"Ta da!" I said as I showed Crow the Shellraiser. She gave me a questioning look and asked "And you can drive this?" Okay Mikey, there's two ways you can answer this. You could be completely honest and say you have no clue how to drive it because honesty is the best policy or having one of the best times of your life. There's only one right choice. "Yes," I said. She raised an eyebrow. "Would I lie to you?" "I'm not sure." "C'mon, it'll be fine," I reassured her.

"THIS IS NOT FINE!" I have no clue what she was talking about. This was the best time of my life! Nothing could beat this! Except maybe for that time I infested Raph's room with cockroaches. Or dyed Raph's mask pink. Or pelted Raph with water balloons. Or that time when Raph—

"MIKEY THE ROAD! THE ROAD, LOOK OUT," Crow shrieked. "What are you talking about?" I looked over my shoulder to see Crow hold on the seat for dear life. I don't understand what her problem is. This is awesome! "MIKEY WATCH OUT!" I turned back to the road to see I wasn't actually on the road anymore. I swerved the Shellraiser back onto the road before I could cause further carnage. I put my foot on the brakes and breathed a sigh of relief when it stopped.

I turned around and smile sheepishly at Crow. "That wasn't that bad, was it?" Maybe that wasn't the right choice of words because Crow looked like she was about to hit me over the head with her crutch. Man, I've never seen anyone this mad since I accidently threw away Raph's comics. Or was it magazines. I don't know, they're practically the same thing. "I'm walking home," Crow said as she stood up. "What!? Why?"

"Gee, I don't know. Maybe I want to live! I thought you said you could drive this thing."

"I can."

"Sure doesn't look like it."

"I didn't say I could drive well!"

"No no, don't leave!" Crow stood up and was starting to head over to the door. "Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaase," I said. I kneeled down and looked up at her with big puppy dog eyes. She squinted at me. "But you're terrible at driving." "You can drive," I said with a sniffle. Crow looked at me for a long time until she finally said "Fine." Yes, nailed it! Michelangelo saved the day once again!

She walked over and sat down in the driver's seat. She had a pained expression on her face as she started driving. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. I mean she still needs to recover right? But she'd be totally bummed if I didn't do this. But what if she still is totally bummed? I mean I get kinda bummed whenever I have a fight with one of my brothers. Maybe it's the same type of thing. Should I talk to her? "Mikey." "Huh." "Could you please stop hovering over me?" "Oh," I said awkwardly, "Right."

I shuffled away quietly and sat in my chair. I sat there for what felt like hours in awkward silence. Ugh I'm soooooooo bored. How long does it take to get to Crow's house? I'm gonna die from boredom. I started spinning my chair, trying to make my life somewhat less boring at the moment. I did this for awhile until I heard Crow mumble "What are you doing?" I shrugged. "I don't know. Spinning I guess." Crow took her eyes off the road and stared at me. I didn't really know what to do so I started spinning again.

Crow rolled her eyes and chuckled. "What," I asked. "Nothing," she said with a laugh. "Tell me!" "It's nothing it's just… nothing." Crow looked away and sighed. She sounded sad. She must be pretty upset because her shoulders were tense. I probably should talk to her. She's been through a lot. I stopped spinning and looked at her. "Is there… something wrong?" Crow laughed, but it wasn't a happy one. Like one of those sad ones where you just don't feel anything and the only thing you can do is laugh.

"Of course something's wrong! Something's always wrong." I sat still, waiting for her to continue. "I mean, I'm being hunted by some alien species, I don't know where my mom is, I just ruined my only friendship with an actual normal person, and all of my best friends are freaks!" The Shellraiser screeched to a stop as she slammed the breaks. Was that what she really thought of me? I know I'm not human but I thought it would be okay. But I guess it's not. She must have read my mind because she looked at me with large eyes. "Mikey, I'm… I'm so sorry," she said quietly, "I didn't mean it." Crow rested her head on the steering wheel. "You would have been better off if you never met me."

I didn't say anything. I was too shocked by what she said. I was expecting her to say she was better off without me, but she didn't. I shouldn't be shocked by this but I am for some reason. Slowly I stood up and walked over to her. "Crow?" She looked up at me, her eyes full of tears. "You're not terrible. You-You're pretty great. And I think that if I never met you, life would kind of suck. Who am I supposed to geek out with and punch Kraang with? My brothers are great and all…" I looked at her and smiled. "But there's only one Cori." She sat there, staring at me. She wiped the tears out of her eyes and said "Wow Mikey, when did you become so cheesy?"

Crow smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back. "You just ruined a beautiful moment." She started laughing. Not a sad one but a clear happy one. I guess I just saved the day a second time.

"Hurry up already!" "I'm trying but it's hard to pick locks with three fingers," I whispered to Crow. We finally reached her apartment, and it took forever to get up the fire escape. The only problem now was the locked window. And I can't break it because "I'm a ninja and ninjas are supposed to be quiet," bla bla bla. But this window is really testing my patience right now. I heard a clicking noise as the window unlocked. "FINALLY!" "Shhhh be quiet," Crow scolded me. "Sorry."

I slid the window open and crawled through. It was darker than I thought in the apartment. How come there aren't any lights. Maybe Crow forgot to pay the electric bill. I should ask. "Hey Crow did you pay the—" "Hold this." She handed me the crutch I made for her and slowly started to crawl through the window. I looked down at the crutch. Hmmm maybe I did put too much glitter on it. "Mikey, give me the crutch please this is kind of painful," Crow said as she started walking around the room. I handed her the crutch and followed her.

"So what are you looking—OOOOOWWWW," I yelled as I ran my foot into something hard. "Shhhhh keep it down!" "Sorry," I whispered in pain, "It's just my foot is probably internally bleeding." "Don't be such a wimp." I heard something making a noise but I wasn't sure what it was. Maybe it was the Kraang. Or a monster! "Crow did you hear that?" "That was me." I heard her rummaging through stuff. "Found it!" A bright light flashed in the room nearly blinding me. Man it would suck to be blind.

"Hold this," she said as she handed me a flashlight. "So, why exactly are we here?" I looked around the room, it looked like a bedroom. Probably Crow's. "Just for stuff. And close the window it's freezing outside." I was going to close the window when I heard a shattering noise and a loud thud from the other room. I froze and stayed quiet. "Turn off the lights and hide," Crow whispered. I fumbled around with the flashlight and finally turned it off.

I stood next to the door in her room. I watched Crow while she open the door just a crack. She stood there for awhile until she opened the door completely. She signaled for me to follow as she slowly approached the area where the sound came from. Crow stopped suddenly. "What," I asked. Was it the Kraang? Shredder? SQUIRRELS WITH LASER GUNS!? She didn't say anything. Slowly she took a step forward. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Wait, what if it's a squirrel? With lasers!?" "Whatever it is it isn't a squirrel…" "What do you mean—" I turned on the flashlight and shined it on whatever Crow was looking at. "Who's that?"
