Delayed Improvements:

Over the next fifteen weeks, the time flew. The Medi-Spray production line was functional now – the workers kept the machine tanks fed and a constant predisposed amount of liquid could be stored in any container by entering a value. The workers only had to bottle the Medi-Spray and even then, Harry was working on a conveyor to do that task.

Harry was officially living at Peverell Mansion. The null-box had been moved and the Goblins had been consulted to reapply every type of protective charm that he could think about, including the newer ones they had developed recently at both the Dursleys and Peverell Manor. Harry had also scored a rather large, dilapidated kitchen in the heart of London and was busy refurbishing it so his Grandmother might start her culinary operation. Harry observed that the pedestrian traffic was high, and the place was quite accessible – He suspected that the sales would go quite well. It was something she had spoken about and even Ved was excited by the prospect.

He had also upgraded the thruster pack with the Aerogel material, and a fair amount of testing had been carried out. In combination with the micro thrusters on his legs, thighs, and the braking thrusters that he had retrofitted to other pockets, Harry truly had a lot of agility. He could reorient in any possible way by directing his back and by toggling control pads on his fingertips.

One of the more controversial things that had happened behind closed doors, was a small but secret test.

Harry had found a centipede a morning at Peverell Manor and had tested the Avada Kedavra on the creature. This was to establish if Titanium had any capability to affect casted magical spells. The Titanium plate had blocked the spell and the material had vaporised, leaving behind a crater. He had placed the centipede into a Titanium box and cast the spell again. To his surprise, the centipede was still alive and Harry had concluded that the material did not conduct magical energy. He also tried many different spells and he had gotten the same result. Harry now had viable protection from the killing curse at least. But the Titanium would affect the ability of his shield emitters and his thrusters to function, as it drained magic. What to do?

Harry solved the problem by using a copper plate as a magical emission plate. This when sandwiched behind the titanium, cancelled out the magical void on that particular side of the plate. By pumping energy into the plate with a magical generator, he could now saturate the titanium plate where the magical void would not interfere with his other accessories. As time went by, Harry ordered identical but appropriately sized pieces for Remus. For the navigation problem, the pair had developed an ingenious system where servos merely applied pressure with a rubber pad on his skin. This simple tactile contraction when placed on the armour parts for different limbs did away with the need for advanced optical augmented displays. Harry also settled for a large LCD panel on his left wrist as that would be used as a display.

Madam Malkin was surprised by the request for the new item of clothing – Harry explained that he was pushing a prototype broom to the limits, and it went high enough for him to feel dreadfully cold. Madam Malkin created a form-fitting jumpsuit based on pictures that she had been provided. The final product fit him perfectly and she applied her best charms to the material, but not after Harry had provided an entire paper thin capacitor plate that was sewn into the fabric with copper thread. Madam Malkin immediately realised that the device could store a stupidly large amount of energy and this confirmed her hunch about the boy.

So he was carrying out his mother's research. Good for him!

Hermione wrote to Luna regularly after buying herself an owl called Snow. Snow often carried full-colour prints of Science Fiction Armor, Guns, Ships and Vistas to Luna who adored them. Also, as a surprise birthday gift, Hermione had Grace follow Snow to locate the location of Luna's House. Hermione decided to show up two days early in order not to run into anybody else, or upset their plans.

Luna was the happiest girl alive when Hermione showed up in plain clothes and unglamoured with a couple of hardshell cases full of every art supply that Luna could imagine. Clementine had even recommended some of the items. Hermione also brought her a lot of Muggle snacks, and Luna and Xenophillius enjoyed Nerds, Sourpatch and Coca-Cola that evening.

Hermione spent the evening and explained that she was working on some business projects. She also knew a foreign portrait artist who was looking for an apprentice, and she had been recommended. Xenophillius was quite surprised, and almost teared up at the kindness of the gesture. Xenophillius suspected that this girl was the Rune-Priestess, but he did not ask. He could remember the robe design and the young woman seemed to be too accomplished, comfortable and too well off to be merely a thirteen year old. Her magic was powerful for her age.

