Chapter Twelve

Training Begins

"I am here! Pumping my muscles in dramatic fashion!" All Might said he was standing outside of the dorms where Mineta had led them. Upon making their way to said location, they were taken by surprise by the training equipment outside in a rather neat order.

"Um, All Might sir. Why is all this stuff out in the open?" Heather asked as All Might pointed a finger at her.

"Because this will be your training equipment to use before the Sports Festival!" He said which caused the bunny girl to blink in surprise. "Each piece of equipment is designed for you in the areas that you're weak at. Specifically, we need to increase your stamina and endurance!"

"Oh...that makes sense when you put it like that?"

"Indeed! For the next two weeks, you'll be pushing iron and running around a lot. And this will be your assignment for those two weeks!" All Might said as he noticed Momo's hand raised. "Is something the matter?"

"Don't get me wrong sir. I'm glad you're willing to let Heather use this to help build her body up. But she can't skip out on classes. Especially given her lack of knowledge of how the world works."

"Momo's not wrong about that." Mina said before looking over at Heather. "No offense Heather, but given how you didn't know what a cellphone was. Kind of speaks for itself as to how out of the loop you've been."

"That's true, she does lack...certain information. Which is why she'll be training during the afternoon classes after lunch. After hearing about the events that happened this morning with her academics, it would be best to have you study during the day and train throughout the afternoon when lunch is over!" All Might said in sheer confidence.

"I mean, that's not a bad idea. But wouldn't Aizawa and the other teachers say something about it?" Mineta asked as All Might waved a finger at him.

"Leave that to me. For now, we must focus on Young Winter's training. Which you all are going to be helping." He said before hearing his phone ringing as his voice came from the phone saying 'A phone call is here' over and over again until he picked up. He quickly picks it up to answer as everyone minus Heather were cringing at how his phone rang. "Hello, this is All Might speaking!"

"Seriously? That's his ringtone?" Jiro asked. "And I thought my dad's ringtone was bad."

"I know right. I know that he's the world's greatest hero, but he really needs to get a better ringtone than just him saying a phone call is here." Kaminari said as he soon noticed All Might putting his phone away.

"Sorry to have to chat and run, but I'm being called for something important with the staff faculty." All Might said before getting into a runner's stance. "I've given you the tools needed for Heather's training. Now it's up to you all to put in the effort in the training. Remember! Go Beyond! Plus Ultra!" He yelled before darting off into the school as the force of a wind erupted from it.

"Man, it's still cool how fast he can move like that." Kaminari said as he and the others watched All Might leave after covering their eyes from the gust of wind.

"Still doesn't change the fact that he has poor taste in ringtones~" Mina said as it caused Momo to roll her eyes with a slight smile on her face.

"Alright, we have what we need so I can think of a training regimen for Heather. During that time of training, Mineta and Mina will be-" The moment Momo looked over to where Heather was standing, she blinked upon seeing that she was gone. "...Um...Where did Heather go?" She asked as the others looked around to see where she was. Only to be answered by the sounds of something moving in the trees next to them. Looking over to their right, they would see Heather's head sticking out from out of the bush part of the tree.

"I think I might need something to keep me down to the ground." Heather said as she began to pull herself out of the tree. Though in doing that caused the already worn down clothes to be even more ripped up and revealing parts of her body...which was covered up by the bandages wrapped around her body. But that didn't stop the boys from imagining what it would look like for Heather to be naked as they quickly looked away or over their eyes.

"Gah, Heather. Cover yourself!" Mina said as Heather tilted her head in confusion.

"Um...Heather, sweetie. Your clothes." Momo said with a slight blush as she pointed over to the tree she was in. Upon noticing where Momo was pointing, Heather looked up to see pieces of her clothes up in the tree, then looked at herself and deadpans.

"Raspberries! Those were my favorite set of clothes!"

"Aren't they your only pair of clothes?" Kaminari asked as the sudden realization hit Heather like a ton of bricks.

"Double Raspberries! I can't go walking around school looking like this. I don't want to end up scaring people and thinking I'm a mummy from mummies alive." She said which caused everyone to blink. "It's an animated cartoon series I used to watch back when I was a kid in america...The guy that kidnapped me had all forty-two episodes in his basement."

"N-Noted. Perhaps we should hold off on the training until we can get Heather some clothing that is best suited for workout?" Momo suggested.

"Well we can't ask the school seeing how Heather's a guest here. Looks like we'll have to go and buy her some clothes this weekend." Mina said as she heard Mineta cleared his throat to get the attention of everyone.

"I wouldn't say that. After all, I do have a pair of clothes for her that my mom held out with." He said as his classmates looked upon him in judgement as he backed away slightly with his hands up. "I said I had help from my mother. I didn't pick the clothes out myself!"

"Uh-huh…" Mina said as she was still not convinced by this. "And what pray tell did she get her?" She asked as Mineta simply walked over to a nearby bush and reached inside it. In a matter of seconds or so, he pulls out a nicely wrapped present that was about the same height and somewhat thicker weight. The young man soon walked over to Heather and presented the box to her with a confident smile on his face.

