Marcy and Team Dark were looking for the last Chaos Emerald.
" I think we should split up, " Rogue says and puts a tracker on Omega.
" Omega this will allow you to scan for chaos emeralds, " Rogue says as Omega nods.
" Marcy and I will head that way where it should be safer " Rogue nodded as she grabbed Marcy and flew off.
" She's up to something, let's go, " Shadow says, looking for the chaos emerald as Fang the Sniper spies on Rogue.
Meanwhile Sonic arrived at the Temple following Eggman.
"Ok Time to catch up, " Sonic says
Meanwhile, Shadow and Omega arrived at a different temple that had markings of the core eyes.
"Looks like this has been old," Shadow stated, the two enter the temple, the place dark and empty only with vines and cracks on the walls, as walk further, the shadow comes to a stop when saw another mark on the core this time, Alien coming out from sky wreaking havoc, and an asteroid.
"Is That… the black comet?" He said, and Omega looked at him confused, Shadow noticed his confusion. "It's a comet that passes the earth every fifty years. I learned about this asteroid since I stayed here on earth."
He pulled out his phone and snapped a picture of markings on the walls, Shadow entered a room and Spotted Metal Sonic.
" Hello Shadow," The core says.
" Ok Core what is this?" Shadow asked.
Metal Sonic began to light up his jet.
Meanwhile Rogue flew while Carrying Marcy as they arrived to see A missile in Station Square.
"Woah!" Marcy says she spotted Tails was freaking out," Rouge landed down.
" Tails, what is that?" Marcy asked curiously.
"A missile which will explode, " Tails says as Marcy smirked
"I can diffuse it if someone could fly me," Marcy says.
"No, let me do it,"
"Okay," Marcy waited for him to stop the missile but he just stood there." So are you going to or?"
"No. Usually, when I'm with sonic I can do anything, but now he is stopping Eggman." tails look up at the missile."If Sonic were here he would know what to do." Tails said.
"Hey, I don't mean to be rude but Time is ticking," Rogue says.
"Tails Believe in yourself," Marcy says.
"You think I could do it?" Tails asked.
" Well you should give it a try, Sonic would want you to try, " Marcy says, Look at the missile again, and he then took a deep breath
"Okay, '' Tails said," here goes nothing."
He flew up to the bridge, and once he got up there, begins to pull out a screwdriver and scissors, and starts defusing the bomb, he first removes the screws, before getting to work."Now let's see... It can't be that one... Hmm... I got it!"
He cuts one red wire, and the countdown stops the bomb was defused thanks to tails.
"I did it… I did it!" Tails say the citizens cheered, Tails then landed on the ground.
"Whoohoo! Way to go Tails!" Marcy says.
"Ok Let's go I found the last emerald on a tracker " Rogue says, grabbing Marcy and flying off into the skies.
Meanwhile, Sonic made his way and found Eggman.
" Ok Sonic it's just you and me, " Eggman says pressing a button as holes opened up as they lit up as Missiles and rockets homed in on the Hedgehog who ran on a red platform as he notices the missiles closing in as he took out a sword and unleashes a sword slashing spin dash slicing through the rockets.
BOOM! BOOM! SLASH!
Sonic landed and begins rushing. Sonic ran down a very long and narrow corridor. Everything seemed to be going well until he noticed that he wasn't going anywhere. Underneath his feet were a series of rollers that were spinning at the same speed as him, but in the opposite direction, like a gigantic treadmill.
"Here, Sonic," Eggman laughed, "you're gonna have a ball!"
A giant stone ball that took up the entire height and width of the corridor began to roll straight at Sonic! Sonic began to feel a tad frightened as the ball barreled straight at him, ready to squash him flat. Desperate, Sonic powered up his Light Speed Dash, and the blue orbs of energy drew themselves into his very being. Fueled by this newfound energy, he was able to harmlessly smash through the boulder and rocket out of the hallway. Eggman had lost the last of his patience.
"I'm going to intercept that fool all by myself," Eggman declared as he leaped up from his armchair. He ran towards an elevator and it lowered him down to an unknown location. Sonic ran down four flights of stairs to the basement of the stronghold. He ran through another hallway with Egg Spawn robots, but these guys didn't do any harm. Instead, they almost seemed to be cheering on Sonic as he made his way down a red carpet made of velvet.
"Wow, he even gave me the red-carpet treatment!" Sonic smiled. "He sure knows how to make a hero feel welcome." After running down a curved hallway, he paused in front of a pair of large metal doors. Before Sonic could try to bust through them, the doors automatically slid open, revealing a small, cylindrical room.