From the rumours he had heard in his journalism circles, the Medi-Spray had become a beauty potion for minor skin blemishes, gashes, wounds, burns and minor curses. It had become one of the most in-demand potions on the potion market, as it was a medical and a beauty product. He suspected that the gifts she had brought for Luna had not scratched her coin purse. However, Xeno was not concerned with the money at all, but rather he was happy that someone wanted to hear all about the unique lifeforms that his Luna could see. He also found the accounts of her friend who could see Magic, confirmation that Luna was special.

Xeno's suspicions were confirmed when he caught a glance at the fearsome weapon that was attached to her leg. This certainly was her. There also seemed to be an implement strapped to her left arm. Zeno was not suspicious – anybody who hated Malfoy and had vowed to put Death Eaters down was a good person in his book. If this witch was Luna's friend no harm could come to his little girl. He had never subscribed to the pandering that the Daily Prophet usually participated in, so he was sure at some point they would come for him.

He was not the least bit surprised when the Hermione Granger shook his hand. Then, she gave Luna such a warm hug that the magic that leaked into the area almost seemed like a lighthouse. This Witch adored his Luna like a little sister. He would keep all her secrets – Luna only seemed to play with Ginny who lived not too far from her and it was good for her to have another friend. After a fun-filled evening, Hermione bade the Lovegoods goodbye, and she merely apparated out of the living room completely silent and with minimal disturbance.

Like a predator.

Xeno was very excited for the day when he would be given a tour of the Muggle world. For now, Luna's assignment was to draw some type of long pointed thing that shot spells. Xeno suspected that Luna's design was the template for a new even more powerful weapon. Luna, after experimenting with the various items ate any number of Snickers and Mars bars and got started the same night.

Hermione had gotten her first set of royalties from the potions. A grand total of five hundred thousand bezants was merely worth twenty per cent of the profits for two months at the end of February. This translated to about seven hundred thousand galleons or approximately three and a half million pounds. The demand was so high that Harry and Hermione, at the request of the French Ministry had to expand the production line by eight times. Many small European countries were buying the fluid by the metric tonne. In the fiasco that occurred, the English Ministry of Magic offered an Order of Merlin award in an attempt to meet the elusive "Rune-Priestess" but Hermione had declined all offers that had been passed to her via the French. The widespread use of Medi-Spray had changed injury treatment so radically that everyone now kept personal applicators on themselves.

Several people used it for cuts, gashes and burns but it also became popular as a de-scarring potion. People would often spray the substance to get rid of acne blemishes and skin marks. Some used the potion to repair skin tags that had been removed. Hermione had joked and asked Harry if he might be interested in a loan – at this rate, she would be able to meet the requirement for a minted Ancient and Noble house seat in one year, with plenty extra to spare. The wild success of the potion was of its multipurpose value – it was a beauty potion, a first-aid potion, an excellent anaesthetic, and a burn treatment.

As the weeks progressed the best innovation that became available for their experimentation was Hermione's new runic schemes. As she explored more deeply, she realised that from Morgana's line of apprenticeship, there had been only three before her. Essentially, a total of four witches with her being the fifth.

One of the new rune schemas, specialised in advanced Transfiguration. Different transfigurations could be stored and recalled on demand. Harry had lost his mind when he had heard this, and retrofits to his emitter cores eventually occurred. While the discovery had occurred for some time, Hermione had to create even more runes that acted as variables, constants and data storage. Even standard programming arrays and additional control statements had been implemented. Now the project was properly polished and the pair now had selectable spells. This also confirmed that as a testbed, the Medi-Bracelet was certainly a direct possibility and it would be highly improved.

Some of the other runic arrays reduced the magical energy down to arithmantic equations. Applying a new rune changed the state of magical energy. Hermione began to investigate how magical signatures could be changed, and Grace's lightning-apparition magic was now a twenty page arithmantic equation. Eventually, with the correct solution, they could use Morgana's runes to build custom magic. The issue was that mathematics required differential and trigonometric equations. As Hermione attempted the condense all the information. There was no guarantee that these equations could work, but she hoped that moving the problem to another workspace would help.

