Okie dokes...Let's stop getting sentimental(for now at least...there's always time for that later) and get on with the chappy~ I do not own Pokemon or Undertale.

3rd P.O.V

There was something to be said about the woman down here in the Underground. "How dare you!" When they get pissed, it was a terrifying thing to see as it felt like an aura surrounded their very being.

At least that's what Frisk though as she stared at Ms. Rosemary. Like her mother Toriel, Rosemary had a dangerous glint in her eye that made the two thieves shiver with fear. It lasted only a moment however, they shook it off.

"Look lady-there's nothing to see here. Why don't you take the brat and like go away. We're so totally busy here." Catty chimed in, hand on her hip as she glanced her partner's way. "Or we could seriously like steal their pokemon. That stupid kid, and the guy with the tacky rainbow scarf aren't here."

Bratty's eyes widened as largely as her grin. "That is such an idea awesome Catty~ Let's do it. Gooo grambull!" Nodding Catty brings out her own pokeball, copying her friend. "Like help us out glameow!"

A huff escaped Rosemary, to think despite her retirement she still found herself dealing with obnoxious teens who think they knew everything. Especially these two. "Honestly Bratty and Catty-all these years and you choose a life of crime? I'm so disappointed." Both girls pause for a second.

Not sure how she knew them. Crossing her arms the elder resigned herself 'into doing what she and everyone else down underground knew best. She glances down at the ten year old with a small smile.

"Well then, I suppose we have no choice sweetheart. You ready?" Frisk nodded, filled with determination she takes out a pokeball. "Go Pincer!" Bratty and Catty look at each other. "Wait. She has a fucking bug type!? Ewwww! What is with you brats and gross pokemon!?"

They chose Snowdin territory Specifically so they WOULDN'T have to deal with bug types. Of course that fear and squeamish depletes when they realize what Pincer really was.

A krabby. "Are you like totally fucking serious right now?" Pincer when he came out was ironically still in a crabby mood due to being unable to complete his match with Napstablook's seel. Flashing its claws at the cat and dog pokepair. Ready to release all of its pent up frustration.

Thing were a bit different for his master. Frisk was nervous, anxious beyond belief. Here she was facing against people that was supposedly evil bad guys that her brother and friend struggled to face.

But she refused to turn and flee. They were horrible, hurting people and pokemon. She would rather be chased by a legion of bear pokemon then let them get away with their crimes.

"Like do you really think you have a chance against us? You are SO going down." This would be her first double battle, unlike a one on one battle she now has to be aware of double the opponents, and has to use moves that work with Rosemary.

Who was currently fuming from ear to ear. Frisk was sure she was seeing steam vent through the shop owner as she brought forth her pokemon. "We so like have this in the bag Catty!" Rosemary simply jutted her chin in defiance-she with Frisk's help would prove them wrong.

"Hurry up you old hag! Bring out your pokemon so we can like start already." There was a slight twitch in said 'old hag's' eye. "Hmph-still haven't learned any manners, let alone patience. Come forth old friend!" Frisk couldn't take her eyes off it. It was just too cute.

Jumpluff the Cottonweed pokemon and the evolved form of skiploom. Using warm winds jumpluff travel all throughout the world-scattering cotton spores. Due to the lack of wind and space, jumpluff are not able to populate underground.

The last bit of her pokedex entry startled the little trainer. If jumpluff aren't supposedly found underground-how did Rosemary acquire one? "Like we'll be totally nice and let you go first. We're just so sweet, right Catty?"

As if hearing little Frisky's thoughts and ignoring the pair's banter, the store owner shot the little girl a wink. "The sweetest Bratty~" Not at all concerned about losing the battle Rosemary offers a small smile.

"Let's see if I remember how to do this hm? Jumpluff use cotton spore!" The little grass pokemon nodded with a war cry, bouncing off the snow to shower the two enemy pokemon.

Rosemary kept her voice low, making sure only Frisk could hear. "Try to slow them down and have them struggle with status effects. If we can keep them off balance we can finish them without too much trouble quickly."

Agreeing with her senior, Frisk points towards the dog/cat pair. "Pincer use mud shot! Aim for their eyes." Obediently Pincer hits his targets, kicking up slush. The cat and dog pokemon started screeching in pain.

In vain granbull and glameow rubbed at their eyes, it hard for them to see, let alone focus on a counter attack. "Excellent, they're distracted with their accuracy down. Now jumpluff use poison powder on glameow!" For being such a small little blue pokemon with puff balls-it moved pretty fast.

Easily able to engulf the feline in the toxic powder. "Hey-stop that!" Catty could only watch in horror as her precious kitty-cat was whining in pain. Quickly the raven haired villain searched her pockets. Desperate.

"Please tell me you got some antidotes or berries on you!" Bratty could only shake her head in dismay. She had her own problems to worry about. "Come on granbull! Snap out of it!"

This was not going as planned. "Vice grip the granbull Pincer." Frisk showed them no mercy, and neither did Pincer as he vigorously pursued the bulldog. Landing a harsh super effective critical blow onto the larger pokemon.

"No!" Though granbull hung on, the large dog was panting, extremely weak and barely holding on. Team Gold Digger was starting to get pissed. "Like that's it! Glameow use furry swipes on the krabby."

They felt like they were back in their school days, being played like rookies. "Let's like go granbull! Tag team and headbutt that stupid krabby!" Before either pokemon could spring into action, Rosemary's pokemon hopping in front of it's poke-partner.

