Ascending through the skylines was a Revocs helicopter with a cage hanging on it, and in that cage contained the newly mutated Ryuko Matoi, who had just been captured by Rei. Ryuko felt a feral mix of wrath and confusion as the plane hovered though a wide gate of one of the buildings.
As the plane came to a stop and lowered itself and the cage onto the floor, a door opened and the bright rainbow hues of Ragyo's hair filled the dark room. As she entered the room, she soon got a good look at Ryuko's new mutated bloody form and clapped in approval.
"This being...it's amazing!" Ragyo said.
Rei soon got out of the helicopter and cautiously approached the cage. "Lady Ragyo, might I ask...what are you going to do with her?"
Ragyo simply responded by giving a small grin, and she began to take the cage containing Ryuko with her, adding to Ryuko's chagrin..
Ryuko still continued to escape from her steel prison, only for Ragyo to give her a 'shush' sound as she pushed the cage through the halls of the Revocs headquarters.
Ragyo then saw Nui waiting for them with a happy smile, and Ryuko let out a loud monstrous screech as soon as she saw her.
"Are you glad to see me again Ryuko? Don't worry, you'll get to try and fight me in just a moment!" Nui giggled.
Ryuko responded with a furious hiss, but as she tried to attack Ragyo through the cage with her blade arm, she soon began to get mesmerized by the colorful glow of Ragyo's hair. Somehow, deep inside her feral mind, the sight of it was soothing.
The rage in Ryuko's glowing eyes soon faded away as she let out a curious growl. and Ragyo grinned wickedly at this, as she seemed to now have the beast under her control.
Meanwhile, back at the auditorium of Revocs headquarters in Osaka, a blinding rainbow glow filled the room as Ragyo Kiryuin entered the auditorium with Ryuko still in her large covered cage, covered in a tarp, with Rei and Nui following her.
"Gentleman, I ask you...what is clothing?" Ragyo said defiantly as the door opened and she stepped into the auditorium.
"Clothing is sin! The original sin!" Every Revocs worker said in unison.
Ragyo then smiled in delight at her workers all saying what they needed to say.
"Yes, clothing is sin. After eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge, Adam, ashamed of his nakedness, used a fig leaf to cover it..." Ragyo said as she approached the stage, the glow from her rainbow colored hair shining brightly as she took each step.
"From the moment that humans gained free will, they had been destined to cover themselves in the clothing called sin!" Ragyo said triumphantly. The Revocs employees then all nodded their heads in agreement.
"The clothing made by Revocs is sold in 90% of the world, and very soon, it will be 100%! And why have we been so successful in selling clothes?" Ragyo stated.
"Because we bought out almost every single country's garment industries?" One worker said.
"Yes, but it's also because we know humankind's sin, and create clothing for clothings sake! And so I ask, what is clothing?"
Once she said that, Ragyo expected her daughter Satsuki to enter from the back and say that clothing was the world, the will that bound and covered everything. But she didn't show up. The entire auditorium just stood there wondering what clothing was.
"Ahem! I said.. What is clothing?"
A few more seconds passed by, and again, Satsuki did not arrive. There was nothing but deafening silence, leading the entire audience to just murmur questions.
"Hmmm, looks like my daughter is busy with other projects. Oh well."
"For the past thousands of years, clothing has remained stagnant, keeping humans as they were. But today, we embark on the most ambitious change in the entire history of the Revocs corporation, and the Kiryuin conglomerate!"
"I present to you, the true power and potential of clothing!" Ragyo declared.
She then pulled the tarp and revealed the mutated Ryuko in her cage, her yellow bloodshot eyes dull and lacking in rage. The entire auditorium looked on in shock and awe at the formerly human girl.
"Just what the heck is that thing, boss?" One Revocs worker asked.
"Allow me to show you all!" Ragyo smirked. Nui then unlocked the cage Ryuko was in, and once the door opened, her rage returned.
Ryuko unleashed a monstrous roar, and charged at the Revocs workers. She used her left arm to smash any Revocs worker in her path, while tearing apart chairs with her right arm's blade.
The workers all scrambled to get away from her strikes as Nui laughed in sheer delight.
