Chapter 12: Townly's Story

The jet that Townly, Bull, Axl, and Francis were on flew through the sky at a speed that not even the airline Taz, Molly, and Jake were riding was going at. "Here's the plan," explained Townly, "Once we get to our destination, we'll do some exploring and HOPEFULLY we'll find those devil's. Unlike when we were home, we can't be doing stupid shit in California or we will land ourselves into trouble. It's not like in Tazmania where we pretty much had the right to do whatever. Chairman also doesn't what other Acme branches involved." "Eh, sounds simple enough," said Francis. "In order to get these guy's, I suggest you 3 work as a team as I mentioned yesterday," said Townly, "Understand?" "Understand," said Francis. "You know I've been thinking," said Bull, "Maybe we 3 ain't so different after all." "Hehehe, I guess so?" said Axl, pretending to agree. Townly looked at Axl, a little unsure if the gator was being legit or not.

"I'm curious to how you got the job for Acme Agent Townly," said Bull, "How did you get the job and why did you start working for Dingo?" "Oh yes, how I got to where I am today," Townly replied, "Before I worked at Acme here in Tazmania, I was a spy for Acme in the states back when I was still living there in 1987. I did various things, like blending into public and catching top suspects. By the time 1995 rolled around, I was hoping to be promoted to commander but luck wasn't on my side. Instead, I was moved to Tazmania to continue work as a spy, despite all my experience and potential to be a great commander. But then, the former chairman of the Acme Tazmania Branch known as Mr. Marcelo passed away and Dingo was moved up to the chair. Dingo saw lots of potential in me and after every commander of the spies had pretty much failed, he moved me there. Drew Devil was going to be my main suspect, but Dingo wanted to take care of him personally. Instead, he had me take care of other suspects that weren't as high on the list. However, turns out I'd have some sort of involvement when you guys told me about Taz. Turns out Dingo knew him very well and then came our mission yesterday. And now here we are in this very moment."

"That's an interesting story in all Townly, but this leads to more questions," said Axl, "Why did you take Acme as a job in the first place? And why are there suddenly spies? I thought Acme just made products." "Good God, I should've said all information is classified," the agent said under his breath, then said out loud, "I took the job for Acme because I was struggling financially. I needed something that paid well in order for me to stay afloat. Funny thing is Dingo was in a similar struggle after his parents booted him out of the house. As far as spy stuff goes, that's something the chairman who forsees all Acme's told me personally to not talk about. All I can say is it is necessary to have spies in the long run." "Speaking of spies, where are the rest? And are they gonna even be helping us?" asked Francis. "They are coming along, we just have a head start is all," said Townly.

Meanwhile, Taz and his siblings were walking down one of the streets, checking out stores. Most of which were just the retail stores that could be seen everywhere. A few restaurants here and there but that was mostly it. One of them had a help wanted sign. "Hey Taz," said Molly, "Here's somewhere to get some earnings." Taz vocalized, pretending to sound interested. "It would be nice if there were a store that sold rocket ships," said Jake. Taz spoke in his gibberish, to assure Jake they'd probably find a place that had the stuff he was looking for.

Taz, Molly, and Jake thought they had escaped trouble, but that wasn't precisely the case yet...

To be continued in the next chapter...

Taz-Mania: The Final Chapter takes place in the year of 1996, about a year after some of the episodes and events of Season 4. In a way, the series almost coexists with the years of when the episodes aired. Although at the same time, it doesn't fully coexist either, as the characters would be 5 years older than their original ages within Taz-Mania. At the most, I'd say from when Taz-Mania started to Taz-Mania: The Final Chapter, it takes place at least within a span of 2 to 3 years (1993 or 1994 to 1996). That way so they don't range too far from their ages and still somewhat stay the same. Even then, I still can't headcanonly confirm this at this time.
