The Endless Waters.

Yukio walked towards Kuoh, tired and without having slept even a single minute last night. The boy had spent all his time in Dreams' training grounds, practicing his abilities and his swordsmanship. Good thing he was a Devil, if not he would've fallen asleep on the road by now.

Arriving at the entrance, he was met with Sona looking for him, until finally catching sight of the boy and waving with her hand, signaling him to come closer, which he did.

"I was trying to contact you all night, where did you go?" - she asked in an annoyed tone.

"I was training, I pulled an all nighter" -

"You're a reckless one, aren't you? Remember that you're a member of the Sitri Peerage, and you need to act like one" -

"I was training so I could be a better member. Not like I could've slept otherwise anyways, that thing about my sister kept me up" -

"What good is it going to make you keep obsessing over it? If there's no proof of her existence, there isn't any ways to track her down" -

"I know, but…" -

"I know this is very sudden for you Yukio, but I need you to be on top form today, I'll be leaving to visit someone and Tsubaki's going to join me, so you'll be staying alone here at Kuoh" -

"Visiting someone? Who?" -

"My sister. We'll be away for a few days at most, and while I would prefer to stay here and deal with a few unfinished business, I can't say no to her. I expect you to take good care while Tsubaki and I are gone" -

"Right, right. Don't worry, I'll be the best I can be" -

"I'd expect nothing less" -

Classes that day went by without any problem, except for the fact that Yukio was at times struggling to keep himself awake, yet the boy managed nonetheless, the curiosity of Sona's sister kept him awake.

After all, the sister of someone as dignified and royal-like as Sona Sitri would have to be as, if not more strict than her. Yukio imagined her like a princess, or a queen, someone who does everything right and punishes every mistake done by her followers. The mere thought of someone like that made him shiver.

After classes finished, the boy was getting ready to leave when he was suddenly interrupted by a hand on his shoulder, a hand which belonged to a girl with blonde hair and green eyes. He recognized her; she was a member of Rias' Peerage.

"Hi, can I help you with something?" - he asked, trying to be as polite as possible.

"Um… My name is Asia Argento, and I…" -

Even though he couldn't explain why, he felt… Strange, when looking at Asia.

"Dreams, this girl, I feel like she might have something in her…" -

"Good eye Yukio. I'm not sure why, but I can tell this girl has an affinity for dragons. I haven't seen anything like this since millennia ago" -

"Do you think she might be a Dragonmancer like myself and Kai'Sa?" -

"It's possible, but I also doubt it. No, this girl might not look like it, but she could become someone highly dangerous. I suggest keeping a close eye on her" -

"Um… Yukio San? Are you there?" -

Yukio got so distracted in his conversation with Dreams that he forgot about the girl in front of him.

"Ye-Yeah, what's up then?" - he said, ashamed.

"Well, I wanted to speak with you about something, it's about… The girl we met yesterday, that Kai'Sa" -

"She? What about her?" -

"I… Found her again…" -

"You… You did what?" -

Asia took Yukio by the hand and led him away from Kuoh and into the forest that was behind the Academy, walking through the trees until they arrived at a small pond in the middle of nowhere, which emitted a slow yet constant glow from deep below.

"And this place is…" -

"Step back, Yukio, now. I sense a dangerous presence from within that pond. It holds the power of one of the Dragons of old" -

"You mean Asia is right? Is the pond related to Kai'Sa and the Lagoon Dragon?" -

"It feels like it. I recommend that you…" -

"Oh, Asia, you brought him here, thanks for the help" - a voice came from the inside of the pond, and out of it came Kai'Sa - "Yukio, I was looking for you" -

"Why do I feel like it wasn't for a good reason" -

"I'm a bit hurt that you think I would do something bad to you. As some of the last remaining Dragonmancers, we need to take care of each other" -

"And why did you get Asia involved exactly? She's not a Dragonmancer like you and I, and if you really wanted to see me you could've just…" -

"Oh, right, Asia, please bring Issei here would you? He also needs to see this" -

"Alright, I'll be back" - and soon, she was gone, leaving Yukio and Kai'Sa alone.

"Well, now tell me, what was so important that you needed to seek me all the way over here?" -

"I'm surprised that you don't even have a clue, other Dragonmancers would've picked off on it already but it seems like yours hasn't been training you properly" -

"Just spill it already Kai'Sa, I'm not in the mood to deal with stuff like this" -

"In that case…" -

Kai'Sa then grabbed Yukio by the hand and slowly started to fall on her back, dragging the boy down with her as they fell into the pond. Sinking deep into the pond, Yukio soon noticed that the depth was unnatural, far too big, almost felt like he was diving into the depths of the ocean as light soon started to fade away from sight, the only source remaining being Kai'Sa's shining body.

"Hold your breath, we're almost there" - she said to him, unaffected by the deep waters that they were swimming through, while he was struggling to hold what little air he had left, until he saw… Light.

Emerging through the other side of the pond, the girl quickly threw him onto land to allow him to breath as she walked towards him - "Yeah, you need more training" -

"Where… Did you… Brought… Me… To!?" - he said as he tried to pull himself back together.

"Look for yourself, this is a world that was lost… Until now at least" -

Yukio turned to look in front of him, seeing a bright forest surrounding them, skies, purple in color made him feel like was somewhere safe, even if he couldn't explain why. Birds flew through the skies, the light breeze passed through his body, and the feelings of peace and calm overwhelmed him.

"Welcome, Yukio, to the Realm of the Ancient Dragons, or at least, what used to be" -

"Why… Why did you bring me here?" -

"You'll see. Come on, it's a long walk" -
