Uninvited
Chapter 11 – Bonding
No one's POV
No sooner than Jade and Tori were in the car, Jade hit the gas and took off like a bat out of hell. Not even having had time to put on her seatbelt, Tori was immediately tossed toward the door as Jade zipped around a corner.
"Jade!"
"What?"
"We're going to end up in that cemetery a lot sooner than you think, if you aren't a bit more careful."
After a brief glare, Jade turned her attention to the road. "Beck criticized my driving once, I made him walk home."
"From where?"
"Long Beach!"
"That's over 30 miles!" Tori then smirked slightly. "But I know you wouldn't do that to me."
Jade looked very unimpressed with Tori's rather confident statement. "Says who?"
"Says me!"
Jade then took another turn just a bit too tight. Only this time Tori had her seat belt on. "and why is that precisely, Miss smarty pants."
Tori's smirk turned into a grin. "Well first of all, I have one distinct advantage over Beck."
"What's that?"
"You! Love me!"
"So!"
"Well, that and if I have to walk 30 miles home, I'd be really tired. So tired in fact, I'd be too tired to make love to my girlfriend for….mmm…about 3 or 4 months."
Jade quickly huffed in defeat, then muttered "Stupid love of my life, Tori. Now I have to keep her happy. That's no fair."
Upon hearing the words, love of my life, Tori instantly became giddy with excitement. "I'm the love of your life."
"and your point is?"
"You won't make me walk."
Jade quickly nodded. "I see, but the question is, are you going to continue to criticize my driving. Because, I can get tired too."
Tori's face quickly fell. "Darn!"
After a few moments of an odd silence, Jade turned on the radio and took Tori's hand. "Hey, how about Sherman Oaks Galleria. It's about 15 minutes it's decent sized, we can get something to eat and it's…"
"Private, as in far enough away so the odds of running into anyone we know, are fairly remote. Not to mention where they filmed Chopping Mall."
"Very Good. I'm impressed. Though I do hate the fact that it's been extensively remodeled since they filmed that, Fast times at Ridgemont High, Commando and a bunch of other movies. They turned it into an open mall. I so wanted to act out the kill scenes in Chopping Mall."
"Have a nice day." Tori responded by quoting the phrase the Killbots from Chopping mall, would say after every kill.
"There's hope for you yet, Vega!"
Traffic was light, so they arrived at the mall without any delay. Tori also refrained from making any further comments regarding Jade's driving.
As they parked Tori pointed to the Victoria Secret store that was right off the parking lot. "Our destination awaits."
Moments later they were entered the store and oddly enough Tori noticed that Jade's face ever so slightly lit up.
"So Jade, you said you were paying. How many do I get to buy?"
"Four."
Tori thought for a moment and then turned to Jade. "How about this. We each buy three for ourselves and one for each other."
Tori watched as a look of suspicion quickly formed on Jade's face.
"You're trying to get me into something Pink, aren't you? I see that you're not quite done with your little manipulations. My aren't you a devious little minx aren't you."
Tori quickly wrapped her arms around Jade, pulled her close and planted a kiss right on the Goth's lips.
"Actually, this wasn't planned. Just like Beck's phone call during Friday night. But when the inspiration strikes, I say go for it."
"So you're not denying it."
Tori kissed Jade again, only this time letting the kiss linger just a bit longer."
"No."
Jade quickly closed an eye for a moment and looked up at the sky. "So for arguments sake, if a certain, annoying but loveable someone were to buy me pink lingerie and I wore it, would it make that certain person happy?"
Tori couldn't help but grin. "Very much so, I think it'd would drive her wild with desire not to mention making her girlfriend look beautiful."
"Ok. Let's say that this person wore something pink in bed. Would anyone else ever hear of it? Also, she would not document it in any sort of writing or language non-English language, including Esperanto, Klingon and American Sign language. I mean taking it to the grave?"
"I'd sooner pull out my own tongue, then divulge a certain goth wore pretty pink lingerie."
"That's the spirit, Vega."
"Are you done? Can we shop now!"
"NO." Jade replied with a rather business-like expression on her face. "Would any encounter involving a piece of pink lingerie ever be photographed, filmed or represented in a drawing or any other form of artwork or any other mass media and that includes everything from online/electronic media to stick figures drawn in the dust on a dirty car?"
"A most certain NO, Jade love of my life."
"Ok finally, would this person then wear any piece of sexy lingerie or undergarment their girlfriend would buy them, without argument, hesitation or question."
Tori kissed Jade a third time, letting the kiss linger even more. "Yes"
"Of course, if she were to do any of the things I just outlined, the penalties could range from termination of the relationship, to the termination of the violator herself. Does she understand that?"
