Okay guys some things may not make sense , I'll be redoing the first chapters I've posted as I'mdeffo not happy with it that will probably be out by next week. I feel like my update schedule will be every month so yeah enjoy.

"Mr koslow" Falco calls the man in the sling.
"What's wrong with these soldiers?" The one being held by the soldier looks like he's about to cry.
"Falco you're too kind for your own good" Colt says, ruffling his hair as falco swats his arm away embarrassed.
"UGH stay out of the way you nosy brat, this is a sorry bunch of eldians with mental trauma."
We can see Eren second in line looking crusty af.
"EREN?! THAT'S WHERE YOU CHOOSE TO HIDE WHEN YOU WENT UNDERCOVER?" Connie asks him in surprise as everyone else looks at him wondering why.
He avoids their gaze keeping his eyes on the screen.
"It happens to our guys too?" Falco asks
The soldier speaks some more but I'm too lazy to write that, before whistling and we see flashes of the battlefield.
"Kaboom" he says and everyone starts flailing and running around while Eren just stands there before they all fall and Eren does so emotionlessly.
The soldiers laugh and F alco goes to help them. He sees Eren and kneels beside him. "Your armbands on the wrong side." He starts to fix it "it's okay sir, I'm sure that you'll get better, it's over now you don't have to fight anymore." The screen goes black.
"Wow, Eren you really look like a piece of shit here, even more so than you looked on the ship" Levi says nonchalantly.
Eren glances at him still silent.
"Say Reiner not to pry but I hear you barely escaped from those devil's with your life" Gabi's father says.
"Leave Reiner alone dad, his time on that island isn't some light hearted war story, those devil's put him through hell so even if it wasn't classified there's no way that it's something he would wanna talk about." Gabi interferes.
"I remember that it was a few weeks ago before the fair." Gabi says helping everyone figure out the timeline.
"Your right, sorry nephew, forgive me." They all look at Reiner waiting for a reaction when he puts his hand on his chin.
"No, I can tell you some things. As you know I infiltrated their military. As expected they acted like devil's, each of them was savage and cruel. During our induction one devil started eating a potato, when the instructor yelled at her she told him without hesitation that she stole it cause it looked good. She knew she crossed the line so she bribed the instructor by offering him half the potato, however the half she offered him was visibly smaller than her half; they don't even know what compromise means there." As he speaks the camera zooms in more on his face.
"What gives you the right to speak so fondly about Sasha Reiner?, we're devil's aren't we, our whole relationship was all a ploy to you, it didn't matter to you didn't it?" Connie says, still angry about Sasha's death caused by his cousin.
"I-" Reiner starts, but is cut off, tears gather in his eyes but he blinks them away pushing down his emotions.
"Each of them was more hopeless than the last, there was one guy so stupid he'd forget why he'd gone into the bathroom, an insincere jerk who only thought about himself, a soft hearted oaf who only ever though of others, a brave but single minded fool and a bunch of chumps who followed his lead, alongside all those diffErent people stood me and my comrades the time that we spent there was truly hell. His raspy voice finishes and we are startled by the movement of the window. His mother's horrified face is the last thing we see before the screen dims out.
"Your actions and your words really are the opposite of each other. Are you really okay Reiner?" Armin asks, not expecting an answer.
Eren, historia and Magath all look at him all for entirely different reasons wanting to hear his answer.
But again he ignores them not wanting to share his feelings, especially in front of everyone.
"Incredible-" Someone says and we see rubble up in flames.
"-they're even stronger than expected."
The female Titan's leg is shown before it moves to her face. The flashes of documents and we see Annie's picture on it. "The female titan, its greatest strength is its versatility." We now see Annie, a spotlight trying to follow her is shown as she runs. "Not only does it boast a combination of high mobility and endurance, its hardened strikes are incredibly destructive. Annie kicks down the tower.
"It's also able to summon pure titans though its range is limited. The image flashes to Annie. "Leonhart is perfect.
Armin gasps as Annie is shown surprised.
'So this is all the information Marley has on the 9 titans? Then what do they know about my titan?' Eren wonders leaning forward slightly with anticipation.
It flash with documents of Reiner and the armour. "The armoured titan naturally specialises in defence, but if it charges at full speed it can break through gates and walls alike as Marley's shield needs to stand tall where the fighting is thickest" the man says. And we are shown the armoured titan walking with his arms shielding his face as shots are fired at him. The image flashes to reiner. "It suits Braun's tenacious spirit"
It then flashes to photos and documents of the jaw titan and Marcel.
"The jaw titan is an assault weapon. It is as speedy as it is small with powerful claws and teeth that can crush almost anything" We see cannons shooting at the jaw titan with him running around and escaping them, before crushing the Canons in its mouth and claws. "Marcel's sharp enough to keep up with it." It flashes to Marcel as he says this.
Porco gasps happily to see his brother even for a brief moment aside from the memories he has of him from inheriting his titan. Seeing him on screen felt like he was momentarily there.
It then flashes to pictures of the beast titan and hot Zeke that we have now lost. "The beast titan is more potent than ever, it's large and strong-" the man says and we see people running before rocks and other projectiles fall on them killing them instantly. "- But more importantly it can outperform an artillery unit with nothing but a fistful of rock." Zeke's titan comes up his eyes red, his back hunched over with some rocks in one of his hands. "What's more, its greatest power lies in its blood." It flashes to Zeke before more pics of documents come up.
'What we would have given to know that Zeke was of royal blood.' Magath thinks to himself.
It then abruptly changes to pieck and the cart titan.
"The cart titan's outstanding endurance makes it well suited for length missions on the field. The cart titan is shown coming out of the water decked in armour. Because it can hold its form for days on end we've enhanced it with specialised equipment." We see it open its mouth before it flashes to Pieck.