Another set of runes dealt with fluid manipulation. These runes when etched into bone or stone provided allowed a wizard to shape water into any shape and form, in a manner that was not possible with current spells. Suddenly, Hermione felt much more open to the idea with an embedded wand in her hand. Even tattoos seemed to be reasonable.

The final set of runes was not flashy but was probably the most important. These were a "rune reflection" system where an individual could take complex runic arrays and substitute custom non-sensical shapes to hide the runes. All the system required was a reference etching that mapped the full runes to the substituted symbol. This was ideally placed at the user's home and allowed a person to quickly deploy entire runic arrays on any random object. Hermione had cried when she heard the news – she could develop any number of rune schemas that could be deployed via a humble sticker. Immediately, these innovations began to roll out into Harry's armour. With a lot of work, Hermione and Harry were able to lean down a lot of the complexity by using runes as data storage devices and references to more complex logic were etched on a charged copper plate at Peverell manor.

After the document camera had arrived, Hermione and Harry often took turns flipping pages via some custom-built devices, and Invictus saved all the pages on the computer. After about two weeks of constant work, they were done with all the research notes out of the Peverell, Dagworth-Granger and Potter trunks. This was when Harry found himself to a certain extent rather unpleased but somewhat proud of himself.

It seemed that the reason why portrait Invictus had taken to mundane science so easily was that he had discovered the same ideas partially. He had figured out a lot about the periodic table and had established many rules that could be mapped to commonplace scientific principles of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The modern world had caught up to his cutting edge research and their muggle education had filled in the blanks. Of course, there were some more esoteric notes on runes and arithmancy, but Hermione had already begun to supersede many of those proposed ideas with functioning reliable innovations.

As for Glaucon, his notes had indicated that he had travelled to Norway to locate a special Elder tree that supposedly came from the Yggdrasil itself, and it was hinted that he paid a truly high cost for the wood. But upon closely examining the notes, Harry came to realise that the true trick of the Elder wand was that it was magically superconductive and approaching ninety-five per cent efficient. The magical superconductivity of the Deathstick had come by as a pure accident – he had cast a particular spell almost one hundred thousand times, and it was noted that the spell was not consistent. Harry wondered if he could replicate the effect eventually, with some other method. It seemed that the 'spell chains' in the core had to be tuned to 'interface with the magical aether', whatever that meant.

Also, the knots in the wand had been designed to amplify the resonance of any spell in a cascading manner. Each bulb specialised in a different type of resonance that corresponded with a certain discipline in magic. To a certain extent, Harry's engineering approaches along with the commonplace materials were already beginning to approach the same type of quality because he was not responsible for refining gold and copper. He also possessed a lot of other conveniences that were provided by modern society. He realised that many of the new items, would write a new chapter in the Peverell Lore. To a certain extent, his future was his own to build and Harry felt that surpassing modern society was the true challenge.

The Peverell magic sensed the commitment and agreed with the sentiment as he continued to train his body.

Harry and Remus had enrolled in Krav Maga classes and had learnt to disarm assailants. Harry's ability to do whole-body coordination made him soak up the grapples and holds. They would often spend many evenings on Cornwall beach practising accuracy and leading targets with the guns, after setting up muggle repellent and notice me not charms.

As the translations progressed, Invictus wrote the accounts into modern English with Microsoft Word, and the real wealth of the Peverell Lore became obvious. While there were some 17,000 pages to translate after the most important books had been translated, some of the early lore translations spoke of all manner of beasts and creatures from the Netherworld, Shadow World and other things so horrendous that they could send men insane. Harry came to realise that magic had been here a long time, and there were terrible things that existed in the world. There were documented cases of the malevolent entities that caused blood curses, and there were records of how foul rituals were used to unbalance the body – how one could push a particular aspect of the body so far as to mangle all the other aspects. Harry realised that this was the cost that Voldemort had paid for his ascendancy into being the most terrifying Dark Lord of the century and there was nothing human left in him.

