A/N Hi I don't own Supergirl. Please enjoy!

Note: This story is something I have had dreams about. It is quite literally a dream made reality so I hope you enjoy it. It might not be very long, but I am editing the next chapter as you read.

To my first reviewer,

Gladly! Enjoy

Lex was falling. The helicopter documented every torturous moment for Lena. She saw him hit the ground. The soundwave followed and a solitary tear fell, but Lena couldn't look away. There was a crater, and at the center of the rubble was Lex, his facemask shattered, his arm twisted in an unnatural angle. Amongst the rubble was Kal-El. He began to rise slowly. The Man of Steel turned to the tower, looking right at Lena.

Lena watched from the skyscraper in Luthorcorp as a large alien craft came down from the heavens. She couldn't believe it. Most Kryptonians tended to shy from Earth. They communicated almost exclusively by hologram transmissions. Kal-El was the exception, and he almost died because of it. A smaller pod seemed to emerge from the hull itself and began its descent, landing directly in front of Luthorcorp. Lena almost spat out her bourbon when the Kryptonian took flight, landing directly on the balcony. The man stood at a menacing 6'7" at least. He was tall, and impressively muscular.

"Lena Luthor. The crimes committed by your brother, Lex Luthor, have resulted in a diplomatic discrepancy. The attempted assassination of Prince Kal-El is one of the highest offenses. Under Kryptonian Law, this would be punishable by death. However, since you are not the perpetrator of the crime, your punishment will be less severe. You must come with me. This is not a request. If you refuse, you are to be put to death, effective immediately." Lena swallowed thickly.

"How…how will I produce an heir with Princess Zor-El, your Majesty?" Lena stuttered. The Queen quirked a finely trimmed eyebrow. Lena was at a loss for words and it seemed the Princess was too. She could only stare at the kneeling Lena.

"You do know how reproduction works on Krypton, no?" No. Obviously not, Your Royal Pain in the Ass. Lena bit the inside of her cheek to avoid her retort.

"Well, your silence speaks volumes." she began to pace a circle around the human, stopping when she stood behind her. "Nonetheless, I will tell you. On Krypton, we can take the DNA of the two prospective parents. We return them to the beginning, reverting them back into STEM cells, I believe is what you Terrans call it. At this stage, we rewrite the genetic code, turning one sample into male reproductive cells, and the other into female. It is much easier when the parents are the opposite sex. Yours would have to be the egg. I'm afraid your…Terran DNA will not be able to breach the wall of a Kryptonian egg. I would have selected Kal-El, but he adamantly refused. It is the right of every Kryptonian to deny a match." Lena, despite being fascinated, heard the gib and scowled, luckily the Queen didn't see. The Queen Bitch tried to subtly throw in "the right of every Kryptonian" as if her rights as a human mattered less. If there is one thing that Lena had learned with her time on Krypton, it was that everything Kryptonians did, was for the good of Krypton. Most interstellar affairs were no concern of theirs. Selfish pricks.

"And you said I wouldn't live if I refused?" Silence was her reward. Lena turned her focus to the princess. "What if the Princess refuses?" The Queen came back around to face Lena.

"You would be forced into the Labor Guild, perhaps mining precious resources until you take your very last breath." She motioned for Lena to rise to her feet. Once her feet were firmly planted under her, the queen leaned in close next to her ear.

"But my sweet Daughter, would never let such a fate befall you. She has the heart of a hero." she whispered. She pulled back, her dark brown eyes bore holes into her green ones. Lena refused to break eye contact first. The Princess cleared her throat, turning to her cousin who at this moment was silent. His steely blue eyes did not move from Lena. He awaited the verdict. Kal was good, despite his upsetting experience on Earth. It wasn't his fault that Lex Luthor felt threatened just as much as it wasn't Lena's fault that her brother decided to attack him.

A pregnant pause followed. Lena bowed her head in obvious defeat. If one did not accept the match, it would be certain death. Lena wouldn't be able to keep up with Kryptonian mining. She knew that. Kryptonians were accustomed to their atmosphere. The gravity was stronger, which would be a significant disadvantage for Lena.

"I would like your answer, Terran. Preferably in this millennium?" she could feel her shoulders sag.

"I accept this match, your Majesty, for the good of Krypton." she answered somewhat sarcastically. Lena turned her green eyes to the deep blue pair of the Princess. To her relief, the Princess nodded, though she did not smile.

"I accept this match, Mother. Despite the ultimatum." she replied. Kal-El's head snapped in her direction. His blue eyes widened in surprise.

"Kara, you cannot! Her brother almost killed me." At this point, Lena couldn't remain quiet. She cut the princess off before she could even dignify him a reply.