"Pieck's superior judgement will serve well here."
"Wow your government is really flawed,what assurance did you have that these kids wouldn't have killed you all when they inherited their titan powers, it is a commonly known fact that kids have minds that can easily be changed" Hange asks, directing the question at Magath.
Magath is a little reluctant before he speaks "I agree with most of what you just said, I kept asking myself the same question wondering if this was right" his voice goes a little dark before losing all emotion as he glances at Hange and Levi "But nothing to do now that was then, let's just get this over with."
It then flashes to images of bertold, his titan, and a vial of titan serum. "Finally there's the colossal titan." Ominous music keeps playing. We see a ship before seeing Bertold there is a cut on his finger and he is staring intensely at it. Lightning starts from it before growing and enveloping his whole body. An explosion cause everything to well explode with people dying, it look like an atomic bomb. We then see the collosal titan surrounded by heat. "It is a god of destruction." It then flashes to bertold. "We trust that Hoover can handle it.
Armin looks at Bertold with different emotions floating around in his eyes.
"I feel bad for those island devils those monster will appear from thin air and start killing them someday." We can now see marlian soldiers on top of a wagon.
"We've been training the members of this warrior units since they were practically infants and it's clear that they're stronger for it but why send these children to take the founding titan, frankly I think it's a bit insane." Commander Magath says the only one speaks right here. The man beside him looks into his binoculars.
"You think so?, I'm not so sure-," we see the colossal titan from his perspective, its mouth open wide letting out some steam.
"-we did just watch these children bring a nation to its knees."
'Hmmm ...that's it? I can imagine why there wouldn't be any info on the founding titan. So what about my titans power? Has it always been kept by someone who rebelled against Marley?'
The scene starts with a small girl with blond hair walking in an alleyway . We can't identify her as she isn't shown clearly.
We see her come round the bend, her hair tied in two pigtails, she's wearing glasses, paired with a brown hat, a red dress, a trench coat and a brown bag slung across her shoulder.
Reiner gasps, recognising her outfit. "What's up Reiner, you know her?" Pieck asks. "It's Annie, she disguised herself to go on a mission to find out more about the walls."
The alleyway is bright but quiet and empty. Annie gasps as a hand falls on her shoulder. "Hello there miss you must be a girl of refined taste to take such an interest in this old geezer." Kenny says looking very young whiles grinning at her
Levi and Historia gasp. Levi wonders what the heck Annie is doing following Kenny.
"I was born at the Inn my mom worked at, she only met my father once, but she described him to me in detail so that I'd know you when I saw you." She lies from her teeth, her voice never wavering. We see them from a bird's eye view.
"Well ain't that a touching story if you want to give your daddy a hug then put your hands up." From his expression we can concurre he doesn't believe her.
Annie looks apprehensive. "How can you be so sure that it isn't true?"
"I made my sister a promise so this tale of yours is a joke and a shit one at that" we can see him standing behind her with both hands on her shoulder, probably squeezing them. Kenny looks a tad bit angry.
"You're so mean-" Annie says and he lets go of her shoulders.
"-DADDY." She shouts before twisting and kicking at him but missing and hitting the wall, loads of rocks from the wall flys everywhere. Kenny looks surprised as she was aiming for his face. His hat flies off in slow motion before it moves to Annie and we see her expressions full of anger she's scowling at him. His hat and glasses fly off in slow mo too. He gasps almost falling before catching himself and his hat as Annie runs off. The screen zooms in closer to Kennyas he puts on his hat he says " well damn seems you've hit your rebellious phase come back." He starts to chase after her. We see her running very quickly before the scene changes to some legs.
"Huh, what's this about?, why go so far into the past?"Louise speaks her thoughts aloud accidentally. (I totally didn't forget she was here guys (: )
The screen moves down his legs towards his body and we see that his legs are on the wall. "Huh, that's a new one. His legs are saying it'll snow today right?, yeah but his torso is saying clear skies." We can tell it's bertold their talking about sleeping without a care in the world. And it looks like Connie and Marco were the ones speaking.
"Call it hail and get moving, you'll be late for muster-" Reiner comes onto screen pushing Connie back. "Bertold wake up." He says but he looks comfortably asleep not showing a sign of waking.
Connie,Armin and Jean look at the scene,remembering the old days when things were easier.
We see some trees and then it pans down to Annie, Reiner and bert. "While you two slept like babies after playing with your friends-" Annie spits out the word friend like a deadly disease.
"-I was crawling around the capital sewers but I hit my limit, almost got caught."
"Your limit Huh" Reiner says.
"Let's cut our losses and take what we know back to Marley, at this point I bet they'll be happy to know anything." Annie tries to persuade Reiner.
"No, after five years they'll be expecting a lot more than a few scraps of information."
"Alright asshole do you have a plan?" Annie raises her head to look at him angry."
"You should have listened to Annie braun" Magath says restraining himself from saying more.
"Yeah we breach wall rose, it's the best chance we have of smoking out the founding titan." Reiner looks at her with his head raised up high, while Bert looks like he ain't even here.
"It also means killing a lot of your friends."
"I keep telling you Annie the cadets, our friends they're devil's but it can't hurt to gain their trust so I wish you'd act a little less standoffish let them think you are-" Reiner starts before he's interrupted by Annie.
'So Annie was against getting close to any of us, but in the end we still became friends' Armin thinks now understanding why she would push them away.
"I'm gonna puke, could you please move your face away from mine." On her face disgust is shown. Reiner bows down his head, sighing before standing up. "You're exhausted. I'm sorry for laying so many burdens on you Annie, let's call it a night." He says and starts walking away.
