Chapter 14 – Letting him down easy.

No one's POV

"Shouldn't we stop her Jade?"

Jade, looking extremely annoyed, shook her head. "No, wait to she finishes, then I'll finish him off."

Andre glanced over at Cat, who was still relating the story to beck. "Jade, what you going to do about her? I'm guessing you wanted to break the news."

"You guessed correctly, I should have known that Cat would probably run off and tell. As far what I'm going to do." Jade appeared to think for a moment. "Nothing permeant, but I'll think of something."

Tori kissed Jade on the cheek. "I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunity to destroy his self-image."

Robbie looked puzzled. "Tori, you seemed like the last kind of person who'd want to see anyone's self-image destroyed. Besides, Beck's your friend."

"I'm just being supportive of my new girlfriend. Part of a healthy relationship you know. As far as Beck goes, he'll recover."

The group ate and watched Cat and Beck's conversation from their table.

"Hey Jade." Andre said between bites. "He's looking kind of mad."

Jade raised an eyebrow. "Oh Well"

A moment later, they watched at Cat finished up and walk away from a now angry looking Beck.

Jade, with a mischievous looking expression, stood up and started to walk towards beck. "That's my que folks. I'll try not to leave too much of a mess."

She then walked quickly towards Beck, who had moved to just inside the school doors.

"Hello Beck." Jade said in cheerful voice, knowing perfectly well it would antagonize him.

"Is it true!" He barked.

Keeping her tone of voice light and cheerful, Jade responded. "What's True? If you mean that bit of graffiti in the 2nd floor girls' bathroom about Ryder Daniels and Mrs. Handley the librarian, I don't know actually, but…."

Not in the mood to be patronized, Beck quickly cut her off. "You know what I mean Jade! What Cat just told me? Is it True?"

"I guess it all depends on what Cat's told you. She's not the most reliable source of information you know."

"ABOUT YOU AND TORI!" Snapped the Normally calm Canadian.

Jade's expression morphed to one of confusion, mixed with innocence. "Me and Tori what?"

"About how Tori came over on Friday and seduced you!"

A smirk quickly formed on Jade's face. "Oh, you mean that! Yes, very true. In fact Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very, Very True."

"So, when I called, you were actually doing it, WITH TORI NO LESS! DID YOU DO THAT TO FUCK WITH ME."

"No, Tori wanted to fuck with you. Answering the phone wasn't my idea. Though in retrospect, it was pretty funny. But I digress. Just for the sake of clarity, and the fact that I had no idea what Cat, said, let me fill you in."

Before a rather angry looking Beck could respond, Jade started to tell a PG-13 rated version of the weekend. She did leave out some very intimate and personal details that we're meant for her heart only. She did however, make it absolutely crystal clear that Tori got her off no less than seven times on Friday night and a few more on Saturday. She went through how Tori ditched her and essentially manipulated her into a loving relationship. Finally, Jade finished up with the events of Sunday.

All the while, she kept close attention to Beck's expression, which was a mixture of disbelief and anger.

"So that was my weekend with Tori."

"But I….I….wanted…We just broke up! I was going to try and get back togeth….how could she!"

Jade then firmed up her voice just a little bit. "Make a move on me! First of all, we didn't just break up. It was more than 6 weeks ago. I was fair game. And broken up means, I don't answer to you."

"But we!"

"We. There is no we. Not anymore"

Jade could tell Beck was rapidly getting angrier and more defensive, which didn't bother her in the slightest. In fact, she relished it.

Beck stood there for another moment fuming then suddenly bellowed. "WHAT DOES SHE HAVE THAT I DON'T HAVE"

Jade quickly laughed in his face. "You actually went there. I'm not going to answer that dumb question."

A second later, Jade's expression turned serious, as she lowered her voice. "What's Important here is that Tori, took a huge risk, I mean gigantic risk, to bring out something in me that wanted and needed to get out. Oh, don't get me wrong, this was a complete mind fuck. I work of sheer genius I might add. But here's the thing. She was right."