Again, Tori kissed Jade and said "Yes."
Jade stepped back and shook Tori's hand. "Deal!"
The girls then split up and each began to look at the various examples of lingerie on display. Tori quickly found a purple lace teddy that plunged down to just above her belly button. After that she became just a bit choosier as she really wanted something that would look sexy but say, I love you. Looking over, she could see Jade on the other side of the store examining something that looked black.
The Goth quickly looked up, smirked and put the black item in her shopping bag.
After about 20 more minutes, Tori found a red baby doll nighty and a knock out, pink lace-up corset piece of lingerie that she knew would have Jade drooling with desire in 5 second's flat. Then came the hard part, finding something for Jade. She wanted something that not only would be pink but would be soft and really bring out her feminine side. Something that Tori had already discovered was dying to get out. After several more minutes of searching Tori found the perfect one. It was a pink baby doll lingerie with a beautiful bow on the front.
"Perfect" Tori gasped a she couldn't wait to see Jade in this.
Just then, Jade came walking over with her bag. "So what did you get for yourself?"
Tori smiled coyly. "That is for me to know and you to find out."
"Fair enough. So what am I going to wear?"
Not quite sure how Jade would react, Tori held up the pink and rather delicate looking piece of Lingerie. In fact Tori half expected some sort of caustic comment or insult to her sense of style, causing her to be just a bit nervous.
For a moment, Jade studied it carefully, with a look of dreamlike curiosity on her face. She then reached and touched it.
"Do you like it Jade. I can get another one if you really don't like it."
"I love it" Replied Jade in a soft but tender voice.
"You do!"
Jade quickly nodded. "I really do and can't wait to wear it for you."
"I'm so glad. So what did you get me?"
Jade quickly snapped out of her reverie and pulled out a leopard print teddy and handed it to Tori. "You're a lot wilder than I thought, so I figured something more animistic to match your true self."
Jade, who herself was a bit nervous that Tori wouldn't approve, was relieved when Tori immediately squealed. "My GOD IT'S BEAUTIFUL!"
Each happy with the other's choice, the pair went to the register. As she had promised, Jade paid with a credit card.
That done, the pair grabbed some late lunch at the food court. Halfway through lunch, Tori looked at the bag from Victoria's Secret. "How about we try these out tonight."
Jade rather sadly shook her head. "Sorry, I'm not sure what you had planned for me tonight, but I have finish my paper for English. Plus some math, and the reading for Sikotwitz's class."
"What's your paper on?"
Jade answered, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "You mean there is some aspect of life which you haven't researched in your efforts to seduce me!"
"Real funny Jade!"
"I try. And for the record, the paper is on the origins of the Gothic Novel. Such as The Castle of Otranto by Horace Walpole and The Monk by Matthew Lewis." Jade then took a bite of her salad. "I can't remember if I told you. I have a doctor's appointment in the morning. Just a standard checkup. But I won't be at school until just before lunch."
"Ok"
"Question is, can you keep the secret for a few hours?"
"Of course."
"Yeah, Sure. You do realize that one word to Cat and the entire civilized world will know in about 5 minutes. Please keep that pretty mouth of yours shut until I arrive. OK."
"Kay Kay" Tori responded with a somewhat poor imitation of Cat's voice.
"I can do a lot better. That said, use that voice in bed, and you'll regret it! Back to the subject of homework, don't you have some too. I can't say you've spent much time doing it this weekend. Because…."
"I was doing you!" Tori couldn't help but laugh. "But yes, I do have some to finish."
The pair finished lunch and took time both shopping. The entire time they held hands and occasionally one would kiss the other. They did bicker and Jade was a gank at times. But Tori noticed that there was a playfulness to Jade's insults. Something that hadn't been there before.
Jade got Tori home just after 5 in the evening. As they sat in Tori's driveway, Jade pulled Tori into a deep passionate kiss.
Jade after a few moments, broke the kiss and her face took on a look of slight sadness.
"What's wrong Jade? Didn't you like spending time with me."
"It's not that, it's the fact that I can't quite help to feel like a idiot for not seeing it sooner that….."
Tori quickly cut her off with another kiss. Once the kiss was broken, Tori whispered in Jade's ear.
"I told you the other night you could have me. What's past is past. What's important is that you have me now and always will."
Jade smiled warmly, but then a look of slight seriousness came to her face. "It won't always be easy."
Tori then gently caressed Jade's face. "That's what love is all about. See you tomorrow. "
Tori got out of the car and watched Jade vanish down the street and it was both nervousness and excitement that she waited for tomorrow. Would it go as well as the weekend did, or not.
Time would tell.
Again I am glad, so many people are enjoying this story. Keep those reviews coming. I enjoy reading them.