Annie gets up and starts to leave when Bert speaks, "oh yeah I keep having this dream, where I see that guy from the mountains who hung himself. The screen changes and we see some legs dangling before it showns the whole scene with people crowding a man who committed suicide. "He must have been planning to do it so why did he tell us his story?" On the man's face an expression of pain and longing can be seen. The screen blacks out before counting.
"I wonder why this scene is taking longer than the others." Porco wonders outloud.
We soon see trainees practising odm gear. One falls down and another stops to help him. We then identify them as Eren and Reiner respectively. Eren is hunched over on the floor gasping for breath. "Eren don't kill yourself take a break." Reiner says while looking at him no emotion present on his face.
"Shit hey Reiner, how'd you get so strong?" Reiner is shown to be almost looking down on him.
"What do I need to do to be like you or mikasa?" Eren says, still gasping for air.
Mikasa glances at Eren, before moving her hand to her neck to grab her scarf and pull it over her face when she realises it's not there anymore and sighs, turning her attention back to the show.
(Eren really trusted Reiner huh)
"I've got to change or I'll die without accomplishing a damn thing." Tears fall from his eyes as he speaks. When Reiner looks at Eren he sees himself and his eyes waver. The scene changes to a hand holding a bullet.
"Huh, is this from the future? Why would someone need to be loading a gun" Falco asks oblivious as everyone else while Eren blinks away the tears that suddenly pool in his eyes.
"Just do what you have to-" Reiner says and we see the bullets being loaded into the gun.
"-Keep moving forward-'' he says and the gun is loaded and ready for use. Eren looks up and looks at him as he speaks, tears still in his eyes.
'Why does it keep highlighting the gun?' Magath and Yelena wonder.
"-that's all we can do" Reiner gives Eren his hand and raises him from the ground.
"Right, thanks for the advice."
The scene shifts to the person with the gun as they put it in their mouth. Hand on the trigger. It then changes to Eren as Reiner says, "you're gonna butcher all the Titans right?, I'm sure you can do it." They now stand face to Reiner before the scene is enveloped with white light and the light it dims.
We see a window and from the light it's still daytime. We finally get the full picture, it's Reiner with a bolt action rifle in his mouth.
Gasps all around the room. "Reiner?" Gabi says looking at him tears forming in her eyes.
Everyone's attention is now to Reiner who just started violently from the feeling of the gun being in his mouth. He finally starts to calm down, getting used to the feeling.
Tears fall from Gabi, Falco and Pieck's faces,everyone else is too shocked before Connie speaks up. "Hey Reiner-" Connie calls him as he turns to look at him. Jean continues Connie's sentence. "-What gives you the right to try and commit suicide, we all literally just heard you say you were playing with our feelings, why are you suddenly trying to act guilty?" Jean gets up walking toward Reiner before being stopped by the barrier. "We lost Sasha and many others yet we keep moving forward. Who gave you permission to try and leave this shitty world?" Jean bangs his hand against the forcefield. His expression, hard and angry.
Reiner raises his head to look at them and we see his dead eyes. He looks tired and forgoes reply, just stares at them before eventually the show continues.
Everyone leaves him be seeing as some figured they might get answers if they kept watching and other figured he didn't want to talk.
He's about to pull the trigger when someone punches the wall and he stops. We see Falco on the other side of the wall, his hand and head leaning on it. "Damn it-" he says, his expression full of pain.
"Thank god for you Falco" Pieck and Gabi hug him happy that for now Reiner will keep living.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it, Reiner?" Historia asks not wanting death for him.
"-if nothing changes then" Reiner, surprised from hearing Galco's voice, takes the gun from his mouth, the tip of the gun is now covered in saliva as he coughs. We then see Falco walking away and Reiner looking at him through the window. "That's right I still have them" Reiner says ominously as Falco walks away still sad.
Reiner violently coughs like shown on screen but this time a little blood spills out and drips onto the floor. People gasp and then a box of tissues appears on the table beside Reiner. In a situation where he can't afford to be surprised, he gets some tissues to wipe the blood before putting them in the bin that appeared too. The panic that appeared in people slowly goes away as the show starts again.
Falco keeps walking slouched before stopping in the entrance of the hospital. "The hospital" he says and an injured man and nurse walk by. He turns to walk away when someone calls him so he looks back. "Hey, huh-?", we see Eren waving at him.
He's got the bandage over his eye and a crutch in his right hand as he waves with his left. A person on a wheel chair is pushed by and we notice that Falco is now sitting beside Eren.
He starts the convo. "So you're able to talk now huh, guess that means you're recovering"
"Eh, this place is for treating psychological words but mine are fake. Huh!" Falco gasps, turning to face him.
"Why pick Falco to tell this too? Did you want him to trust you or was there an even bigger ulterior motive behind it?" Porco asks the question everyone else is wondering.
Reiner and Falco avert their eyes to ground knowing if they looked at anyone questions would be directed towards them.
"I said that I forgot where I came from due to amnesia but I just don't want to go back, I'm not quite ready to face my family yet, will you report me?" Falco looks at Eren with a confused and pitiful look.
"This is all your fault Falco!" Gabi says knowing it's not true but wanting someone to point fingers at. Most people would have reported him, and without him people wouldn't have had to die…, her voice quiets down to almost a whisper but everyone can still hear her. "They wouldn't have died," Gabi says, letting the tears run down her face freely. Falco looks at her,shocked before hugging her.
"Wow, that took a turn for the worst, I'll take down the barriers, no fighting I'll give you guys a 20 minute break to process."
Most people dispersed with some eldians hanging around the edge of the room, leaving Falco and Gabi the only ones still in their seats still hugging as Falco whispers something to Gabi.
Eren pov.
I'm glad I'm out of that room it was suffocating, this is why I didn't want to stay here. Leaving the room I head outside and then decide to follow the sound of a river, as I walk I try to clear my mind and formulate a new plan as my old one is obviously going to go to hell.
