Chapter 8- Memories, Frogs, and Eva-dropping
Aiden's POV
Aiden grinned and sat down next to Caleb, a few minutes after Caleb'd joined the Ravenclaw house, Aiden too was sorted in. Alex was sorted into Hufflepuff quickly. Aiden glanced over at Caleb and Corey. "Who the hell are you Caleb Hudson, and why are you here?" Aiden sighed as Caleb began to explain. "And why we're here, well, we're here on a classified mission Weinel, and then we suddenly find you, and I am-" Aiden interjected and gave him a look, "And you've been missing for a bit. One day after band camp you just disappeared. When we find you, your memory is just gone. You don't have your hair streaks, which if you came on this mission ya'd refuse to temporarily dye them because you're so proud of 'em, and we'd tell ya you'd have to, you would go full on Universal on us because Harry Potter, and Percy Jackson now, apparently, are your favorite universes. You would hide your wings with magic like us and we'd probably let you keep your streaks. The only one who can do this is Macy, and she and Paul, her boyfriend, were just as panicked as we were and actually started the search party for you. Do you remember anything now?"
Corey went pale and nodded slightly, "I remember Ducky. The Universal incident. Vaguely something about a frog named Fabio?" Caleb breathed a sigh of relief and Aiden grinned. "I broke Fabio's leg by accident last year. Ha, sorry Hannah. Anyways, what do you remember about Ducky?" Aiden asked. "They have long-ish brown hair, glasses, they have the blue streaks of marching band and are some sort of duck-hippogriff thingy. They're also like my older sibling. That's it." Caleb hugged them and Corey blushed, "I also remember the end of Mid-States Championship.. Please tell me Alix didn't frame that picture." Aiden grins, "Oh she did. The Short Rat managed to get it up really high and drill it into the wall."
Leo PoV
"Hey, death boy, get over here." "What?" "So I got bored and made this eavesdropper thing. Listen to Eva's conversation. Something weird is up." Nico rolled his eyes, "Fine." "Trust me. It's wacky." "...Vaguely something about a frog named Fabio?" "I broke Fabio's leg by accident last year. Ha, sorry Hannah. Anyways, what do you remember about Ducky?" "They have long-ish brown hair, glasses, they have blue streaks of marching band and are some sort of duck-hippogriff thingy. They're also like my older sibling. That's it." "I also remember the end of the Mid-States Championships. Please tell me Alix didn't frame that picture." "Oh she did. The Short Rat managed to get it up really high and drill it into the wall."
Nico looked at him, "What the hell was that?" "Listen, I don't know either. They mentioned the books we're in, which still freaks me out, but apparently Eva has wings? And she's been missing since band camp one day, and they're all some sort of hybrid? We have to tell someone." "Really Valdez? Really?" Leo rolled his eyes and Nico sighed, "Let's tell Annabeth. Does your thing record stuff?" "No. No it does- Of course it does! Also, I want to find out who Fabio is. And Alix apparently is short like me."

"Valdez, you are going to create an everything-proof microphone and plant it on Eva. Not on her robes, but on her glasses. That way the info will transmit back to us without someone constantly being around her." "You got it Annabeth," Leo fiddled around with some parts, and five minutes later, it was "Done." "Great. Now go plant it." Leo nodded, and when she dropped her glasses, Leo picked them up, put the device on it, and said, "Here, I got it for ya." They would soon find out everything they needed to know about this stranger. Another odd thing was, when Eva tried to walk up the steps to the girl's dorms, they turned into a slide and slid her down. She jumped up and another set of stairs appeared, labeled, 'OTHER.' Leo shrugged it off and headed to his dorm. This strange girl (or not girl) was truly a mystery.
