/Bleh/ Naruto talking to Kyuubi mentally
Naruto's felt a rush of adrenaline fill his entire body it was exhilarating. Did he really just kiss the outsider? Who cares! He felt like he could soar far above the clouds, and then Kyuubi had to go and ruin it.
/I don't understand why you would do something so rash and so stupid. Foolish boy, you put us all in jeopardy/ Growled Kyuubi the blonde could feel the disapproval overwhelming him.
/It was the only way… They were going to kill him/ He countered.
/That's how it should be Kit! Not under any circumstances should an outsider know about this place! He is not supposed to be here. Konoha is hidden for a reason./
Naruto scoffed / I know that! /
/Well, just so you know this impulsive behavior of yours has consequences. You may not grasp it now because you are still too young to comprehend, but you will see, Kit. Now you are bound by the decision you make. /
And with that said Naruto was jerked harshly from his mind link with Kyuubi-no-Kitsune, as he was hurriedly escorted by two Shinobi. Kyuubi's words echoed eerily in the back of his mind. He chose to pay it no mind for now.
Tactfully, Kakashi had slipped in telling the two Chunin that he would take custody from there on. At first, the two were taken aback by being ambushed, but they quickly recovered and respectfully bow to their superior before leaving.
"So, that was some stunt you pulled," The platinum-haired man teased. He had a mischievous glint in his eye that did not have a scar over it.
The blonde smirked, "Do you honestly believe I would have kept quiet otherwise."
"True, though you know now Tsunade is about to tear you a new one for outright disobedience," If Kakashi's nose and mouth had not been covered then Naruto would have seen that smug grin on the man's pale features.
"I'm not afraid of Tsunade-baa-chan. I'll punch her in the right tit if I have to," He began to stretch before clasping both hands behind his head. He hoped this action would help hide his jitters.
Curiously, Naruto had stopped and directed his gaze at the group that appeared to have been growing even larger in size. He saw them escorting the ebony-haired individual in the opposite direction.
"No worries loverboy they won't harm him," Kakashi playfully teased, while gently nudging Naruto's in his side with an elbow.
"Loverboy," he echoed as the bridge of his nose scrunched up.
"Well, he is your mate after all," This time Kakashi was studying the teen's face with a keen eye.
"I guess," The blonde said with a slight frown. It appeared to be a change of topic was in store.
"Hey, Kakashi race yah there," and with that, the blonde had darted off in a beeline before abruptly turning a corner.
Kakashi sighed. He was in no mood to race. So leisurely he kept his normal pace. He even whipped out his favorite novel Ichi Ichi Paradise. The platinum blonde was ready to finish a new chapter that was until he realized his mistake. The Hokage tower was straight ahead, also once he around the corner Naruto was nowhere in sight.
Kakashi knew where he was heading the outsider was like a shiny new toy that the blonde wanted to explore.
I'll give him five minutes. Naruto may be clever, but Kakashi's specialty was finding things and certain little brats.
Sasuke sat with his elbows resting on his bent knees while his pale digits had been entwined together over the bridge of his nose. He had been sitting in what appeared to be a dining room for what felt like hours, though it had only been a few minutes.
He wasn't alone as another roll of shy giggles echoed from the other side of a rice paper door. Every now and then the door would slide open and two girls would peek their heads through to sneak a lust-filled glimpse at him, before giggling and retreating back behind the protection of their precious door.
Fortunately, the stunning Jutsu had worn off by now, so he was back to functioning at one hundred percent again.
Although Sasuke faulted the urge to use his Katon-Kyuuka-no-Jutsu on the girls. It might not go over so well with the village if he did so.
Abruptly, the giggles ceased and he could hear the girls addressing someone by the name of Uzumaki-sama before he heard their hurry footsteps ebb away, and once again that same damn rice paper door was slid open, but this time with a lot more force than needed.
"Hello," greeted the feral-looking boy.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki just in case you haven't heard of me already."
At first, Sasuke had sat there and observed the youth briefly, so this was who the villagers were calling out to this was the high-ranking Shinobi this kid. He had another thing coming if Uzumaki believed he would address him as such, and the ebony-haired Uchiha had jerked his head to the side a sure sign that he wanted to be left alone.
Naruto had looked chest fallen at the rejection. He stood there for a moment staring at his sandals unsure of what to do next.
Mentally, Sasuke groaned as he found himself replying to the youth, "Uchiha Sasuke." He could at least be civil to the brat who saved his life.
The blonde had recovered a little too quickly for Sasuke's liking and this told him that perhaps the boy was used to getting his way.
"I'm actually not supposed to be here. Not until Tsunade-baa-chan finishes her interrogation with you and they deem you unproblematic," He shrugged.
"-But I just couldn't help myself. You're the first real outsider! I have so many questions!" The blonde had plopped down beside Sasuke disregarding his personal space completely.
Those bright cobalt pools were transfixed on the older teen they also gleamed with unsheathed curiosity. The ex-Uchiha heir had leaned away from the blonde to create more space this had backfired because soon after Naruto pressed against him again. The raven sighed in defeat that was until a particular thought surfaced, for a moment, maybe, he could get some answers of his own.
"First answer my question." He paused to find out if the blonde would protest but instead he was greeted with a brilliant smile and a nod. "Where am I?"
"Konoha Village of the Hidden Leaf," Naruto answered in a matter-of-fact way. He failed to notice that the raven's eyes had widened. If this is, in fact, the actual Village of the Hidden leaf then does that mean… No, it couldn't be. This was just a myth the elders told us.