Getting to the river I sit down basking in the silence and peace, I'll probably never get again.
Ugh, my hands move to my hair clenching onto it. I was prepared to die, they might have kept hating me but that would have been alright as long as they survive. As long as they got their freedom.
I've already said the unspeakable to mikasa, I beat up Armin my longest going friend, we can't possibly ever go back to how we were, I know I hurt mikasa and that's something I can never take back no matter how hard I try, those words will always linger in her mind. If all this goes according to Talia and somehow I don't die and I'm finally free to be with Μikasa,she'll always have the silver of doubt with her. I can't put her through that pain and uncertainty.
I grab a stone from beside me, throwing it with all my might before hearing a splash. I open my eyes and see red. It's blood from a fish that I unknowingly killed when throwing the stone. I stare watching as the blood spreads and contaminates everything around it. Mesmerised I watch ignoring everything around me till eventually the running water takes the blood with it. And suddenly the idea hits me.
"That's it, all this doesn't matter, once I get into contact with the founder I'll erase their memories of this place, everything we're watching then won't mess with my plan they can still be free and I'll still die. I stand happy about my new revelation before walking back to the RR, "this will solve my problems" I recite that phrase the whole way back slowly believing it.Getting there I notice more people congregating and slowly everyone is seated with chatter around the room as we all wait for it to start again.
I glance at Falco to find him still in his seat but looking happier than before we left so I smile before going back to waiting. 'Contrary to what people think I actually enjoy Falco's presence, seeing him sad makes me mad he's a good kid.'
No one pov.
"Tomorrow I'll be bringing in a new person to react with, don't overthink it you'll run yourself to the ground, okay I can see that break proved very useful to a lot of you, so let's continue watching.
"No,I wouldn't do that" Falco replies looking downcast. Eren turns to look at him and says "you're all beat up, guess that's from your warrior training?"
"Yeah but honestly it's pointless, there is another candidate who is way better than me so there's no way that I'll be chosen" he replies looking all depressed.
"I'm glad to hear it, you're a good person. I hope you'll get to live a long life." Eren says looking at the sky now.
Falco looks at him confused on why he wants him to fail, total disbelief is evident on his face. Then his expression changes. "Thing is, I don't want this other candidate to be picked."
"Why not?" Eren is confused as Falco shys away. "Is this rival of yours a girl by chance?" He finally understands.
"Wow, Eren I didn't throw it was possible for you not to be oblivious, good job." Hange says trying to lower the tension
"She's famous around here, she did incredible things in the war, ask anyone they'll tell you that she should be the next armour. It doesn't matter what I want cause I can't do a damn thing about it." As Falco speaks he turns away from Eren avoiding eye contact.
"Why do you guys trust each other so much?" Porco looks at them baffled. "Like most people would have been weary of each other but Eren just literally spilled everything on one of their first meetings." Falco and Eren look at each other before Shrugging, ending the conversation there.
They sit in silence for a few seconds before Eren talks again. "Everyday I've spent here I've wondered how did all these people let it come to this minds and bodies ruined- the camera moves to a man being pushed in a wheelchair- dreams of FREEDOM erased - a man with a bandage on his face and another sitting on the floor solemnly tapping away- personalities burned away, no one would want to go to war- a man repeatedly gently banges his head against a wall- if they knew what it would do to them, but it's not like we all left into that hell knowingly- the camera slowly pans down to what is left of his leg before moving a side view of his face- most of us were pushed, some of us were pushed by other people and some of us were pushed by the environment we grew up in."
"Reminds me of the scouts back in the day after every expedition, I mean we looked better but…" Mikasa speaks for the first time since they started reacting.

"The beast titan is more potent than ever, it's large and strong-" the man says and we see people running before rocks and other projectiles fall on them killing them instantly. "- But more importantly it can outperform an artillery unit with nothing but a fistful of rock." Zeke's titan comes up his eyes red, his back hunched over with some rocks in one of his hands. "What's more, its greatest power lies in its blood." It flashes to Zeke before more pics of documents come up.
'What we would have given to know that Zeke was of royal blood.' Magath thinks to himself.
It then abruptly changes to pieck and the cart titan.
"The cart titan's outstanding endurance makes it well suited for length missions on the field. The cart titan is shown coming out of the water decked in armour. Because it can hold its form for days on end we've enhanced it with specialised equipment." We see it open its mouth before it flashes to Pieck.
"Pieck's superior judgement will serve well here."
"Wow your government is really flawed,what assurance did you have that these kids wouldn't have killed you all when they inherited their titan powers, it is a commonly known fact that kids have minds that can easily be changed" Hange asks, directing the question at Magath.
Magath is a little reluctant before he speaks "I agree with most of what you just said, I kept asking myself the same question wondering if this was right" his voice goes a little dark before losing all emotion as he glances at Hange and Levi "But nothing to do now that was then, let's just get this over with."
It then flashes to images of bertold, his titan, and a vial of titan serum. "Finally there's the colossal titan." Ominous music keeps playing. We see a ship before seeing Bertold there is a cut on his finger and he is staring intensely at it. Lightning starts from it before growing and enveloping his whole body. An explosion cause everything to well explode with people dying, it look like an atomic bomb. We then see the collosal titan surrounded by heat. "It is a god of destruction." It then flashes to bertold. "We trust that Hoover can handle it.
Armin looks at Bertold with different emotions floating around in his eyes.
"I feel bad for those island devils those monster will appear from thin air and start killing them someday." We can now see marlian soldiers on top of a wagon.
"We've been training the members of this warrior units since they were practically infants and it's clear that they're stronger for it but why send these children to take the founding titan, frankly I think it's a bit insane." Commander Magath says the only one speaks right here. The man beside him looks into his binoculars.
