Finally after a month and a cliffhanger, I have finally uploaded a new chapter! Also sorry if I'm not very active. I'm a BIG procrastinator and Markiplier isn't helping me stop so yeah. And if you have any questions about the story (Characters, plot, etc.) you can ask either in a comment or PM. Just so you know.

Cori's eyes fluttered open by the sound of a loud beeping and… Snoring? She was too tired to move so she laid there looking at the ceiling. For some reason unknown to Cori, she couldn't figure out where she was, or what happened. She remembered something about Yori and some restaurant called 24/7 but nothing after that. Cori cringed at the beeping sound. It disoriented her thoughts and made her head hurt. Whenever she tried to tune it out it would get louder and louder. And whoever was snoring wasn't helping. "How can anyone sleep through this," Cori whispered weakly.

She tried sitting up but every time a sharp pain would shoot through her back, making it impossible to move. She fell back onto her bed making her bounce. Cori groaned in annoyance. The noise wasn't getting any less obnoxious. Cori gazed at the ceiling until she realized she could wake up whoever was snoring to shut up the beeping noise. "Stupid," she told herself. She turned her head to her left to see Raph sleeping. He was sitting on a chair with his legs and arms crossed. His head was tilted to one side.

"Raph," Cori said in a raspy voice. "Do I really sound like that? I sound awful." Cori cleared her throat and tried to speak again. "Raph," she said a little louder. "Raph. Raph!" Raph didn't respond. Cori groaned and reached for her pillow. She grabbed it and pulled it from under her head. Her arm was in pain but she didn't care. She just wanted it to be quiet. Cori swung her arm back and threw the pillow at Raph. It hit him right in the face.

Raph jumped and fell off his chair with a loud thud. "Sorry…" Raph pulled himself off the floor and looked around angrily. "Mikey so help me if—" He stopped and stared at Cori. "You're awake," he said quietly.

"Yeah but Raph can you—" "We were so worried," Raph interrupted. "We didn't know when you'd wake up." "That's nice but can you—" "I have to tell Donnie. He has medicine or something for you." "Raph can you— Wait, what do you mean you didn't know when I'd wake up." Raph gave her an incredulous look. "You don't… Don't remember?" "Well if I did I wouldn't be asking." "I'll be right back," Raph said as he left.

Cori laid there dumbfounded. She didn't care about the beeping noise anymore. Cori didn't understand what Raph was talking about. Why did she need medicine? Why was everyone worried about her sleeping? Did she have to be somewhere? She tried to recall what happened after she saw Yori at 24/7 but her mind was blank. She heard footsteps and tried to sit up. Like before, she fell back down.

"Cori," she heard a familiar voice shout. "Donnie," Cori said without lifting up her head. Donnie looked down over her and smiled. "You're awake; I have to tell the others!" "Wait Donnie what—" "Why is your pillow on the floor," Donnie asked. "She threw it at me," she heard Raph say. Cori watched Donnie as he picked the pillow off of the floor and laid it gently under her head.

"Donnie what happened—" "Here let's help you up." Donnie helped Cori sit up against the wall. Cori grimaced in pain as Donnie helped her up. "Donnie what's—" "Raph can you get the first-aid kit in my lab. Raph nodded and left the room. "Donnie, what the heck is—" Cori heard someone running down the hall. Mikey almost ran past the room. He stopped and ran inside. "Crow! You're awake! Dog pile!" "MIKEY NO!" Mikey made an annoyed face as he said "Fine. I guess I'll hug her instead." "Would you leave her alone!? She has to recover." "She has to recover," Mikey said in a mocking tone. "I DON'T SOUND LIKE THAT," Donnie shouted angrily. "I don't sound like that." "STOP IT!"

"Mikey stop annoying Donnie," Leo said as he walked into the room. He leaned on the doorway and smiled at Cori. "It's good to see you awake." Cori opened her mouth to say something when Raph walked in carrying a large box with a cross on it. "Here you go D." "Don't call me that!" Donnie set the box on the chair and opened it. "Glad to see you didn't die," Mikey said as he patted her shoulder. "Mikey," the three brothers said in unison. "What? I'm just saying I'm glad she didn't die. Are you saying you want her to die?" "Would someone tell me what's going on," Cori finally managed to shout, "And someone turn off that awful beeping sound already!"

Mikey leaned over to the dresser and pressed a button on the clock. The shrill beeping noise stopped at last. "Thank you, now would someone please tell me what is going on!" Leonardo gave her a confused look. "You don't remember do you?" Cori rolled her eyes as she replied sarcastically "No, that's why I've been asking everyone for the past ten minutes."

"Remember that fight on the rooftops," Donnie said as he rummaged through the box, looking for something. "No." "Well there was a fight. A pretty bad one. And you weren't supposed to be there," Donnie explained. He turned and glared at Raph. "What? She wanted to come and fight," Raph defended. "Anyways," Leo said, "You got hurt pretty bad and you passed out. You haven't been awake for three days." "Three days," Cori said in disbelief. "God my breath must be rancid." "Out of all the things you could be worrying about, you choose to worry about your breath," Raph teased, "You're crazier than I thought." "When did you start to think I was crazy?"

Donnie held a cup with a dark purple liquid in it in front of Cori's face. "Here drink this," he said. Cori grabbed it out of his hand and looked at it. "This isn't toxic, is it?" "Just drink it." Cori hesitantly raised it to her lips. She took a sip and grimaced. It was probably the most disgusting thing she has ever tasted. She resisted the urge to spit it back out and swallowed. "I'm pretty sure you lied about the toxic part," she said weakly. "It can't be that bad," Mikey said, looking curiously at the medicine. "Pretty bad," Cori replied. She looked at Donnie with a sad expression on her face. "All of it," Donnie said. Cori sighed and chugged the medicine down. She shivered in disgust. "That wasn't that bad was it," Donnie said. "Yes it was."

"Cori!" April ran into the bedroom and hugged Cori. "April stop, you're hurting me," Cori said. "Sorry!" "How come April gets to hug Crow but not me!" "How are you feeling," April asked. "Uh like crap but otherwise pretty good." "Where'd you guys all go? Oh." Leo moved aside to let Casey and Splinter in. "Jones." "Faliva." "It is good to see you awake at last Cori," Splinter said. "Thanks."

Cori felt something cold touch her forearm. She looked to see Donnie dabbing the spot with alcohol. "Donnie what are you— OW!" Without warning Donnie stabbed her arm with the syringe. "DONNIE," Cori yelled in protest. "What, you want to get sick?" "I'd like a little warning next time!" Donnie shrugged and started packing things in the first-aid box.

"So Crow, did you have any cool dreams? I had a dream where—" "Perhaps we should let Cori rest," Splinter suggested. "Fine," Mikey groaned. Slowly they followed Splinter out of the room. Raphael hung back and stood in the doorway. Without looking to her he said "Call if you need anything." He closed the door quietly behind him as he left. "Don't leave," Cori said quietly to herself.
