explained Antônio.
Hermione who was confused was then informed by Otto in a whisper "We brew experimental potions for a special highly intensive care unit. It is in another part of this building"
Otto then continued, "Why not? Gris?"
"It doesn't seem to have any issues so far and almost fifty people died in the creation of Wolfsbane potion. It is an acceptable risk for terminal cases. Both of you, we are heading to the hospital." Gris decided.
"How much will you need I didn't walk with much?" questioned Hermione.
"Just enough to see the effects,"
"Moine did you brew anymore? Do you have at home?" asked Harry.
"Six boxes after I saw how it worked on Remus. It is in the living room? Thinking about Grace?"
"Yes. If we can help save lives, we must. Besides they won't talk. Grace!"
The three men were shocked to see a blue phoenix arrive by lightning. Most mastery level wizards were aware that Albus Dumbledore was the only man who possessed a phoenix as a famous and respected alchemist. It was therefore truly a sign from Lady magic that the boy possessed one at such a young age.
"Gracie, my living room. The green juice in the spray bottles. It will save lives. As long as you don't kill yourself, push through and get it to us. We could probably save someone. And naturally, you can have an entire hamburger patty with cheese and pickles on top if you are successful when we get back to the studio!"
Grace gave both of them a look that more or less meant, "You had me hamburger patty, buddy!"
zzzzzZZZZZZZZAAAAAAPPPPPPP.
Otto who was curious asked "Is that a phoenix? They come in the lightning type?"
"They probably come in every element. I think most people know Fawkes, Albus Dumbledore's phoenix. I think the fire phoenix is the most ubiquitous. Apparition through wards is one of their special, secret talents. She should be here about…."
zzzzzZZZZZZZZAAAAAAPPPPPPP.
Grace reappeared and was panting somewhat, but stacked under here were six large boxes of the Medi-spray. Each box could easily hold about two weeks of groceries.
"Thanks, Grace. You are the best. Come here for a hug. Someone might survive today because of you if things play out nicely. You are getting whatever you want as a treat. Stay with Fleur, and go take a nap if you are tired. Mione, masks on. Nobody sees our faces."
Harry and Hermione then slipped on their masks and activated their vocoders. Grace nodded and then flew over to Fleur who was only too happy to comfort her avian friend. Gris immediately called for Jean and Clementine, before he levitated the boxes and exited the room. He stopped by a small café and instructed the workers to provide Jean with whatever she wanted at no charge. Jean who already knew what Grace and Remus liked, knew exactly what to get. She made her way back to the room as the others proceeded down the corridor.
