"Where is she? She'd said she'd be here by seven." "Relax Raph, I'm sure she has more important things to do than hang out with you," Leo teased. "That was so funny I forgot to laugh," Raph responded dully. He looked over the roof of the building. There was a traffic jam below. He walked back to his brothers. "You know, you wouldn't be so worried about her if you weren't in loooove with her," Mikey said. "Hey I'm not in love with her," Raphael snapped, "I just kinda like her that's all. At least I have a better chance with her than Donnie has with April." Donnie scowled and said "Hey I have a chance with April. C'mon guys, you think I have a chance with her, right?"
He looked desperately at Mikey and Leo. Leo shook his head and said "I'm not getting involved in this." Mikey scratched his head and said "What's the nicest way to say that you don't have a chance with her?" Donnie glared at Mikey. "What, I'm just asking on how to phrase this," Mikey said. "It's okay Donnie, not everyone can get a girl to like them," Leo said. "Oh, like your relationship with Karai is any different," Donnie replied. Raphael shook his head and said "Donnie, you couldn't be more wrong. What relationship?" "Well, at least I'm not afraid of stupid little bugs," Leo shouted.
"First of all, that's the lamest comeback I've ever heard," Raph said. "I can prove that," Mikey added. "Second of all it is a common and reasonable fear. They have way too many legs, eyes, and just look creepy." "Actually Raph, spiders are the ones that have more than two eyes," Donnie said. Raph rolled his eyes and said "Potato potahto." "Uh, no. Potato and totally different species." "Raph's right, they're basically the same thing. They crawl, they bite, and they freak out Raphie," Mikey said. "Don't call me Raphie," Raph threatened. "But Raph, it's so cute," Leonardo teased. "You better stop before I smack the sense out of you," Raph threatened.
"Why, you call me 'D' all the time. Do you know how annoying that is," Donnie said. "When have I ever done that?" "How about every single day, 'R,'" Donatello replied. "What about me. My nickname is 'Stupid,'" Mikey said. "I am so sorry that I'm mean." "More like grouchy." "More like Oscar the Grouch," Leo said. Raph imitated their talking with his hand and said "Bla, bla, bla, bla, bla. I'm so funny because can make references to TV shows." "Yes I do think I'm hilarious, thank you," Leo said with a bow. Raphael crossed his arms and frowned. Mikey lay down and said
"You know Raph; I can really see the connection between you and Oscar the Grouch. You both hate everyone, you're mean. You both hate everyone." Raph picked him up and raised his fist up to Mikey's face. "You know, it'd be nicer if I was Oscar the Grouch. I don't think he believes in maiming his brothers. Unfortunately I do." "How'd the conversation get to Sesame Street? I don't even know how that happened," said a voice. Raph let go of Michelangelo and turned around to see Karai crouching on the roof's ledge. "First it was all about love then bugs and nicknames and now it's about Sesame Street. Too bad you're my mortal enemies. If you weren't I'd probably sit down next to you guys and cheering you on to a fight. Oh well…" The turtles drew their weapons.
"What do you want Karai," Leo said. "Oh you know, the usual. Killing you guys, killing Splinter. Oh and Leo? You have as much as a chance with me as purple here has with April," she said. "Purple!? I have a name you know," Donnie said, "And I totally have a chance with April!" Karai pressed her hand against her ear and said "Yes I found them. No I'm just having a wonderful conversation with them. Rahzar, you're starting to sound like my dad." She lowered her hand and said "Look, I'd love to stay and chat but I got more pressing issues." She slid out her tantō. "Alright, I'm tired of this," Raph said and he attacked Karai head-on. She jumped back and slashed at him. He caught her blade with his sai.
"You're not going anywhere," Raph hissed. "Wasn't planning to." She flipped his sai and jumped over him and towards Mikey. Mikey narrowly avoided her attack. He jumped back and lost his balance and fell on the ledge of the roof. He turned around and saw a group of foot soldiers coming at them with Rahzar and Xever leading them. "Fishface! I haven't seen you in ages," Mikey shouted. He jumped off of the ledge and towards the group of ninjas. "Mikey," Leo shouted as he parried an attack from Karai, "Come back!" Too late. Mikey had already taken down a foot soldier and Donnie had already joined him. Leo slashed at Karai.
She blocked it easily and attacked back. "So, I heard your little bird friend was supposed to be here. What's her name, Crow," Karai asked. "How do you know about Crow," Raph said as he joined the fight. "She's been causing some trouble with the Kraang lately. Destroying their bases left and right. Did you know she trashed one only six days ago," Karai said as she attacked Raph. "Sorry, I missed that," Raph said as he threw Karai across the rooftop. "Know tell me, how did you know we were meeting her," Raph said as he knocked her on her back. "Tsoi told me. Purple Dragon thugs belong to us, remember?" She kicked Raph in the stomach and got up.
"Karai, why are you doing this," Leo said. Karai threw a shruiken at Leo and said "Doing what?" "Fighting us! I thought you knew the truth about us." He looked at her desperately. She scowled and said "Why are you always reaching out to me Leo? I don't care what happened back with the Kragatrons!" "Actually it's Kraathatrogons," Donnie said while fighting a foot soldier, "Thought you should know." "You guys just keep getting better and better each day," Karai groaned. "Aw thanks, that means a lot," Raph said as he elbowed Karai in the back. She stumbled towards the edge but caught her balance just in time. She wiped her mouth and lunged at Raphael.