"Rage powder." Neither could dodge as both were hit with another strange powder substance. "Mrow?" This time it being a red color. "Ruff." Bratty and Catty's pokemon turned their gazes immediately onto jumpluff-ignoring their trainers' orders. "What the hell!?" Frisk furrowed her brows.

Never having heard of that move before. "Ugh guys what are you doing!? Aim for the krabby!" A small chuckle escaped Rosemary as her pokemon bounced and fluttered from it's foes.

Smiling as if it were simply playing a game of tag. "Orders are meaningless girls. Rage powder forces those under effect to attack the one who used it. Their eyes are set only on jumpluff." Frisk couldn't help but watch in awe.

Her poke-partner was an incredible strategist. Slowed down her opponents, knowing they wouldn't be able to keep up as soon as the rage powder was put into effect. Looks like there was still more for her to learn.

"Pincer use harden-then use stomp!" It just wasn't granbull's lucky day as a swift hit and it was ko'd. Swirls were easily shown in it's eyes before it fully collapsed into the ground...defeated. "Shit!" Glameow wasn't much better off. "End this with giga drain."

With it's poisoned state, the furball found itself growing weaker and weaker as it sprinted after jumpluff, only to join it's comrade on the snowy floor, knocked out for the count. "No!" Team Gold Digger were starting to panic now. "Go-gothita teleport!" They horribly underestimated them.

Though for a second, a sense of familiarity caught Bratty and Catty as they were leaving. "We-we won't forget this!" Memories of the past they repressed so long ago reemerged...just for a moment.

"Well, that's that I suppose." The two girls disappeared, leaving behind the bear pokemon, the poor cubchoo was still crying, on the ground now. "Here deary." Rosemary softly approached the little baby. Giving it affectionate pets to quell it's little sobs.

Frisk stayed where she was, her hand petting Eve's head as she fearfully stared at the beartic. "It's ok Frisk. They won't hurt you." Despite Rosemary's reassurances the little girl stayed where she was.

She did a good deed, stopping the bad guys even though she still had her bear-phobia. However, it had seemed cubchoo had other plans. As Rosemary left it be to release beartic...it crawled forward, towards her. "Uh-um...Ms. Rosemary?"

The elder turned slightly, surprise in her features as the ice pokemon sat in front of Frisk-it's hands up. The gesture left Rosemary laughing. "It want's you to pick it up sweetie." Her gaze switched between cubchoo, Rosemary, and the beartic. Unsure what she should do.

Last time she tried interacting with it, she was chased right into town by its parent. Though this time, as she cautiously picked it up, she heard no warning growl-no roar of rage.

Instead, the beartic sat on its haunches. Waiting. "I think beartic trusts you Frisk. Seeing how it watched you stop a pair of thieves from stealing its baby away." To prove her point, the bold old woman reaches forth, petting the large evolved pokemon.

And...beartic allowed it, even nudging her hand as if encouraging it! It was then fluffy arms wrapped around the trainer's small thin frame. Cubchoo was hugging her! At first Frisk stiffened, still waiting for the sound of disapproval. But it never came, and its fur felt so soft. She couldn't resist.

Rosemary couldn't help but smile softly as the ten year old carefully rubbed her fingers up and down the baby bear's back. Frisk wasn't going to get over her phobia over night...however this was a step in the right direction. It felt nice knowing that for once she wasn't going to be running for her life.

"Ok Frisk. I think it's time for us to say goodbye." Understanding cubchoo was gently placed down, and Frisk watched as it scuttled over to its parent. Together the family left, and she could only feel relief. "We still need to gather some berries. You still up for that?"

Nodding she eagerly reached for Rosemary's open hand. "Yes please!" The store owner had hoped that would be her reply. "By the way Ms. Rosemary...how did you know the bad guys? Max said he knew them because he used to be their friend. But how do you?"

A frustrated sigh escaped the elderly woman. She was getting way too old to be dealing with such nonsense, especially from those two. She looked onwards as she spoke, soon they would be at her little berry garden.

"Back a decade or so ago-before I took over my family's store, I was a teacher and gym leader. Max, Bratty and Catty were some of my students-whom I always had to keep an extra eye on." Actually that wasn't true. It wasn't Max she had to watch out for.

He was(and still is) an absolute dear. Bratty and Catty on the other hand...they were always getting into mischief. More than once the two would be staying after class, being lectured and punished for their rude behavior.

They were little rascals, but she still cared for them. She watched them grow, acting more like a parent then their actual biological kin did. To see them after all these years as criminals truly saddened and disappointed her.

"Should I find them here again. They will remember just how menacing I can be. Oh speaking of which, I have something for you." Reaching into her bag, she brings out an old leather book.

Handing it to the girl. "Knowing Toriel, she gave you a hefty education, however this is a book I wrote back in the day as a teacher for my students who were interested in different strategies and battle plans with pokemon. Maybe it will be useful." Eagerly, tiny hands grab for the book.

Useful it shall be. Frisk was amazed with her and jumpluffs teamwork. Each move was timed to perfection, and Rosemary didn't even need Frisk's help! If she was a past gym leader, then there was no doubt that she could've taken them down.

"Thank you." She would cherish the book, scan every page. Even if she couldn't master every battle plan, it could give her some new ideas. Something to experiment with especially since she was soon going to be battling Robin.

to be continued
