With ease they made it through the flowers and on the other side of them was beautiful landscape further out from them was a large building that looked like an observatory. Vexen remarked that this was the place the were looking for. However he warned of the area ahead.

"This place is full of pit falls and has very slippery ground be very careful", Vexen continued.

Zexion looked out at the area and admired the view.

"You see this Vex? I don't think I've seen a more pretty looking area. Before I want to burn it down with flames hotter than Axel's we should enjoy the moment don't ya think", Zexion rambled.

Vexen rolled his eyes and reminded him that he has more than just the princess now to be figuring out. Zexion huffed exhausted. They moved on through zipping down vines, slipping and sliding on mossy structures. The two came to a cove like structure that echoed with every step. Zexion marveled at the echo so he found a flat platform and took this time to play with the echo. He deepened his voice and tried to do a poor imitation of Xemnas.

"Today's meeting will be talking about how I have a boner for keyblades and to nobody's surprise Saix is my bottom bitch. In other news Zexion is the best member in the organization and everyone should be like him", Zexion mocked.

Vexen gazed at him unimpressed, "are you quite done superior book worm."

All that echoed was the falls and dripping water as the young nobody looked at the old fox and huffed.

"Even with a heart you still suck the joy out of a good joke", Zexion droned.

As they continued on, water that lay on moss covered platforms that made it nearly impossible to get across safely. The two almost fell from most of the platforms they reached from then on. Even the vines were wet and slippery to the touch. Zexion's moves had to be fast and precise. They finally came to an area that was not as slippery as the rest of the cove and caught their breath from what was to come. Eventually they made out and to the base of the falls. Both gave a hard swallow as they looked at all the moving parts they had to climb and traverse.

"Zexion be extremely careful one wrong move and it's lights out for everyone", Vexen said shaking.

Zexion looked over his obstacle course and choked back a new found fear as he jumped to the first ledge.

"See not that bad", he said with empty hope.

Vexen wanted to remark but knew any lack of confidence could be the end both of them. Little by little, he jumped moss covered platforms and timed pieces of moving parts. Some platforms came strait out of the water making them nearly impossible to stay on for to long. Other times Zexion thought that it was all over due to some bad footing or wrong judgement. However he found himself to be pushed onto the next platform as if something or someone was looking out for them. Soon enough At the top land was seen just ahead. Vexen leaped off Zexion to quickly get to it. There on Terra-firma he became human and waited for him. Zexion got to over confident and on one of the last platforms slipped. It was sudden; he felt his body become weightless as he stared to fall. A million thoughts rushed thorough his head. He was wondering what was going to happen to him. Thoughts of what would become of Ienzo and Tak rushed through is mind. He was numb to everything except to the water that sprinkled on him which felt like daggers. Time Seemed to stand still has he felt gravity take over. Just then he felt a hand curl around his wrist and a shrill yell come from above him. "

YOU IDIOT", Vexen shrieked as he held Zexion.

Vexen pulled him up and without hesitation open palm smacked Zexion with all his worth. Vexen's face was red as he was very upset with what the young man had just done. Zexion touched his hand to the burning red spot on his face and looked blankly up at the man who smacked him stupid. Vexen could barely catch his breath as his blood boiled.

"I TOLD YOU TO BE CAREFUL YOU BLITHERING FOOL", Vexen shouted.

The red mark on Zexion's face stared to welt. He couldn't speak on the matter as Vexen looked at him for some sort of response. He just held the part of his face that inflated and stung as he walked beyond his friend. Vexen tried to compose himself as he followed him. It took a moment but Vexen finally cooled down from the event. He trotted up behind Zexion and placed his hand on his shoulder softly. Zexion stopped abruptly and turned still holding his welted cheek. His eyes were more dead than anything Vexen was expecting.

"Look I'm sorry Zexion I shouldn't have struck you like that... that was rash of me", he apologized.

Zexion pulled away from him and finally responded to him.

"The way you hit me was uncalled for. But I understand why you acted the way you did. It's been a while since we had hearts so I guess It's hard to keep are emotions in check", Zexion huffed.

He then continued, "That doesn't excuse you striking me. I'll let it go and except your apology but don't touch me like that again. I'm not a little boy anymore for you to do that to", Zexion finished stern.

After they came to an understanding from their confrontation both moved on. An intercom not very far away from where they were came into view. Rubbing his welted cheek Zexion let Vexen use the intercom. He pressed the button and spoke.

"Hello", Vexen said as polite as he could.

"Hel-hello, yes is anybody there", a distressed older man's voice came through the speaker.

"Yes I'm Vexen and with me is my friend Zexion we need your help with something in the dream world. I was told you were the one to come to", Vexen explained.

The man returned on the speaker.

"Only if you help me. They're attacking me... I think one of them wants to eat my face off. Please come quick I'll sent a lift.", The man signed off abruptly.

The two nobodies looked at each other is confusion and concern. A noise caught their attention. A large bucket like elevator came down to take them to the observatory. As they got in Zexion took his hand from his face as the swelling started to go away.
