The slayer has spent most of his time in the fortress of doom. He had Vega keep an eye on the two teens. Some interesting things happened whilst he was gone. A group that goes by the name 'laughing coffin' which he is on his way to deal with. And then Asuna joined some high ranking guild, and Kirito was still a lone wolf type person. But right now he was helping some girl get a flower of some sorts.

/I have copied and downloaded the crucible into the game database, you may go into the armory and grab it but unfortunately you can only have either the crucible or the sentinel hammer in your inventory/ Vega said.

The slayer thought to himself, he could have a hammer that could give him both health and ammo but it is not as effective if there enemies are sparse. Or he could use the crucible and kill anything in one shot but will quickly deplete in energy if he uses it against a group. The slayer decided to use the crucible as a more of intimidation against the Laughing Coffin to scare them. He went to his armory and placed it on its stand and then grabbed the crucible and put it in his warp pack. He then walked out to the main deck and put in the coordinates of a laughing coffin hideout.

/video footage shows that Kirito has been ambushed and is about to be mugged and possibly killed/ Vega interrupted the slayer's typing.

'Damn that kid' he said in his mind. He had Vega put in the coordinates as he was faster. The slayer wondered why he was about to type in the coordinates to the Laughing Coffin hideout while he waited. Then the stairs to the portal revealed themselves as the gate formed to make the portal. He was getting real tired of his mission's getting interrupted all the time. He prepared himself as the portal opened as he got out his crucible.

Kirito pov:

He was about to walk back to town with Silica. That's when he sensed that something or someone was trying to ambush them. He stopped as did Silica, wondering what was wrong.

"I know you're there!" Kirito called out.

Silica only got more confused until a group of people came out of hiding along with a woman with red hair. This woman going by the name of Rosalia. The woman had a smug look on her face as she stared at the black swordsman and Silica. The black swordsman also had a look of confidence on him, knowing that he could beat these others in a battle. After a bit of talking, Rosalia had her henchmen attack Kirito but no matter what they did, barely a sliver of his health would disappear before regenerating to full. They looked at him in shock and fear. Even Silica was a bit surprised that Kirito just stood there and took the hits without flinching.

Slayer pov:

They were all about to retreat until a blue portal opened up behind them. They looked in confusion which then turned to fear as they saw who walked out of it. What they saw was the one thing they dreaded to see, including Kirito. Out walked the marine, the unchained predator, the scourge of hell, or the Doom slayer. He glared at the group of people who tried to mug Kirito and Silica. Everyone around was quiet like a graveyard, and still as a statue. Sweat started to roll down Kirito's head as he stared at the slayer. The slayer glared back at him for a bit but then walked up to whom he suspected was the leader of this group. He glared down at the shivering Rosalia, who looked into his darkened visor but still knew that he was glaring at him.

"I suggest you stop stealing and mugging people miss Rosalia, for there is always consequences" Vega said in his non emotional tone.

As Vega said that, the slayer brought up his doom blade and held it on her neck threateningly. This made Rosalia a bit more scared.

"I-if you kill me it'll make you a player killer" she stuttered, trying to get an advantage on the man clad in green.

The slayer didn't budge his doom blade but moved his visor closer to her face in a 'play me, I dare you' type way, his glaring eyes barely visible. This scared the red haired woman more as she stared into the wrathful eyes of the slayer.

"Ok ok ok, I'll quit I swear, just please don't kill me" Rosalia pleaded.

The slayer finally let go of her as he glared at the rest of the low lives who all took a step back in fear. But then one charged at him, overconfident in his abilities which was a mistake. He brought out his sword and swung down on the slayer. What he expected was a clean slice and the slayer shattering into shards, but that never came. Instead there was a loud clang as his sword shattered upon contact. He was stunned as he stared at the slayer whom glared at him. Then all the sudden the marine grabbed him and ripped him in half. The center part of his body a bright glowing red, pixelated texture before he shattered, dying. The unchained predator looked up and saw the muggers had fled, wanting to live. He looked at Kirito and the young girl next to them, who both looked horrified at what they witnessed, Silica being the most effected. They both flinched when he looked at them, Kirito going for his sword, preparing to defend himself. The slayer just opened the portal behind himself, turning around and walking through, leaving two shocked players behind. Then after a while, they continued their mission in resurrecting Silica's pet dragon.

The slayer had Vega enter the coordinates to a known Laughing Coffin hideout before he left the two teens. He exited the portal looking around, not seeing much signs of life except for the occasional footprint on the dusty cave ground. He followed the trail, getting out his crucible just in case of an ambush. As he walked, Vega mapped out the area as he walked, exploring the cave. He was going to hunt these bastards down for killing so many innocent players just for the fun of it.

Laughing coffin =LC:

An LC member was doing one of patrols, making sure no one found out their hideout. As he did, a blue light enveloped the cave and out came a hulking man in weird armor. He immediately hid and watched the man wander around the cave. He obviously knew the LC hideout was here, and had to be dealt with. He messaged his party who were in the main part of the base that someone has found the hideout and to warn the others. He stayed in the shadows as he stared, seeing the man hold the hilt of a sword with no blade. He smiled insanely, thinking of the good loot this man had, not knowing it was them who were going to be slaughtered... the man kept wandering the caves and by now, the rest of the hideout came and was watching the man, waiting to ambush him.

Slayer pov:

The slayer knew he was about to be ambushed, he could see them as clear as day thanks to his night vision module in his helmet. He was just waiting for everyone to come over to try to ambush him. He counted at least 21 of them. One finally shot a dark of some sorts at him but he caught it with ease. The one who shot it was shocked at the slayer catching his paralysis dart as if he was expecting it...because he was. They all finally revealed themselves and confronted the marine. They were about to have some long drawn out greeting or something but the slayer had no time for any of it. He activated the crucible, making a scene out of Star Wars as it glowed in the darkness of the cave. Everyone took a step back not expecting it but the slayer charged the first one and cut them in half from the head down. Before any of them could react, he already sliced another three in half before putting away the crucible and taking out his heavy cannon. He equipped the micro missiles and pulled the trigger, many miniature missiles tearing apart LC members and blowing them up. He had already killed nine in total in only eleven seconds. He got out his super shotgun and blasted three apart. One jumped at him but he grabbed the man by his leg and started using him as a bat. He continued his onslaught against the panicking LC members until all but one died. He looked for the last one and saw him quivering on the ground, shakily pointing a dagger at him. The slayer slowly walked up to him and slapped the dagger away. He stared into the man's eyes as he did the same. He slid his doom blade out and lopped his head off, the man shattering to shards when the head hit the ground. He was satisfied with his work and finally left after leaving the mark of the beast on the wall to signify that he was there. He opened up a portal and walked through, going to the fortress of doom and keep an eye on things. He thought about Kirito and how he reminded him of his son...back before demons. And thought about how the angels had prevented Vega from hacking into the world in which they were currently in. He looked out the bay windows towards the giant floating castle like object that was SWORD Art Online.
