I have an request at the end of the chapter. So enjoy and please read it. :)
.
(Mono's POV)
"Hello?" A sudden greet makes Six and Mono surprised. Looking at where it is, they see Principal Nezu waving at the curtain. "May I come in?" He asks, to which they nod. They strangely don't feel awkward talking with him. Maybe it's because of him not being a human. Or just his charming appearance of cute animals? At least, Mono doesn't mind having a conversation with him.
"So, how was your first day at school, Six and Mono? Was it fun?" The principal asks after he jumps to sit on the window sills. "We felt a bit awkward being surrounded by that many people," Mono explains in short about their experience with classes. "How about the lessons? Were they intelligible?"
That reminds Six and Mono about one thing: They didn't even learn or even understand a word.
.
(3rd POV)
"Did you study at your old place? Or there's something making you unable to do so?" Nezu asks, to which Mono answers.
"We only know the basics of math and none of the other," Mono explains their situation, feeling a bit ashamed. "Oh! Then, how much did you learn before getting here?" Nezu asks. "I have studied to grade 3 before..." Mono stops before finishing, reluctant to continue.
Six, seemingly sees that, answers. "I have studied to grade 6 before dropping out." That raises a question from Nezu and Mono.
"Grade 6? Aren't you two the same age?" Nezu says.
"How are you 3 grades over me?" Mono expresses his surprise. How could she do that?
"I think my parents let me study early or something. I don't remember much before..." She talks briefly about her past and then stops. She seems scared talking about the topic. "It's ok if you don't want to continue." Nezu, seeing that, decides to change the subject -"So as you two haven't caught up with the class in the academic education. Do you want to study again?"
Mono and Six are surprised to see how generous Nezu is in helping them get used to this world. Maybe too much for strangers like them.
.
(Mono's POV)
"Why are you helping us?" Six asks right before Mono wants to ask the question, which Nezu shows a slight surprise. "Why would you ask that?" He asks back.
"Because I see this is a bit suspicious that you keep helping us, the two intruders, adapt to this...place. What is your intention, Principal Nezu?" Six says with suspicion and caution, which Mono finds slightly rude. Yet, he agrees with her and waits for Nezu's response.
The principal just stays silent for a couple of seconds. He looks thoughtful. Maybe thinking about how to explain to us?
"I could tell you a white lie to change the subject." The principal says with a solemn tone, which Mono listens carefully -"But as I observe, you two have a very sharp instinct. So, I may tell you my intention."
.
(3rd POV)
Nezu then tells them about the existence of Villains, the criminal or bad guys of this place. He also tells about the criminal organization called League Of Villain, which is led by the most powerful villain of all time, All For One. And that though he is in prison, he may have some undergoing plans that very few people know, included quirk stealing and infusing.
"So, you let us stay to not give All For One our powers?" Mono wants to assure the answer. "Yes. But I have one thing to ensure: We are the mentors that will try our best to protect the youth of the country. And you're no exception." Nezu says with the responsibilities and self-esteem of a teacher and a principal of UA, guaranteeing that he has no harmful intention for them.
Six seems to accept that as she finds his speech reasonable with no bad intention. Mono, however, doesn't feel the same. He feels the principal mixing truth and falsehood. Yet, he doesn't have any proof the principal does, so he goes along with it anyways.
.
"Anyways, let me talk about where you two will move to," Nezu says with a more soft tone. "Move?" Mono questions. "Yes. Now that your health has got much better now, you can't just stay here forever. So, due to your minor social anxiety, I may redirect you to study with Mirio, a junior until you catch up with the class. For acomodation, you will live along with the class in the dorm." Nezu explains.
"Wait. Couldn't we stay somewhere else?" Six says as she hears about staying in the dorm, unwanting that. "No, you won't. Whether you liked it or not, you have to befriend with them to adapt to this place." Nezu says with a strict voice, reminding her that she is a pupil and has to follow the rules.
"I'm okay with that. But could we meet the junior beforehand?" Mono says.
.
(Mono's POV)
"Talking about me?"
Mono looks at where the new voice comes from. On the wall, the face of a young adult with blue oval eyes appears out of the blue. He pauses a bit, his brain tries to process what is going on. And then looks once more at the face, which remains and smirks at him.
"WHAT THE!?" Mono jumps of surprise and accidentally hits Six quite hard to her side. "What happened, Mono!?" Six says as the face submerges into the wall like a swimmer in the water. "There's a face on the wall that just appears and disappears from the wall." Mono says as he points at where the face was.
Six stands to see where he points, which there's nothing. "But there's nothing."
"But there was!" Mono says further, wanting Six to believe that, which she does, and turns to the principal, which Mono notices a slight smirk before Six asks. "Is there anyone with a wall-phasing power?"
The principal just giggles a bit.
"You're sharp, kid." Mono notices the same voice beyond the curtain. Pulling it off is a tall young man with a very muscular build with blonde hair.
"Who are you!?" Mono asks as he points at the person freak-out. He has seen so many unnatural people such as the Teacher or the Doctor. Yet, he still jumps out of his skin by just seeing the face on the wall though he thinks it is less extreme.
.
(3rd POV)
"Hi! I'm Mirio, your mentor from now on." Mirio says as Six notices a little figure behind his legs. And it's a smoll girl with white hair and a little horn on her left forehead, who hides again as she sees Six looking at her.
"Come out, Eri," Mirio says as he gently pushes the girl. "No! It's the scary hoodie girl from before." Eri says nervously.