"You think so?, I'm not so sure-," we see the colossal titan from his perspective, its mouth open wide letting out some steam.
"-we did just watch these children bring a nation to its knees."
'Hmmm ...that's it? I can imagine why there wouldn't be any info on the founding titan. So what about my titans power? Has it always been kept by someone who rebelled against Marley?'
The scene starts with a small girl with blond hair walking in an alleyway . We can't identify her as she isn't shown clearly.
We see her come round the bend, her hair tied in two pigtails, she's wearing glasses, paired with a brown hat, a red dress, a trench coat and a brown bag slung across her shoulder.
Reiner gasps, recognising her outfit. "What's up Reiner, you know her?" Pieck asks. "It's Annie, she disguised herself to go on a mission to find out more about the walls."
The alleyway is bright but quiet and empty. Annie gasps as a hand falls on her shoulder. "Hello there miss you must be a girl of refined taste to take such an interest in this old geezer." Kenny says looking very young whiles grinning at her
Levi and Historia gasp. Levi wonders what the heck Annie is doing following Kenny.
"I was born at the Inn my mom worked at, she only met my father once, but she described him to me in detail so that I'd know you when I saw you." She lies from her teeth, her voice never wavering. We see them from a bird's eye view.
"Well ain't that a touching story if you want to give your daddy a hug then put your hands up." From his expression we can concurre he doesn't believe her.
Annie looks apprehensive. "How can you be so sure that it isn't true?"
"I made my sister a promise so this tale of yours is a joke and a shit one at that" we can see him standing behind her with both hands on her shoulder, probably squeezing them. Kenny looks a tad bit angry.
"You're so mean-" Annie says and he lets go of her shoulders.
"-DADDY." She shouts before twisting and kicking at him but missing and hitting the wall, loads of rocks from the wall flys everywhere. Kenny looks surprised as she was aiming for his face. His hat flies off in slow motion before it moves to Annie and we see her expressions full of anger she's scowling at him. His hat and glasses fly off in slow mo too. He gasps almost falling before catching himself and his hat as Annie runs off. The screen zooms in closer to Kennyas he puts on his hat he says " well damn seems you've hit your rebellious phase come back." He starts to chase after her. We see her running very quickly before the scene changes to some legs.
"Huh, what's this about?, why go so far into the past?"Louise speaks her thoughts aloud accidentally. (I totally didn't forget she was here guys (: )
The screen moves down his legs towards his body and we see that his legs are on the wall. "Huh, that's a new one. His legs are saying it'll snow today right?, yeah but his torso is saying clear skies." We can tell it's bertold their talking about sleeping without a care in the world. And it looks like Connie and Marco were the ones speaking.
"Call it hail and get moving, you'll be late for muster-" Reiner comes onto screen pushing Connie back. "Bertold wake up." He says but he looks comfortably asleep not showing a sign or waking.
Connie,Armin and Jean look at the scene,remembering the old days when things were easier.
We see some trees and then it pans down to Annie, Reiner and bert. "While you two slept like babies after playing with your friends-" Annie spits out the word friend like a deadly disease.
"-I was crawling around the capital sewers but I hit my limit, almost got caught."
"Your limit Huh" Reiner says.
"Let's cut our losses and take what we know back to Marley, at this point I bet they'll be happy to know anything." Annie tries to persuade Reiner.
"No, after five years they'll be expecting a lot more than a few scraps of information."
"Alright asshole do you have a plan?" Annie raises her head to look at him angry."
"You should have listened to Annie braun" Magath says obviously restraining himself from saying more.
"Yeah we breach wall rose, it's the best chance we have of smoking out the founding titan." Reiner looks at her with his head raised up high, while Bert looks like he ain't even here.
"It also means killing a lot of your friends."
"I keep telling you Annie the cadets, our friends they're devil's but it can't hurt to gain their trust so I wish you'd act a little less standoffish let them think you are-" Reiner starts before he's interrupted by Annie.
'So Annie was against getting close to any of us, but in the end we still became friends' Armin thinks now understanding why she would push them away.
"I'm gonna puke, could you please move your face away from mine." On her face disgust is shown. Reiner bows down his head, sighing before standing up. "You're exhausted. I'm sorry for laying so many burdens on you Annie, let's call it a night." He says and starts walking away.
Annie gets up and starts to leave when Bert speaks, "oh yeah I keep having this dream, where I see that guy from the mountains who hung himself. The screen changes and we see some legs dangling before it showns the whole scene with people crowding a man who committed suicide. "He must have been planning to do it so why did he tell us his story?" On the man's face an expression of pain and longing can be seen. The screen blacks out before counting.
"I wonder why this scene is taking longer than the others." Porco wonders outloud.
We soon see trainees practising odm gear. One falls down and another stops to help him. We then identify them as Eren and Reiner respectively. Eren is hunched over on the floor gasping for breath. "Eren don't kill yourself take a break." Reiner says while looking at him no emotion present on his face.
"Shit hey Reiner, how'd you get so strong?" Reiner is shown to be almost looking down on him.
"What do I need to do to be like you or mikasa?" Eren says, still gasping for air.
Mikasa glances at Eren, before moving her hand to her neck to grab her scarf and pull it over her face when she realises it's not there anymore and sighs, turning her attention back to the show.
(Eren really trusted Reiner huh)
"I've got to change or I'll die without accomplishing a damn thing." Tears fall from his eyes as he speaks. When Reiner looks at Eren he sees himself and his eyes waver. The scene changes to a hand holding a bullet.
"Huh, is this from the future? Why would someone need to be loading a gun" Falco asks oblivious as everyone else while Eren blinks away the tears that suddenly pool in his eyes.
"Just do what you have to-" Reiner says and we see the bullets being loaded into the gun.
