Chapter Twenty-Four: Ambush

(Space)

(Original Danny)

"So how are the new additions doing?" Danny asked the holographic projection of Nirtti. Using the station that The Foreign One had given them in the briefcase they were able to combine the blood samples given to them and create people. He was too busy driving Marduk crazy for him to pay any special attention to the samples he had been given by The Foreign One so he let Nirtti take over observation and experimentation

"They appear to be stable and with no deformities." Nirtti responded.

"I am tempted to accelerate their growth with the nanobots that they had taken from Pelops"

"You made me a promise." Danny were still studying the nanites so that they could control the rate of growth for the subjects involved. She only had twenty of each race as a control group.

"Have you kept them together on one planet or spread them through the kingdom?" Danny asked wondering how she was studying them.

"I have spread them out through the kingdom. I want to see how they react to different areas." Nirtti said. She had spread the infants to different planets through their kingdom.

"Who is watching over them?" Danny asked.

"I gave the infants to different families." Nirtti said.

"Did you give them to humans or Jaffa?" Danny asked.

"One third of the families are pure Jaffa, another third are humans, and the last third are a mixture of the two." Nirtti answered.

"They are going to treat them like actual members of their families, right?" Danny asked.

"That is not a concern of mine. Those who can survive to adulthood will. Those who cannot were just unfortunate and weak." Nirtti answered. She did not see anything wrong with the possibility. That was how Goa'uld lived. Those that were skilled and cunning managed to survive and the ones that were weak died off.

"That is such a sith mindset." Danny muttered to himself.

"I do not understand the reference." Nirtti said.

"I did not expect that you would." Danny said as he shook himself free of the original's and Vlad's memories. "I want all those families to know that if the mistreat those infants that they will be punished under the king's justice."

"I will have my prime spread the word." Nirtti said. She did not care much either way but if Danny wanted it then she would try her best.

"Which species are you looking most forward to right now?" Danny asked already knowing that from the information Nirtti was given that she would pick a favorite species.

"My major interest in the current groups right now are the Tamaraneans." Nirtti said. The reason being their biology allowed them to sustain and propel themselves through the vacuum of space with nothing but the desire. She could travel through her kingdom with no need for the Chappa'ai or Ha'tak.

"Not the psychics?" Danny asked. The Vulcan, The Mimbari, and The Romulans all held potential to develop telepathic abilities and he knew that Nirtti had been researching that for centuries.

"I am glad to get subjects with the ability, but I want to understand Tamaranean biology first." Nirtti said. Her long-term goal was to create a hybrid host body with the ability to survive space and to read minds. With such gifts it would be easy to find her enemies and crush them.

"I wish you luck." Danny said.

"How are your efforts going?" Nirtti asked.

"I am going to be attacking some of Marduk's palaces in a few hours." Danny said.

"There is something that I want." Nirtti said.

"What do you mean?" Danny asked her. Had Kali and Amaterasu come to her with some new sort of demand? They should be happy with what he has done so far. This was supposed to be his vacation. They should just hurry up and convince Ra to do something about Marduk.

"I want children." Nirtti said

He had to be hearing things.

"Could you repeat that?" Danny asked feeling a deep sense of horror in his soul. It was not showing on his face, but his brain felt like it had been shattered into millions of pieces and those pieces were scattered to the four winds.

"I told you that I want the two of us to have children." Nirtti said not asking of his opinion but informing him of her decision.

'What the hell?" Danny thought wondering what sort of madness was Nirtti going through now.

"I thought it was forbidden by Ra for Goa'ulds to reproduce unless you held the rank of queen?" Danny asked. The only way that it was possible for them to claim the rank was for them to rise to System Lord or marry one that was. She was no longer a System Lord, and she was not married. She was creating a major risk by ignoring Ra's rules. It would take little to incite his wrath. Kali and Amatreasu would offer no help despite the work he had done for them. He also wondered why she was getting him involved in this mess. Goa'uld queens reproduce asexually. It was forbidden for Goa'uld queens to reproduce with another participant involved.

"I want the children to be a part of you and a part of my next host." Nirtti said. She was getting tired of this body and wanted a new one.

This was way worse than he thought it was. She wanted to knowingly create a Harcesis. A half Human/Lantean child with the inherited genetic memories of both parents. That would be plague on the universe and beyond. The both of them had caused so much death and destruction the probability of their kids being harmless were near zero.

"They would all hunt us down." Danny said trying to get Nirtti to see reason.

"I do not plan to let the child inherit either of our memories." Nirtti said.

"What do you mean?" Danny asked wondering how Nirtti planned to take alter her species' biology.

"It is why I wanted the cloning technology. You give me a sample of your D.N.A. and I will use a sample from a woman I plan to take as a host." Nirtti said. This body had already been compromised. Her technology would not work for her unless it had.

"So, you intend to use my blood to create this child?" Danny asked wondering how he got so trapped. For the past three hundred years he had been really careful making sure to never let her be able to get a sample from him. Not even taking the chance of impregnating the women he slept with. It was funny that despite all of his efforts that this was the destination that he arrived at.

"You do want to save your species, correct?" Nirtti asked him. She knew that he was the only one still left in the galaxy. The only remains of his people were the technology that they had left behind.

'Most of my people are energy clouds.' Danny thought to himself but sighed all the same. He had little choice. Refuse Nirtti and this could all come crashing down. He was not ready to leave his new home yet. He had put too much effort into it and was not anywhere near finished.

