Chapter 15: New enemy?

"Now, would you give your power to me?"- Monaural says. He aims the sword at Mono, who hits the foundation hard.

Mono's eye no longer releases particles. And Monaural has disarmed him. He can sense the death arriving for him.

"Is this how I die?"- Mono thinks.

"Yes, it is. Farewell, my friend."

Said, Monaural strikes the cutlass.

1 MINUTE AGO

Mono and Monaural clash with their weaponry which forms a massive flash in the sky.

They both back off as they're ready to attack again.

Mono jumps to Monaural with an excited face and tries to strike him.

"This's kinda fun. I have to admit."- Monaural calmly smirks as he back-flips to dodge mid-air.

Mono doesn't reply but keeps rushing to Monaural with the spike, shredding through the air. Then, his attack misses as Monaural flips again and kicks Mono down.

Mono quickly gets up and jumps to Monaural, clashing their weapons.

However, as the spike hits the sword, it's instantly disintegrated, making Mono shocked for a bit.

Monaural then kicks Mono's chest, making him fall hard to the foundation.

The present

"Is this how I die?"- Mono thinks as he struggles to breathe.

"Yes, it is. Farewell, my friend."

Said, Monaural strikes the cutlass. And It instantly pierces through Mono, who has assumed a painful death.

...

"Huh?"

Mono doesn't feel irritated while the cutlass has thrust his body.

"What?"

"HAHAHAHAHHAhaha."- Monaural chuckles in excitement -"You actually fell for it. OMG!"

"WHAT?!"

"You should see how your face's like when you're using the power. It's so entertaining!"

"Are you serious? Making this joke's just to prank me, SERIOUSLY?"

"No. No. I don't do this for fun."- Monaural says as he pulls the sword and makes it disappear -"Now, Look closely at your hand!"

Looking at his hands, Mono sees the star sky through his hands.

"What?!"- Mono looks at Monaural for an explanation.

Monaural laughs softly.

"Since you came through the door, I have control over your body."- Monaural explains -"The fight was just an illusion for you."

"HOWEVER, I have to say again that I do it on purpose, not for fun."

"What kind is your purpose that even needs my body?"

"Training you."

Mono can hide the surprised face when he heard the answer.

"What?"

"Yes, it is. I'm going to train you. Tomorrow, there'll be a competition between class 1A and 1B."

"What makes you so sure about that? And then, why would you take my body right here, up high on the sky?"

"You'll see!"- Monaural creepily smirks and snaps fingers.

...

Nex morning, Six arrives in the lobby with a spring in her steps. She's glad that Mono doesn't mind about her betrayal nor her hunger curse. And oddly, The Hunger appears to disappear after last night.

Six blushes a bit while thinking about their moment in the rain. It's so romantic as one of the animes they have watched.

"Six, Are you fine?"- A voice cuts Six's thoughts as she notices Uraraka nearby.

Six forgets that she's getting down with her.

"You acted strange yesterday. Are you fine?"- Uraraka asks with care.

"I'm fine. Thank you, Uraraka!"- Six says. She's lucky to have another good friend like Mono.

"I'm glad that you're good now. Look after yourself carefully, Six!"

"Thanks."- Six says as the elevator opens.

Getting out, they get to lay on the couch, waiting for school since it's only 7:00 AM.

Then, on the other side, Mono comes out with his paper bag and the uniform.

"What? I thought he's not going to wear it again."- Six thinks and greets Mono -"Hi, Mono! How are you?"

"Oh, Six!"- Mono says with a tired voice -"I'm fine, I guess."

Noticing that, Six hastily take Mono's bag, revealing his face, which looks as normal as usual. Six expected a sleepy face or something like that but nope.

Mono looks confused by Six's sudden action.

"Hey, give it back!"- Mono begs angrily.

"Why do you wear it again? You said that you would wear it if you felt the world hates you, right?"- Six says, reminding Mono the reason he wears the mask.

"I know."- Mono says with acceptance -"But I wear it for another reason."

"What reason?"- Six asks with curiosity.

"Uhhh..."- Mono hesitates to tell the reason as last night wasn't too good for him.

Last night

"...Then, why would you take my body right here, up high on the sky?"