"-Keep moving forward-'' he says and the gun is loaded and ready for use. Eren looks up and looks at him as he speaks, tears still in his eyes.
'Why does it keep highlighting the gun?' Magath and Yelena wonder.
"-that's all we can do" Reiner gives Eren his hand and raises him from the ground.
"Right, thanks for the advice."
The scene shifts to the person with the gun as they put it in their mouth. Hand on the trigger. It then changes to Eren as Reiner says, "you're gonna butcher all the Titans right?, I'm sure you can do it." They now stand face to Reiner before the scene is enveloped with white light and the light it dims.
We see a window and from the light it's still daytime. We finally get the full picture, it's Reiner with a bolt action rifle in his mouth.
Gasps all around the room. "Reiner?" Gabi says looking at him tears forming in her eyes.
Everyone's attention is now to Reiner who just started violently from the feeling of the gun being in his mouth. He finally starts to calm down, getting used to the feeling.
Tears fall from Gabi, Falco and Pieck's faces,everyone else is too shocked before Connie speaks up. "Hey Reiner-" Connie calls him as he turns to look at him. Jean continues Connie's sentence. "-What gives you the right to try and commit suicide, we all literally just heard you say you were playing with our feelings, why are you suddenly trying to act guilty?" Jean gets up walking toward Reiner before being stopped by the barrier. "We lost Sasha and many others yet we keep moving forward. Who gave you permission to try and leave this shitty world?" Jean bangs his hand against the forcefield. His expression, hard and angry.
Reiner raises his head to look at them and we see his dead eyes. He looks tired and forgoes reply, just stares at them before eventually the show continues.
Everyone leaves him be seeing as some figured they might get answers if they kept watching and other figured he didn't want to talk.
He's about to pull the trigger when someone punches the wall and he stops. We see Falco on the other side of the wall, his hand and head leaning on it. "Damn it-" he says, his expression full of pain.
"Thank god for you Falco" Pieck and Gabi hug him happy that for now Reiner will keep living.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk about it, Reiner?" Historia asks not wanting death for him.
"-if nothing changes then" Reiner, surprised from hearing Galco's voice, takes the gun from his mouth, the tip of the gun is now covered in saliva as he coughs. We then see Falco walking away and Reiner looking at him through the window. "That's right I still have them" Reiner says ominously as Falco walks away still sad.
Reiner violently coughs like shown on screen but this time a little blood spills out and drips onto the floor. People gasp and then a box of tissues appears on the table beside Reiner. In a situation where he can't afford to be surprised, he gets some tissues to wipe the blood before putting them in the bin that appeared too. The panic that appeared in people slowly goes away as the show starts again.
Falco keeps walking slouched before stopping in the entrance of the hospital. "The hospital" he says and an injured man and nurse walk by. He turns to walk away when someone calls him so he looks back. "Hey, huh-?", we see Eren waving at him.
He's got the bandage over his eye and a crutch in his right hand as he waves with his left. A person on a wheel chair is pushed by and we notice that Falco is now sitting beside Eren.
He starts the convo. "So you're able to talk now huh, guess that means you're recovering"
"Eh, this place is for treating psychological words but mine are fake. Huh!" Falco gasps, turning to face him.
"Why pick Falco to tell this too? Did you want him to trust you or was there an even bigger ulterior motive behind it?" Porco asks the question everyone else is wondering.
Reiner and Falco avert their eyes to ground knowing if they looked at anyone questions would be directed towards them.
"I said that I forgot where I came from due to amnesia but I just don't want to go back, I'm not quite ready to face my family yet, will you report me?" Falco looks at Eren with a confused and pitiful look.
"This is all your fault Falco!" Gabi says knowing it's not true but wanting someone to point fingers at. Most people would have reported him, and without him people wouldn't have had to die…, her voice quiets down to almost a whisper but everyone can still hear her. "They wouldn't have died," Gabi says, letting the tears run down her face freely. Falco looks at her,shocked before hugging her.
"Wow, that took a turn for the worst, I'll take down the barriers, no fighting I'll give you guys a 20 minute break to process."
Most people dispersed with some eldians hanging around the edge of the room, leaving Falco and Gabi the only ones still in their seats still hugging as Falco whispers something to Gabi.Eren pov.
I'm glad I'm out of that room it was suffocating, this is why I didn't want to stay here. Leaving the room I head outside and then decide to follow the sound of a river, as I walk I try to clear my mind and formulate a new plan as my old one is obviously going to go to hell.
Getting to the river I sit down basking in the silence and peace, I'll probably never get again.
Ugh, my hands move to my hair clenching onto it. I was prepared to die, they might have kept hating me but that would have been alright as long as they survive. As long as they got their freedom.
I've already said the unspeakable to mikasa, I beat up Armin my longest going friend, we can't possibly ever go back to how we were, I know I hurt mikasa and that's something I can never take back no matter how hard I try, those words will always linger in her mind. If all this goes according to Talia and somehow I don't die and I'm finally free to be with Μikasa,she'll always have the silver of doubt with her. I can't put her through that pain and uncertainty.
I grab a stone from beside me, throwing it with all my might before hearing a splash. I open my eyes and see red. It's blood from a fish that I unknowingly killed when throwing the stone. I stare watching as the blood spreads and contaminates everything around it. Mesmerised I watch ignoring everything around me till eventually the running water takes the blood with it. And suddenly the idea hits me.
"That's it, all this doesn't matter, once I get into contact with the founder I'll erase their memories of this place, everything we're watching then won't mess with my plan they can still be free and I'll still die. I stand happy about my new revelation before walking back to the RR, "this will solve my problems" I recite that phrase the whole way back slowly believing it.Getting there I notice more people congregating and slowly everyone is seated with chatter around the room as we all wait for it to start again.
