Chapter Twenty: Making a Point
(Hamunaptra, Egypt)
(Duplicate)
"How is it going?" Danny asked as he turned from the moon to Delphine. She is the French witch that he had wanted Queen Catherine and King Henry to find. She pretended to be a sister of the Catholic church as she traveled the country and healed the sick and the injured. She would have been Sebastian's love interest until she had been killed by Cristophe. A serial killer that Queen Catherine would have been blackmailed by. He wondered if he should offer him to Archduchess Sisilia when he returned to Paris.
"The spell is finished. He is coming." Delphine said worried about the monster heading their way.
"You sure there has been no issues in the translation? I do not need a mistake made because a word in Egyptian did not translate correctly to French." Danny asked. He had the relevant pages from the book of the dead and the book of Amun-Ra copied and printed for her to read. The Jaffa had gathered the supplies that Delphine would need.
"I think I understand how the spells work." Delphine said brushing a strand of black hair behind her head. The papers in front of her were written in a way she had never seen before, but she understood the words well enough with how clear they were. Whoever wrote these spells was a genius and also a monster.
"Alright then. Make sure that you stay hidden." Danny said as he walked out of the house he had transmuted from sand. There were four Jaffa staff weapons on each side that would hopefully hide it from Imhotep's sight. Imhotep for all the danger he posed to the world was still undead and with The Book of the dead in his possession it was easy to look for a spell to call him forth.
"This will work." Qetsiyah said as she appeared next to him.
"It better." Danny said. He would prefer tossing Imhotep into a black hole to be safe, but he was unsure if it would work. Imhotep had been changed by reality warping so the only way to kill him might be the Book of Amun-Ra. Just like the Mikaelsons and the White Oak stake. Any other earth-based weapon used on them might hurt but they would heal from it.
"The circle will contain Imhotep. It will activate the moment he steps a foot inside." Qetsiyah said. She had watched as he carved the design below the sand into the rock ahead of them. The circle was a constant symbol in the Earthling's magic. It was a conduit that directed the flow of energy. The symbols that accompanied the circle added several effects to keep him bound and robbed of his powers.
Danny sat on a pillar in front of the city watching as a sandstorm approached the city. The sandstorm that raged towards him was filled with negative emotion and held very malicious intentions. It had started in Cairo and continued without a sign of stopping or slowing down. It seemed like Imhotep was not fighting the calling. He knew the spell they had used to call him and wanted the entire book.
"He is coming." Delphine said with a tone of fear in her voice.
"I can see it." Danny said. The storm that was approaching them was twisting and he could see a face that appeared through it. At this time of night, it made for an intimidating sight.
"Who are you!" Imhotep roared at the two people that were standing in front of the sacred city. He had been looking for the thieves that had woken him from his sleep so he could rise to full power. He could feel that they were alive, but it was like they were being hidden from him. This call was his first lead in a long while. The Book of the Dead had been what cursed him and so he could feel a connection to it. A connection that would last until he read the correct spell from the book.
"I am the man that is going to send you to the Other Side." Danny said as he blasted the sandstorm with arcs of lightning from his fingertips. the sandstorm to shift to glass but it broke apart and reformed back into sand and faster than he could change it. He was not blasting him with full power. He needed the mummy to move forward a bit more so the trap could activate.
"You are going to regret your foolishness." Imhotep roared as he turned back into a somewhat solid form.
'You are a just a whole new brand of ugly.' Danny thought looking at Imhotep. His face was only half-human the other looked as if his lower face were falling apart due to being a mix of wasp nest and sand cocoon. His chest had huge holes in it that rumbled with the sound of a thousand hornets.
'He is a monster.' Delphine thought as she looked at the body of Imhotep. His soul was full of hatred and torment.
'Do not worry I won't let him do anything to you.' Danny thought to her feeling her fears.
"Whatever you have prepared does not matter. You shall tell me where the thieves are hiding." Imhotep said as he fired bullets of sand at them.
"That is not going to be as easy as you imagine." Danny said causing the sand to rise up as a shield that protected him from the bullets of sand. He then broke it up into pieces and sent them flying at him at high speeds.
