Disclaimer/Claimer: See Chapter 1
I'm back! Did y'all miss me? ;} Or do you all hate me a little because I made you all wait! T_T I'm so, so, so, so, so, so, so VERY sorry! This chapter was a little harder for me to write because well, its pretty much a slowed down piece. .-. Sooo, yeah. I was trying to get the story itself up to over 7,000 words, but by the time I hit 5,500 words, I felt bad for making you all wait this long, so I'm posting it now. XD I got to a point that it made sense to end the chapter, so that's good!(: Oh and Michiru is no longer spelled Machiru! Sorry about that as well. XD I don't know why I tried spelling Machiru... maybe it's because Haruka's name has an 'a' in the second letter space as well. XD Who knows!
So enough chit-chat, get to reading! R&R! :D
Chapter 6: Everlasting Stars
Seiya awoke late two days later. He, out of all 6 of the Senshi who partook in the battle, suffered the most damage. He lifted his hand to his forehead and felt a thick bandage encircling his head. His eyes were slightly foggy as if a thick cloth had been laid over his eyes as well. Only with a few moments of staring at the white ceiling of a foreign place, his sight began to clear. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted the watery cerulean gaze of a blonde haired woman. A small hand reached out to touch his cheek but he intercepted it and pulled her close for a tight hug. "I'm so glad you are okay," a soft murmur from the ruby lips of his beloved spoke in a muffled tone, the sound obscured by the blanket that covered his chest. He gently stroked the blonde bun-head's hair.
"As am I, where is Mizuki? Is she okay?"
"She's fine, everyone else is fine… it was only you who didn't wake up right away… and Mizuki got her powers." Seiya could almost hear the smile turning up at the corner of Usagi's lips as she spoke about Mizuki's newfound abilities. He felt happy himself about the issue, but even more relieved that she was okay and suffered little to no harm. That beast they faced that night was something straight from the depths of chaos. On Kinmoku they call them Chaos Beasts and Chaos Legionaries. Galaxia didn't even possess the power necessary to control these mythical beasts and their terrifying masters. Only Chaos could, and it was a wonder that Chaos didn't use them whilst it held control over Galaxia. With Chaos' and Galaxia's combined strengths they should have been able to control three armies the size of the one Chaos controls alone. Seiya needed to get to Kinmoku and soon. If Earth was being targeted he would need the aid of Sailor Star Healer and Maker as well. They would need every person of Senshi status to come and help if they were to even start to think about fighting back against Chaos and the Chaos Army.
Seiya attempted to sit up but a sharp pain shot through his chest forcing him back down on his back. "Careful! You have a few broken bones and some internal bruising. Ami looked you over and you don't have any internal bleeding which is good and no other ailments. But you'll still be sore and on bed rest for at least two weeks she said."
"We don't have time for me to just sit here and rest! You and the Sailor's of this Galaxy have only glimpsed what the Chaos Army can do… we need to rally Healer and Maker and Kakyuu before the Army decides to launch a full scale attack on us…" Seiya suddenly felt very light headed from raising his voice. Usagi was startled by the sudden change in her husband's tone. It didn't befit him to become so uptight and anxious these days. He was so calm and laid back, ready to deal with whatever life threw at him with open arms and an equally open mind. This whole deal with what he called the Chaos Army must be serious. More so than they have ever dealt with… exceeding even Galaxia.
"S-So what do you plan to do?" Usagi asked timidly and fiddled with the frayed hem of her black shorts.
"We need to gather the others before I discuss in full detail," Seiya murmured and reached out to stroke the cheek of his beloved. He hated the fact he was so helpless and Usagi and Mizuki would be left to fight the battles without him while his wounds healed. But he couldn't bring himself to sit still. Now was the time to get something done and something had to be done before the end inevitably came prematurely.
"I'll go get them, Michiru made them all breakfast this morning."
"Bring Mizuki in too, she's ready to be apart of Senshi business."