"Prove it," he spoke evenly.
Naruto's face had changed somehow. He looked determined to prove Sasuke's challenge, and with that Naruto moved from his spot until he was standing directly in front of the attractive teen. Slowly, he lifted his shirt up to unveil a sun-kissed abdominal region. At first, Sasuke was confused by this odd gesture until he noticed the prominent tattoo that swirled around the blonde's navel.
"I am Uzumaki Naruto the vessel to Kyuubi-No-Kitsune."
Subconsciously, Sasuke had reached out his pale digits hovering over the seal at first. Could this seal actually be genuine, in fact, he licked his lips as his breath began to wane?
He pressed his palm flat on the teen's flat abdomen. The Uchiha observed the seal too engrossed in his own endeavors, to regard the owner of this bizarre seal, or the fact that the blonde's face began to turn a bright red. He started to knead the markings with the pads of his thumb, index, and middle finger this action made a faint tingle sensation course through the pad of each digit a fact that the seal was alive.
So the Legend is true and I'm the first that means the scrolls of unlimited Life and Power are real?
However, Sasuke's probing was put to an end, both heard two other servant girls addressing someone right outside the fragile door. Naruto had quickly pulled down his shirt and hid behind a wooden dresser that held some fine silverware just as the rice paper door was barged through by a woman with a gigantic breast.
She was accompanied by a girl around Sasuke's age her bubblegum pink hair had been tied back in a loose bun making her appear more mature. The girl had a hint of pink to her cheeks when their eyes met. She slowly shifted her gaze to the floor below.
Sasuke had always been attractive fortunately for him or unfortunately he had inherited his looks from his mother including her smooth ivory skin to her silky charcoal black tresses and eyes. He never failed in attracting attention where ever he went much to his annoyance.
The Uchiha had straightened up a bit more in his spot, as both women took a seat adjacent to him.
The matriarch with honey-colored hair observed him with her deep golden-colored gaze before she spoke.
"Let's get this straight. I. Do. Not. Trust. You."
Sasuke's lips pursed. Well then, the feeling was mutual.
At this point, the atmosphere had dropped several degrees as both individuals sized one another up.
"I can't begin to phantom why Naruto would save your life, when he knows this puts us in a kind of predicament, seeing as you don't belong here and all."
She was powerful Sasuke would give her that, but it took a lot to intimidate him.
It's not like I went looking for it.
"So here's the deal kid," She had shifted closer, making the slip in her neckline plunge even further. Tsunade was aching for a drink right about now.
"I'm going to ask you some questions and you're going to answer them as truthfully as you can because I'll know when you are lying to me. You got that?" She left no room for protest even when their eye met. Patiently, she waited for him to confirm. The girl with the bright fuchsia-colored hair, next to her, had shifted in her seat from the stifling tension in the room as they waited for the outsider to reply.
"Whatever," his response was unsympathetic and cold which received him a death glare.
"Alright smart ass, what's your name and what village are you from? Let's start off with that?"
"Uchiha Sasuke. I reside near the Valley of the End I'm from no particular village." He ensured to keep his answer as ambiguous as possible.
Tsunade was far from convinced though she continued on with her questioning. She could feel that he was hiding something.
"Are there more of you? And will there be others a search for you?"
Sasuke had smirked at that. His brother most likely was confident he was dead by now. Sasuke could only imagine what an elaborate tale he had come up with.
"No and no."
"How did you come to wind up outside our borders?"
"I have no idea. One minute I'm at the bottom of a Well and wind up breaking through the structure of the small reservoir, that's when I ended up here."
Tsunade had a bullshit meter and even though his answer was vague, she found herself believing him. She had inwardly relaxed though she was still on guard. And she was thorough just before she was briefed about his condition. He had a stunning Jutsu placed on him and he was drenched, Plus the bit of information he gave about being at the bottom of a Well means he did not just fall in somebody wanted him dead and that made her all the more curious about him.
"How old are you Sasuke?" This question was not that necessary for the village. She had asked this out of sheer curiosity.
"Nineteen."
Sasuke noticed two completely different reactions from both women. One had given a sharp start while the other tried to cover up a faint smile behind her hand.
Abruptly, the Hokage shot to her feet she was prepared to find Naruto and slap the living hell out of him. Sasuke didn't want her to leave just yet he needed to know one more thing now he was curious. While he spoke his eyes lingered on the blonde pressed against the dresser, "Why me?"
Tsunade had stared at him for a moment trying to find the right words when she found none was when she sighed and answered him as truthfully as possible, besides the Uchiha was going to find out eventually.
"That boy the one who saved you… Well, he has chosen you to be his mate." Her word was not convincing she didn't even look convinced.
The girl-no young woman pink-haired had gasped before clamping both hands over her mouth and ducking her head obviously she had missed the ordeal earlier.
Sasuke's fist was shaking, so he gripped the dining table between them to keep himself composed.
She has to be joking! Never had Sasuke heard something so ludicrous in his life! This Village must have been drinking tainted Well water to come up with some crazy ass logic such as this.
"And if I refuse?"
Tsunade's lips pressed. "Well, you have no choice in the matter now do you? Naruto has chosen you, you should be so lucky."
And with that, she and her shadow advanced to the exit, but hen Tsunade had paused at the threshold and turned around to Sasuke with one last parting word.
"Oh, I almost forgot you will be brought food and water and a change of clothes. You are not authorized to leave this place. But if you do try to leave I will hunt you down and I will kill you myself." And with that, she and her shadow were gone.
