Mono, himself is in a pitch-black place and unable to see.

What was he doing?

Oh. Looking for Six.

"HOI!" Mono shouts as he starts walking in the dark.

Then, he sees a cracked door with purple light emitting from inside, shining far away on the horizon of darkness.

He runs to it. The closer he is, the clearer he sees.

SIX!

Then, Mono sees an ax stuck on the door. As soon as he gets to the door, he jumps to get the ax and pushes the door to get it out.

Falling to the ground, Mono drags the ax sluggishly to the door.

Why is it heavier than before?

Mono thought the ax is as light as the others he dragged throughout the Pale City.

Using all his force to lift the ax, Mono STRIKES it down, shattering the damaged door.

However, as soon as the ax pierces through the door, the ax falls into the room, which is just floorless and an abyss below, pulling Mono still holding to it.

What?!

Mono quickly lets it off, but the remaining pull force remains, making him fall to the abyss.

"No. NO!"

As the last second of desperate, Mono turns his body to grab whatever he can. And he's able to hang on the edge of the cliff but struggles to hold it any longer.

Then, he slips. Thinking that he's dead, Mono closes his eyes but can't hide the tears of repentance.

He wishes to do many more things with Six.

To play with her.

Or at least...meet her.

Suddenly, Mono feels a sudden stop while falling. Looking up, he sees Six, his best friend, catching his hand.

A relieving feeling fills his body...that he is saved.

However, that is crushed instantly as Six's face becomes clear to see.

She's...smiling?

And that is the moment he is frightened.

Half of Six's face is pure black with the dark eye and the scarlet pupils glowing in the dark. And her smile is so creepy. It's not kind of smiles when she tried to.

Mono grabs the edge instinctively and tries to climbs up.

Thumb

His hand suddenly feels painful. Looking up, he sees Six stomps on his hand.

"Bye. Mono!" Six says with a smirk and then kicks Mono off the cliff.

Mono falls in shock. Yet, somehow, he still felt it was about to happen.

Closing his eyes, Mono ceases to faint.

.

HUH!

Mono wakes up due to the nightmare. He breathes and sweats heavily.

Looking around, he sees himself on a soft bed surrounding by the curtain.

Where am I? Is this room in it (The Tower)?

Mono then notices a pole nearby with a bag of clear liquid. Following the pipe flowing from the bag, Mono is curious about it injecting into his right arm, wanting to pull it out.

"Hey. I suggest you not do that!" A sudden, strange voice appears, making Mono jump.

Who?!

Mono is alerted. The last time he met someone being able to talk, he got...

Letting the thought of the betrayal aside, Mono quickly looks for the source of the voice. And to do that, he's about to pull the pipe out.

SUDDENLY, the curtain is pulled aside.

Mono's hand emits glitching particles as he tends to defeat the man quickly.

He has to defeat him before he has a chance to do whatever he tends to do with him.

However, Mono's power doesn't go off.

What?! Why doesn't it come off?

Mono looks and is instantly frightened by the look of the man. Intimidating red-outlined eyes with his hair rising.

Aizawa's POV

This boy and the girl sure caused the school problems: Destroying infrastructures and injuring students.

Aizawa sits on the chair near the entrance, guarding the boy off from causing any more damage since he's the only one being able to stop him.

But how did they get into the school inside unnoticed?

Aizawa then remembers that the girl suddenly popped out of the TV when Eri was watching the cartoon.

Is that her quirk or others?

A sudden noise cuts his thoughts. And he notices it's coming from the boy's bed.

It looks like he's awake.

Then, he sees the boy trying to pull the IV off his hand.

(Sigh)

Aizawa then opens the curtain, and immediately he notices the glitching particle around the boy's hand, similar to the ones at their fight.

With his quick reaction, Aizawa activates his quirk to nullify the boy's quirk.

Mono's POV

Mono is frightened. He never expects someone to be able to cancel his power.

"You better not do that!" The man says calmly, but his eyes say otherwise -"Behave!"

"W...Who are you?"

"My name's Aizawa. What's yours?"

"M..Mono."

Mono is still scarred. But why? He would even not be afraid of the intimidating Hunter, the slithering-necked Teacher, the crawling Doctor, or even his powerful future-self, Thin Man.

Then, why...why is he afraid of the man about the size of him?

...

Maybe...

Six did give him the bravery to get through all the nightmarish monsters.

But thinking about his 'friend' only makes his heart pierced again.

And it's hurt...