"Are you sure?" Usagi seemed hesitant to bring in her pride and joy but what Seiya said was true. Now that Mizuki had transformed into her Sailor form, she had a right to know about the ongoings of the Senshi. Seiya simply nodded and watched as his short blonde bun-head exited the room he lay in. Seiya turned his dark blue gaze up to the ceiling and once more touched his hand to his forehead. His thoughts were swimming, but something was gnawing at him. Something wasn't settling right in the pit of his stomach and it made his nerves ache with anxiety. It frustrated him that he could not figure out what made him so anxious and that the hollow pit of fear was slowly growing. Something was coming.
Moments later Seiya's thoughts and gaze were drawn to the 10 Senshi that shuffled into the large seating room. Haruka and Michiru lingered near the archway, Ami, Minako and Makoto all too a seat on the long white couch and Rei and Hotaru shared the white love seat. Usagi knelt near Seiya's head and Mizuki sat near the injured males feet. Setsuna leaned against the wall beside the white love seat Rei and Hotaru shared. Haruka and Setsuna both shared the same seriousness and the rest were all rather concerned.
"You've seen these things before?" Michiru asked flatly, folding her arms across her chest. Her thin pale limbs creased the blue cardigan she wore over a white tank top.
"Yeah, we called them Chaos Beasts. Chaos derived them from pure evil before the beginning of the first Sailor Wars. Galaxia and Sailor Cosmos combined their powers and banished Chaos' army to the nether regions but it seems the seal weakened when Galaxia was overtaken by Chaos and Sailor Cosmos killed. Healer, Maker and I gave it no thought, we figured that the seal would not break anytime soon… I guess we were wrong."
"Is there no way to reseal the barrier before more of these beasts escape from the Nether?" Ami asked, her intellectual mind conjuring up scenario after scenario but coming up with no ideas on sealing up the barrier. She didn't even have the slightest clue where the barrier would even be located or how to get there without exhausting the Senshi's powers in the process.
"Not that I can think of, I feel that we should visit my homeworld of Kinmoku and speak with Princess Kakyuu and the other Sailor Stars before coming up with a decision on our own."
Haruka was about to say something but Usagi cut her off, knowing the meaning of Haruka's thoughts through the tall blondes furrowed brow. "This is no longer a problem concerning only our Galaxy, this is a problem that stems through the entire universe. Its time we gather up all of our forces, whomever they might be and face this new threat and banish evil from the Universe once and forall. None of us want our children to go through the same things we did with Galaxia, only this time it'll be on a much larger scale." The room shared a nod of agreement and Michiru grasped Haruka's hand to comfort the flustered blonde Sailor.
"Usagi's right," Rei continued. "Its only a matter of time before we are faced with something that we can't handle alone… even if there are now ten of us, we won't be a match for the things we are against. We will need as much help as possible… and I fear the task will fall to our young children. We can't have a repeat with what happened to Hotaru when Nehelenia attacked."
"I want to help," Mizuki piped in timidly.
"I want you to stay here on Earth while we are gone Mizuki. It will be your job to lead the Senshi and help any of the children, including your sister, who turn before their time," Seiya stated as warmly and as firmly as he could manage. His head was beginning to ache again.
"But dad!" Mizuki began to complain.
"Don't worry my darling, some of us will be staying behind to protect you guys," Michiru added to comfort the angry teen. "I personally will remain behind with you, and Haruka too."
Mizuki wasn't happy with the final verdict but she didn't try to fight it. Michiru and Haruka agreed with Seiya, and that usually meant that they also thought it was for the best. And if they thought that, Mizuki wouldn't say anything more.
"When do we leave?" Rei asked, her hands resting lightly folded in her lap. Her lilac hues held some hesitation to go along with this plan.