"Massive, armored doors," Sonic noted. "Little, enclosed space. Nowhere to go except 'in', and nowhere to go except 'back'. He might as well have put a great big neon sign above it saying, 'This way to my trap'!"
He began to strut through the doors, which slammed shut as soon as he crossed the threshold. The only thing left to do was to confront his final challenge: a face-off against Eggman himself, but Eggman wasn't about to let Sonic pummel his own bare body. A gigantic machine began to slide down and it stopped right in front of Sonic. The red machine consisted of a long, snake-like body. A laser cannon was mounted on the head, and two spinning spiked wheels were positioned on the sides of the head. This fearsome creation was appropriately named the Egg Viper. The large canopy on its head opened up, and Eggman and Sonic locked their eyes on each other.
"This is the end of it all, Sonic," Eggman growled. "You and your pesky little friends have always been nothing but a thorn in my side. For many years, you have always caused me trouble, ruining every single one of my attempts to build my Eggman Empire! Now, this will be the last time I'll see you alive. All things between us end right here, right now."
With no more time for talking, Eggman was very anxious to permanently eliminate Sonic from his sight. The canopy closed tight and the giant metallic serpent rose, ready to strike. The laser cannon fired up and blasted a scorching red beam straight at Sonic, who leaped out of the way just in time. The beam then swept back and forth, and Sonic was forced to keep jumping out of the way.
"You seem a bit jumpy lately," Eggman remarked. "Can't stand the heat?"
"I can take anything that comes my way," Sonic grinned. "Give me some more, Eggman!"
The Egg Viper swung its tail at Sonic, who did a backflip over it.
"Impressive," Eggman said. "Time to have some more fun."
The Egg Viper brought its tail down to the ground, causing a shock wave that shook the whole room. The entire chamber started to fall apart, and Sonic recalled a similar event that happened at Twinkle Park when he tried to rescue Amy.
"The whole room is falling apart!" Sonic exclaimed. "Are you that desperate? Do you want to destroy both of us?"
"Don't worry, I'll survive," Eggman laughed. "I can't say the same for you, rodent."
All kinds of metal debris rained down and crashed around them. The Egg Viper swung its tail at Sonic once more, but he jumped over the tail and flew up into the air, ricocheting off the walls.
"I'm through with this," Eggman growled. The Egg Viper's spiked wheels dismounted and flew straight at Sonic like a pair of lethal Frisbees.
Sonic jumped off of any heavy object he could find to climb higher and higher up in the room while dodging the wheels with amazing agility and precision. He suddenly spotted a long, metal pole and clutched it in his grasp before jumping up to a steel catwalk at the very top of the room.
Before long, the Egg Viper reached the top of the room where Sonic was. Eggman saw the pole in Sonic's hand, but he didn't feel it could do any damage against his mighty creation.
"It all ends now," Eggman proudly stated as the laser cannon began to power up. He was ready to blast Sonic at point-blank range. "Game over, Sonic."
"Now's my chance!" Sonic grinned.
With the metal pole in his hand, Sonic jumped up and jammed it into the narrow cannon with all of his strength. The hedgehog then bounced off of the Egg Viper, landing on a small ledge. The powerful energy was trapped inside the cannon, which began to expand before exploding in a fiery blast. The rest of the Egg Viper combusted as well and fell to the ground far below. Suddenly, massive flames shot upwards and set the entire place on fire.
Eggman, relatively unharmed, rose from the fallen wreck of his machine in the Eggmobile. He turned around and shook his fist at Sonic.
"You will pay for this!" Eggman screamed. "Mark my words, you will pay!"
The Eggmobile flew upward and escaped out of a small hole in the ceiling of the room. The hole was too high and dangerous for Sonic to reach, so he decided to go back the way he came. He ran at the speed of sound through the base, dodging every single obstacle in his way. Once outside, he took cover in the forest. Sonic watched as Eggman's entire base crumbled and burned away, leaving behind a pile of rock and twisted metal.
Meanwhile Shadow was having his troubles as Metal Sonic shot some punches toward Shadow who dodged as Omega shot missiles at the robot who dashed away before tearing Omega to bits.
" Omega!" Shadow says as he froze as Metal Sonic stomped his foot breaking Omega in half. That did it alright Shadow was set off as he glared at his creator dead in the eyes.
" You've crossed the line now you will pay!" Shadow says as he unleashes a red dark aura as the temple shook.
