Cori slammed the dryer door close and leaned against a washing machine. "Well this is boring," she muttered to herself. "I know, I'd rather be fighting the turtles than this." She turned to her right and saw a young man, around his early twenty's. His hair was a dark brown that was almost black. It was tied back in a short braid. He was wearing an orange hoodie and ripped jeans. His eyes were a bright green color.
"Yori, what are you doing here," she asked him, "You didn't follow me, did you?" "No, it's just a wonderful coincidence," he replied. "The guys are gonna flip if they find out you're here. What am I gonna tell them, 'Oh hey this is my colleague that tells me about the Kraang's plans. Oh and by the way, he's Karai's most trusted ninja.' I'm sure they wouldn't freak out at all." "I know. I've been told I'm very pleasurable to meet," he said with a smile. Cori rolled her eyes and punched his arm. "Ow, watch it! I'm still sore from when the turtles beat me up the other day." "Hey, make sure to go easy on them. They're good guys," Cori said.
"Try telling them that. I'm starting to think I should quit considering I'm on the wrong side." "You love being a spy too much to do that." "That's true. I always wanted to be a spy when I was little. I didn't actually think I'd become one," he said, "By the way, why are the turtles here? I thought they only came out at night. Well, they usually do." "They're here to… escort me," Cori said with a frown. "Escort you," he said with an incredulous look, "Cori Faliva, also known as the infamous Crow, the person who doesn't take crap from anyone, needs an escort?" "Yeah, yeah, it's hilarious." "I mean, you never needed an escort before? Or maybe you just wanted an excuse to hang out with one of the turtles. Who is it? Donatello? Leonardo? Michelangelo? Or maybe it's Raphael, you know, the bad one."
Cori blushed as she said "No, it's just that. Things have gotten personal." "Oooh, you're doing the dark, mysterious voice again." "The Kraang has my mother," she said at last. Yori shut up immediately. He rubbed his neck and sighed. "Sorry. That must be rough. Listen, I could go digging around for you. Look for any recent activity with the Kraang." The stood there in silence, watching the dryers spin. Cori let out a sigh and said "Meet you in a week. See what you can find in that amount of time? If you find anything, meet me at the alleyway next to 24/7, that noodle place." Yori nodded but didn't say anything.
Cori chuckled and said "When you come here, do you wash your ninja outfit. I mean, what do people ask you when you're washing it?" He turned to her so that she could see his smile and said "That's actually happen before. Twice. The first time a little kid asked me if I was a ninja. I told him everything. But the next time an older man stopped me to talk about it. I said it was for Halloween, but it was in May so I guess that wasn't the best alibi." "You couldn't have said it was for a costume party," she said with a smile. Yori shrugged and said "I'll admit that I'm not the best improviser." "It's a miracle that no one found out you're a spy."