"Within the week, Seiya needs a few more days to rest and get healed up and you all will need time to discuss things with your partners," Usagi murmured and stroked her lover's forehead. The others nodded and one by one filed out of the room. Mizuki left as well, leaving Usagi and Seiya alone. Seiya reached up and swiped a stray tear that rolled down Usagi's cheek. He flashed her a reassuring smile before wrapping his arms around the petite blondes waist. The movement sharply pulled Usagi onto Seiya's chest, their lips now suddenly pressed together. She could feel Seiya's strong chest shudder in a wince beneath her but his iron-tight grip around her waist prevented her from pulling away.
"Everything will be okay, I promise you that," Seiya murmured in a strained tone. "I won't let anything happen to you or our precious children. We will return from this trip and face the evil and succeed in winning so we can return to the peace that has filled our lives these past 16 years."
"I-I know everything is gonna be alright in the end… but this time it feels different. I'm afraid what will happen if we leave Earth to travel to Kinmoku… there is no telling if these Chaos Beasts will attack again while we are gone…" She sniffed and looked off to the side.
Seiya placed his fingers beneath Usagi's chin and pulled her face so that she had to look at him. "I can feel it too… but we can't let it prevent us from completing our task." Usagi simply nodded and stood up as Seiya released her. "I'm gonna sit and rest here for a bit, okay?" Seiya murmured a bit tired. Usagi nodded and turned on her heel, flashing him a soft smile to acknowledge what he said.
Usagi took a sharp right turn as she exited the large sitting room and headed from the front door. In four steps she was standing on a concrete step in the brisk morning air. She tucked her hands in the sweater she had grabbed on the way out of the door and headed down the long path to the sidewalk. She didn't know where she was going but she knew she needed to just get out and walk for a while to clear her thoughts. She stared straight ahead and down slightly so that her eyes saw the pathway ahead of her, but not any obstacles that may cross her path.
She walked for what seemed like twenty minutes or so. The cold fall air nipping at her exposed skin. She pulled the collar of the sweater tight against her neck but it did little to protect her now red ears. She would have to head back soon, the others would begin to worry if she was gone for a prolonged time period. Usagi couldn't shake the feeling that she was being followed, but when she whipped around she found the sidewalk- stretching as far as she could see- was empty. She gulped down hard, swallowing the knot of fear that rose in her throat and continued on towards the local park. The park was her desired goal because it would be nice and quiet; as not many people traversed it during the workweek.
Usagi was just about to reach the large wooden arch that stood as the entrance to the family park when she heard someone call out to her. "Mom, what are you doing?" Usagi looked over her shoulder, shocked to see Chibiusa behind her. Chibiusa was dressed in long pants and a fluffy winter coat to keep her warm. It seemed like overkill for the chilly evening, but she was just glad that Chibiusa wasn't freezing.
"I think the better question is, why are you here? Shouldn't you be back at the house helping your brother and sister with chores?"
"Yeah, but I saw you leave so suddenly and I decided to follow you mom. You had me worried, I didn't want you walking alone in case you got attacked again like the last time," she stated with a stern look on her face, prepared to take any lecture Usagi was going to give her.
The sight reminded Usagi of how Chibiusa was when she was little. Always so stern and forward, wanting to make sure everyone around her was safe before she was. Even as a two-year old who could barely talk and still wobbled she was the last to fall asleep, watching and waiting for Ren or Mizuki to fall asleep. Or one time when Usagi had burned her hand while making a pot of boil water, Chibiusa pulled the tall blonde out of the kitchen and pointed to the couch with a stern frown crossing over her chubby cheeks. The sight made Usagi chuckle, because Chibiusa looked ridiculous with that frown. There was another time when Mizuki had taken Ren's brand new toy and Ren was crying. Chibiusa walked up to Mizuki but didn't try to take the toy from her. Instead, she furrowed her eyebrows and frowned at her sister. Mizuki stopped what ever she was doing with the toy and stared at Chibiusa. Chibiusa then said in her two-year old voice: "Gif brofar's toy back." Mizuki handed Ren's toy back without a word.