"You have no idea the power I have. I was high priest to the pharaoh." Imhotep said curling his hand as the sand around them began to rise to catch the broken pieces of the shield and bring them to the ground. He had studied the scrolls of Egypt. Learned the ancient spells that had helped men gain dominion over the land. No one was out of his reach.
"None of that helped you when you were captured by the Medjai." Danny taunted the man while moving backwards from the giant hand that tried to grab him. He hit Imhotep with psychic manifestations of his fists that slammed him into the ground.
"No one can halt my revenge. No one can hold me!" Imhotep roars.
"More like no one wants to." Danny taunted him. Imhotep turned backed into sand to escape his hands but the moment that it did he started punching the ground. It kept him from reforming.
"You will not stop me either." Imhotep roared as he crouched near the ground.
"It's that type of arrogance that caused you to be sealed away in the first place." Danny said with a smile. It was also why the Original was only ever sending duplicates to set foot on this planet. A clever or motivated enough witch and he could meet the same fate.
"Die." Imhotep roared as he began to rage forwards toward them but the moment, the majority of his sand flowed inside the trap the circle that had been carved into the ground beneath the sand lit up and forced Imhotep back into his somewhat human shape.
'We got him.' Danny thought to Delphine feeling her happiness.
"What in the world? Let me go!" Imhotep roared as he started punching the barrier around him as if that would do him any better.
"I will let you go the moment that I have what I need." Danny said as he walked toward Imhotep. As he stood in front of the living mummy, he started scanning sending the information to another memory cube. Imhotep was from a time before the Other Side so he could know more secrets that Qetsiyah was not aware of.
"You dare think you can enter my mind?" Imhotep asked enraged.
"It is no big struggle." Danny said. He had taken information from Setesh so taking it from Imhotep was much easier.
'Did you get what you needed?' Delphine asked him telepathically from her hidden location.
'I am done with him. Now you can send him to the other side.' Danny told Delphine.
"You cannot do this!" Imhotep roared.
"You say that, but this proves that I very much can." Danny said as Delphine began her chanting.
He could hear Delphine chanting and watched as a giant portal appeared in the air above them. Clawed hands began to appear out of the hole and pull energy from Imhotep. His skin began to dry out as he took on the appearance of a proper mummy. He lost more and more skin as he fell to his knees.
"Please do noy do this." Imhotep pleaded as he felt himself getting weaker and weaker. "I have come so close to finally getting everything that I want. All I needed was the Book of the Dead and I would have the love of my life back with me."
While his pleading was sad it was not going to cause him to stop. Eventually all that was left of him was a skull as his corpse and clothes were reduced to dust.
'What is going on?' Imhotep asked staring at his skull and what used to be hid body.
'Now you will join the rest of your people.' Qetsiyah said as she appeared next to him.
The watched as a portal appeared before Imhotep and he was pulled through it.
'Great now I can move on to my next task.' Danny thought as he took a deep breath.

Danny was watching the stars as he heard footsteps come from behind him. He was passing time while Imhotep's memories were being sorted through and edited for any important information. The memory cube would then be transmitted to the original by Jaffa.
"I hope that I am not bothering you." A voice said.
"Hello Sophie-Anne." Danny said as he turned around to see his newest servant.
"I wished to talk with you." Sophie-Anne said as she came closer to him.
"About what?" Danny asked as he turned his whole body around.
"I wish to know more about the man that has become king of the vampires." Sophie-Anne said coming closer to him.
He could tell that she was curious about something.
"I can always find time to talk with a pretty woman." Danny said as he landed on the ground.
"I find that wonderful." Sophie-Anne said.
"What do you wish to know?" Danny asked.
"I wish to know how long you intend to keep us here?" Sophie-Anne asked.
It seemed the vampires were annoyed that he had kept them locked up in the castle for the past two weeks. You would think people that had an eternity had a higher tolerance for the passage of time. He left them plenty of thing to entertain themselves with while he was busy.