"But…"

"But nothing. She was right and she did it not to just get a piece of ass. She did it, because she fucking loved me." Jade let her Jaw tighten ever so slightly. "She did it she thought not only was I a lesbian, which I proudly am, but she thought I had strong feelings for her and those feelings needed to be released. As I said she was right. She was more right than I could have ever imaged! But to answer your previous question. What does Tori have that you don't have? That's easy." Jade momentarily softened her voice. "She has my heart."

Still angry and looking rather unimpressed, Beck snarled. "I still don't like what she did to you! I don't like it at all. I think her and I need…."

Beck never had a chance to finish his sentence as Jade grabbed him and shoved him hard against the wall. Then, with a look of pure rage, eyes full of fire and a voice so icy that it chilled Beck to the bone. Jade growled. "If you so much as look at Tori wrong way, I'll rip your fucking spine out!"

She held him there for a few more moments then released Beck, who now looked very stunned. In fact, Jade's reaction was so instant and fierce, that he started to shake. He quickly realized that it was game over and a single thing he could do or say would make any difference. He also realized that Jade's threat, wasn't a threat at all. Beck in fact, had been all but mentally destroyed.

He then blinked twice and with a look of defeat forming on her face mumbled. "You really do love Tori!"

Once again, Jade grabbed him and with a look even more fierce that the one Beck had seen a second ago, growled. "YOU'RE GOD DAMN RIGHT I DO!"

Jade let go of Beck, took a step back as a neutral expression formed on her face. "Are we clear?"

Beck leaned up against the wall, looking rather pale, nodded.

Jade took a deep breath and gave Beck a moment to collect what was left of his wits.

"Beck." Jade said quietly." Tori's still your friend. I'm still your friend. But Tori won my heart and that's the way it worked out. You may not like it, but you'll have to accept it. You're a great guy and I'm sure you will be very happy with someone eventually. It's just not going to be me. And I suppose I could have broken the news differently."

Beck absorbed Jade's word than, with a look of slight sadness, said. "Congratulations. I'm sorry I acted the way I did. I have to go."

Jade patted Beck on the shoulder as he turned away. "Later." Then she watched as Beck walked out of the school and towards asphalt café.

"Sure, I could have broken the news differently. I just didn't want to." Muttered the Goth, once she was sure Beck was out of earshot.

Jade then turned around to face a nearby corridor. "You can come out now Tori!"

Tori then came out of the corridor, extending her arms, looking like she was going to cry. "That was beautiful! You really love me."

Not needing any more prompting, Jade walked over and pulled Tori into a tight hug. "I meant what I said. Just don't cry. We're all good. Beck's ego has been cut down to size and he is painfully aware of the new status quo."

The pair hugged quietly for a moment. After which Tori smiled and gave Jade a soft kiss. "Thank you Jade."

"You're Very Welcome Vega."

"Do you really think Beck will be ok?"

Jade nodded. "Yeah. He'll be fine. I'm sure your sister is already trying to pick up the pieces."

Jade let Tori go and took her hand. "Come on, let's finish lunch."

"So Jade" Tori said with a seductive smile. "I hope you didn't make plans to do anything tonight."

Jade raised an eyebrow. "Why is that? Do we have plans."

"Why yes we do?"

"Doing what."

"Well, since we're and official couple, we need to officially consummate our relationship."

"Do we now? I don't know, I was going to paint my nails tonight."

Tori stopped and gently ran her hand across Jade's cheek. "Would it sound more appealing if I told you, I plan to fuck your brains out."

Jade stopped dead in her tracks and stood there with a rather dumb look on her face. After about 5 full seconds, she came back to life. "Ummm…Yeah, my nails can wait."

Tori quickly grinned. "I thought you'd see it my way. Tell you what, I'll even paint your nails. Remember, I'm a girl and I know how to do these things."

"You're killing me Vega! You're seriously killing me."

A very Jade like smirk formed on Tori's face. "Better get used to it West, cause it's going to happen a lot, and I mean a lot."