"What, you hid this here all this time?" Jiro asked.

"Well it's not like I can carry it around all day, I had to bring it in during the day and keep it hidden until the right moment. I was planning on giving this to Heather before the Sports Festival seeing how she can't wear her usual attire. They might end up not letting her join. Not to mention they still think she's a villain."

"...It's weird of me to say this...but Mineta has a point." Kaminari said which took everyone other then Heather and Mineta by surprise due to Mineta watching Heather opening the gift given to her. "Hear me out before you say anything. But if her clothes were to get destroyed during the festival, then they'll have to stop it so she can get a new pair of clothes, or not let her continue and be disqualified."

"Huh...the thought hasn't come to mind now that you said that." Mina said as she turned her attention onto Heather and Minesta. "I'm just more worried as to what Mineta got her, clothes wise I mean." She said before shivering at the thought of skimpy clothing. "It was bad enough with people looking at certain parts of her body, we don't want them to try anything."

"Agreed. Depending on the clothes, I'll be sure to take them and burn them to ashes." Momo said as she and the other watched carefully as Heather unwrapped the present. Upon doing so, it would reveal a light blue shirt with grey colored sleeves, dark olive colored baggy pants with what looks to be a black dress attached to the waistline of the pants and a belt hooked to the side with a round pocket watch like accessory hanging from it, and grey color boots that felt light upon being picked up..

"Whoa, guys you check it out!" Heather said as she presented the clothes for the group to see. "I've never seen anything like this before!" She said, which took the group by surprise as they looked over at Mineta in suspicion. "Where did you get these?"

"Again, my mom was the one that got them. One look at the picture Kaminari sent me the other day, and she pretty much did the rest." He said before noticing Heather putting the clothes on. "We still need to get her boots that can keep her grounded though. The boots may be heavy, but not enough to keep you from flying."

"Oh okay!" Heather said as she finished getting herself dressed and put her new boots on. Though the group noticed that she didn't tie her shoelaces.

"Um...you forgot to tie your boots Heather." Jrio said as Heather looked down at her boots and noticed them before tilting her head.

"How do I do that?" She asked as everyone stared at her with dumbfounded expressions on their faces before Mina spoke up.

"Mineta...would be a dear and tie Heather's boots for her?"

"Wait, you want me to do that?" Mineta asked as Mina nodded her head. "...Is this some kind of trap or something?"

"No, no, I figure this would be a good time for you two to talk to one another while we set up a plan for Heather." She said as Mineta stared at her for a moment before shrugging and heading over to help Heather. The moment they were a few feet off away from the group, Mina turned her attention onto Kaminari, Jiro, and Momo. "Okay this is much worse than I can imagine."

"You mean the fact that she doesn't know how to tie her own shoes?" Jiro asked as the pink girl nodded.

"I'd like to put Heather through a test involving basic common knowledge. Like testing to see where she's at mentally." Momo said before hearing Kaminari speak up.

"Isn't that a bit much for her. I mean sure she's a bit of an airhead, but she can't be that far off from being a normal person with average level of smartness?" He asked before looking over at Heather letting Mineta tie her boots while patting his head. Though upon doing that, one of his balls ended up sticking to her hand as she eyed it in both curiosity and wonder. It didn't help that she tried to take it off with her other hand, which caused both hands to be stuck onto Mineta's ball. "Okay scratch that. Maybe Momo has a point."

"So how do we do this without her knowing?" Mina asked as Momo placed a hand to her chin.

"We can ask her questions during the afternoon section of her training. Like we each ask her three questions during the next two weeks. Once there we can give the information to Principal Nezu and he'll be able to adjust her learning...at least I hope he does."

"Should we give it to them after the Sports Festival?" Jiro asked as Momo nodded.

"That would be for the best...also I think we need to make a stop at Recovery Girl's office."

"Why is that?" Kaminari asked as Momo pointed a finger over at Heather who was munching on Mineta's ball due to her quirk freezing it. "Oh god, Mineta! What the hell happened!?"

"I tried to stop her from patting my head when I was tying her boots, but she ended up doing so and one of my balls ended up on her hands. So I figure it'll come off in a matter of minutes or so, but in doing so she tries to take off with her other hand….and well I'm pretty sure you know the rest." Mineta said as he tried to take the ball away from Heather, only for her to gulp down the remains.

"Weird, it tastes like grape soda and...bananas~?" Heather said as her friends had mixed expressions on their faces. Ranging from trying not to bust out laughing, facepalming, to deadpaning.

"...Let's make a mental note to teach her how to tie her shoes tomorrow before classes start." Jiro suggested as the other nodded. "I'll take her to Recovery Girl."

"We'll start her training tomorrow. Mina and Mineta will start first for the next four days, Jiro and Kaminari next, and then I and Mineta for the last part before the festival. Anyone against it?" Momo suggested as the others shook their heads. "Good, then tomorrow will be the day we begin with the training."