Usagi blinked and brought herself back to reality. Her daughter was a very strong willed person, so much like her father. "Well come on then, let's walk together," Usagi finally said and held out her hand. Chibiusa's frown transformed into a bright smile as she stepped forward and grasped her mother's hand. Usagi couldn't help but feel a bit nostalgic, being around just Chibiusa. She had always wondered what her life would be like if she was still with Mamoru. Would they have more children? Would a new enemy have appeared sooner or not at all? Would Crystal Tokyo still be intact and full of peace and prosperity? Would she be happy?
The two walked hand-in-hand for a bit, following the twisting, winding, intersecting pathways that spiderwebbed throughout the forested park. They didn't really speak a word until Usagi stopped suddenly. Chibusa was looking up, gazing at the swaying orange, red and light green leaves of the many deciduous trees that dotted the sides of the pathways. She was nearly thrown off balance by the change in motion of her mother. Chibiusa turned her head and gave her mother a questioning look.
Usagi was staring off down the path, her cerulean eyes wide and her mouth hanging ajar in a little 'o'. Something about the older woman's expression frightened the young girl. Chibiusa followed her mother's gaze down the path and spotted a man, a woman and a child at their side, about Chibiusa's age or perhaps a few years younger. The man was staring back at Usagi, with the same expression she wore upon her delicate, pale face. Chibiusa tugged on Usagi's hand and chanted 'mom' a few times. Chibiusa tried again and again, but nothing seemed to be able to break the concentrated, shocked and tearful gaze of Usagi. Why was she crying?
"Mom! Snap out of it," Chibiusa growled a little louder and stepped in front of the woman. Chibiusa was only a few inches shorter than her mother, but she was just tall enough that Usagi wouldn't be able to see over the top of her head. Chibiusa's pink pigtails and Usagi's long blonde pigtails billowed in the wind as the silence reigned for a few moments longer. Usagi blinked as she snapped from her transfixed gaze upon the person.
"Sorry," she trailed off and looked down into her daughters worried reddish-brown eyes.
"What's gotten into you mom?" She asked and shivered. The intensity of shock still resided deep within Usagi's cerulean hues.
"I-Its just an old friend is all," she mumbled and grabbed Chibiusa's hand turning on a heel and headed down the path they just came from. Chibiusa didn't try to fight or pry into Usagi's thoughts. Something about that person affected her mother and Chibiusa was of course interested in who and why, but she would ask later.
But they didn't make it very far down the path until they both were stopped dead in their tracks by a strained masculine voice shouting out: "Usako!" Usagi dropped Chibiusa's hand and refused to turn around, yet she did not move forward. Her eyes were wide and her mouth ajar and she stared with off in the distance with a look of something akin to despair. Chibiusa looked over her shoulder and spotted the man from earlier running towards them. Shouting every so often the same word: "Usako! Usako," until he was ten feet away from them. The man was not familiar to Chibiusa, she had no recollection of his name, but he definitely knew her mother.
"Usagi… will you please look at me?" He begged and placed his hands on his knees, panting from the exertion of his run.
Usagi shook her head and Chibiusa noticed for the first time that the blonde was crying. She now held her mouth tightly closed and was struggling to hold back a sob. She looked back to the man who was now staring in shock at Chibiusa. She suddenly felt really subconscious and uncomfortable. "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked and grabbed Usagi's hand again.
"C-Chibiusa…" he breathed and dropped his hands to his side, allowing them to dangle loosely.
"How do you know my name?!" She whimpered and hid her face in her mother's arm.
"B-because… you were supposed to be my daughter…"
Seiya woke up with a start. His body was drenched in sweat from the terrifying dream he just had. He had only been asleep for an hour and a half and already his mind played through a least a half a dozen scenarios of Kinmoku burning and his friends and princess all dead. He sat up quickly and gripped his skull, a solid thump continuously bashing against the frontal lobe of his mind, begging for his full attention. Making it hard for him to concentrate on any one thought for too long before another rang out and replaced the first. He squeezed his eyes shut and made an audible grunt before slowly laying back down on the couch where he still lay. He stared up at the ceiling with a half lidded expression and took several long breaths in an attempt to calm his fast beating heart. He rose his still shaking hands above his face and into his blurred vision.
