"Hey April," Cori greeted as she set her tray down at the lunch table. "Hi, Cori." "Hey Irma," Cori greeted. "Hi Cori. How's life," Irma said. "It's okay I guess. Got some bruises yesterday but I guess I'm okay." "You got bruises? I'm practically bleeding over here," Casey said. "Hey Casey," Cori said dully. Casey had a black-eye from fighting with the Foot last night. "You hang out together," Irma said as she took a bite out of her sandwich. "No!" "Yes!" Cori glared at Casey. "We weren't hanging out yesterday," Cori hissed. "We were totally hanging out yesterday. I don't know what you're, Ouch!"

Cori had stomped on his foot to shut him up. "What was that for," he shouted. Irma put down her sandwich and said "Well one of you is lying and it's clearly not Casey. So Cori, what are you hiding?" 'I'm not hiding anything," she said. She opened her milk carton and chugged it. "You're lying. You're avoiding eye-contact and you've brushed through your hair five times already. So what are you hiding? Do you have some type of skin rash that's on your hands so you always wear gloves? Or maybe you're mysophobic. Or do you have a secret crush on Casey so you act like you hate him," Irma questioned. Cori almost choked on her milk.

She coughed as April said "You're one for conspiracy theories lately aren't you?" "And why would I like her though, I mean. I think I could do better. Ow!" This time April had stomped on his foot. "Wow, um, those are all horribly wrong. Trust me, the last thing I would have a crush on would be Casey," Cori said at last. "Wait, so you do like me," Casey said. April face palmed herself as Irma went on with the questions. "So what were you doing last night then?" "Could you just quit already." "Oh no, I'm involved with this now," Irma said, "And your reactions are hilarious." "Alright, if you really want to know what happened, it goes like this. I beat Casey in a hockey match last night and he's mad about it. That's how he got the black eye. I hit him in the face with a puck," Cori said.

"What, that so did not happen. Ow! Would you stop that," Casey said as he glared at April. "It did so Casey, I got pictures to prove it," April said as she bit into an apple. "No you don't because… Oh, I mean whatever," Casey said after finally catching up with Cori and April. Irma didn't look convinced. "Hey April, can I see the pictures," she asked. "Can't, my phone's in my locker." "I don't believe either of you but I guess that's good for now," Irma said at last. "Hey April, will you come up with me to the snack line," Cori asked. "Sure." They both got up leaving Irma and Casey in silence. Cori crossed her arms and waited in the snack line with April.

"So you know what happened last night," she asked April quietly. April nodded. "I just can't believe Casey and Raph. Do you know what they did last night? They just chatted to each other while Mikey was in pain. And then Raph just when up to me and started to talk to me like he didn't even care." "That's not what Casey told me. He told me that Raph was freaking out. Asking him whether Mikey would be okay or not." Cori twitched her noise in annoyance as someone cut in line in front of her. "Besides, you know Casey is a terrible liar. And I don't think he'd lie to me," April continued, "Just give Raphael a chance. I know how it's like to hold grudges against the turtles. Because when you start doing that, you start hating yourself."

Cori opened up her mouth to say something but someone had started to talk to April. "Hey April. I haven't seen you in a while. I was on vacation. It was a Caribbean cruise," he said. "Hey Jared," April said with a sigh. He had golden hair which he spiked in the front and glasses that he pushed up his face constantly. He carried around with him a sketchbook and pens. "Oh April. I made this comic thing based off of Kirby. It's super cool. I started on vacation. See this one is a ghost witch. And this one is a Waddle Dee," he said as he pointed at different pages on his sketchbook.

"That's cool jared. Hey um I think Michel is calling you. You better go." Jared waved and said "Alright I better go. See you later." He walked over to a table with another boy about Jared's height but he had long brown hair. They talked excitedly about something. Cori smiled at April. "Is that you boyfriend," she teased. April blushed. "No, he's not my boyfriend! He's just a family friend that's all." "Oh yes. I'm sure that's true." "Oh, grow up," April said. She walked over to the snack counter and paid for a Rice Krispie.