Another treasure trove that was prioritised at the beginning of the translations, was the large number of battle manuals that could summon any manner of magical attacks with the hands. They depended on constant practice and the right type of Occulumency. One would have to use the altered state of mind to push the magic through the nerves, as they were conditioned into familiarity. This was not unheard of – The Ugadou school of magic in Africa encouraged wandless magic regularly. However, many of the spells were not combative. Aurors in Africa utilised wands if they were required to fight. However, magic for daily living was done with the hands.

The Peverell Battle Manuals demonstrated without a doubt with enough practice, that any type of magic could be summoned with the hands. Hermione practised with Harry daily, and she made it her business to continue daily, even if there were no noticeable results to be seen. Harry insisted that he could see the magic as it propagated in her hand and that 'there was a difference, even if it didn't look so.'

Always keep the best for yourself, was a maxim that all the Peverell clan subscribed to, compulsively.

An unusual but heartening historical account was when Glaucon himself visited a small village in the Himalayas, to obtain a particular magical rice grain, that he had heard whispers about in France. He also was quite happy upon arrival in India, to purchase the local cloth. He commented that it was the highest quality fabric he ever laid his eyes on. He also documented that the Himalayas were surrounded by a type of powerful magic that even made him think twice about venturing deeper.

He recounted that many wise men of the orange cloth – the brahmins or great sages seemed to levitate, routinely change into animals, and control the weather like it was child's play. Some of them rode giant snakes like it was a common horses. There was another snake that popped up rather regularly – a Cobra that possessed nine heads. The Seshnaga was the true king of the serpents and all other snakes would often dip their head when it crossed its path. Glaucon in the accounts mentioned that he was what the Europeans called a 'Parselmouth' and he was able to listen in on the conversations between the saints and the serpents. The Seshnaga seemed to be a herald – an animal that was somehow linked to greater things and they only spoke to those who were marked by destiny.

As Harry read on, he also learned about phoenixes. Many varieties existed and they were called "Garuda" in India. They were of Lightning, Fire, Water, Air and Earth. They preferred mountainous environments as nesting locations. It felt like a little bit of destiny at that moment - his adoptive mother was Indian and he began to wonder if perhaps India was calling to him. He made up his mind he would visit the Himalayas if only to pay respect both to his adoptive mother and his ancestor who had made the trip.

As the translations proceeded, Hermione's material proved to be just as interesting. The Dagworth-Granger had been created when two houses from a powerful marriage had decided to amalgamate their magic into a singular entity. The Granger magic could provide hints and intuitions about pioneering ingredients, but the Dagworth magic? It was capable of sensing how potions affected nerves, muscles and even the bones. Hermione was quite sure that the cure to Frank and Alice Longbottom's condition was possible with her house magic.

The armour advancement continued, and communications were now the focus.

The integration of two shoulder mounted, servo positioned cameras that could be remotely controlled allowed Hermione to monitor both the front and the back of Harry's environment. Connectivity was provided via standard cellular networks and the video feed could be sent to anyone via the internet. Grace could not penetrate the initial area that she had circled many months ago, but she continued to add additional plot points. Harry had searched through the Peverell lore to find out more about phoenixes. According to the lore, phoenixes as creatures of the light were not capable of entering into places or flying across enchantment of great darkness, and now her adverse reaction made sense. It was now coming to the end of March and besides the usual business ventures, Harry had stopped all his studies and focused on target practice, and hand to hand combat along with building his drone platform.

The original idea had been to break Sirius out of Azkaban during February, but many problems had delayed the armour. The problems came by as they tested ideas, and they did not work. Eventually, after scratching their heads, they would figure out unconventional solutions. William had even shared some of his insights into what could be optimised as he had worn his fair share of bulletproof armour. Some of the pieces had to be shortened, some had to be reshaped and Harry found himself burning through large amounts of money. Also, while armour development went on, business for Harry continued as he tweaked the assembly line and his wine business continued to grow.

