Cori looked up at the rooftops. Donnie, Leo, and Mikey we're walking along by on the rooftops. Would you please go away? We just want to make sure you arrive safe. I think me and Raph are perfectly capable of defending ourselves. Besides, your friends aren't supposed to follow you on your date. Fine. She looked up and saw Donnie talking to the others. Finally the left leaving Raph and Cori in privacy. Cori let out a sigh of relief. "Are they gone now," Raph said. "Yeah."

They walked in silence for awhile until Raph finally said "This is stupid." "What?" "No, not the date. I just mean me having to wear this outfit." Cori smiled. The outfit did make Raph look ridiculous. He was wearing a large grey trench coat. His face was covered up by a scarf and a hat. "I mean, I can barely see," he joked. "I know, I just wanted to walk through the streets than running on the rooftops," she said. "Well, it's different. Even though I've been living here for about sixteen years, I barely know where I'm going. If I was on the rooftops, I'd know exactly where I am, but on the street it's like a whole different world. If that makes any sense," he said. Cori shrugged.

"A little. It's like when my mom moves all the furniture in the apartment. It's still the same but just slightly different." Cori grew silent. "So, uh, where are we going," Raph said, breaking the silence. "24/7. We're both familiar with it." Raph nodded. "So, how's life," Cori said. Raph looked surprised but then said "Okay I guess. I mean, we haven't run into the Shredder for awhile. I'm on a date with you. It's pretty good." "Pretty good? I thought going on a date with me would be fantastic," Cori joked.

"It is actually. I'm kind of glad you found out I like you. I probably would've never been on this date." "Well, when you're mentally connected to a turtle, there's not a lot of secrets you can't keep from me. Just don't tell Donnie what you don't want me to know. Or April." Finally they arrived at 24/7. Cori was about to open up the door when she heard a familiar voice. "Cori?" "Yori!" "Who?"

Yori stood there in the shadows of the alley. He was wearing his ninja outfit. "Don't tell me you forgot about me," he teased. "Cori, look out, he's a Foot soldier," Raph said as he pulled out his sais. Cori ran in front of Raph and said "Relax, he's a friend." "A friend!? He's part of the Foot!" "Why'd you bring one of the turtles," Yori asked, "Did you really forget?" "Yes I forgot, better," Cori said. "Forgot what? What's going on," Raph asked. "Raph, this is my colleague Yori. He's the one who gets me the information about the Kraang," Cori explained. "Are the other turtles around," Yori asked. "Why would I tell you that," Raph hissed. "I was talking to the lady. You know, the one that isn't a walking tank," Yori said.

"Alright, that's it!" Cori held Raph back as he tried to attack Yori. "Would both of you stop!" "He started it," Raph said. Cori pushed Raph back so she could talk to Yori. "The others aren't here. Why?" "Because there's going to be a massive ambush on them. There's a rumor going around that Shredder might even show up but Karai said that he's not coming," Yori explained. "When," Cori asked. "Tonight." Cori quickly pulled out her phone and dialed Donnie's number. Donnie answered almost immediately. "Cori, now's a bit off a—" "Donnie, we have to go back to the lair. Karai is planning to ambush you guys."

"Yeah, no kidding," Donnie replied. Cori heard Leo shout something from the phone but couldn't fully understand it. "Listen, you need to get back to the lair." "Like that's going to happen." "Cori, right now we need you to be safe. Going to fight with us isn't exactly safe." "Donnie, where are you at," Raph asked. "We're near April's school. But Raph, make sure to get Cori back to the lair." "Yeah, sure." "Alright, and don't worry about us. We'll be fine. We'll be at the lair as soon as we can," Donnie reassured. After that he hung up.

Cori shoved her phone back in the jacket's pocket and walked up to Yori. She held out her hand and said "Give me your tonfa." "What?" "I know you use tonfas. And I just so happen to use tonfas. So give them to me." Yori sighed and pulled out the tonfas. He placed them in Cori's hand. "I want your katanas too." "What!? Those are custom-made! You don't even know how to use them!" Cori glared at him. "Fine… But I want those back," he said as he handed over the katanas.

Cori strapped the katanas to her back and pulled over the hood of her jacket. She began to climb fire escape; half expecting that Raph would stop her. "Aren't you going to say how I should go back to the lair and how it's not safe?" Raph shrugged. "Yeah, but you were really persistent and I had to let you fight with us. If only there was something I could do about it." Despite the seriousness of the situation, Cori couldn't help but crack a smile.
