Dance under the Moonlit Sky.

Ritsuka woke up in the middle of the night, seeing Morgan asleep right at his side. He still couldn't believe he was married to someone like her. Although sometimes it felt unreal, he started to feel… Warm around her.

It felt unreal, like a dream. Yet if it was a dream, it was one he didn't want to wake up.

Speaking of waking up. Morgan slowly started to open her eyes, seeing Ritsuka staring at her directly while smiling.

"My Husband, what are you doing awake at this hour?" - she asked while slowly getting up from the bed.

"Nothing, I was just… Admiring you while you slept" - he said with a smile - "Sometimes it feels unreal that I'm married to someone like you" -

"Is that so? Have my charms captured you all over again?" - she said while laughing a bit. Her plan was going exactly like she expected.

"However, there's something that I'm still curious about" -

"What is it?" -

"How did we meet each other?" -

Morgan didn't expect him to ask that all of the sudden, and was taken aback. However, she already had thought of an answer.

"You belonged to a noble fae long ago, and she brought you to a dance that I held in the castle. There, I saw you and for some reason, couldn't take my eyes off of you. I remember that day, our dance in front of everyone… -

"It was a dance huh? Too bad I can't remember it, sounds like a lovely memory" -

"If you wish so, we can relieve it right now. Of course, there's no party, and no audience, but that doesn't matter to you, doesn't it? We have each other after all -

Ritsuka then smiled to Morgan - "I'd love to dance with you again Morgan -

"Then, join me, my Husband -

Both left the room under the night and went to a ballroom located on the west side of the castle. It was entirely dark, but none of the two cared about that detail.

"This is where we had not only our first dance, but where I decided that you would be my Husband, and I made good on that promise" -

The light of the moon passed through the windows of the place, creating a peaceful atmosphere.

"And… I cannot remember it, nothing comes to mind" -

"In that case, if your old memories don't come back, how about we make new ones? To ensure that you'll never forget me, no matter what" -

Using her magic, Morgan started to play soft music before grabbing Ritsuka's hand and starting to dance with him - "I hope you still remember how to properly dance" -

"I'll try" - he answered awkwardly.

The pair started to slowly move across the ballroom, with Morgan holding Ritsuka close to her as they did. She was surprised that he could not only dance, but was rather good at it.

"That's it, do not focus on anything else but the music, and me" -

Ritsuka's mind started to calm down. Before, he spent all of his awake time thinking about those flashing images that passed through his mind, but now? He couldn't think of anything else but the beautiful woman he was dancing with.

The music started to pick up the pace, and the pair started to dance faster, moving as if they'd become one. Morgan, despite originally doing this solely to further strengthen her lie, started to feel… Good? The way Ritsuka held her, how they moved in sync with the rhythm of the music, she couldn't explain why but she was starting to enjoy it, and she couldn't believe it.

Her distraction caused her to lose balance and nearly fall, but Ritsuka managed to catch her in the last second, locking eyes as he held onto her.

"Careful, I wouldn't want my Wife to hurt herself" -

"You… You called me… Wife?" - Morgan was shocked. Up until then, he only referred to her by name.

"Yes, is there anything wrong with that?" -

Morgan's heart started to beat faster than usual, as her face was rather close to Ritsuka's. How could this be happening to her? She held no feelings for that human, he was her enemy!

Ritsuka helped Morgan get back on her feet as the Queen tried to keep herself in check. That caught her off guard, made her heart race like it hadn't in thousands of years.

"What's the matter Morgan? Your face is all red" -

"Do-Do not look at me, a Queen cannot be seen like this" - she said, trying to cover her face.

"But, we're married, remember?" - Ritsuka grabbed Morgan and pulled her close to him - "Besides, I think you look adorable like that" -

In a matter of seconds, Morgan lost total control of the situation. There she was, alone, in the middle of the night, holding onto one of her enemies and blushing like a simple farmgirl. She couldn't allow this to happen, she had to keep her honor as Queen of Fairie Britain.

She knew she had to stop this from going on, yet instead of moving away from him, she kept dancing alongside him. The music never stopped, and now it was Ritsuka who was leading, and Morgan could do nothing but follow in his steps.

Soon, the music calmed down Morgan's thoughts. She stopped thinking about needing to get away, and instead found herself enjoying the situation, with a smile forming in her face without her even knowing.

While dancing, Morgan placed her head on Ritsuka's chest, with the boy looking at this and smiling.

"She looks really cute…" - he said to himself as they continued to move, following the music.

In that moment, in that room, the King and Queen of Fairie Britain enjoyed a calm and sweet dance. Then, the music came to an end, and they stopped moving and looked each other in the eyes.

"I… I forgot how good of a dancer you were, my Husband" -

"You're rather good as well, my Wife" -

There it was again, "My Wife". Morgan wasn't sure why, but hearing those words come out of Ritsuka's mouth made her feel… Happy?

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Now, let us return to the bedroom, we need to get sleep for tomorrow" - Morgan said as she headed towards the door.

"Morgan, wait?" -

"What's the matter?" -

"There's something else I want to do with you" -

"Really? What is it?' -

Without thinking twice, Ritsuka grabbed Morgan… And kissed her.

The Queen didn't know why, but as soon as Ritsuka's lips touched hers, she lost all strength, and could do nothing but follow up on the kiss.

"I want… For us to be one…" -

That caught Morgan by surprise, but there was something inside her, something she hadn't felt in years, something that pushed her to say…

"Yes" -

Hand in hand, they started to make their way back to their room.