"I only need to talk with certain vampires for the next two days and after that I will return your daylight amulets and let you leave." Danny said.
"Then my second question is that I wish to know what you plan to do with a vampire army?" Sophie-Anne asked as she gently moved her thumb over his palm
"It is simple. I have some tasks that I need done and I think you and your people are perfect for it." Danny said.
"You really think the other vampires will be content working for a witch?" Sophie-Anne asked. She doubted that it would be so simple given the history between the two species.
"It does not really matter what they want. They can try and fight me." Danny said. They would learn how terrible an idea that was soon enough.
"I wonder perhaps we could talk in the garden?" Sophie-Anne asked him. The moment any vampire tried to leave the castle the bracelets activated and brought them pain. They were trapped in this castle during the night and given their daylight amulets were gone they had to be especially careful during the day.
"I guess that I can make an exception for such a beautiful woman." Danny said with a smile as they started walking through the castle. Sophie-Anne seemed to be a fun person but nothing serious could happen between them. The original had promised Nirtti to never sleep with someone that had the same hair color as her current host. It was really unfortunate because both Sophie-Anne and Lenore were beautiful. If it was going to happen, they were going to have to change their hair color.
As they passed through the castle, he could hear footsteps coming their way. It sounded like it was a group of three people.
"What a wonderful surprise." Danny said as he looked upon the trinity.
"I hope that you are enjoying my castle." Tristan said with a calm tone 'This upstart dare invades his home and declare himself master of all the vampires. I want nothing more than to remove his head from his shoulders.'
"It is useful for the meeting." Danny said. He had no intention of giving the castle back to the vampire. This place could serve as a nice vacation home.
"I am glad that you are enjoying it." Tristan said.
"Good. I wish you enjoy this night." Danny said as he and Sophie-Anne started walking past them.
"May I ask what happened to the humans that were guarding this castle?" Tristan asked.
"I am afraid to say that they were all killed by my Jaffa." Danny replied as they left them behind.
"I hope you do not believe Tristan will take this so easy?" Sophie-Anne asked.
"I am aware how he feels about me. He better get over it." Danny said.
"Vampires are proud creatures. It would probably help him if you gave us back our daylight amulets." Sophie-Anne asked bringing up the subject again. 'I am going to be annoyed if I had to spend a long time avoiding open windows.'
"I have something planned that I believe will change his mind." Danny said as they walked out of the castle and into the garden.

"Your visitors are here." Reina said as she appeared through the contact orb.
"Thank you." Danny said causing the door to swing open and the female vampire walked through it. "Hello Katherine." Her birth name was Katerina Petrova but she had long since changed it.
"I am honored that you wish to talk to me." Katherine said as she curtsied before him.
He could tell that she was curious about what he wanted yet also afraid of what it could be.
"I have a task that I want you to do for me." Danny said. Katherine had spent some time in England in the 1400s. It was where she had met Niklaus and Elijah Mikaelson. Where she had almost become a sacrifice to free Niklaus from his curse. She had escaped due to tricking Trevor and forcing Rose to turn her into a vampire. She had spent the last century running from Niklaus and his anger.
"What do you wish for me to do?" Katherine asked.
"I want you to go to England and spy on Queen Elizabeth." Danny said.
"I am not sure I could do that." Katherine said.
"Nonsense I know what a great manipulator you can be when you put your mind to it." Danny said.
"What would I get in return for helping you?" Katherine asked.
"I will tell you something that you have wanted to know for over a century." Danny said.
"What?" Katherine asked curious.
"I know what happened to your daughter." Danny said and watched as her eyes widened. "Take your time to decide I have others I need to talk to." He also already had Nadia in a deep sleep so she would not ruin the surprise.
Katheirne walked out feeling a mixture of emotions.

"Let the next one in." Danny said to Raina.
Sage walked in feeling anger and annoyance. "What do you want?"
"That is rather rude." Danny said.
"You summoned me here to tell me that you are forcing me to work with you. You should not be surprised." Sage said.
"I don't know. I think we can work together very well." Danny said using his powers to pull a tangerine close to him and start peeling while floating in the air.