In all this time only Remus, William and Hermione had seen the armour in action. As far as the rest of the family was concerned, Harry was going through a dry spell and Hermione was showing Harry how Witches ran the world. Harry on the other hand, did not have any problem with the competition. After all, Hermione paid him a salary that was equal to what he paid her and the number of take-out boxes increased exponentially. This was the one financial blunder they could not master.

If it was food and it was tasty….that was it.

CNC mills and Plasma cutters had arrived in the manor, and the 'Peverell Workshop' began to look like a manufacturing facility. Remus continued to build stands, as the materials were hauled in via his truck, as magical shielding and power had been set up. Underground power and fibre optic cable were installed, and when the ISP and the electrical company had visited the manor to install the amenities, they both found it unusual that a castle existed in the middle of nowhere. Of course, when the technicians spoke to Harry and he listed his demands specifically, along with the large number of pounds that he could throw around, they assumed that they were dealing with royalty.

Now Harry had blazing fast Internet and electrical power.

It was a late Saturday evening as Harry began manufacturing parts for the modified drone that he would be steering into Azkaban's coveted location. The issue was once again:

Did the FiendFyre modified weapons work against the Dementors? He was also concerned that Dementors could freeze in the environment which implied that they could consume energy.

Harry also purchased a Cyber Quad drone, which was one of the new quadcopters that were considered cutting edge. He was not only planning to use the standard internals, but he was going to retrofit the ducted fans with his special thrusters. The titanium brace that would hold all the donor parts would be capable of much higher payloads and provide passive shielding in the right places for the electronics. He decided that his test flights would occur at no other than Hogwarts, to test its reliability. Of course, the big question Hermione had asked him was how would he get one hundred plus miles of instantaneous communication without spending thousands of pounds on high gain antennas?

Hermione had smiled, when she realised that Harry had found an unusual solution.

Harry explained that he had uploaded all the diary and journal notes from his parents to his computer. He had also used OCR software to convert them to Word Documents. This enabled him to search through all his father's and mother's memoirs by keywords. He had out of curiosity searched the entire uploaded collection for the word "communicate".

Harry had found an account where his father and Sirius had used a piece of a mirror as a communication device. Hermione upon hearing this knew exactly where this was going – and as she had guessed, the protean charm had been used to retrofit the mirror with instantaneous visual communication. This charm had worked well for already linking wand cores and now, he could transmit data signals via laser beams, with zero latency at any distance. He also replaced some of his earlier video cameras with large enough mirrors and left traditional cameras as redundancies.

While the Drone was being physically built, there were many of the runic systems that had been in progress from the beginning of the year. And while the parts were the last thing to do, many small tests were carried out to ensure that they had successful modules that could be used elsewhere. Technically the drone development had started in January, and after four months of issues, they were now investigating the flight. For now they had a completed "mini-cannon", and an A.I. driven autopilot that had been trialled beforehand.

Remus was given the task of visiting the Shrieking Shack with a team of elves. They renovated the place, boarded up the known entry points and began getting the place liveable. The idea was to charge every powercell and have it dripping full of energy as the drone would be making multiple trips for the rescue operation.

The Shrieking Shack was the only place where nobody was crazy enough to visit.

Harry had ideally wanted the place to be fairly strong and he was not satisfied with the wooden construction. He then invented a product that would one-up Hermione's recent success. He had wondered what was the one product that was common to the mundane world that wizards would surely buy. And then, his escapade with the wall and the forcefield hit him, literally and metaphorically.

Concrete.

Harry sensing an opportunity for another product that could help him recoup the astronomical cost of all the machining and custom parts he had done, took a break from the excessive shooting and flying. He used his occlumentic meditation combined with his transfiguration to observe concrete as it hardened over many evenings. He soon realised that magic could harden concrete rapidly as for whatever reason, it sped up the reaction. He wondered if this was the secret to Hogwart's massive size. It probably would not be hard to construct a large castle with a large enough team of individuals.

Harry also wondered if the legendary Roman Concrete also had something special in its makeup. He tweaked the mixture with Fly Ash. He also experimented with carbon nanotubes as he hoped that the additive would tie into the concrete structure and increase the strength when magic was applied. He soon developed an additive that when added only at three per cent by volume, produced concrete that was far superior to the current Quickcrete that was available. He realised that he could produce fairly good graphene nanotubes at the Manor while large scale production in the mundane world was an issue.