" What is this?" The Core says as Shadow had a dark aura as he rushed over and kicked the core sending it back before Shadow rushed over and punched The Core and grabbed its hand and flew up letting go of said hand slamming The Core into the ceiling with a loud thud as smoke came out.
After a few moments, The Core busted out of there and unleashed a yellow aura, and rushed into Dark Shadow pushing him back as Dark Shadow glared and teleported behind the core " Chaos spear!" Dark Shadow called out shooting Black Chaos spears only for Metal Sonic to use his black shield to block it all he then rushed over towards Dark Shadow Dark Shadow growled and punched him in the face and kicked him before shooting a Chaos rift at him causing an explosion.
Shadow soon reverted to his normal form as the Core walked up and noticed Shadow wounded and let out a robotic laugh before he rushed so fast he became a blue blur and rammed his metallic fist into Shadow's face knocking Shadow into a wall as Shadow groaned before being pummeled with Multiple fists.
However Sonic came out of nowhere with a spin dash knocking Metal Sonic back as Sonic glared at Metal Sonic.
"Leave Shadow alone," Sonic says as the core laughed and flew off.
Later Marcy and Rogue arrived at an isolated Island
" With Luck and your powers, we can get that Chaos emerald now let's go, " Rogue says as Marcy nods and ran off.
" Time to test my powers once more!" Marcy says as she rushes around the tropical zone and bounces off a spring. " Oh yeah!" Marcy says in excitement as Rogue flies after her.
" Slow down kid " Rogue says as She and Marcy are soon shown in the past.
"What the?" Marcy asked as they noticed Echidnas.
"Are we in the past?'' Rouge asked as there were lots of explosions as the Echidnas and Owls were going at it.
"This is amazing,'' Marcy says as one Orange Echidna was seen running.
"Follow that Echidna!" Marcy says as they run to see her running " I need to find a way to warn the Echidnas and the Owls that The Core is coming for them and the hedgehog" The girl says
Marcy and Rouge woke up back as Marcy noticed a Chaos Emerald
" Look Rogue, " Marcy says as She grabs it and her eyes flashed back.
In the past, Tikal was soon seen watching as Andrias and his people were invading Mobius.
"Give us the emeralds and we'll leave in peace," Andrias says as they and the echidnas charged toward each other.
Flashback over
" We need to warn Knuckles, " Marcy says worried
" I don't think the Core is after Master Emerald. I think it must be something bigger, " Rogue says.
Meanwhile in the Wachowski residence
"Good afternoon. This is Scarlet Garcia reporting to you live from inside the SSTV news copter. Citizens of Station Square are breathing a collective sigh of relief today after narrowly avoiding a surprise attack by the notorious Dr. Eggman," Tails, the Wachowski, Anne, and Sasha are watching the news about today at the station square. "Yesterday, residents were thrown into a state of panic when Dr. Eggman aimed a missile into the center of the city. A missile housing a ticking time bomb that threatens to explode at any moment.
"Aren't they gonna show me?" Tails asked.
"Soon," Anne said.
"The situation seemed hopeless as tension mounted and terror spread throughout the city. However, thanks to the quick thinking of Mr. Miles Prower, known to his friends as 'Tails', the danger was ultimately averted and calm was restored. City officials have announced plans to honor Mr. Prower for his outstanding bravery."
Tails smiled as Anne and Sasha felt strange.
" I have this weird feeling like I'm stronger, " Anne says.
" How?" Tom asked, Anne briefly flashes Blue.
"Our powers are back but how?" Sasha asked.
"I think Marcy must be behind it, come on, " Tails says, flying up.
Meanwhile, in the mountains, Gamma landed after Marcy saved him from being destroyed by the shadow.
"You can be your person, don't let Eggman use you this way," March said in his head.
"Eggman. Dr. Eggman. Gamma's master. Why?" A flashback of Gamma's brethren being teleported away, as well as Beta being modified, "Beta, Delta, Epsilon."
Another flashback was shown of Marcy protecting gamma.
"Ok I know he seems bad but he isn't. I managed to get him to help Me," She said, Third flashback of Gamma with Amy.
"Thank you." Gamma expressed.
"I was glad to do it. Just returning the favor, Friend."
"Friend," he said.

"You can be your person, don't let Eggman use you this way," Marcy said to Gamma in prison, Finally, Lily's family is shown. All these shots play repeatedly in Gamma's head, stopping Eggman.
"Erasing Eggman, no longer needed. Delete. Delete." Gamma then deleted Eggman in one of his memories. "Must save friends and teammates."Until He then takes off to the sky