I glance at Falco to find him still in his seat but looking happier than before we left so I smile before going back to waiting. 'Contrary to what people think I actually enjoy Falco's presence, seeing him sad makes me mad he's a good kid.'
No one pov.
"Tomorrow I'll be bringing in a new person to react with, don't overthink it you'll run yourself to the ground, okay I can see that break proved very useful to a lot of you, so let's continue watching.
"No,I wouldn't do that" Falco replies looking downcast. Eren turns to look at him and says "you're all beat up, guess that's from your warrior training?" "Yeah but honestly it's pointless, there is another candidate who is way better than me so there's no way that I'll be chosen" he replies looking all depressed.
"I'm glad to hear it, you're a good person. I hope you'll get to live a long life." Eren says looking at the sky now.
Falco looks at him confused on why he wants him to fail, total disbelief is evident on his face. Then his expression changes. "Thing is, I don't want this other candidate to be picked."
"Why not?" Eren is confused as Falco shys away. "Is this rival of yours a girl by chance?" He finally understands.
"Wow, Eren I didn't throw it was possible for you not to be oblivious, good job." Hange says trying to lower the tension
"She's famous around here, she did incredible things in the war, ask anyone they'll tell you that she should be the next armour. It doesn't matter what I want cause I can't do a damn thing about it." As Falco speaks he turns away from Eren avoiding eye contact.
"Why do you guys trust each other so much?" Porco looks at them baffled. "Like most people would have been weary of each other but Eren just literally spilled everything on one of their first meetings." Falco and Eren look at each other before Shrugging, ending the conversation there.
They sit in silence for a few seconds before Eren talks again. "Everyday I've spent here I've wondered how did all these people let it come to this minds and bodies ruined- the camera moves to a man being pushed in a wheelchair- dreams of FREEDOM erased - a man with a bandage on his face and another sitting on the floor solemnly tapping away- personalities burned away, no one would want to go to war- a man repeatedly gently banges his head against a wall- if they knew what it would do to them, but it's not like we all left into that hell knowingly- the camera slowly pans down to what is left of his leg before moving a side view of his face- most of us were pushed, some of us were pushed by other people and some of us were pushed by the environment we grew up in."
"Reminds me of the scouts back in the day after every expedition, I mean we looked better but…" Mikasa speaks for the first time since they started reacting.
We see Falco's horrified face as he then turns to look at Eren. "So the few who do choose to leap into hell see it diffErently than the rest and they're also able to see something beyond the hell, maybe that something is hope or maybe it's just another hell, fact is you can only find out by moving forward." The camera pans to his face void but angry. Before suddenly showing to be continued...
"Which of them are you, Eren? Did you willingly jump? Were you pushed?, you classify yourself in one of those categories right?" Levi asks him, a different tone underneath his voice.
Falco is running, a smile has blossomed on his face, Eren's voice is heard in the background as Falco remembers the conversation they had. "Falco could you do me a favour?"
"Sure what do you need?" It flashes to the conversation they had as Falco was leaving.
"I want to send a letter but coming from the internment zone it will probably be checked right?" He asks.
"Wait, is that why you befriended Falco?,so he could send you a letter?" Porco asks joining the majority of the room as they get confused.
"If they see what I wrote they'd know I should be here, would you be willing to send it from outside the interment zone?"
"Sure thing" Falco replies quickly with no hesitation present.
"I know what you're going to say but Mr. Eren is actually a really nice person to talk to and he listens to everything I have to say without judging me for it." Falco looks at the Eldians, daring them to challenge him.
"Plus with him I could actually be truthful and he was too well except for not telling me who he actually was. Mr. Eren actually told me a lot about his life." Everyone is left speechless
He walks towards Eren who is holding out the letter.
"Guess this is for your family?"
"Yeah just letting them know that I'm here and that I'm alright" Falco holds the letter before it shows him in front of the mailbox smiling whilst holding the letter looking at the mailbox before the screen goes blank.
'Falco's a good kid I would have rathered not using him but it was the only way'We see the kids running, holding pistols with rugsucks on their backs. Gabi is in the lead followed by Falco, then Zofia and finally Udo in last place. Falco suddenly starts running faster and Reiner leans forward in anticipation. Falco runs past Gabi getting ahead of her. "He's winning! Falco just passed Gabi." Reiner and Colt look absolutely baffled from the balcony as everyone but Gabi cheers for Falco.
"Tsk, look at how they that one win bomb kids, ignorance really is bliss" Porco and Pieck have also now joined Reiner and Colt in watching the kids.
"But it doesn't matter how well Falco does from this point does it? I mean Gabi is so far ahead of him." Colt says and we see Falco absolutely celebrating his win.
"Wow brother, thanks for the vote of confidence." Falco looks at Colt.
"What, you know he's right, Falco don't try to deny it." Colt smiles at Falco relaxing in his chair.
"Did you see how he took off on that last stretch" Udo brags.
"Hey there kids, what's all the fuss about?" Random gatekeeper asks.
"Falco finally got the best of Gabi" Udo exclaims.
"Really you beat her grades?", "No he just out ran her in a race" Zofia answers.
"Sure but it's still a historic feat." Udo is shown clearly proud of Falco, smiles are noticeable on everyone's face except Gabi's. Falco can be seen clearly blushing.
"Hey can you cut it out, seriously it's embarrassing" Falco says, but he doesn't push Udo away
"Pretty impressive it sounds like maybe you're gonna be the next armour." The gatekeeper leans down as he speaks.
Gabi then comes on screen fuming. She hits Falco on the head. "There's no point in trying to beat me now, it's too little too late, in case you forgot I heroically defended our motherland in battle." Gabi shouts, obviously angry at Falco. Falco held his head where he was hit.