"Your Highness, excuse my interruption. I was under the assumption that Princess Zor-El outranks you. She can make her own decisions. I am a Luthor yes, but I am not Lex. If you read my file, hell even my dissertation that I cannot even finish seeing how I am your prisoner, you would know my ultimate goal was curing cancer. All cancer. I have nothing to do with that suit he made. I should be the one outraged. You killed him. The last of my family died and no one has asked me how I feel!" Her chest heaved, all her emotions spilling out. The Queen's nostrils flared in annoyance and she was certain the Kryptonian would kill her slowly at any moment but then the Princess jumped to her feet. She flashed Lena a quick smile before turning to Kal-El. He stood too, standing close enough to Kara that she could smell his cologne. A Terran habit.

"Do not start. Let your argument die here and now. She is right. Despite his deplorable actions, Lex Luthor was her family. She hasn't had time to grieve." she paused, turning to Gin-Ze.

"Gin-Ze, please take Lena Luthor to my chambers…and Gin? Not a whisper." she hissed, her threat from a few days ago still fresh on his mind. With a low bow he motioned for Lena to follow. Before the door behind her rematerialized, Lena took one last look at the blonde. The way her jaw was set and her eyes flashed dangerously. She's quite scary and intimidating. A terrifying beauty. The door solidified, sealing their fate and separation.

Kara…What a beautiful name.

Lena froze, watching the helicopter footage. Lex seems to be winning. But Kal-El gained the upper hand. She watched him pummel her brother an inch from death before he came crashing down. Kal-El let him fall. No, he is falling too. No, it's not Lex anymore. Lena is falling. She is falling, her body spinning out of control, a ringing sound in her ears. No...a chime? Kal-El seemed to be gaining some control over his rapid descent. The ground was closing in and Lena crossed her arms over her face just before impact.

Lena awoke with a jolt to a Kelex unit chiming. Her first instinct was to run from her unfamiliar surroundings. It took a moment for her to realize she had fallen asleep on what she can describe as a sofa in the Princess' spacious chambers. The bed felt far too intimate and personal. Lena didn't know the protocol for this. Do they share a bed? Do they not? If they do, what is expected? Can Kryptonians even have sex? Oh god what if they don't have sex? Lena might self combust. She didn't know how she was to survive a marriage to the hottest, sexiest Kryptonian without sex. She buried her face in the cushion and groaned.

"If I was unsure you were overthinking, I certainly know now." Lena froze, her right hand halfway across her face from a feeble attempt to brush the hair from her eyes. The Kryptonian accent was unmistakable. Lena nearly fell trying to get to her feet to bow, but her body decided to stop working. Oh. My. God. The Princess was dressed in a pair of soft pants, with nothing but a wrap around her chest. Her hair was normally pinned in a tight, low bun at the base of her neck, but now it flowed freely in soft golden curls down her back. Lena's eyes drank in her appearance greedily, unconsciously flicking her tongue to wet her lower lip. It was incredibly arousing to see the relaxed version of the Princess. Kara noted the action, and if Lena were optimistic, she would swear the Kryptonian's pupils dilated. But she's not. So they didn't.

"I'm sorry, Princess. I didn't mean to fall asleep." Kara dismissed her with a wave of her hand.

"You are my betrothed, please stop calling me Princess. Kara is more than acceptable." Fuck. Her betrothed? Lena just wanted to combust now, not later. "Why did you sleep on that?" she pointed a long index finger at the couch she occupied. "The bed is more comfortable. I do not mind. Unless you do…?" she trailed off, looking expectantly at Lena.

"It felt too…personal Prince- Kara." Kara's cheeks dusted a light pink. Why? This is simply a business transaction. Her life for an heir. Right?

"Well, in the future you are more than welcome to it. It is dinner time, would you like a meal brought here? Kal-El is busy pouting like a child. I swear he acts like a toddler most days." Kara said with a faint smile. "It is probably best we avoid having dinner with him." Lena frowned as Kara pulled her top over her head, effectively hiding her torso. The Coat of Arms ; the 'S' on display over her left breast. Lena approached slowly, her hand outstretched. She touched the S with her finger, tracing it gently, as if her touch would shatter her like glass. This was the closest either of them had been ever, and the dark haired woman swore she heard the blonde swallow hard.

"What does it mean?" she whispered. Kara took her hand, flattening against the symbol.

"El Mayarah. It means… "Stronger Together." she answered softly, looking down at the shorter woman. Lena never realized how tall she was. Kal-El was over six feet. Kara had to have been over 5'7".

"We will figure this out together, Lena. We are stronger together." And Lena believed her. They would navigate this uncharted territory. Together.