Perhaps it was time to contact companies and supply in bulk?

He also reached out to a British renewables company that specialised in processing landfill plastic and he ordered many different sample sizes. Harry began mixing his concrete mix with differently sized particle plastics. Harry found that with sand-sized plastic particles, he could reduce the weight of the concrete significantly. Local testing for compressive and shear strengths at a lab revealed that the product was far better than any of the offerings on the market. At a 45 per cent decreased weight, the concrete was almost eighty per cent stronger.

Harry didn't like the idea of nailing wood to make formwork, so he began to repurpose Protego shields as forcefield formwork. This was when another breakthrough happened – the concrete in the presence of the magic being emitted from the shield surface hardened in hours. From Harry's comparison to some of the concrete that had come from the Granger's backyard, the magically set concrete seemed to look almost the same as concrete that had been set over many years and the water content seemed to be far lower. He was grateful for the coincidental discoveries that compounded in his favour.

As Harry had developed the "Graphcrete", he used it liberally for his little safe house at the Shrieking Shack. Harry was quite aware that Remus was learning all types of home improvement skills, and knew exactly how they would handle the Shrieking Shack. With a portable electric mixer, a lot of cheap buckets and a couple of trusty Wingardium Leviosas, Remus soon found himself using all the tools he had purchased. Between the elves' ability to do wandless magic and the apparition of buckets, Remus found himself in a solid room that was easily sixty centimetres thick.

Harry had enjoyed the experience – the elves could spread material and level items without any tools. A generator had also assisted in keeping the entire affair charged overnight. Finally, Remus who had been practising to weld was only too happy to fabricate a thick heavy steel door and bolt it to the wall. Harry then installed biometric security, wired to a lithium power pack and some of the old Peverell furniture was moved into the space.

The Shrieking Shack looked exactly like its usual appearance until you opened the wooden door and were greeted by a thick behemoth of a steel door. There were even solar panels on the roof and Harry had discovered that the voltage amplification provided by Solar panels working in magical areas meant that he did not need a large number of them. The only adaptation was the thicker than usual wires that went to the charge controller, which was insulated will by a thick titanium plate.

Harry and Remus celebrated by having a lot of beer - they had fortified one of the most infamous Hogwarts legends without anyone knowing. While the purpose of the room was to charge power packs, Harry decided that some creature comforts would not be too bad. He also considered that he was not going to leave anything that Pettigrew could find. As the time passed by, Harry placed the entire generator apparatus in a hidden compartment as it passively captured energy from an underground copper spike that seemed to intersect one of Hogwarts' primary magical Leylines.

Harry now had one hundred B.M.P power cells fully charged. And this did not include many of the smaller ones.

Little did they know that Fred and George Weasley had acquired the Marauder's Map from an open filing cabinet in Filch's office. They had seen Hadrian Peverell and Remus Lupin in the Shrieking Shack. The boys had remembered that Remus had spoken to their mother some months ago, and they wondered who Hadrian Peverell was – in any case they had never explored the castle much so they decided they would investigate there first.

By the time early May had arrived, Harry had rebuilt the drone three times larger. After iterating the item so many times, none of the old components had remained. The large quadcopter possessed about a fifteen kilogram payload, along with a full electric propellor system, and a separate magical thruster system. Now the drone could stay up for twenty hours at a time while switching between various systems. The magical thrusters would easily cruise at 200 kph. The rest of the weight was in BMPs, Lithium Cobalt battery packs, high zoom cameras, parabolic microphones, energy shields and an invisibility cloak. This was complemented by the initial projects which were a huge water-cooled rifle that could be actuated and a custom onboard computer with A.I. software. The drone had been silenced as best as possible. Sticking charms were included on the tripod feet and these could be activated on command.

Harry and Hermione had a small party to commemorate the completion of the ridiculously over engineered device. As Hermione and Harry ate dinner in the workshop that evening after doing some work on the drone, Hermione caught Harry up on her projects.