"You'll see."- Said, Monaural snapped his fingers. And the very next moment, Mono started falling, FAST.

The wind's pressing against Mono harder as he falls accelerate.

"WHAT THE?"

Suddenly, Mono saw Monaural, who's looking at him calmly, flying nearby.

"What the heck is this, Monaural?"- Mono thinks since he can't make a word due to the air pressure.

"This? It's training."- Monaural said as he snapped his fingers again before Mono hit the ground. This time, Mono saw himself and Monaural flying up high in the sky again.

"WHAT IS THIS, MONAURAL? TRAINING?! IT ALMOST KILLED ME!"- Mono shouted as he tried to choke Monaural, which he couldn't since he's in spirit form again. Monaural laughed at Mono's effort to do so.

"This is the training I talked about, Flying and Particle Manipulation."- Monaural said as he flew around and created multiple glowing swords out of thin air.

"What? How? I can't do that."- Mono says with doubt.

"No, you really can't."- Monaural said, hitting directly Mono's self-esteem -"But you have the potential to do so."

"NOW! Let's do it again until you can."

"Wait..."- Not giving Mono a chance, Monaural snapped again and left Mono falling.

.

The present

"He did that several times until I eventually could fly. What a hellish night!"- Mono thinks as he stretches his arms -"I still can't create matter, though..."

"MONO!"- A shouting cuts his thoughts. Looking down, he sees Six looks at him with an angry face, which he somehow finds cute and refreshing to look.

"Are you really fine, Mono? You look drowsy."

"I'm fine."- Mono says -"Now, give back my bag!" - and tries to get it back, which Six doesn't listen at all and runs away.

Mono then chases after Six. However, due to her swiftness, he can't catch up with her.

"SIX! Give back the bag to me!"

Uraraka, who has seen all, is glad that the duo is happy again. She wishes that she and Deku can be like that.

Thinking about that, Uraraka blushes heavily.

"Hi, Uraraka!"- She jumps. Looking back, she sees Deku, who also wears the uniform.

"Oh...H...Hi Deku!"- Uraraka greets nervously.

"Let's go, Uraraka! We're going to be late if we keep standing here."- Deku says with a bright smile, which is very calming to look.

"Six! Give back to me!"- Mono shouts while chasing Six, who's clearly faster than him.

"Come and get it yourself!"- Six then giggles and processes to outspeed Mono.

On the way chasing Six, the duo comes across Aizawa, who looks at them furiously, making them chilled.

"Hey! No running!"

"O...Ok, sensei!"- Mono then notices the boy behind Aizawa.

With a fox mask and black hair, the boy's almost as tall as him.

Suddenly, Mono feels a deadly glare from the boy, who he assumes looking at Six. He remembers Monaural's words before he woke up.

"There'll be a traitor. Beware!"

Thought, Mono thinks to him to beware of whether the boy will do, especially with Six.

"Hey, Mono!"- Six's calling cuts Mono's thoughts -"Are you done dreaming? Let's go! Class is about to start."

"Ok."- Mono follows Six while looking at the boy, who then follows Aizawa to the teachers' office.

This chapter has revealed a new character from Little Nightmare.

Guess who? And I will spoil you some about the plot.

Ham: I thought maybe the eye loses or something and as last resort takes over mono and tries to kill everyone don't mean to be pushy about this but I really like the idea

I noticed that the questions from the last chapter got moved over here and I was confused

I thought if the eye is ever killed that mono should kill it because it is more personal between them and I had a theory that the eye is just a collection of all the mono's that died in the cycle to them alive forever.

About the idea, WOW! Such a good idea. I didn't think about that. I will rewrite the plot now but I don't know when? Where? And What CROSSOVER? :)))))

But I can confirm this: Monaural has some connection with the Eye. It even relates to his past.

And yes, Mono sure has some vengeance to deal with the Eye. But what if I tell you this: Monaural suffered more than Mono did in the Little Nightmare world. However, No one can defeat an overpowered villain without the power of...FRIENDSHIP ;))))

I'm kidding.

Anyways, Mono WON'T kill the Eye, at least spiritually, since it's an expert in Mind Manipulation.