What is happening to me? I used to be so calm… I haven't felt this worried since I thought I was going to lose Dumpling forever… He thought to himself with a solemn sigh. He lowered his hands until his palms were pressed tightly against his face, blocking the view of the ceiling from his vision. He was extremely worried about Kinmoku, there was no telling if his home planet would be destroyed or in peace when they arrived. He hoped for the latter, wanting Yaten and Taiki and Princess Kakyuu to all be okay. He didn't know what he would do if he lost two of his bestest friends and the Princess they spent decades searching for.
He remembered the most recent time when he felt this much despair:
"C'mon! I wanna go, hurry up and get the cereal for Mizuki," Usagi chided to the taller dark haired male. He slunk away, the 3 year old girl trotting beside him, holding onto his pant leg. Seiya wasn't paying much attention to the tiny girl walking with him to the cereal aisle. It was three aisles over from where Usagi was picking out some noodles and rices. Seiya got to the aisle without much incident and as he traversed down the aisle he looked down and realized for the first time since leaving Usagi's side, that Mizuki was missing. He looked around quickly, knowing that the little tot wouldn't be able to get very far on her stubby, wobbly legs.
He called out to her, and with each passing moment his heart began to race faster and faster and a knot formed in his stomach, clenching an iron fist around it. The feeling nearly made Seiya sick with worry. He ran down the aisle and looked across a rather busy walkway to the clothing section. He hurried over and tried calling out to his tiny tot again, but still with no response. He was on the verge of falling to his knees and banging his fists on the floor, scolding himself for not being careful enough with his precious daughter. The ex-idol looked up from his feet and there standing before him was the wide-eyed, grinning dark haired tot he called his daughter.
A wash of relief overcame him and he picked up the tot and hugged her tight, scolding her for wandering off without him knowing. From that day on, he made sure to keep a better eye on his daughter, never wanting anything to happen to her.
Truthfully, that may have been a simple incident, but this whole fathering thing was still alien-like to Seiya, even after 16 years of being one. He worries constantly that something may happen to his kids, or even to Usagi. A constant thought ticks in the back of his mind: When will the peace be shattered again? He could have gone another 30 years or so without that peace being shattered, but fate had a cruel sense of humour. His oldest daughter had only just begun to taste life, and already she would have to face the very monsters that Seiya grew up hearing as Legends and old Folk Lore. Wise Tales that the caretakers would tell the children before they slept, reassuring the frightened ones that such monsters didn't exist. What a lie that was.
Seiya sat up slowly after a while and got to his feet. He stood there for a moment, waiting for his blurred vision to clear once more. He blinked a few times and assured that he was stable, walked forward across the room to a nearby mirror, placed conveniently over a storage dresser. He stared back at his own reflection, unaged and unchanged since his youthful days. As he gazed upon his humanistic features, he began to reminisce the days where he was permanently Fighter, in a woman's body. It was almost impossible these days to remember what it was like to be a woman, to feel what a woman feels. He couldn't say he missed it, his time as a male has granted him some interesting, exciting and even pleasurable experiences that as Fighter he never would have been able to feel. But he knew, that with this up and coming battle, and the smaller fights that were sure to ensue before the climax, he would have to return to his original physique, the physique that felt more like a mask than his pseudo human form. He had become so accustomed to this form, that change felt unnatural.