She explained that she was working on a reflex sharpening potion, and she had made great progress with it. However, the issue was that the calorific deficit made her eat an easy 5,000 calories after she consumed the potion. As of right now, she was trying to combine the potion with an included glucose solution to offset the energy deficit. The idea was to release a far inferior version on the market and then keep the top end potion for their use in combat situations.

Hermione also explained the projects that Luna was currently working on – Harry was very pleased when he looked at the canvas that evening. Luna had drawn a rather fantastic creation that borrowed design cues from a Halo MA5c Assault rifle, An Unreal Tournament Shock rifle, and a Warhammer 40K bolt gun. Later that week, Harry commissioned a digital artist to create a mock-up in blender software. He then printed off the object at an industrial 3D printing business before measuring and modelling the rifle, as he worked backwards so that he would have assemblies that would interface with his parts.

Harry was quite aware that the U.K. had strict drone laws and his exploit was a simple solution. If the drone had to leave his house, Grace would apparate it to a far off spot. Remus volunteered to familiarise Grace with many magical locations that were famous – particularly the Hogwarts Express Train Station, Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest.

Grace had her newly made invisibility harness. Interestingly, Hermione had come up with a ridiculously simple solution to activate the device. They had settled on a squeezable switch that could fit on Grace's claw. After all the headbutting and gnashing of teeth, there was no need to look for a complex solution. Grace could merely clench her claw tightly and disappear. She was only too happy to fly over the whole forbidden forest as she transmitted video feed and pictures taken via her harness mounted smartphones. Soon, Harry had an entire aerial view of Hogwarts, from all the pictures that they had stitched together carefully. Invictus would often take the drone for a spin when he felt bored – Grace would often apparate the drone into Hogwarts and Invictus would fly around and familiarise himself with the place. After all, Harry had spent a lot of money to magically shield the electronics and it was good that the drone could provide useful and Lorna were flabbergasted at the majestic aerial views of Hogwarts that the drone had captured. Priya was only too happy to show her parents the majestic castle, the Quidditch pitch and Hogsmeade. Ved and Amba quickly understand why Priya loved Hogwarts, as it was truly a beautiful and magical place. Harry had also scored a GPS tag, just in case he needed it.

On other days, Harry took the drone and surveyed the corridors at night on the most minimal crawl speed. With the height of the Hogwarts halls, nobody ever noticed. Remus began teaching Harry the names of the teachers he saw around the school. Harry was now familiar with Flitwick, Sinstra, Babbing, McGonagall, Sprout, Filch, Hagrid and Trelawney.

And then the two final nincompoops, Goatmaster Dumblebore and Shithead Snape were closely observed. None of the teachers at Hogwarts had any idea that they were being observed during their nightly patrols. Harry reviewed his pictures and then started scrap boards on every teacher.

Intelligence was key.

Harry considered that audio and video surveillance bugs in Snape's and Dumbledore's offices would be highly beneficial, as soon as he figured out some magical solutions for those items.

It was now time - the drone had been tested in one of the most magically concentrated places, and it had passed every test. Harry's armour was done and Hermione could target objects reasonably with the joystick. The drone did not seem to have any reliability issues, but Harry soon developed a full checklist pre and post-mission to check that everything was fine. He was now six months late, from the initial January target, but he felt he was prepared. Harry had been continuing his martial arts, his target practice and had been getting extra sleep to prepare himself.

It was a bright and early Monday morning when Hermione, Harry and Remus were huddled up in Peverell Manor, as Invictus jumped into the computer linked picture frame and accessed the software controls for the drone called BFD – the 'Big Fucking Drone'. Grace grasped the installed perch handle and dropped the hovering drone off at the two hundred and twenty-kilometre mark. Harry based on his GPS plots, had plotted out a path as Invictus took the drone in at the top speed of 280kph, fully cloaked with an envelope containing a magical mirror, magical earbuds, a silencing device, a titanium bracelet, a portkey bracelet and a letter with the proper instructions all hidden in the payload container.