"Ah yeah I know but there's still a chance they haven't announced the successor quite yet and until they do I'll keep on working my hardest. Falco says walking ahead as they stand and stare at him with surprise on their faces.
"All right, said like a professional warrior."
"Your brother's inheriting the beast so you and your family will be made honorary Marlians no matter what you know that so why try so hard?" Gabi shouts from her position angry but also confused.
Falco stops before turning his head, blushing. "I'm doing this for you!" He shouts, turning to look at her.
"Falco," Zofia says.
"He really just up and said it" the gatekeeper says.
It zooms in on Falco who is still blushing but has a hint of anticipation on his face.
Gasp, the Eldians and Eren look at him in surprise.
'There's no way she cant get it now, he literally spelled it out for her ' they think.
"Huh, you're trying to stop me from getting what I want but you think you're doing it for me?That doesn't make any damn sense." Gabi shouts more confused than angry before Falco starts running. Everyone else facepalms while Gabi rages.
Que facepalms from the Eldians.
"Huh?!, what is that jerks problem?, hey tell me" She shouts, putting her hand on her hips as he runs away.
"Nicely done Falco" a voice says.
"It's thanks to what you said Mr. Kruger, honestly I doubt I'll catch up to Gabi no matter how hard I push myself but even so I'm gonna keep moving forward." Falco looks so happy and proud of himself. Eren still got that look in his eye.
"Did you go to him when you ran?" Pieck asks.
"Yeah I did, it was his encouragement that made me able to surpass Gabi anyway."
"I see I would still say that I'm in your debt. Thank you for delivering those letters for me. You've been a big help." Eren says and looks at him actually being genuine.
"Huh oh sure" Falco replies bashfully. The camera then pans over their knees and we notice the glove as does Falco.
"That glove did your family send it to you, they thought it would make hospital life less boring-" he puts one hand on the glove tenderly.
"How long have you been in contact with Zeke during the past four years? It seems like you only just arrived here and yet he knows where you are." Historia asks Eren, hoping for an answer.
Eren opens his mouth but says nothing before trying again. "I guess it is one of those things that Talia won't let me reveal as of now."
"-it's hard to do much in this shape but I need to move forward too, after the festival Im going back to my hometown."
"Glad to hear it," Falco says as Eren looks at the sky. He then gasps. "The doctor is coming well I should head out. He runs away quickly and as the doctor approaches.
"Would you mind if I sit next to you?" Eren turns to look at the man replying "Sure why not"
"Thanks, I appreciate it." He says.
Eren stares at the man before the man turns to look back at him and speaks.
"Grandfather?!, you did tell me you met our grandfather Eren" Zeke looks at Eren expectedly.
"I don't see why I have to report everything I do and who I meet to you Zeke." Eren says not bothering to look at him.
"But-" the TV cuts him off
"My name's Yeager, I'm an internment Zone physician. I like to come out here and drink tea from time to time."
Eren's expression has visibly changed. "Good to meet you, I'm krueger. "
"Good to meet you too, I saw you speaking with a boy just now, is he a friend?" Eren turns his head away and replies "Guess so"
"Hmm, I wonder if he could have been my friend after all I too sit here looking for someone to talk to before the eldian restorationists were caught that boys uncle was leading a leading member." Eren looks intrigued and looks at his grandfather.
"I don't get it, why do we need to watch this?" Magath asks out loud. But no one answers.
"Marley sends captured restorations straight to Paradise frequently with their families in tow in order to protect their loved ones, the boy and his brother said they wanted to become warriors and now his brother has been chosen to inherit the beast titan which means the grice family is finally safe again." We see Falco walking slowly away as he speaks.
"I know it wasn't confidential knowledge,but how come Mr. Eren's grandfather knows about it in such detail?"
Zeke answers for Eren, "Our father was the leader of the restorationists, and father told me all about his "job" so when I reported them, I told our grandparents everything, grandfather probably figured out the rest through rumours." He puts emphasis on the word job, his voice mixed with disdain.
"Hold on, why tell me all this?" Eren questions.
"So that you'll stop asking that young man to run errands for you, the grice family efforts will have been for nothing if people begin to suspect him of something illicit and if your heart and mind truly are healthy you should go back to your family now. The people you love won't always be waiting. If you take them for granted you will be left with regret." As he says this Eren and him have an intense staring battle.
A nurse points at them from a window as a doctor looks at where she's pointing.
"Will I? I see, you have regrets about your own family." Grandpa gasps looking away. Eren's voice is now completely void of any emotion.
"I'm filled with them, even now I was so hard on my son so insistent that he become a doctor-" we see Eren looking at grandpa and then it flashes to dogs eating a person.
"That's-tha-, of course you inherited dad memories you saw through his eyes." Zeke says his voice shaking easily recognising his aunt from the pictures and many many descriptions.
"-that's why he took his sister outside the walls, that's why, she-she-" Eren looks like he can't even be bothered with the man, like he doesn't care. This then flashes to three silhouettes; Grisha, Faye and Kruger with Grisha and Faye both being kids
Then he starts to panic, his breathing becoming erratic. "It's my fault, it's all my fault." He screams towards the sky, his hands pulling on his face.
Eren's like what the heck are you doing old man?, no sympathy on his face as his grandpa screams and panics.
Eren watches his expression the exact same as the one on the screen. As others start to stare appalled by the lack of sympathy and compassion shown on both Eren's faces.
"Mr yeager please don't go about unsupervised" Eren turns to look at the doctor and nurse. "Sorry about this, I only looked away for a moment. They start to bring him inside as he keeps shouting and Eren"s eyes follow them.
He then picks up the baseball and throws it up into the air. It makes a swoosh sound down and then the screen goes black.
"Well that wasn't ominous at all,'' Porco says, getting tired of watching the past.
