Prompt: "Ok, so where for dinner?"
"You know," Aubrey said as she linked arms with her Bella co-captain and guided her out of the practice space. "It's been a long time since I've seen you this tired."
Chloe chuckled and colored a tad as she pushed her red hair back behind her ear. "Yeah?" She tried to act innocent, but the blonde was having none of it.
"Who are you dating, Chloe? You only ever look this tired when you're staying up late for sex."
Red eyebrows shot up. "What about when I'm studying? You've been thinking all this time that I'm having sex with someone when I've been studying late at night?"
Aubrey ignored that. "Ok, don't tell me... but I know you have a toner for SOMEONE."
Chloe chuckled. "Having a toner for someone doesn't mean you're sleeping with them," she said sagely. But her eyes were feeling so gritty that she couldn't help but rub at them.
"Hey, Guys," Beca said as she followed them outside. "Great rehearsal today. Those new steps are really coming together, Chlo." She yawned and rubbed her eyes as she sidled up to Aubrey and bumped hips with her. "And you, Miss Thing, that note you hit was fucking high, Dude! You're giving Jessica a run for her money."
Chloe smiled as she nodded her agreement. "Plus, that slight change to the arrangement really makes Stacie shine." She reached out and pushed Beca's hair back from her eyes. "Nice job."
The brunette grinned and squeezed the redhead's hand for a moment before hiking her bag up on her shoulder. "You Guys wanna get dinner?" she asked, eyes on Chloe, even though the invitation was for Aubrey too.
Aubrey didn't say anything for a moment, then she started to laugh. Beca and Chloe blinked at her. "Oh my God," the blonde exclaimed, poking her co-captain in the boob. "It's Beca, isn't it? You two are sleeping together!"
"Uh..." Chloe looked at Beca, eyebrows raised. "I... uh..."
Dark blue eyes rolled. "She had to find out sooner or later," Beca shrugged. "Might as well be now. Yeah, Aubrey... Chloe and I are dating. Do we have a problem?"
Aubrey shook her head. "On the contrary," she replied. "It's a relief that neither of you is boning a Treble."
"Ewww," Beca said, scrunching up her nose as she laced her fingers through Chloe's. "In case you haven't noticed, all the Trebles are men. I don't do... that."
Chloe sniggered softly, squeezing her girlfriend's hand and drawing her close to kiss her chastely. "Thank God."
Aubrey just shrugged, but inside she was very happy for her best friends. "Ok, so where for dinner? I feel like celebrating!"
The redhead grinned and started them walking toward the gates of the university. "I think we need to go somewhere where we can find you someone to bone too."
The blonde scratched her cheek thoughtfully. "You know, that's not actually a terrible idea."
