Now, even that confusing Mathematics or complex Literature no longer makes them hard to understand.

Mono and Six even climb to the top 5 best students of the class in TWO weeks. Moreover, they can even compete with Momo, the best student.

Suddenly, someone touched his shoulder, making him jump.

"Who are you?"- Mono asks the person as he can't see the face.

"You don't need to know yet."- The shadow figure says -"You'll see in the future."

"What do you want?"

"I just want to talk. It's been a long time since I last talked to a human."- The shadow talks with a calm voice.

"Doesn't that mean you're not a human?"

"I used to be one. But I had to leave the body to look for help."- The Shadow explains -"Now, I consider myself as a spirit, refuging in your mind."

Mono is surprised by the sudden appearance of the Shadow. More ironically, it's also lonely like him, making him feel sympathy and familiarity.

"Oh. Then, What do you want to talk about?"- Mono says.

"I didn't expect you to accept so quickly."- The Shadow says calmly, making the atmosphere a little stressful for Mono.

"Pufffffffff. HAHAHAHA."- The Shadow suddenly laughs joyfully, making Mono look in confusion -"ha..."

"Oh, Mono. You sure are easy to jump as Six said."

"W...What do you mean?"- Mono asks as he is still confused -"And you know Six?"

"Well, yes. Since I have been here for a long time, I also experience your feeling and action from the loop, then in this world."

"What? You know the loop?"- Mono says in surprise, didn't expect the Shadow to know the loop.

"Of course, I know. I was the one who broke you free from it."- The Shadow says -"One in millions of others."

"Anyways, It would be difficult for you to talk if I stay like this. Give me a sec!"

Then, the Shadow starts forming a face and body. When it has done, Mono realizes that it looks exactly like him.

"Why do you turn into me?"

"Oh. Don't worry about that. I used to be a boy like you after all."

"It just feels uncomfortable when someone alters your body."

"What do you mean?"

"You make my left eye bright blue."

"Oh. This? No. No."- The person says as he touches his left eye -"I didn't do anything. I copy your appearance entirely."

Said to this, Mono is so confused. His eyes are always pure black.

Seeing that, the person makes a mirror out of thin air and gives it to Mono, who is very surprised by his left eye. It's a bright blue sky color, seemingly peaceful to look.

"Now, with that out of the way, let's talk in a more comfortable place."

"Wait! What's your name?"- Mono asks -"Any names, so I can talk to you more easily."

"Any? Hmmm..."- The person thinks a bit -"You can call me, 'Monaural'"

"Oh. Nice name!"- Mono admires.

"Thanks!"- Monaural says as he turns back and walks down the corridor -"Now, let's go!"

"Ok."

Shortly after, Mono and Monaural arrive at a door. It carves with the Roman number of 1 on it.

"Come in."

The inside is unlike anything Mono would think. It has a couch, a chair, and a table with some snacks, just like any original living room.

"Wow! This..."

"It's nice, isn't it?"- Monaural says.

"It's so...original!"- Mono says mercilessly, making Monaural depressed and punch to the wall repetitively.

"I knew it. I should have tried the traditional ones."- Monaural mumbles while still punching to the wall.

"How could you build this inside my mind?"- Mono asks.

"Oh. You know that imagination is unlimited, right? Your mind also applies that."

"Then how many rooms have you made in my mind?"- Mono asks angrily, knowing that someone has been messing with his mind.

"Uhhh..."- Monaural says nervously -"Just a couple...hundred."

"WHAT?!"

"I can explain."- Monaural says in panic -"You know? It takes attempts to do such things like this room sooooo..."

"(SIGH)"- Mono sighs in powerless -"Welp! I'm outta here!"

"No. No. No. Don't leave me!"- Monaural begs while holding Mono's legs.

"I said I'm outta here!"- Mono says while dragging Monaural.

Mono then opens the door, which he assumes is the exit, but NOPE!

"What? Another room?"

"Oh. I forgot to tell you that you can only get out of this when you wake up. We are in a dream after all!"- Monaural explains.

"(Sigh)"- Mono sighs and looks at Monaural, who is very excited -"Well, What do you want to talk about?"

"Yeah!"

...

"So you said that you came from a world where science AND magic co-exists? That's strange."- Mono says in surprise when Monaural talks about his old world -"But why would you leave your body when your world is so good to stay?"

Suddenly, the atmosphere turns cold and chill.

"You know what? I have enough talk, for now."- Monaural says in haste as he drags Mono to the door -"See you soon!"

"Oh! And also beware my girlfriend. She is in this world too."

"W...What do you mea..."- Mono says back but is awaken by the alarm clock.

Looking around, Mono is still confused by the sudden change of Monaural.

Then, Mono looks at the clock. It's 8 AM. He's going to be late for classes(1). He hastily gets out of the bed and rushes to the bathroom.

...

Mono has done the dressing and is rushing to the classes. Looking at his watch, it's 8:20 AM.

Mono knows that he won't make it in time. Aizawa-sensei isn't the person who wants his students to be late. He decides to use his teleportation quirk.

Mono closes his eyes and thinks about the class's door.

"Whoops!"

Luckily and against all odds, Mono arrives at the class safely.

Sighing in relief, Mono opens the door.

...

Mono looks around and sees strangers.

"Uhh. I think you got in the wrong class."- A tall, bucky and muscular man, which Mono assumes is the teacher of this class, talks to him.

Mono is so embarrassed because he got to the wrong class.

"I'm sorry."- Mono apologizes as he closes back the door and looks at the class sign, 1-B.

"Ah, man."

Mono then runs to his class nearby and opens the doors.

"You're late."- A calm but intimidating voice of Aizawa appears, making Mono chilled.

(1): I have searched online and it said that Class 1-A's timetable is from 8:25 AM to 16:10 PM.

This chapter introduces a new character that I made in my mind.

Follow him because he will be one of the most impactful characters in Mono's emotion and character development along with the whole mega CROSSOVERs' plot.
