Mono is now in his own bedroom. Laying on the bed, he cuddles around the blanket. This one is much warmer than the one in the infirmary. He then recalls what has happened since he went with Mirio.
He gets some introduction to the rules of the school. Most of them are similar to those of his old ones but with a slight difference with the "quirk". Then, Mirio introduces him and Six to the two students he met earlier, Deku and Uraraka, and then leaves with Eri. At first, both he and Six was hesitant to split apart. However, after being explained the fact that they are only one night apart, they decide to do so, slightly reluctant.
But at least, they can have a warm place to lay after so long. Yet, why couldn't he sleep?...
He wonders if Six is in the same mood as him. Looking outside at the shining moonlight, Mono once again has a moment of relief. He wonders why he and Six are so lucky to stumble upon this world. They never have a place to go, not even a hope to escape the loops. This makes him somewhat unease, as if this may not be any better. Or maybe this is just some more intention for them to come?...
"URGH!" Mono tousles his hair, thinking he needs to stop thinking negatively. However, that's what he always thinks while waiting in the cursed Tower.
"What should we do now? Going along with this world?" He looks up at the ceiling, wondering in thoughts.
*CLICK*
A sudden door click attracts his attention. Mono quickly gets off the bed to look for it. And he can see the thing making the noise.
"A Nome?!" A little papery white skin creature with a conical head appears on the balcony, seemingly observing him. "Why is there a Nome here?" The Nome then hastily jumps off the balcony after noticing Mono staring at it.
He quickly gets to the balcony, looking down for the Nome, worrying if they are hurt. Then, the bush shackles a bit before the Nome comes out, safe and unharmed.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot they are invincible."

"You're the new student?."
Mono turns back in surprise as his hands are covered in static.
But then, he meets the white kitsune mask with the black short hair, and it somewhat makes him feel nostalgic and stop channeling his power. Instead, he shows a cautious pose as he asks. "Who are you?"
The fox mask stays still on the person's face. A mild breeze comes by to only make Mono shiver.
"I'm Shichi. Shichi Yamato. But you can call me..." The mask tills slightly as the person hangs out their hands, offering a shake. "...Seven."
"Seven?" Mono says with a slightly confused face. He looks at Seven, who is shorter than him and wears a suit with white cloth hanging on his hips. "What are those?"
"Yes!" Seven says as he returns his hand.
"How could you get here on the balcony?"
"I climbed." Seven says as if it is a casual thing to do. "Why?"
"I just want to see you, a new student." Seven says as a tiny Nome jumps and sits on his shoulder, which makes Mono spooked a bit. That gets attention from Seven.
"You know them!?"
"Uhhh..." Mono's hesitant to say, he feels this boy's presence is quite ominous. Yet, he decides to do so. "...Yes."
Then, Mono can feel Seven's staring behind his and Seven's mask. A stare that somehow makes him get the feeling again. Nostalgia and sadness.
...
"The Maw."
"What?" Mono can hear his talk but doesn't understand, to which Seven responds by insisting on asking. "Do you know it? The Maw?"
"No..." Mono answers. "...But what is that place?"
Seven stays silent for a while, which makes Mono feel awkward. He doesn't know how to open a conversation with a boy. In fact, the only person he has ever talked to is Six, not even in the past...
"Are you fine?"
"What?" Mono says as he suddenly hears a strange voice, different from Seven's one. Looking around, there is no one but him and Seven standing on the balcony. "Whose voice was that?"

"Hey." Seven calls Mono, snapping him back. "You fine?"
"Oh. I...I'm fine." Shuttering a bit, Mono keeps showing the cautious towards.
"Maybe, I should leave. The night has gotten freezing now, and you only have a pajama on you."
And now that Seven mentions it, Mono starts shivering in cold air. It was never this cold in Pale City.
"Errrrrr...Choo." He quickly gets inside as he can hear minor chuckles behind Seven's mask. "Ok. I'll be going now. See you soon..." Seven says as he turns and is about to jump. "...Oh. And I'm from class 1C, in case you want to know." and parkours his way upwards after throwing a rope on his hip.
Mono quickly runs outside again to see him but he has gone already.

Mono is quite surprised by how sudden Seven is, come here unexpectedly just to greet him? Having just talked to him, Mono can see he has other purposes with him. And that fox mask...
"Why is it look so familiar?" Mono then closes the door against the freezing night air outside.
Mono sits on the bed as he keeps thinking. Not only about Seven but the strange presence he gave to him.
"Do you know it? The Maw?"
But what is the Maw? And what is Seven's intention?
"AWWWWWWWW!" Mono then lays down on the bed, too overloaded with thoughts. There are too many things that are too obscured. Not only the Principal Nezu is hiding something from him and Six, even there's something with how they got here.
Or it's just him having some trust issues? He doesn't know. All those loops all coming back at once really makes his mind unstable.
Hand on his eyes, Mono thinks if they really reach a happy place here or place themselves in worse fates than in the loops. He also doesn't know.
But one thing he knows for sure: He is going to protect Six.

But another thing Mono doesn't know, but deep inside him, vengeance will be what drives him till the end.

Hi, It's me. I'm back with the chapter. Sorry for not posting for the past 2 weeks. I have been trying to make an entrance for the new character while having some family issue. But I'm pretty good now. ^-^
Moreover, the next chapter will be the start of the Nomu assault arc. Hope you look forward to it.