"What do you want?" Sage asked.
"I want you to help me control the vampires that descend from Finn's line." Danny said as while she was younger than the trinity, she is the first vampire Finn ever turned before he went into his forced sleep by the Brotherhood of the Five.
"What do I get out of this?" Sage asked. "I am not the type that does too well with order and discipline."
"In return for your help I will give you back your beloved Finn." Danny said.
"Do not threaten him!" Sage growled as her face shifted and her fangs descended.
"I am not threatening him. I made a deal with his mother to give him a life free from his coffin. Whether that life includes you or not is the question I am currently facing." Danny said as he bit one of the tangerine pieces. "Go and think on it." he waved his hand and Sage was teleported to her room because he could tell she was too focused on other thoughts to listen anymore.
Time for him to talk with Tristan and Aurora.

"So, you finally wish to talk?" Tristan asked standing beside his sister.
"I already know Lucien told you about my plans for you and I want your decision." Danny said.
"You really think that we would work with you? Trust you?" Aurora asked.
"If you want to live? Yes. I do." Danny said.
"You harm either my sister and I and every Strix vampire and with we have will rain blood down on the country of France. Whatever plans you have will end in ruin before you even get started." Tristan said.
"So, we are going to resort to threats. Good thing I had come prepared." Danny said. "Raina gather all vampires in the castle that are awake."
"What is the purpose of this?" Tristan asked.
"Something I have been waiting to do for a while." Danny said as a giant projection appeared before them. He had kidnapped a group of vampires in the castle that he knew were going to either be annoying or trouble. The group included. Aya Al-Rashid, Ann Flannigan, Don Santiago, Luis Patino, Kibwe Akinjide, Jorge Alonso de San Diego, Godbrand, and Diter Braun.
"What are you planning to do to Aya?" Tristan asked.
"Let's watch and see." Danny said with a smile. The group of vampires were placed in a simulation of the maze outside the castle. The Ha'tak ships all had a room with a projection cube. It gave him and the Jaffa the ability to be around familiar things when they got homesick or wanted an adventure. The Jaffa used it mostly for training with projected enemies or dangerous missions. Afterwards they would study what was done in both their adventure and the original and see if they could improve. They were updated every once in a while, so they would have new options to choose from.
This one was placed at the top of the dome to prevent them from getting rid of the scenery.
"What are we doing in here?" Godbrand asked.
He had teleported them while they were sleeping in their rooms. They could not leave the simulation room without his permission.
"I think that you should be less worried about where you were and more what is locked inside with you." Danny said with a smile.
"What do you mean by that?" Godbrand asked enraged.
He was whirling around as if he was a dog chasing his tail.
"You are being hunted. The creatures will follow you until they bite you and inject their venom inside you." Danny said.
"You think some poison is going to scare us. I will destroy whatever creatures you send after me." Godbrand roared.
"Do that. For any of you that are sane you should know that the venom they have is werewolf venom." Danny said and feeling the horror rising inside them. At that moment he began playing Terror Time.

"You are aware that injecting a vampire with werewolf venom will kill them?" Sophie-Anne asked as she watched the monsters hunt her fellow vampires down. She had tried her hardest to never be around a werewolf on a night when they transformed but she had read what happened to vampires that were bitten.
"I know. I also know how to cure them of it. If they are unlucky and manage to get bit, then I will wait until they get near the edge then heal them. I want all the vampire to know about the punishment that they will face if they decide to rebel." Danny said. "If they reach the end of the maze there is a room that my zombies will not follow them to. I just want to see how long it takes for them to get there."
"You know how to cure werewolf venom?" Sophie-Anne asked. She had never heard of such a thing before.
"It is not beyond me." Danny answered.
"How?" Sophie-Anne asked.
"You do not need to know. Just know that is in my possession." Danny answered. He had found out recently that Niklaus's blood could cure vampires that had been bitten by werewolves.
"You will stop this." Tristan said as he walked over to him.
"Aren't you curious about who will reach the end of the maze first?" Danny asked Tristan with a smile.