Was his time as Sailor Star Fighter up? No, that was a silly question. He would always be Sailor Star Fighter, no matter how many decades he spent on this planet, assuming the form of a human male. He supposed the whole reason that Earth felt so comforting and home-like to him is that it's landscape is very similar to Kinmoku. Kinmoku has tall mountains abundant with life of all kinds as well as vast oceans so deep no one could travel to touch the bottom. Although, Kinmoku was considerably more advanced in technology than Earth, there was still a homey quality the attracted Seiya to this Blue Planet. He could remember his parents, two middle-class people with no martial arts training and no wish for their only daughter to join into the Sailor Stars group, the highest of the ranks in Kinmoku's beautiful capital at the time. But Seiya grew up idolizing the original Stars, wanting and yearning to find her inner powers, hoping she had any rather, and to join and defend her precious planet. Seiya became a Sailor at the age of 17, and advanced quickly through the ranks to Sailor Star Fighter, the leader of a group of three. Seiya met Yaten and Taiki or as she knew them then as: Sailor Star Healer and Sailor Star Maker.
Seiya began to wonder about his family, or her family rather. Are they still alive? It's been centuries since she last saw them. If so how are they doing since Kinmoku was rebuilt? What was life like now on Kinmoku? Was it like before the cataclysm? Or is it still in the process of being rebuilt from the mere rubble it was left in? No, Kakyuu definitely would have made some major progress in restoration when she returned with the other Starlights. Princess Kakyuu was always into natural beauty, so it would be no surprise if she restored Kinmoku into a serene haven in the little time she had returned.
Seiya was drawn from his thoughts when there was a knock on the living room arch-entrance. His half-lidded blue eyes trailed from where he had been staring intently at nothingness and to the entrance way where there now stood four solemn faces and his daughter, Mizuki. "Hey dad, how are you feeling?" She asked timidly, still a little withdrawn from wanting to speak with her father.
The injured father turned his gaze to his feet before moving back to the couch and gingerly sitting back down. "I'm fine, how are you?"
"A little torn, but I'll live. However, we need to talk about something… concerning ther others kids."
Rei piped up and took over Mizuki's explanation, silencing the young girl by placing a hand on her shoulder. "We all will all be going with you obviously, but… we all share the same fear."
"And what kind of fear is this?" Seiya asked, running his hand across his sweating forehead.
"About our children." Rei responded.
"And their transformations…" Minato continued.
"They are all still so young, the eldest is 10 and that is Haruka's daughter…" Ami added.
"All 5 of our eldest girls are only 5, to young to take on Senshi duties." Makoto finished.
"I realized that after you guys left," Seiya sighed and held his head in his hands. "Have you talked with Usagi and Luna about it? They seem to be better fitted to the task."
"Yeah but…" Rei trailed off.
"But?" Seiya pressed, raising his blue gaze to the black haired woman.
"But, Luna and Artemis both commented on how in order to get our own childrens transformations to trigger…" Makoto continued but trailed off.
Ami finished the statement, somewhat coldly. "Chibiusa must have her powers as well, not just Mizuki."
"And what does Chibiusa have to do with any of this?" Seiya growled, almost offended that Mizuki suddenly wasn't enough for them.
"Chibiusa was originally the next Sailor Moon, not Mizuki," Ami continued, pressing her glasses up her nose. "Mizuki gained her powers simply by being the daughter of two Senshi, however Chibiusa inherited the title of Moon Princess." Seiya's eyes swept quickly to the downed look of Mizuki. Mizuki however, understood this premise and had accepted it. She was a fighter, not some weak savior like her mother. This meant that Chibiusa would have to face much worse decisions and obstacles than Mizuki, however Mizuki would have to protect her sister with everything she possessed. The thoughts weighed down on the young girl's chest but she held her resolve and gave her father a reassuring smile.
"If Chibiusa is the next Sailor Moon, why has she not transformed yet and Mizuki has?" Seiya muttered.
"There had been no reason for Chibiusa to transform as of yet. But with a new war approaching, her transformation should not be far behind Mizuki's. As goes for our own children… Each are starting to show signs of an accelerated Transformation. They have begun to age quicker, and even the symbols of their respective planets appear on their foreheads." Makoto was the one who provided this explanation.