Within a few minutes, the chaos had settled down. Ryuko was out of breath from attacking, she watched as the Revocs employees who had attended Ragyo's unveiling ran off in fear, her eyes aglow with red rage for a moment. Rei had also run away with the workers as well, unwilling to get crushed by Ryuko.
"Nui, I'm very pleased with you for making Ryuko Matoi take on Kamui Senketsu to its full potential..." Ragyo said as she looked over the mess Ryuko made of the Revocs auditorium and the employees.
"No need to thank me, Lady Ragyo!" Nui said while winking with her one eye.
"Now, how would you like for every single life fiber wearer to end up like Matoi?" Ragyo asked.
Nui's eye grew wide, and she let out a cheerful squeal of glee at that idea. "That would be so amazing! Question is, how are we gonna do that?" she asked to her creator.
"I think that some of her...DNA, would help." Ragyo said as she scraped off bits of her boiling blood from her aqua green skin and the huge armor of her left arm.
Meanwhile, Aikuro and Tsumugu were busy in his office, reflecting on what had just happened to Ryuko mere hours ago.
As they did, Tsumugu began to remember the horrible event of when Kinue was mutated into a monster through her kamui becoming too strong. "Goddamn it..." he said to himself. "I wish I hadn't let my guard down on trying to take away Matoi's kamui..."
"You're still thinking about Kinue, are you?" Aikuro asked.
"No. It's just...I should've stopped Matoi long before she mutated. But I let my guard down..." Tsumugu quietly said.
"There would've been a different outcome if you had.." Aikuro pointed out..
"Yeah? How?" Tsumugu asked.
"Ryuko wouldn't have opened up to Senketsu as much as she had if you took it from her..." Aikuro mentioned.
"Yeah, but she still got consumed by that thing and became a monster. And what's worse, she's now being held prisoner by the Kiryuins." Tsumugu added. "So who knows what kind of rampage she'll be doing..."
Aikuro shuddered upon thinking about the destruction that would be caused by Ryuko. "I know what you mean, but right now, our main focus is getting her back to normal, and somehow we will manage through this."
"And we won't be using the bullet on her. We've lost one kamui user to it already, we're not gonna make it two!"
That statement caused flashbacks to flash before Tsumugu's eyes once again, in which Dr. Matoi shot down Kinue with the Special Adhesive Bullet they tried to shoot Ryuko with earlier, much to his objection. But then those thoughts quickly dissipated as he went back to the main goal of curing Ryuko.
"Alright. But if we're gonna do this, you'll need to quit this whole 'nerdy history teacher' thing!" Tsumugu said.
Aikuro gave a nod of acknowledgement by immediately taking off his outfit and letting his full Nudist glory shine.
Later that night, Satsuki was relaxing in her castle with her butler Soroi. She was still in a bad mood following the mutation and capture of Ryuko by Nui.
"I'm sorry your tournament came to a rather bloody end, miss." Soroi said as he poured more tea into Satsuki's glass. He didn't see Ryuko's shocking transformation, but he heard about it from the Elite 4.
"It's alright." Satsuki said as she took a sip of her butler's famous tea.
"I know you wanted Matoi's daughter to help you with your goal of defeating Mistress Ragyo."
"It's just, what could mother want with Matoi? Why did Nui Harime make Matoi get consumed by her kamui?"
"I haven't the foggiest idea…." Soroi said. "Earlier you said that she had become possessed by the life fibers' urge to destroy. Can you tell me more about it?"
"To be honest, I'm not very sure about it myself." Satsuki said. "I've seen only a few occasions in the past where a wearer of life fibers went berserk and mutated into a monster like Matoi, but those were mainly people whose bodies had a low resistance to the life fibers."
"So it's a rather murky concept?" Soroi asked.
"Life Fibers have been around for quite a while.." Satsuki said. "Maybe in prehistoric times they forced people to be monsters like Matoi..."
"In any event, I hope you can eventually save Miss Matoi from the clutches of Mistress Ragyo." Soroi said as he looked at the moon out the window.
"Yes, that is, if she can even be saved at all..."
Notes:
A bit of a shorter and lighter chapter this time before things pick up in the next one. What exactly does Ragyo mean when she plans to make all the Revocs wearers like Ryuko? You'll have to wait and see, but I assure you, it won't be good for humanity!