"Very well." Danny said feeling like he was being stabbed in the back by the sword of Tel'chak over and over again.

"I knew you would love the idea. Send the samples soon." Nirtti said just imagining how powerful their family would be. No other Goa'uld would be able to stand up to them. They would also lack the treacherous nature her kind cultivated. They could control the Jaffa and keep all of their slaves in line.

"Fien but remember our promise. No cloning me." Danny said as he ended the transmission.

He looked to his bed to see that Ilithyia was asleep.

He wondered how his duplicates were doing on the planet and hoped that they were having a better time than him.

(Karasumori, Japan)

(Eastern Duplicate)

Danny sat on a boat as he enjoyed the rocking off the waves. Covering his white hair was a straw hat that he had bought from a nice little village girl. He wished that the sakura trees were in bloom right now to add to the scenery, but he would just enjoy the peace. It seemed that the Western Duplicate had his hands full with all kinds of trouble.

'Thanks a lot.' The western Duplicate thought to him in annoyance.

Danny eyes widened when he saw that archers were standing on the bridge holding flame tipped arrows pointed at him. "What is going on?" This was a rather rude welcoming for someone just coming to visit.

"Do not pretend to be confused creature." Jin said with his voice being amplified by magic. "Destruction follows your path." He may have not known what sort of creature this was, but the stars and the spirits told them that it brought nothing good. If left to roam free he would bring death and chaos more so than any of the other warlords trying to unify the country or demons attacking villages.

"I just wish to talk with the witches of the east." Danny said looking at the archers surrounding him.

"What you want is not something this country needs." Jin said. The spirits of the other side told him that what this being wanted was to conquer everything. he manipulated the living and the dead for his goals without a care for the damage that he would cause.

"Who are you?" Danny asked.

"I am Jin Ohtomo head priest of Tokyo and I am here to vanquish you." Jin said as the archers fired their arrows at the creature below them.

"You are going to regret that." Danny said as he jumped from the boat and landed on one of the poles of the bridge.

"You underestimate humans' creature. We will not let ourselves be corrupted so easily." Jin said as the archers started firing at the invader.

"Since you can't be reasoned with, I guess then my only option is violence." Danny said as he created a barrier around him that caused the arrows to break and fall.

"Violence is second nature to a creature such as you." Jin said as he got ready for this fight. He was wary for whatever may happen. This was the creature he had been dreading in his dreams for months. The face he could never remove despite the spells and charms he tried.

"I hope you keep your morals on the Other Side." Danny said as he opened his palm and released a large amount of green fire towards the witch and his reinforcements. The baseline humans ran out of the way and tried jumping into the river to avoid the fire. Jin stood still protected by some kind of barrier. "If you care about this region so much you should do something before, I burn it to the ground." He flew into the air and in direction of the village. The people stopped and stared at the sight until he began to alter the sunny weather, they had. Blue lighting struck the ground and set fire to the houses made of straw and wood.

He caused sinkholes to open in the earth and scare off farm animals and horses. The people ran around in a panic taking whatever they could take hold in their hands. For some it was people, for others it was their valuable possessions.

"Principle of rivalry water vanquishes fire. Order!" Jin yelled using his talismans to conjure a water strong enough to purify this evil fire. The talismans that were flying in the air began to pour out water on the same level as a flood.

"The principle of rivalry huh." Danny said. Through Qetsiyah's knowledge he had studied the magic of the east. He knew how to counter this. "Have some lighting." A snake of lighting began traveling through the small river of water that was reaching up to their ankles.

"Principle of rivalry the wind scatters the lightning. Order." Jin said as he caused a tornado that sent the lightning snake flying into the sky.

"Not bad." Danny said as he started levitating rocks and sent them flying towards Jin.

"Do you feel nothing for the people that you have terrorized?" Jin asked.

"I just wanted to visit this land. You are the one that attacked me." Danny said firing off a blast of lighting from his hands that sent Jin skidding back.

"I will make you pay for every bit of damage you have done to this world." Jin said pulling out something from his white cloak.

"What is that?" Danny asked.

"This is retribution for everyone you have ever hurt. Ohm Marishi eso aka." Jin said as he scattered ripped up talismans from his cloak.

"What is that supposed to do?" Danny asked.

"You will see. God of the eastern sea, Amei. God of the western sea, Shukuryou. God of the southern sea, Kyojou. God of the northern sea, Gukyou. Gods of the seven seas, fend off a hundred demons and drive back the fierce disaster. - Order!" Jin said as a pentagram appeared between them with the talismans involved each glowing a different color. East was green, west was blue, south was orange, north was yellow, and the last was purple. It was a shield to protect him from what was coming next and a way to destroy him if his curse did not work. "By the green of these bamboo leaves, with their withering, the withering of the green! And with the ebb and flow of these tides, so shall you ebb and flow! And with the sinking of these rocks, be engulfed!" and watched as a cage formed around the invader.

'This is not going to happen.' Danny thought to himself as he felt the rise of energy in the cage around him. Whatever this was it was not a good thing and so he was going to avoid it. He opened a portal to the ghost zone and fell through escaping the cage. He returned to the earth to find that where he was standing there was a huge crater.

"Wow." Danny said looking at what Jin planned to do to him.

"How did you escape my cage?" Jin asked as he turned around to face the invader.

"You have no need to worry about that." Danny said pointing at Jin and firing a laser that went through his chest. The man fell down with a look of shock on his face.

It seems that he was going to have else to talk to Shigemori about.