Seiya sighed and leaned deep into the couch, resting his head against the back. He closed his eyes and took several deep breaths to calm himself. "I guess it's inevitable, war is upon us. Which makes it all the more important for us to travel to Kinmoku and seek the help of Maker, Healer and Princess Kakyuu. When Usagi gets back from her walk, we will discuss when we will be leaving," Seiya stated dismissively. The older Senshi left the young Mizuki behind. Mizuki looked on as her father rested with his eyes closed. In this condition she knew he wasn't ready to battle, he was too injured. The injury to his head could to be potentially life threatening if he isn't careful, and turning into Fighter and fighting in this war might just be the death of him… Mizuki sighed and retreated out of the room and into a side room where Rei's twin daughters were playing with two toy crows and some rocks.
Mizuki smiled down at the ebony haired twins, they looked up at her and asked her to play with them, almost simultaneously. Mizuki knew that Mars had two moons, so it was only logical that she have twin daughters to inherit her thrown. Phobos and Deimos, the two moons of Mars. Mizuki began to wonder what these small kids would be like as Sailors, forced to grow up at an unimaginable pace… It was horrifying that one day these twins, and the other children of the Senshi would be the Next Generation of Sailor Senshi. They would have to take on the tasks their mothers faced when they were around 14 or so. As Mizuki played with the two twins, she couldn't help but think about the future; it was so uncertain at this point that the thought frightened her to the point she was unable to sleep at night or focus on one task for an extended period of time. Her teachers had even began to notice a change in her, but none of them pried into her personal life to find out why.
"Mizu! Mizu! Mizu!" The twins chanted in turn, back and forth at each other in their adorable childish voices. The sound of Mizuki's name brought her back to reality, and a thought struck her. She would enjoy life as much as she could until the point where she could no longer find joy in the small things because the horror of a war would be raging down upon their very homes. It was just safer for Mizuki to think in the moment, rather than pry into the future where her thoughts became scattered and torn, battered and stricken. All of the sudden Mizuki found herself laying on her back with two giggling girls wrapped around both of her arms. She couldn't help but laugh at the situation, the two girls were just so adorable. All of the kids were so adorable. Michiru's and Haruka's two adopted daughters were much older than the rest, but they still possessed that factor of innocence, much like Chibiusa. Mizuki was the only one who had lost it so far… the innocence of childhood. She was now given adult responsibilities, and those responsibilities were beyond even an Adult. These responsibilities would mean life or death to Chibiusa and the others.
Mizuki's mind turned to Mamoru for a moment… she didn't quite understand why but something about that man made Mizuki shudder… however something also pushed her mind towards the thoughts that he might… or someone close to him may end up being an ally of theirs in the future battles. Whom that would be however, Mizuki couldn't imagine. Mizuki sat back up, pulling the two skinny tots with her and began to tickle them. They both laughed out uncontrollably and attempted to fight back but Mizuki had them both pinned. Behind the teenage Senshi, Rei stood, a smile on her face. She hadn't seen her kids laugh this much since they first got some alone time with Usagi and herself. Mizuki was a lot more like her mother than she thought.
Well! I had some issues with formatting... apparently Google Docs glitches sometimes and prevents the traditional formatting of FanFiction (which primarily doesn't use indentations) from working properly. That's a downside... but I have no better alternative! Oh well, we all can live with a few weird spots here and there can't we? ^^' Hope so. :3 Next update will be up hopefully by the end of Thanksgiving, if not sooner! Until then my great readers! 3 R&R~
PS: Scratch the above! Turns out if I go into Edit/Preview after saving the Document -since I've been copying and pasting- it fixes all the formatting errors that come with switching from the two very different formats! So that's good. XD Anyways, bye again! :D
PSS: Oh and if anyone liked A Night of Bliss, I'll be using that as a collection of Lemon scenes between some of the canon and non-canon couples from SMNG! :D I think before I start chapter 7, I'ma write one up about Haruka and Michiru because we all know their love is the best! :D
